A/N: Shout out to James Birdsong! Glad to have you back with us. ;) Glad you liked the first two chapters.

A/N2: Shout out to my guest reviewer! Could be an evil plan - could be someone ate something they shouldn't. More on that later. ;) Forgive me, if this isn't you, but I have not considered a Shiz era story. Maybe that's the next step. I'll give it a thought. :) Thanks so much!

Chapter 3

"When did this start?" Elphaba gave Fiyero a look as they hurried back to Bayram's room.

"Only a few minutes ago. I have no idea what would have triggered it," she could tell that the Prince was very concerned. They reached the room and could hear retching. Fiyero opened the door to find Bayram throwing up into the trash can.

"When did this start?" Elphaba tried not to breathe in the smell, realizing that she was starting to sound like a broken record.

"Not long after Fiyero left. It's been almost non-stop. I've just barely had enough time to empty the trash can," Boq spoke up.

"Nothing out the backend?" Elphaba raised an eyebrow, kind of not wanting to know.

"Not yet…" Boq made a face as Bayram threw up again.

"Sounds like it could be the start of food poisoning, which is good," she said. All three men gave her a look.

"Hey, physical issues I can fix. Mental issues I cannot," she explained. Fiyero nodded and let her work her magic. Boq opened the windows to try to get some air and freshen up the room.

"Feeling any better?" The green woman asked. Bayram nodded but continued to hold his stomach.

"Glinda is going to freak. We're behind schedule," Boq spoke up.

"She wouldn't want her betrothed barfing on her either," Elphaba gave him a look before refocusing her attention on Bayram. The Lieutenant had spoken a word and the green woman was growing more concerned.

"Bayram – you still with us?" She gave him a look and he pointed at his throat. It was probably raw from all the violent vomiting. Elphaba quickly crafted another spell and helped his throat.

"Better?" She asked.

"Much. I have no idea what I ate that would make me do that. I mean it was nothing out of the ordinary," he said.

"Well, we better get you cleaned up and out to get married," Elphaba smiled and Boq swooped in to help and Fiyero promised to tell everyone they needed a few more minutes. Boq dragged Bayram into the bathroom and made sure he freshened his breath.

"Is Glinda ready?" Bayram asked as he exited the bathroom. Boq helped him straighten his light green tie. His suit was a dark green – as everyone would expect for a "royal" Ozian wedding.

"Oh, she's more than ready," Elphaba said.

"I have to say that you're looking quite nice yourself," Bayram looked at the green woman's dress. It was a lovely shade of lavender.

"Thank you. It took a lot to convince Glinda that I don't look good in pink," Elphaba said. Bayram laughed and said,

"Oh, I bet."

"I think he's ready," Boq said.

"Well then let's not keep them waiting," she winked. The three exited the room and bumped into Fiyero.

"Let's get this show on the road," he chuckled. Elphaba went back to get Glinda and the men headed outside to take their positions.

"Is everything ok?" Glinda asked as her best friend entered the room.

"It is now. Nothing to worry about – well except making sure we get a move on, that is," Elphaba smiled at her.
