*Sofia's view
Every thing was quite and calm. The sun's rays pour warm, golden light into every corner of the room, casting soft shadows on the walls. My heart swells with warmth as I watched her sleeping peacefully, her chest rising and falling with a steady rhythm. She was loudly snoring, and her hair was messy, but she was still so beautiful and alluring. I was enchanted by the tranquillity that enveloped her. When Pansy finally woke up and glanced around, I quickly pretended to be deeply asleep, hoping she hadn't noticed me watching her.
- Sofia, it's morning. You need to wake up – she said and threw a pillow at me.
- Okay, okay, I am awake – I answered and fling back the cushion to her.
I sat up in the bed, and watched as Pansy began to change into her uniform. Her body and curves was so perfect. I wanted to touch and feel them under my fingers. I wanted to kiss her so much.
- Hey, do you hear me?
- Yes, sorry I was just thinking about uhm… it doesn't matter.
- Okay – her voice was doubtful. - You should start getting dressed too
- Yeah, you are right – I said and started searching for my blouse.
- It's next to your bed. You are really forgetful today – she said laughing.
Soon I was standing in front of the mirror, almost ready when I realised my tie is missing. Panic spreads in me. Why does it have to disappear when I need it? I lift my head and look around the room, but the tie is nowhere to be found.
- Pansy have you seen my tie?
- Didn't you lend it to Elara?
- Yes, but she gave it back to me.
Fortunately we speedily find it. My heart lightens when Pansy drapes it around my neck. As her fingers deftly tie the knot, suddenly a jolt runs through me, and my whole body starts tingling.
After a few minutes, we were ready, and then we went to the dining room. As we entered, I accidentally bumped into a first year. The girl started to cry and run away.
- I did even know, I was so scary.
- You are not scary. You are a really kind person – I immediately blushed.
We sat in the dining hall, and engaging in lively conversation with my friends as we ate breakfast. Once we finished the food, we got up from the table to head to our History of Magic class.
I walked down the corridor with Pansy by my side, engaged in quiet conversation. Suddenly, we stopped in our tracks as a little girl appeared before us. I watched as she looked at us with fear in her eyes, then quickly ran away. I glanced at Pansy, and we shrugged in confusion. Without further thought, we continued on our way through the school, leaving the encounter behind us.
Professor Binns entered the room when the bell rang, and began to explain the importance of the Twentieth Wizarding Conference. But his voice was so monotone that several students fell asleep, their snores echoing softly in the silent classroom. – This class is so boring – I said with a yaw.
- I agree.
- Please tell me something interesting, because I'm about to jump out the window.
- Draw something on my hand.
At first I thought I misheard what she said. – What?
I got goosebumps as she took my hand - I saw your drawings Sof, and they are beautiful. So please draw whatever you want.
- O-o-okay.
I took out my pen and started to draw simple flowers. My hands shook with each movement. I was nervous, but as I immersed myself more and more in the world of patterns, I became calmer. At the end of the class Pansy's hand looked like a garden, each petal and leaf a testament to the quiet beauty of our shared moment.
- This is so pretty, Sofia.
- Thank you.
- What would you say if I draw on your hand too?
- I would be really happy about that – I replied with a big smile.
Butterflies fluttered in my stomach when we sit down at the back corner of the room. Firstly Pansy wanted to draw a cat, but her lines were so uneven that I laughed at her. I took her and started to guide it. In a few minutes we finally manage to get a really good cat out of it.
She is a little scared when I let her hand go, but after an encouraging nod she gets back to work. However, not long after, Professor Mcgonagall noticed us and immediately asked what was going on. We just sit there silently and defiantly didn't say a word. But she got really mad, and didn't tolerate our behaviour, so she sent us to afternoon detention. As Mcgonagall went back to her desk we started to laugh silently.
After class, Pansy and I decided to take a breather outside in the courtyard. The spring air was refreshing after being cooped up in the stuffy classroom. As we strolled, Pansy animatedly discussed her latest divination examination, while I listened, occasionally nodding along.
We found a secluded spot on a bench, joining our friends who were already there. - Hi girlies – Elara said as she happily hugged us.
- Hi - I stated with a smile playing at the corners of my mouth.
We started to talk about transfiguration class, but once I got stuck middle of the sentence. – It seems Potter and his lot are out as well – I remarked with a disgusted grin on my face - Just look at them guys, they behave, as if the whole world would showering them with congratulations.
No wonder we always feel a surge of hatred towards those clowns – Draco added with a short laugh. – Hey Potter! Tell me, how far away should I stay from you and your friends to avoid getting splashed by any potion mishaps?
- Oh look, the revered Harry Potter can't say anything – Pansy's tone was dripping with sarcasm.
- Stop it… – Hermione started to wail, but I cut her off.
- Draco once told you that we don't want to hear your voice, but I think you didn't understand. So I will tell you again mudblood, shut your mouth – her eyes filled with tears.
One moment later, I recoiled with a hiss, clutching my face. – How dare you to slap her? – Elara shouted.
She wanted to push Hermoine, but I stopped her. – Let me – I swinged my hand with all my force.
Her neck crackled, as I slapped her. – You are definitely not normal – she said angrily and threw herself onto me.
I easily roll over her weak body and pinned her to the ground. I grabbed her throat and happily watched as her head become redder and redder. Her eyes bugged out, when I finally let her. – I hope you learned a lesson.- Lastly she hit my face with her fist, but I didn't care about it, just go to the basement with my friends while laughing.
I felt the stares of the students and the concerned gaze of Professor Snape lingering on me. My sleeves were carefully pulled down, but I couldn't hide the bruise on my face. Professor Snape's brows furrowed as he took in the sight, silently questioning me with a look. However, I simply shook my head, a silent plea not to pursue the matter further. Elara quickly found for us a seat. Despite the ache in my face I focused on the task. I determinedly began to write the instructions for the potions, my mind raced to keep up with the Professor words.
Time seemed to be incredibly slow, and after a few minutes I was struggling with being awake. Before long the word started to spin with me, and the colours began to fade until they blended into a blur. Then everything was swallowed up by the darkness.
