Kim Possible: A New Sitch

Chapter 2: A New Day In Middleton

Kim and Ron's parents were sitting in the kitchen of the Stoppables' house. After Kim's house was completely destroyed during the Lorwardians' attack, Ron and his parents had offered to let Kim and her family sleep at their house. Kim's family greatly accepted this offer, especially Kim.

Kim's parents, James and Ann Possible, were currently having tea with Ron's parents, Dean and Olivia Stoppable. It was 8 o'clock at night. They were expecting Kim and Ron to arrive home at any minute following their short trip to Paris.

"Would you like some more tea, Ann?" Olivia offered.

"No thanks, Olivia," Ann politely declined.

"So, when did Kimmie and Ronald say they were getting home?" James asked.

"They should be getting home very soon, James," Dean answered.

Suddenly, the sound of the front door opening was heard from Ron's living room.

"Mom! Dad! We're home!" Ron's voice came.

Ann ran into the living room and saw that sure enough, her daughter and his new fiance had finally arrived.

"Oh, there they are!" Ann said with a big smile.

"Our daughter and her new fiance," James said with a smile.

"Mom! Daddy!" Kim ran to her parents and gave them both a big hug.

Dean and Olivia came into the living room with smiles on their faces.

"It's nice to see you back, Son," Dean said.

"I hope you and Kim didn't have any trouble getting home," Olivia added.

"Nah, it was no trouble at all," Ron said with a wave of his hand.

"Yeah, so not the drama," Kim added.

"Where's Hana?" Ron asked.

"She's upstairs sleeping," Olivia answered. "I'm sure she'll be very excited to see you again when she wakes up."

"What about the tweebs?" Kim asked. "Where are they?"

"They're playing video games in the guest room," Olivia answered.

"And thankfully not working on some crazy contraption or experiment," Ann groaned.

Suddenly, Kim and Ron noticed Kim's younger twin brothers Jim and Tim come running toward them.

"Kim! Hoosha!" The two twin boys both shouted in unison as they gave their older sister a hug.

"Hehe, good to see you too, Tweebs," Kim said with a smile.

"So how was your trip with Ron?" Jim asked.

"Any smoochy smoochy stuff involved?" Tim asked with a smirk.

"Boys…" Ann said sternly with her hands on her hips.

"No, it's ok, Mom," Kim said with a wave of her hand. Her expression became stern. "As long as they weren't spying on us using that satellite they made with my stuff."

"We weren't!" the tweebs said in unison.

"Actually…" Jim said nervously.

"We kind of wanted to…" Tim said.

"But Mom and Dad talked us out of it," they said in unison.

Kim smirked, "Well, thanks for being honest."

"Now, boys, back to the guest room, ok?" James said to the tweebs. "We have some things to discuss with your sister and her new fiance."

"Are you gonna threaten to send Ron into a black hole again if he doesn't make Kim happy?" Jim asked.

"Tweebs!" Kim said with a stern look.

Jim and Tim looked at each other nervously.

"Hicka Bicka Boo?" Jim said.

Hoosha," Tim responded as they both ran back to the guest room.

As soon as they were gone, Ann turned to her daughter and her fiance.

"So, Kimmie, can you show me the ring again?" Ann asked in excitement.

Kim smiled big time as she held up her right hand, showing off her engagement ring.

Ann lightly squealed in excitement, "I can't believe you two are actually engaged."

"I know, I can hardly believe it myself," Kim said as she gazed at her ring. She then looked back at the young man who had proposed to her. "Ronnie really made my night in Paris."

"Anything for the most badical woman I've ever known," Ron said as he took Kim's hands into his own.

"Ahem, well, we're very happy for you both," James said. His expression became stern however as he walked over and put a hand on Ron's shoulder. "But just remember Ronald… make my daughter happy or…"

Ron gulped, "It's a one-way ticket on a deep space probe."

James smiled and nodded, "Exactly."

Ron sighed, "Yep, the tweebs called it."

"They sure did," Kim groaned.

"Oh, don't worry too much about it, honey," Ann assured her daughter. "Your father is just being protective of you as usual."

"I know," Kim said in acknowledgment.

"Hey, don't worry about it, Drs. P," Ron spoke up. "If KP and I can handle traveling the world and fighting a bunch of dangerous bad guys, we can handle marriage. As my badical fiance would say, 'no big'.

Kim giggled as she gave Ron a kiss on the cheek.

Kim and Ron's parents looked fondly at this.

"So what date would you like the wedding to be?" Olivia asked.

Ron shrugged, "We haven't decided yet."

"I'm sure it'll obviously be before we start college," Kim said.

"Well, we have some time to think about it," Dean pointed out.

"In the meantime, we have something else to plan for Kimmie-cub," James chimed in. "And that's your birthday."

"Right, my birthday's in less than two weeks," Kim said, sounding in considerably good spirits.

"So, what would you like to do for your birthday, KP?" Ron asked his fiance.

"Hmm…" Kim thought for a moment. "Maybe just a party with you, our families and all our friends?"

Ron nodded and smiled big time, "Now that's what I'm talking about! Booyah!"

"Booyah!" Rufus repeated in Ron's pocket.

"One thing though," Kim spoke. "Will our new house be finished by then?"

"I'm sure it will be, honey," Ann replied. "We have an insurance policy on the house and the construction team is going to start working on it tomorrow."

"And I'm sure they'll make sure that there's a lot of space for plenty of guests," James added.

Kim smiled, "Thanks, Mom and Dad, you rock."

"Hehe, you're welcome, Kimmie," Ann said.

"Hey, would you guys mind helping me and Ron bring in some bags?" Kim asked.

"Sure, Kimmie-cub," James said.

Ann smirked, "You weren't a shopaholic, were you, Kimmie?"

"Well…" Kim hesitated. "Maybe a little bit."

Ann chuckled, "That's ok, Honey."

After Kim and Ron's parents helped them bring in the bags of clothes they bought in Paris, Kim and Ron were spending some time together in Ron's bedroom which they agreed to share.

"So, KP…" Ron spoke up. "When do you think we should get married?"

"Well…" Kim thought for a moment. "I got it! Maybe we should get married at the end of July. That way, we'll have plenty of time to plan the wedding and plenty of time to have our honeymoon before we start college."

"Hey, good idea, KP!" Ron said in immediate agreement. "But are you sure we'll be able to get everything ready by then."

"Of course, we will, Ronnie," Kim answered. "We're experts on planning parties in such a short time. And with help from our friends and family, I'm sure we'll be able to get everything done, no problem. So not the drama."

Ron smiled, "Alrighty then, KP."

Ron noticed Kim starting to tear up.

"Um, Kim, are you ok?" Ron asked, concerned.

"I'm fine, Ron," Kim said, actually sounding happy. "These are tears of joy. Even though my house was destroyed and all my stuff with it, I still have you with me and now we're going to be married and go to college together. I've just never felt so happy in my entire life."

Ron smiled big time as he started tearing up as well, "I know exactly how you feel, KP. When I had that talk with Mr. Barkin, he made me start thinking that Graduation would be the end of the world. Or my world at least. And when the Lorwardians attacked, the world almost did end and I thought I was going to lose you forever."

"But that didn't happen, Ronnie," Kim said with a big smile. "The world didn't end and you didn't lose me. And you have yourself to thank for that. Cause you're the one who saved my life. And the way you used your monkey powers to save me like that was just incredible."

"I wasn't going to let anything happen to you, KP," Ron said softly. "Cause like I said before I can't live without you. And I love you."

"I love you too, Ronnie," Kim said, tearing up even more. "And I can't live without you either."

The two crime-fighting teens leaned in and started kissing.

The next day, Kim and Ron were walking out of their house and into the neighborhood, hand in hand.

"Well, KP, shall we go for a nice walk in Middleton?" Ron asked in a flirty tone.

"Of course, we shall, Ronnie," Kim responded in a flirty tone. "And we'll go to Club Banana to visit Monique as well."

"And maybe we'll bump into some other friends while we're there," Ron pointed out.

"I'm sure we will, Ron," Kim replied. "Though, I'm hoping we won't bump into certain other familiar faces, if you know who I'm talking about."

Ron nodded, "Yeah. Gotcha, KP."

As soon as they walked into the mall, Kim and Ron noticed a bunch of people applauding as they came.

"Way to go, Kim and Ron," a voice called out.

"Congrats on the engagement!" another voice came.

"Way to get bold and propose to your girl, Stoppable!" Another voice shouted.

"Hehe…" Ron chuckled nervously. He whispered to Kim. "I'm guessing that the post you made on your website about our engagement got more people's attention than we expected."

"Yeah, no kidding," Kim whispered back. "But I like it."

"Me too, KP," Ron said with a chuckle.

Inside the clothing store, Club Banana, Monique, Kim's best female friend had just finished cashing out a customer when she saw Kim and Ron walk into the store.

"Oh my gosh, here comes the newly engaged couple!" Monique squealed in excitement.

"Monique!" Kim said happily with a wave.

Monique ran around the front desk and gave Kim a big hug.

"Welcome back, Girl! You too, Ron!" Monique said happily.

"Hehe, great to see you too, Monique," Kim said as she hugged her best friend back.

"Yeah, badical to see ya, Monique," Ron added with a wave.

"I saw the post on your website!" Monique informed. "Everyone in Middleton has heard about your engagement. It's all over town. People are talking an even bigger storm about it than they did when you two started dating."

"Wow… spankin!" Kim said with a big smile.

"I wanted to call and talk to you about it, but I figured you and Ron didn't want to have your… privacy invaded," Monique said with a smirk.

"Why thanks, Monique," Kim said with appreciation.

"So how was Paris?" Monique asked.

"It was amazing, Monique," Kim answered.

"Yeah, the City of Lights was just badical," Ron added. "And even better with my badical bride-to-be by my side."

Kim giggled at Ron's comment.

"Glad you got used to saying lights instead of lice, Ron," Monique commented with a smirk.

Ron chuckled, "Well, when you get plenty of reminders and practice saying stuff enough, you learn pretty quickly."

"So, Kim, when's the wedding?" Monique asked in anticipation.

"Well, actually…" Kim started to say.

"Well, well, well… look who's back," a familiar voice came behind them.

Kim and Ron turned around to see Bonnie Rockwaller coming toward them with a smirk on her face.

"Bonnie…" Kim groaned. "What do you want?"

"Oh, nothing much, Kim," Bonnie said with a nasty smirk. "Just thought I'd come say hi to you and your new fiance, the 'loser dog'."

Kim growled.

"Um, first of all, Bon-Bon…" Ron started to say. "My mad dog routine was actually a big hit with the crowd. And secondly, I spent all of senior year being a star running back."

"Besides, Bonnie…," Monique chimed in. "I seem to recall you not thinking Ron was a loser when you and he won Homecoming King and Queen."

"Because I was desperate, obviously," Bonnie pointed out. "But now, I'm dating my dream hottie while K is stuck getting married to this loser."

"Uh, newsflash, B," Kim snarled. "I'm marrying Ron because I love him and he loves me."

"Yeah, Bonnie," Ron added. He smirked. "And me and Kim are going to have a badical wedding and honeymoon over the summer while you're stuck in summer school."

Kim smirked, "He's got you there, B."

Bonnie growled, "Thanks for the newsflash, K. That doesn't change the fact that you two are still at the bottom of the food chain."

Bonnie turned around and stormed off.

"Oh, that girl's still as sweet as ever," Monique groaned sarcastically.

Rufus popped out of Ron's pants pocket blew raspberry in the direction Bonnie left.

"Oooh, that Bonnie!" Kim groaned. "Ever since she started dating Junior, she's been getting even more obnoxious."

"You got that right, KP," Ron agreed. "One thing's for sure she's not invited to your birthday party or our wedding."

"Oh, yeah," Kim gasped. She remembered what she was about to say before Bonnie interrupted and turned back around to face Monique. "Ron and I also came here to invite you to our wedding. The wedding is going to be on July 30. And we also wanted to invite you to my birthday party on June 7."

"Well, thanks a million, Girl," Monique said in appreciation. "I'll be there for both of those things."

"Thanks, Monique," Kim said. "And if you want, you can be the maid of honor."

"You got it, Girl," Monique beamed.

"Kim!" two more voices came in unison.

Kim, Ron and Monique looked to see Tara and Hope from Kim's old cheer squad running toward them. Tara and Hope would often hang around Bonnie's crowd, but they were still on good terms with Kim and Ron.

"Hey, Tara, hey, Hope," Kim said with a wave.

"Kim, is it true that you and Ron got engaged?" Tara asked excitedly.

"We sure did," Kim said as she took Ron's hand into her own.

"Well, congratulations," Hope said. "We wish you two the best of luck."

"Thanks, girls," Kim said in appreciation. "And by the way, Ron and I will be inviting you and the rest of the squad, except Bonnie, to my birthday party. And you're also invited to our wedding as well."

"Really?" Tara said in surprise.

"Sure," Ron said. "You guys deserve to celebrate with us. You're more than welcome."

"Thanks, Ron," Tara said in appreciation.

"We might be able to make it to both of those things," Hope spoke up. "We just have to make sure Bonnie doesn't find out."

"Yeah… I don't think Bonnie would approve of you two, let alone the rest of the squad coming to my birthday and our wedding," Kim acknowledged.

"Yeah, she'd definitely lay into us, wouldn't she?" Tara said nervously.

"Not if she doesn't find out," Hope pointed out.

Kim smirked, "You got that right."

"You know, Bonnie was just here and acting like the mean queen she is, as usual," Monique informed the two cheerleaders.

Hope sighed, "Yep, sounds like Bonnie alright."

"Do you get the feeling that she seems to be getting meaner than usual?" Tara speculated.

"Well, considering that she has to go to summer school it's not really a surprise," Monique pointed out.

"Not to mention that the guy she's dating is a bad guy," Kim said. "To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if she started assisting the Seniors in their evil schemes."

"Well, if she did, it would give you an excuse to kick her butt," Ron pointed out.

Kim giggled, "You got that right."

Ron, Monique, Tara and Hope giggled as well.

"Well, KP and I are going to the food court for lunch," Ron announced. "We'll see you later."

"Yeah, see you later, Girls," Kim said with a wave.

"Bye!" Tara and Hope both said.

"See you later, Girl," Monique waved. "And congrats once again on the engagement!"

"Thanks, Monique!" Kim said in appreciation.

With that, Kim and Ron started leaving Club Banana to go to the food court.

Kim and Ron were walking through the mall when another familiar voice called out to them.

"Hey, Ron-man!"

Kim and Ron looked to see Felix Renton rolling up to them in his cyber-robotic wheelchair.

"Felix!" Ron said happily. "How's it going, my main man?"

"It's going great," Felix replied. "I heard about your engagement with Kim. Way to go, my man. That must have taken serious guts."

"Well, maybe it did a little," Ron shrugged. "But after everything Kim and I have been through in the past few days, I'd say it doesn't take guts to propose to the badical woman you love."

Kim smiled at that comment.

"You know, you and Zita are invited to the wedding too, Felix," Kim spoke up.

"Thanks, guys," Felix said in appreciaiton.

"And I'd be honored to make you my best man," Ron added.

"Seriously?" Felix said in surprise.

"Well, of course, who else would I pick?" Ron pointed out. "You're my best male friend after all."

Felix shrugged, "Can't really argue with that."

"We'll send you an invitation with the details later," Ron informed.

"We also wanted to invite you to my birthday party," Kim chimed in.

"Sure," Felix said. "I'm totally in for both of those things."

"By the way, where's Zita?" Ron asked.

"She's waiting for me at the arcade," Felix answered. "I gotta go meet her there right now. See you guys later."

"Alright, bye, Felix. Stay frosty," Ron called to his best male friend as he left.

"Bye, Felix," Kim called with a wave.

"Well, seems like we have plenty of friends coming to your birthday and our wedding, huh, KP?" Ron spoke.

"It looks that way," Kim responded.

"You know..." Ron started speaking. "I wonder if Drakken and Shego would want to entertain your birthday and our wedding too."

Kim gained a look of surprise, "Nah, they probably wouldn't be interested. Would they?"

"Well, we did hear that they decided to go straight after helping us defeat the Lorwardians," Ron pointed out. "It would probably be rude not to invite them."

Kim shrugged, "I guess you do have a point. We might as well go to their lair and ask them if they're interested. Still, I wonder what they could possibly be doing right now."

To be continued…
