Kim Possible: A New Sitch

Chapter 5: Dinner At Bueno Nacho And Party Plans

After Kim and Ron foiled Motor Ed and Professor Dementor, they decided to go out to eat before they returned home. Since Ron was instrumental in stopping Dementor from escaping, Kim decided to let Ron choose which restaurant they go to.

Of course, Ron chose his favorite restaurant, Bueno Nacho. But since the one in Middleton was still being rebuilt following the Lorwardian Invasion, they decided to go to the Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho in Go City, which was miraculously in perfect shape.

Kim and Ron had just arrived in Go City and were walking toward the Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho hand in hand.

"It's a miracle that the Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho in Go City is still in perfect shape, huh, KP?" Ron said in amazement.

"No kidding, Ronnie," Kim responded. "But then again, Team Go was obviously defending the city during the Lowardian Invasion so, it's not really a big surprise."

Ron nodded, "Yeah, you got a point."

"You know, even though our Bueno Nacho is still being rebuilt, I'm surprised you'd want to come to this one of all places after all the complaining you did about the 'no naco' thing," Kim spoke up.

Ron shrugged.

"Well, I don't really care at this point," Ron said. "As long as it's a Bueno Nacho that hasn't been smashed to pieces, there's no problem. It's no big at all. Besides, I'm fine going anywhere as long as it's with my badical fiance."

Hearing that, Kim started tearing up again. She stopped and pulled Ron in for a passionate kiss which Ron returned.

After they broke the kiss…

"Woah, what was that for?" Ron asked. "Not that I'm complaining."

Kim shrugged, "Just felt like it."

Ron smiled warmly, "I'll take a free kiss anytime of the day, KP."

Kim smirked, "In that case…"

Kim pulled Ron in for another heartwarming kiss which Ron returned.

As soon as they separated, Kim spoke…

"So… shall we go have a nice leisurely dinner, Ronnie?" Kim said in a flirty tone.

"Of course we shall, KP, my badical fiance," Ron responded with a big smile.

With that, Kim and Ron went into Bueno Nacho and used the self-order tablets to order their meals before they picked a table and sat down.

While they were sitting, they conversed.

"You know, KP, I sure am glad we get to eat here again," Ron spoke up.

"Me too, Ronnie," Kim responded. She smirked. "Especially now that you're not complaining about the 'no-naco' thing."

"Ok, ok, I get it, Kim," Ron said in an annoyed tone. "Geez."

Kim giggled, "Come on, Ron, I'm just messing with you."

Ron sighed, "I know."

Suddenly, a familiar voice was heard.

"Well, well… Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable. What a nice surprise."

Kim and Ron turned to see a familiar face coming toward them. It was Shego's brother Hego. Only right now, he was wearing his Bueno Nacho manager outfit instead of his blue and black superhero suit.

"Hego!" Ron said with a wave. "How's it hangin?"

"Yeah, what up, Hego?" Kim greeted with a smile. "Nice to see you."

"Very nice to see both of you as well," Hego said politely. "I heard you two actually got engaged. Congratulations."

Kim chuckled, "Well, you can thank Ron for that. He's the one who had the courage to propose to me in the first place."

Ron chuckled, "Hehe, yeah."

"Well, I am very happy for both of you," Hego spoke.

"So how are the rest of Team Go?" Kim inquired.

"They're doing just fine, Miss Possible," Hego answered. "They're currently volunteering at a food pantry. We did our best to defend Go City during the recent… invasion. But the attack still left many casualties on our beloved city. So we decided to do our best to help out."

"Hey, look on the bright side," Ron spoke up. "At least you managed to save Bueno Nacho."

Kim rolled her eyes at what Ron had just said before speaking, "Well, it's nice that you and the rest of Team Go have been lending a hand to those less fortunate since the Lowardian Invasion."

"Thanks, Miss Possible," Hego responded with a smile. "By the way…" he hesitated. "How's Shego doing? I heard that she and her blue friend had gone straight."

"She's actually doing very well," Kim responded brightly. "Ron and I spoke to her just recently. She said she recently accepted a job at our old high school."

"Well, that's really good to hear," Hego said. "Um, if you see her again, can you tell her I said hello?"

"Sure, Hego, no big," Kim answered.

"Thanks," Hego said. "And please, while I'm in Bueno Nacho uniform, call me, Mr. Go."

Kim nodded, "Sure thing, Mr. Go."

"Mr. Go," Ron repeated. "Has a nice ring to it."

Later, Kim and Ron had left Bueno Nacho and were currently walking through the city.

"So, KP…" Ron started speaking. "Wanna take a little walk around the city? If you want, we could even stop at some shops."

"Thanks, Ronnie," Kim responded to Ron's offer with a warm smile. "But after today's sitch against Dementor and Motor Ed, I'm beat. I think I'd just like to spend time with you at home. We also have to start making some preparations for my birthday party pretty soon."

Ron smiled warmly, "Then we shall do just that, my badical fiance."

Kim giggled, "Thanks, Ronnie."

The two crime-fighting lovers held hands as they walked back to the sloth.

Meanwhile, in Middleton, Tara and Hope were having dinner in the mall's food court.

"So it's agreed, we're taking the whole squad to Kim's birthday party?" Tara spoke. "Excluding Bonnie, of course."

"Of course, we are," Hope answered. "Despite how much she kept ditching practice, Kim has done so much for our squad. I think it's time we return the favor for once."

"I agree, Hope," Tara agreed. "Kim and Ron really deserve it for all they've been through recently."

"Yeah, but we're gonna have to be sneaky about it," Hope pointed out. "We can't let Bonnie find out just yet that we're hanging out with her sworn enemy. And I feel like she's been getting kind of… meaner ever since she found out she has to go to summer school."

"Ugh, I wish we didn't have to live in fear of Bonnie's ridicule anymore," Tara groaned. "We're high school graduates now."

"I know, but I don't think any of us are very ready to admit just how we care about Kim and don't care about Bonnie," Hope pointed out. "For now, we should just keep it on the down low."

Tara sighed. "I understand."

"Hey, Tara, hey, Hope," Tara and Hope were startled when they heard Bonnie's voice.

Sure enough, there Bonnie was strutting toward them.

"Oh, hey, Bonnie," Tara said nervously. "What are you doing here?"

"And where's your super rich boyfriend?" Hope asked, trying to hide the annoyance she felt as she asked that question.

"Junior's waiting for me back at his island," Bonnie answered. "I just felt like going out for a nice leisurely night at the mall. What are you two doing here?"

"Same," Tara said simply.

"That's right," Hope added.

"So…" Bonnie continued speaking. "I haven't seen Kim around. Have you?"

Tara shrugged, "Nope."

"We haven't seen her all night," Hope said simply.

"Probably off saving the world again with her loser boyfriend no doubt," Bonnie said condescendingly. "Well, it doesn't matter, because she's not invited to my party in a few weeks."

"Party?" Hope repeated.

"What party?" Tara asked in confusion.

Well, to help me feel better about having to go to summer school…" Bonnie explained. "Junior is helping throw a big party at his island. A bunch of his rich friends will be there. It'll be on June 7th and you're both invited."

"Us?" Hope said in surprise.

"Really?" Tara added.

"Of course, you two are my… best friends after all," Bonnie responded with a big smile. A smile that looked a little forced in Hope's opinion.

"Uh, but Bonnie…" Hope started speaking. "Kim's birthday party is on that day, isn't it?"

"Well, there were no other free dates," Bonnie said simply.

"Yeah, right," Hope thought in her head.

"Besides," Bonnie said in a disturbingly sweet sounding voice. "Why would you want to go to Kim's lame birthday party, when I'm giving you the opportunity to hang out with me, your best friend and rub elbows with some rich people."

Tara and Hope looked at each other. They both knew that Bonnie was trying to get them to come to her party instead of Kim's to prove that Bonnie was more superior. But they didn't want to go along with that at all. Luckily, they had something in mind.

"Well, Bonnie…" Hope started speaking. "As much as we'd love to go to your totally awesome party… we can't.

"Oh…?" Bonnie said as she stared at Hope. "And why's that?"

"Well, we both have plans with our families that weekend," Tara said, trying to sound as innocent as she could.

"What kind of plans?" Bonnie asked with a hint of suspicion in her voice.

"Just family trips, that's all," Hope said simply.

"Hmm, well, your loss," Bonnie spoke. "I guess I'm going to have to have my awesome party on Junior's island… without you."

It was then that Bonnie turned around and started walking away.

As soon as Bonnie was out of earshot, Hope sighed with relief.

"I think she bought it," Hope said in relief.

"I can't believe it," Tara said in an annoyed tone. "Why does Bonnie still feel like she has to use us as puppets in her popularity game?"

"She's probably just desperate to keep up her delusional popularity image since she has to go to summer school," Hope speculated. "But we don't have to go along with that anymore."

Tara sighed, "You're right. This time, it's Kim and Ron we're going to spend time with, not Bonnie. I just hope she doesn't find out what we're really up to."

"Well, as long as we play our cards right, she'll never have to find out," Hope responded with a smirk.

As Bonnie walked out of the mall, she took out her phone and dialed a certain number.

"Hello?" Junior's voice came on the other end.

"Hey, Junior, it's Bonnie," Bonnie said cheerfully.

"Oh, hello, my love," Junior responded cheerfully. "Any success inviting your friends to our party?"

"No, unfortunately," Bonnie groaned. "They said they had plans with their families, but I think they might be up to something. And I have a feeling I know what they're planning to do."

"So, do you want me and father to send someone to spy on them?" Junior asked.

"Yes… that's exactly what I want you to do," Bonnie said with a smirk.

To be continued…
