So, you want to hear another story, huh? One where the very fate of Pandora hangs in the balance?

If not, too bad, I'm telling you anyway.

First, there was the Vault, an alien prison opened with a mystical key. To the warriors who opened it, the Vault was just a container of tentacles and disappointment. They vanished into the wastelands, certain that the Vault held no treasure at all.

They were wrong.

The Vault's opening triggered the growth of Eridium, a priceless alien element. Soon, the rare and valuable mineral emerged all across Pandora. Its appearance attracted many.

Including... the Hyperion corporation.

They came to Pandora to mine Eridium, and bring order to the savage planet. Through their excavations, Hyperion uncovered evidence of an even greater Vault. Their leader vowed to find it, to use its power to civilize the Borderlands once and for all.

But Hyperion weren't the only ones searching for the next Vault's alien power. The call of danger and loot is not so easily resisted. Certain warriors came to Pandora in droves to uncover its hidden secrets.

Some would call them adventurers. Others call them fools. But I... call them Vault Hunters.

Our story begins with them and with a man named Handsome Jack...

Wha-? Ah, it's you. Eh, knock yourself out, kid!

Thanks, Markus! Anyway, were you following all that? Good, there'll be a quiz on all this later. So yeah, Pandora, a shitty planet that's the closest thing to Hell in all existence. Four super awesome guys came in search of the secrets of the Vault, racing against the Atlas Corporation. They found the Vault and it had a big-ass scary fucking monster that wanted to fuck their faces off. They killed it and then went their separate ways.

But then, this jackass comes along and tries to play himself off as 'The Hero' and to do that, he sticks his mega-corporate hands in various corners, kills anybody he doesn't like, and is currently planning to open another Vault that'll potentially give him the power to take over all of Pandora and, of course, kill anybody he doesn't like that he can't reach yet.

Right now, we focus on six brand new awesome guys looking for the Vault themselves and also for personal reasons...oh, wait, did I say six? I meant SEVEN. One of them being yours truly. You wanna know how the story goes?

Yeah, I kinda do too...

A train was moving through the deserts of Pandora, its destination heading for Hyperion HQ. On the train were seven individuals, all of them had never met until today...well, two of them actually met earlier and boarded together but that's beside the point.

The first was a man of 5'9. He had short brown hair swept back with spikes in his fringe and subdermal implants in the shape of the symbol for a military sergeant. He was wearing a brown military jacket with a patch of a skull with a lightning-shaped crack running through it, a bandolier holding an assault rifle on his back, green cargo pants, and metal boots.

The second was a woman, an incredibly hot one at that. She was around 5'7 and had blue hair in a bob cut plus blue lipstick. She wore a yellow shirt with black and grey patterns on the side, no left sleeve, a glove on her right hand, baggy blue pants, and yellow and black boots.

The third was a 5'4 Hispanic-esque man with dark blue hair in a faux hawk and a spikey beard on his face. He was quite buff and wore an orange shirt, jeans, cowboy boots, and leather gloves.

The fourth was a mysterious guy who was 6'3 and wore a black and grey skintight bodysuit with lightweight armor, a red zero symbol on his chest, and his face was covered by a helmet with a glass faceplate that also had LED tech built in which could project holographs.

The fifth was a teenage girl around 5'3 and had red hair pulled into pigtails with a set of goggles resting on her forehead. She was wearing a sleeveless hoodie with a red shirt with a skull underneath, she had a fingerless glove and some bracelets on her right arm, and her left arm was a cybernetic prosthetic. She also wore a red skirt, with a tool belt with a Vault symbol hanging on it, black and white striped leggings, and blue sneakers.

The sixth was a really tall drink of water around 7'5. He had buzzcut hair, wearing what looked like a cross between a gas mask and a hockey mask, with a piece of leather covering the right eye hole, a harness but no shirt, and his right arm had bandages on it whilst his left arm had metal armor. He also wore orange pants with metal boots and was waving what looked like the lovechild of an axe and a buzzsaw.

The seventh and final individual was a guy in the sexiest-looking armor you've ever seen. And sorry but I can't do a good enough description, I copied and pasted the others off of another fanfic. If you want a visual of what this guy looks like, just look up Gabriel from Last Man Standing by Dan Luvisi. There's a lot of fanart as well, so check that out too.

Sorry, am I getting off-topic? Anyway, let's continue on with the story of these seven future badasses. They were all just hanging out, waiting to get to Hyperion HQ...when suddenly-!

"SEVEN LIFESIGNS FOUND: ROUGE DAHL CORP SOLDIER AXTON, SIREN MAYA, WANTED ASSASSIN ZER0, LOCAL BANDIT SALVADOR, MURDERER OF MARCY HALLOWAY GAIGE, PSYCHO KRIEG, AND-"

The Hyperion Loaderboat currently listing off the seven was blown up by the seventh guy with a Jakobs Shotgun...because Jakobs makes the best ones besides Torgue.

"And me; Badass Ben."

Realizing that Handsome Jack had led them into a trap, the seven all quickly split up. The first guy, Axton, threw up a box that attached itself to the ceiling and unfolded into a sentry gun like he was the Engineer in Team Fortress 2. The turret opened fire on the robots while he took out a Maliwan Rocket Launcher and opened fire.

Maya, the blue-haired chick, casually dodged the rocket Axton fired and used her powers as a Siren to telekinetically lift and throw a loaderbot out of the train car they were in, providing a hole for Salvador to jump through so he could climb to the next car over and open fire by dual-wielding assault rifles, one from Vladof and the other from Dahl.

Gaige, the only other girl of the group, summoned a killer robot out of seemingly nowhere and took out a Tediore Pistol she kept on hand to open fire before throwing it since Tediore can have their guns be used as grenades too. Don't worry, they respawn in your hand afterward with fresh ammo.

Zer0, the assassin dude, had climbed on top of the train car and was confronting two Hyperion engineers. One punched at him, only for the metal fist to go through him, revealing itself to be a hologram. As the tool stood, confused, his buddy jerked as a glowing blue katana blade stabbed out of his chest. The other engineer turned in time to see Zer0 backflip over the dude he backstabbed before planting his feet on the other guy's chest and kicking him into the blade, killing him as well.

Krieg the Psycho was just laughing maniacally as he hacked and slashed at the loaderbots with his Buzzaxe, sticking particularly close to Maya in particular. By the way, they were the two who had met each other previously before boarding the train.

Finally, Ben the Badass was just pumping buckshot with his shotgun into all enemies who got in his way before one lucky piece of scrap got impaled into his chest, making him stumble back...before he just shrugged and yanked the scrap out before using it as a makeshift weapon.

After dealing with the last of the loaders and engineers, the seven stood before the door to the final car and readied their weapons as Axton kicked in the door. They rushed in to clear the place but froze when we saw what was in it.

A chair spun around, revealing a Handsome Jack dummy. A speaker from inside it came to life, and Jack's voice came through.

"It's cute that y'all think you're the heroes of this little adventure, but you're not. Welcome to Pandora, kiddos!"

And before the explosions caused the entire train to derail as Maya did her best to bring up a telekinetic barrier to protect everyone, Ben had just one thing to say before the crash made everyone black out:

"MOTHERFUCKER!"

I saw the Borderlands movie and while I understand why it got bad reviews and was a box office bomb, I still figured it was relatively decent regardless. A lot of things could have been done better but still.

Now, I also watched Deadpool & Wolverine and that was the bomb diggity! So I was thinking; why not make my SIOC like Deadpool and throw him into the world of Borderlands? This story is the result of this madness.

I'm making things up as I go here but I do hope you all enjoy!
