Chapter 4: A Demented Exchange
Kim and Ron arrived in Upperton and sure enough they came across tire tracks that looked like they indeed came from a monster truck.
"Monster truck tire tracks," Kim speculated. "Looks like Motor Ed was here alright."
Ron noticed a bunch of cars and trucks knocked over and/or crushed.
"Geez, looks like Motor Ed made a not-to-subtle scene coming through here," Ron commented.
"Uh huh," Rufus commented inside Ron's pants pocket.
Kim got Wade on her wrist kimmunicator.
"Wade, we found tire tracks and we're pretty sure they belong to Motor Ed," Kim informed the young tech genius. "Can you use the trail to track him down?"
"You got it, Kim," Wade said as he pressed some buttons on his keyboard.
"So Wade is going to hack into those satellites again like he did when Motor Ed, Drakken and Shego stole Felix's wheelchair?" Ron inquired.
"Yep," Kim nodded. She smirked. "Not to mention how he found those Zombie Mayhem cheat codes in your back pocket."
Ron chuckled nervously.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Upperton, Professor Dementor was standing with some of his henchmen in front of a huge black building. He was currently expecting something.
"Where is he?" Dementor said, impatiently. "He should have been here already. I cannot wait any longer!"
"Easy, boss, he's headed this way right now," said a henchman with binoculars.
Dementor took the binoculars from the henchman and looked through them. Sure enough, the person he was expecting was coming toward the building. It was Motor Ed.
Dementor grinned, "Well, it looks like it's just about time to begin the exchange."
Meanwhile, Kim and Ron were flying over the town in the sloth when Wade's face appeared on the car's kimmunicator screen.
"I got it," Wade spoke up. "It looks like the tire tracks lead to a building just on the outskirts of Upperton."
Wade brought up an image of the building on the screen.
"I'm willing to bet that this is one of those places for Black Market deals and such," Ron pointed out.
"I think you're right, Ron," Kim agreed. "It does look similar to the building where Duff Killigan was trying to sell the Centurion Project to Drakken and Shego years ago."
"So whoever hired Motor Ed to steal those plans must be meeting him there?" Ron speculated.
"Could be," Kim said. "Only one way to find out."
"The building is at these coordinates," Wade informed them. Wade brought up an image of a map with a glowing red dot in the center.
"Thanks, Wade," Kim said appreciatively.
Kim steered the car in the direction of the coordinates.
Kim and Ron had soon arrived at the Black-Market building in Upperton. They hid behind a bush so they couldn't be seen. Sure enough, they saw three of Motor Ed's goons on motorcycles in front of the building. They also saw two of Dementor's henchmen guarding the entrance.
"Those look like a few of Motor Ed's goons alright," Kim speculated.
"And look, two of Dementor's goons, over by the entrance!" Ron whispered pointed out.
"Which means that Dementor did make a deal with Motor Ed," Kim speculated. "And if he wants Dr. Porter's android designs, my guess is he wants to use them to create an army of robots."
"Another robot army?" Ron groaned. "Man, how many times do we have to fight robots these days?"
"Well, the way I see it," Kim started saying. She smirked. "If Dementor doesn't get those designs, he can't build a robot army, now can he?"
Ron smirked.
"Well, then it looks like it's up to us to put a stop to this demented exchange, huh, KP?" Ron said as he pounded his fist into his palm.
Kim giggled, "You got that right, Ronnie. Let's take these bad guys down. And, uh, feel free to go monkey style on them while you're at it."
Ron chuckled, "You got it, KP."
"And, don't worry," Kim added. She smirked sultrily. "I promise that afterwards we can have a little… alone time."
Ron smirked, "Booyah."
Meanwhile, inside the Black Market building, Motor Ed and his goons were indeed standing before Professor Dementor with a rolled up sheet of blueprints in his hand.
"Thank you for bringing me ze android designs, Eddie," Dementor spoke.
"Hey, it's Motor Ed to you, weird helmet guy! Seriously!" Motor Ed said irritably.
"Yes, yes, whatever you say," Professor Dementor said. "Let's just make the trade, shall we?"
Dementor held up a grey case in his hand.
"Here's ze money as promised," Dementor said as he handed the case to Motor Ed.
"Righteous, dude! Seriously," Motor Ed said as he handed the blueprint sheet to Dementor.
Dementor grinned as he took the designs from Ed.
Meanwhile, Motor Ed's goons and Dementor's goons were still guarding the entrance when, Kim and Ron jumped out of the bushes.
"Hey, it's Red and that Skinny Dude!" one of Motor Ed's goons exclaimed.
"It's Kim Possible and her sidekick," one of Dementor's goons pointed out.
Ron sighed, "Guess some bad guys still can't get my name right."
"Nevermind that, Ron," Kim urged her fiance. "Head in the game, please and thank you."
"Right, got it, KP," Ron said sheepishly.
"Get em!" One of the motorcycle goons shouted.
The motorcycle goons started revving up toward Kim and Ron in an attempt to run them over.
"Spread out!" Kim shouted.
Kim and Ron jumped out of the way of the speeding motorcycles.
Ron noticed one of the goons coming back around toward Kim.
"KP, look out!" Ron called out.
Kim jumped out of the way of the motorcycle goon before she fired a grappler from her wrist kimmunicator and it wrapped around the goon's arm. Kim pulled on the grapple and pulled the goon off of his motorcycle. Kim ran over to the dismounted motorcycle and started riding it, before she chased after the other motorcycle goons.
"Hey, no fair!" The first goon shouted as he watched Kim drive off on his motorcycle.
Ron watched as this happened.
"Hang tight, KP, I'm coming!" Ron called out.
But then, Ron noticed Dementor's two henchmen closing in from behind him.
Ron smirked.
"Guess now it's once again time to put the MMP to good use," Ron said firmly.
He started tapping into his mystical monkey power as his eyes glowed blue.
The two henchmen were about to lung at Ron, but before they could, Ron leapt at them and landed a few swift punches and kicks knocking them out, before leaving them in a bundled heap.
Ron dusted his hands off as he looked satisfied with himself.
"Ron!" Kim's voice came.
Ron looked to see his fiance running toward him.
"KP," Ron said happily.
Kim and Ron embraced each other in a hug.
"Are you alright?" Kim asked.
"I'm fine," Ron informed. "Dementor's henchmen are in a bundled heap right now, as you can see, courtesy of the MMP. What about Motor Ed's goons?"
Kim smirked, "They're all tied up at the moment."
Kim pointed to where Motor's Ed's goons were tied up and knocked out while their motorcycles were trashed.
"Way to go, KP!" Ron said. He held up his hand for a high five before Kim high fived him. "Booyah!"
"No time to celebrate yet, Ron," Kim reminded him. "We still have to stop Dementor and Motor Ed."
Suddenly, Kim and Ron noticed Motor Ed and Dementor walking out of the front of the building.
"What the- Red and skinny dude?!" Motor Ed shouted and disbelief.
"What?! Fraulein Possible?!" Dementor shouted. "And her sidekick whose name escapes me?"
"Uh, the name's Ron!" Ron said with his arms crossed.
"And that's fiance to you, Dementor," Kim said with her arms.
"Fiance?" Dementor said in confusion.
"Woah, you two are getting married? Nice," Motor Ed commented.
"Flattery will get you nowhere squirrel head," Kim said.
"Now it's time for you two to go back to jail," Ron added.
Dementor growled, "I don't think zo!"
Dementor pulled out a laser gun from his pocket and fired a laser blast at Kim and Ron.
Kim and Ron dodged the laser and dropped to the ground.
"Sorry, Eddy, but I'm afraid this is where we part ways," Dementor said before he attempted to flee with the android designs.
"Wait! You're leaving me to face Red and Skinny Dude alone?!" Motor Ed said. "Bogus, dude! Seriously!"
"You got that right, Eddy," Ed heard Kim say.
Ed noticed Kim run up to him before Kim punched him right in the face knocking him out.
Kim and Ron then noticed Dementor running around the side of the building.
"Dementor's getting away!" Kim called out.
"I got this, KP!" Ron spoke.
Ron once again, tapped into his mystical monkey power and used it to run after Dementor at high speed.
Dementor around to see Ron charging at him from behind.
"What?!" Dementor said in complete shock.
Ron caught up to Dementor and punched him right in the face.
"Since vhen can ze sidekick run like zat?" Dementor said in a dazed voice before he passed out.
"That's fiance to you, Dementor," Ron said as he stood triumphantly over him. Ron reach down and picked up the android designs which Dementor had dropped.
"Great job, Ronnie," Kim said. "Nice work getting the android designs back from Dementor. And taking down those Dementor's goons back there."
"Eh, you could have easily done the same, KP," Ron said modestly. "I figured that now that I learned to control these monkey powers, I might as well use them to lend a better hand on missions."
"Well, in any case, you did a really good job," Kim said, sounding impressed.
Ron smiled, "Thanks, KP."
Later, Motor Ed and Dementor were being escorted to police cars in handcuffs.
"Bogus, Red!" Motor Ed shouted. "I just wanted some money! Seriously!"
"Stop with ze whining, Eddy!" Dementor shouted as he and Ed were both shoved inside the police car.
Soon the police car drove off with Dementor and Motor Ed.
"Well, KP," Ron got his fiance's attention. "Now that those two bad guys are taken care of, what do you wanna do now?"
Kim smirked, "I can think of a few things."
Ron smirked, "Booyah!"
Rufus popped out of Ron's pants pocket and slapped his head, "Oh, brother!"
