Chapter 24: Seraphina, My Love
Part 2
Featuring Missile firing Choju, Doratkishim
Selene lead the Terrible Trio into Emperor Belos's throne room where Belos himself was waiting.
Selene: My lord, I brought them.
Emperor Belos: Ah, the Terrible Trio. Babalou, Karasniper and Scourge.
The three looked nervous not knowing where this was going.
Emperor Belos: I've heard a lot about you three. The crimes that you three have commited and the fact your are covenless would instantly have you all to be petrified. However, I talked with Selene and she said that we could put you into good use. I'm willing to pardon your crimes if you help me.
Babalou: Oh no. Let's get one thing straight Emperor Belos. We do not work for no one.
Scourge: Yeah we're not up for your rules and all that.
Emperor Belos: I'm not saying to join my coven, but to assist me.
Karasniper: Why should we? What's in it for us?
Emperor Belos: I thought you might ask that.
An abomiton approached the three carrying a large chest. It placed it down and opened it up, showing them all the snails inside. The three looked amazed at it and took a closer look.
Scourge: Look at all the snails.
Karasniper: There must be atleast 500,000 worth of it.
Emperor Belos: Of course that is only a sample of what I am offering you.
The three looked up to him.
Babalou: S-Sample?
Emperor Belos: Help me with the Titan's plans and deal with those that interfere it. In return I will not only pardon you three of your crimes, but the reward I offer you will set you for life.
The three looked at each other and nodded. They got down on their knees and kneeled to him.
Babalou: We're in, Emperor Belos.
Emperor Belos: Excellent. Selene will set you on your first mission.
The three got up and went to Selene.
Scourge: So uh...what's our mission boss?
Selene: ( smirking) Bringing in a traitor.
The next day.
We're at the living room where everyone was at and Lilith was writing what to say to Seraphina. There were crumbled up pieces of paper all over the floor.
Lilith: Okay lets see. Seraphina, it's so good to see you again. I know it's been years and you probably aren't happy to see me. I'm sorry for what I did but if you just let me explain we can work something out. No, no that's not it.
Lilith crumbled up the paper and threw aside and wrote a new one.
Lilith: Seraphina, wow is that you? You look amazing. No, I'm supposed to apologize not flatter her.
She crumbled the next paper and got another one.
Lilith: Seraphina, I'm sorry for what I've done. I can explain my actions and...ugh, trying to find the right words for an apology is harder than I thought.
Eda: Just take your time Lily. Just think the right words to say.
Christa: Okay so how are we going to get Seraphina to meet with Lilith?
Luz: I can try and talk to her, but I don't even know where she lives.
Eda: Oh right. Lily where did you say she lived at?
Lilith: ( gasps) Oh no I forgot. There was one point I tried to talk to her again. I went to her house, but found out she moved away. I don't know where she lives now.
Eda: Oh...okay this isn't good..
Luz: Well Amity and I met her in the forest when we were attacked.
Lilith: Wait, she might still be a ranger. It's one of the jobs for beast keepers to ensure witches not to get killed by beasts or to keep them from being hunted.
Amity: So then we'll try and find her again there.
Eda: Okay, so Liliy when you're ready we'll go find her.
Lilith: Okay, listen thank you all again for doing this. I know I've done some pretty awful things in the past and you didn't even have to let me stay here or help me with my problems. But I really appreciate this.
Eda: Hey, we weirdos got to stick together Lily.
Lilith: I am not a weirdo.
Eda: You've been once since you moved in here.
As they kept talking they didn't notice Kaa, wathcing them from the window and his eyes glowing. This was his connection with Selene to allow her to see what he see's.
Selene: I see you there Lilith. Stay close Kaa. Follow them until I get there.
Later that day.
The group were walking through the forest to find Seraphina.
King: Guys we've been here for like, 3 hours.
Christa: King it's been 30 minutes.
King: Well demon time flows differently for me.
Eda: King there is no such thing as demon time.
King: Well I just came up with it.
Luz: Well, this is a safer part of the woods. I think we went into a dangerous part the other night.
Amity: Maybe it'd be easier if we flew over and tried to search from above.
Christa: I guess we should.
Amity and Christa each formed their staffs and got on. Luz went on with Amiyt and King with Christa.
Luz: Eda, Lilith you coming?
Lilith: I'm not ready yet. If you find her, just bring her here.
Eda: I'll wait here with you.
The four of them flew off to find her. They spent some time flying around, but nothing.
Luz: I don't see her.
Christa: Maybe she has it off today.
King: Guys, I feel nauseous
Christa: Hold it in King, let me land first.
But then they heard faint roar which sounded like a low pitched elephant sound.
Amity: You hear that?
King: It sounds like a demon hurt or in peril
Luz: Then that's where she is.
The group flew over to the sound of the roar.
We cut to the ground as we see two bipedal turtle demoms, King Tortise and Queen Tortise. They had charcoal grey skin with green shells and tusks, the biggest difference was that King Tortise was slightly taller and had a horn on his head and Queen tortise lacked a horn. With them were three babies and they were all standing in front of a rock pile as one of their babies was caved in, trapped and making wimpering sounds. His parents were standing there in worry and struggling to get the rocks out of the way. But then they heard someone approach from behind and saw Seraphina. King Tortise roared at her thinking she was going to attack.
Seraphina: Easy King Tortise. I'm not your enemy. I just want to help.
King Tortise still roared on edge. She placed her staff down to show she was no threat and slowly approached him with her hand reaching to him. She formed a spell circle and small wave came to him. He calmed down and she placed her hand on his head.
Seraphina: Let me help.
Seraphina set her attention on the rock pile and formed a spell circle. Using her magic she levitated the rocks and moved them away, allowing the trapped infant to escape. He approached his mother nuzzling to her. Queen Tortise was relieved her baby was okay as King Tortise also came to check his son. After reconnecting with his parent the baby tortise went to Seraphina and nuzzled her. She smiled and kneeled down petting him.
Seraphina: You're very welcome little one. You be more careful next time okay.
Baby tortise nodded and went back to his parents and siblings and walked away as Seraphina watched them leave. Luz and the others finally find her.
King: Is that her?
Luz: Yeah it is. Hey! Hello! Seraphina!
Seraphina turned around and looked up and smiled as she saw Luz and her friends landing and approaching her.
Seraphina: Oh it's you again, Luz and Amity.
Luz: Seraphina. Are we glad to see you.
Seraphina: I'm happy to see you too. Are these more friends of yours?
Christa: Hi, I'm Christa.
King: And I'm King.
Seraphina: Oh.
Seraphina approached King and picked him up examining him.
King: Uh what are you doing?
Seraphina: Sorry it's just, you're a new one. What kind of demon are you?
King: I uh, don't really know myself.
Luz: We're still looking into that, but I'll explain more later. Listen, so the other day after you saved us, Lilith told me about you.
Seraphine then frowned and placed King down.
Seraphina: Is that so. What did she say?
Luz: Well, she told us how you and her dated and the times you two spent together.
Seraphina: Yes, until she broke up with me in the worse way ever. Did she tell you that?
Luz: Well...I mean yes, but it's not how you thought it was.
Seraphina: I don't believe her. She's lying to you.
Luz: No what I mean is, what if there was more to it than you thought?
Seraphina: What do you mean?
Luz: Well, she said she wants to tell you herself.
Seraphina: Oh now she wants to talk after 15 years? Well you can tell her it's too late for that.
Luz: Seraphina please she's really wants to see you.
Seraphina: But I'm not sure if I want to see her.
Luz: But she misses you.
Amity: It's true, she went on and on about all the times you two spent together and how you were everything to her.
Seraphina: If I was, then why would she hurt me like that?
Luz: She hasn't told you everything of what happened. She feels bad for what she did and after seeing you the other night, your the next person she wants to make things right with. She messed up a lot a things in the past and is trying to fix it.
Christa: Can't you give her another chance and let her make things right with you?
Seraphina listened to what they said. Her relationship with Lilith was complicated. There was a time she once loved her and loved every moment being with her, but then the break up came. She remembered her first thought was hating her, but then as she thought about it now, she felt something was off about Lilith. The way she acted, her reasons of breaking up and the fact she got her name wrong. People would often say her name wrong, but LIlith always said it right. She wasn't sure what was going on, but if Lilith really meant on making things right with her, maybe she should.
Seraphina: ( sighs) Okay. I'll hear her out.
Luz: Oh great! Come on we can take you to her.
Meanwhile.
Lilith and Eda were still waiting for the others to return. Lilith was still looking at her note, reciting on what to say.
Eda: Lily relax, you don't need that.
Lilith: No, I need to say the right words to her. This is Seraphina we're talking about.
Eda: I know, just tell her what you have from the heart than in your brain.
Lilith: I know it's just... I'm so nervous. I really hope this works.
Eda: Just keep it cool. You'll do fine.
Selene: Oh how sweet.
They heard Selene's voice and turned and saw her.
Selene: I don't think I ever seen you two bond like this before.
Lilith: Selene.
Selene: It's been a while Lilith. I came back after hearing you betrayed the Emperor. And of course I'm glad to see you as well Eda the Owl Lady.
Eda: Hate to burst your bubble, but I'm not really happy to see you.
Selene: Oh save it, I'm not here for you, but for your sister. Lilith Clawthorne for the crimes you've committed against Emperor Belos, I'm turning you in.
Eda got some glyphs ready as did Lilith ready to fight.
Selene: But before I do that I do have a question for you. What is that form you can take?
Lilith: Form?
Selene: That harpy form your sister took. Is that part of the curse? How do you do it?
Eda's eyes widened and looked over at Lilith.
Lilith: I don't...
Eda: You leave her out of it. I'm the one who discovered it.
Selene: Is that so. So tell me, how did you find that power?
Eda: It's not easy to explain and I'd never tell you. I'm not letting you take my sister.
Selene: Really? You two are going to fight me. You don't even possess real magic.
Eda: No, but we can still fight.
Selene: Really, than this might be more interesting. Wouldn't you say boys?
Then something shot from behind and a chain wrapped around Eda's neck and pulled back.
Lilith: Edalyn.
Eda was gasping for air as she was being pulled and saw it was Babalou who shot the chain from the small cannon attached to his arm and pulling her. With his other arm he formed his hook.
Babalou: Hello Owl Lady. Remember us?
Babalou was pulling her closer, but Eda got out an ice glyph and placed it on his chain, turning it into ice and breaking it, freeing her.
Eda: ( panting) Not...not you guys again.
Scourge: That's right! We're back baby and in the flesh!
Karasniper: ( clears throat) Yes, Emperor Belos has hired us to take you down. Why not turn into that owl beast of yours?
Karasniper creates a spell cirlce which forms his rifle and pumps it.
Karasniper: I love hunting down exotic demons to mount on my wall.
Babalou: You, your sister and your human turned us in and stole all our hard earned work. But now, we can finally have our revenge.
Babalou with his other arm formed his arm into his sabre.
Babalou: I'm going to enjoy this.
Babalour lunged at Eda and tried slashing her. She dodged and formed and used a fire glyph at him. He dodged and formed a spell circle with his sabre and fired a yellow beam at her. Eda dodged but then she almost got shot by Karasniper with his rifle. He fired again but she dodged and used a construction glyph and placed in on the ground. A stone pillar was coming towards Karasniper but he saved by Scourge who punched down the pillar and then he punched the ground forming a siesmic wave coming at her and pushing her back.
Eda: Shoot, I can't turn into my harpy form if I'm not focused.
All Eda could do was dodged and occaisionally attack with what glyphs she had, but was struggling taking the three at the same time.
Lilith: Edalyn!
Lilith tried to go help her, but Selene reached her arm out, turning into a snake wrapped up Lilith and pulled her towards her.
Selene: You're not going anywhere.
Selene threw Lilith at tree.
Selene: If you don't want your sister to get killed, tell me how you found that harpy power.
Lilith: I don't know!
Selene: Do you think I'm a fool. When will you stop playing dumb with your game. Just like your secret.
Lilith: You mean regarding me cursing my sister?
Selene: So you admit it.
Lilith: Yes, how did you even...
Selene: I was there that night.
Flashback long time ago
Selene: ( narrating) I was at the night market to look for exotic ingredients to experiment with my potions. That was until I bumped into you. My shop was right next to yours and I noticed the scroll you purchased, some kind of special spell I thought. The next day as I sat with audience for your duel to watch you and Eda duel. But when Eda forfieted, at first I thought it was somekind of mind control spell, but then she turned into that Owl Beast and I thought this just got more interesting.
Flashback ends.
Selene: You stole my title to be Coven head, so I decided to get under your skin and make you crack for what you did.
Lilith: What did you even gain from it?
Selene: To see you suffer of course.
Lilith: What did I ever do to make you hate me so much?
Selene: You were born.
Selene formed a spell cirle and fired a wave of energy blasts at Lilith. She dodged and got a fire glyph and threw a wave of fire at her. Selene waved her staff and blew the fire away. The eyes of Kaa on her staff lit up and fired it's eye beams at Lilith.
Selene: Is that all you got? I'm not even trying.
Lilith got a combo glyph with a fire and ice. She used it and created a mist around the area, she hid in the mist and tried to sneak up on Selene.
Selene: Hmmm, I have to say not too bad.
But then she swung her staff behind her and hit Lilith, knocking down on the floor and making her drop her note.
Selene: But not good enough.
Then she notices the note on the floor and takes it.
Selene: What's this?
Lilith: No, don't read that!
But then Selene reached her free arm turning into a snake arm at Lilith and wrapped her up as she read the note.
Selene: Seraphina, 15 years ago I hurt you. I know you're not too happy to see me or you may not like me anymore, but I'v always cared for you. There's something I need to get off my chest and I really want to make things right with you. ( stops reading) Oh ho no. Don't tell me, are you still not over your little girlfriend? I thought I got you away from her for good?
Lilith: I'm going to make things right with her after what you did.
Selene: What I did?
Lilith: Yes, you ruined my relationship with her. You drove her away from me.
Selene: Really, I drove her away? Lilith you might have forgotten, but while yes I posed as you and made her break up with you, but I never stopped you from going after her. I said you can go get her, if you told her the truth of your secret. But you didn't. You stood there and let her go.
Selene threw Lilith to the ground.
Selene: So really, you're the one who broke up with her. You were too scared to tell her the truth.
Lilith: I was, but...
Selene: But what, you're going to tell her now. Then what? Do you really think she'd take you back after what you did? Let's see how she feels that you cursed your own sister just to get in. And then you hunted her down and turned her into the Emperor to get petrified. She wouldn't take an awful person like you back.
Lilith looked down as her body shook.
Lilith: No, no I'm not like that anymore.
Selene: Oh stop it, I've spent years working with you and many people might see you as a wise, smart and maybe nice witch, but I know the real you. You're a liar, a cheater and a coward who will sneak her way to get what she wants.
Lilith: Stop!
Selene: You know what Lilith, you and I are the same. We both want to be the best of the best and will do whatever it takes to gain the power and respect we deserve. However, you grew soft, always went to see your friends and family. My parents never took me seriously and what I wanted to persue. So that's why...let's just say I sent them down to hell where they belong so I'd inherit the fortune I needed to enhance my education.
Lilith eyes widened hearing of what Selene did.
Selene: But I don't need loved ones to keep me going or to back me up. You, you seem to rely on them. Seraphina will never take you back. Not after what you did.
Lilith: Stop it.
Selene: I thought I was cruel at times, but you...you're a monster.
Lilith: No! I'm not!
Lilith was stressing out and began to grow feathers.
Selene: She hates you for what you did and that's how she'll always feel about you.
Lilith: STOP!
Lilith last word let out and inhuman roar and transformed into her Raven beast form. She roared and set her attention to Selene.
Selene: Oh that's a new one.
Eda: Lilith!
Eda pushed Babaloue and Scourge and tried to run to help her. But then she felt the ground shake and out from the ground was a new choju, Doratkishim. This one was a biped choju with a blue body with the exception of the back, tail and head which were orange. The tail was a bit small and stubby but had a long stinger on it. His hands were blue large pincer claws and the head had a raptorial bird beak with glowing light blue eyes and a unicorn horn on it's head. It roared ( stock Vakishim roar) as it rose out of the ground and set it's attention to Eda.
Eda: What the.
Doratkishim roared and aimed it's claws at Eda, it opened it up and fired small red missile like projectiles at her. Eda got hit and as Doratkishim roared and tried to slam into her. She got out of the way but she was really in trouble now without extra help.
Selene: About time Mikela sent out his new choju to aid me. Doratkishim.
Doratkishim turned to her.
Selene: ( motions to Lilith) Deal with her.
Doratkishim roared at Raven beast Lilith. Raven beast Lilith turned and snarled at him. She ran at him, but he reached his claws out and fire shot out from both his claws like a flamethrower. Raven beast Lilith stepped back as she got burnt a little by his flames. Doratkishim opened his mouth and fired more missile projectiles at her. Raven beast Lilith was hit and fell back. She got up and lunged at him, biting into his arm. Doratkishim roared and hit her head repeatedly with his other arm.
Meanwhile
Luz, Seraphina and the others were still flying to where they were supposed to meet. But then they heard Doratkishim's faint roar.
Christa: What was that?
King: A demon.
Seraphina: Not a demon I've heard before.
Luz: It's coming from...where Eda and Lilith are.
Amity: Let's hurry over there.
They flew over there as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile
Doratkishim kicked Raven beast Lilith down. Raven beast Lilith got back and clawed it's chest. It roared from the pain and hit her across the head. He then fired more missile projectiles at her. Raven beast Lilith fell to the ground as Selene used her magic to create red ropes to bind her.
Selene: Look at you now Lilith. I never thought I'd see you at your lowest. A beast.
Raven beast Lilith snarled at her struggling to get out as Selene kicked her across the face.
Selene: Don't give me that attitude!
Back in the sky, the others finally arrive.
Luz: It's a fight.
Christa: Eda's in trouble, but where's Lilith.
Then they looked over and saw Selene talking to Raven beast Lilith.
Selene: Just look at you now Lilith. I can't believe I'm seeing you like this.
Seraphina: Is that...Lilith?
Selene: Stop growling at me. You know I was doing you a favor when I pretened to be you and dumped that pathetic animal catcher girlfriend of yours.
Seraphina gasped and eyes widened. Did she hear that right. Selene was the one who pretended to be Lilith. This whole time it was her. So Lilith was innocent then she thought, but her anger started to boil. Selene messed with her love life and it looked like she was tormenting Lilith. She yelled and rushed down there.
Luz: Seraphina!
But before they could go get her, they went over to help Eda, who was on the ground tired as the Terrible Trio were slowly coming at her.
Babalou: It was great getting back at you Eda. But now it's time to end this.
Babalou raised his saber.
Eda: Pfft, what are you going to do cut my head off? My body parts are detachable.
Eda demonstrated this by removing one of her hands.
Scourge: Oooh, nice trick.
Babalou: Then we'll cut you to pieces and separate your body parts.
Eda: Okay didn't think that.
Babalou was about to strick her, but then he and the others were knocked down Luz, Amity, King and Christa who flew in and knocked them down.
Eda: Took you guys long enough.
Luz: Are you okay Eda?
Eda: I'm fine, but Lilith she's in trouble.
They looked over at Selene who kicked her across the face again.
Selene: Oh you have no idea how much I wanted to do this.
Seraphina: Selene stop!
Selene heard Seraphina's voice and turned and saw her looking serious. The others joined her and stood by her.
Eda: About time you decided to come Sera.
Seraphina: Nice to see you as well Eda.
Selene: Oh look who it is. So you actually came.
Seraphina: What have you done to Lilith?
Selene: I had nothing to do with this. This is all the curse.
Seraphina: Curse? But I thought Eda...
Eda: It's a long story. I'll tell you about it later.
Selene: This is between me and her. I suggest you all leave while you can.
Luz: We're not letting you take Lilith.
Selene looked over at Luz.
Selene: Ah, so you're the human I've heard so much about. We meet at last.
Luz: And you're Selene Crimson I take it. The fifth member of the Legion of Five.
Selene: Precicsly, and good things I hope. ( sets her attention to Christa and Amity) And I also see two familiar faces with you. You know what, seeing how I see two other major targets, this will surly boost my status. That's it, you're all coming with me!
Selene stretched her arm into a snake arm at Luz.
Luz: She has snakes for arms?
Christa: Luz look out!
Christa punched the ground making an rock pillar rise up and knock Selene's snake arm away.
Luz: She has snakes for arms!
Selene retracted her arm which turned back to normal and rubbed it.
Selene: I see you're very easily amused. Doratkishim, Trio take care of them.
Doratkishim roared and the Terrible Trio joined him as they set their attentions on the group. They were keeping them busy as Selene as dragging Lilith away.
Christa: She's taking Lilith.
Seraphina: I won't let her. Can you guys handle them?
Eda: I think we can manage.
Seraphina: Good, she's mine.
Seraphina ran towards Doratkishim, his horn glowed an fired blue beam at her, but she jumped up high and over him as she ran over to Selene? Doratkishim roared and was about to go to her, until he felt a vine wrap around his neck and was pulled back by Christa.
Christa: No one lets him get to her.
Eda: Guys I think this would be easier if I was Harpy Eda, but I need a moment to concentrate.
Luz: Go do so. We'll hold them off.
Eda moved away so she could talk to the Owl Beast while the others took on the terrible trio.
Karasiper: It seems we're not enough for them. Dorodoros!
Ten dorodoros appeared with their daggers ready. Luz and Amity each took on a few, once they put them down Babalou came at them. He tried slashing Luz as all she could do was dodge his attacks. He was about to strike her again until Amity threw an abomination goo ball at his sabre arm, covering it. She then formed a wave of abomination spikes and threw them at him. Babalou formed a spell circle shielded himself and formed another one and shot an energy beam at her. As Amity dodged, Luz placed an plant glyph on the ground and vines formed and wrapped him up. Babalou cut his way through with his hook but once he was freed, he didn't see Amity running at him with her abomination fist and punched him in the face knocking him out.
A group of Dorodoros were coming at Christa, yet she used her wind powers and formed a small tornado, trapped them and blew them away. A few of them were also coming at King, but he easily defeated them using his sonic wave. But then he heard a gun pump and saw Karasniper aiming at Christa.
King: Christa, behind you!
Thanks to King's warning, Christa turned and formed an ice wall as Karasniper fired at her with his rifle. He fired again at her, but then King jumped at him at this head, making him fall back and losing his gun. Karasniper threw King aside and was about to take it back until a fire ball came at his hand and burnt him and another fire ball at his rifle destroying it. He looked over and saw Christa.
Karansiper: Damn you!
Karasniper formed a machete and swung it at her. Christa blocked by using water and then freezing it the moment the blade touched it. Karasniper's eyes widened and tried pulling it out, but then she punched him in the gut with a stone pillar she shot from her hand and making him hit a tree.
King: Wow you've really got some skill there.
Christa: Thank you, I've been practicing.
Scourge: Alright my turn.
Scourge approached the two and cracked his knuckles. King got in front of him.
King: Stay back.
Scourge: Pffft hahahahaha! You again. Oh what you gonna scratch me to death with your little claws? Wait no, your going to kill me with your cuteness. Oh I'm so scared. Hahahaha! That's not gonna work this time, goofy goober!
King: Excuse me.
Christa: Oh you should not have said that.
Scourge continued to laugh at King who looked mad and let out a sonic wave at Scourge, sending him flying into a boulder.
King: Ha! Who's the goofy goober now!
Luz: Uh guys! Little help.
The two looked over and saw Luz and Amity fighting Doratkishim. Amity formed an abomintion to fight it. Doratkishim tried punching it, but his fists got caught in it's body. But this gave him the advantage as it fired it's projectiles into it's body making it explode. Luz using an water glyph formed a wave of water and tried pushing it away, which barely did and did the same with a air glyph, but the wind did nothing. Doratkishim opened it's mouth and fired missile projectiles at the two. Amity blocked with abomination goo shield as Luz with an ice shield ran at him with a few fire glyphs. She got close and placed them on his body. The fire glyphs explode on impact. Amity formed her fists into abomination fists and ran at him, punching him multiple times in the body. The punches pushed him back a bit, but then he hit Amity with one of his claws, knocking her down. He was going to attack her again until he felt Luz slam something on his back. He felt two fire glyphs ingnite onto his back and he turned around to Luz and fired his missile projectiles from his pincers. Amity formed a large spell circle and a large abomination appeared behind him and engulfed him in the goo. She tried to keep him trapped, but it didn't last long as his horn beam broke through and freed him. Doratkishim angered was coming at the two until King got in front and let out a sonic wave, pushing him and falling on his back. Christa formed a wave of water and pushed him further away and then placed her hand on the ground, turning the water into ice so he could keep slipping as he got up.
Luz: This thing is tough. I'm not sure if our attacks are powerful enough
King: Uh Christa, maybe you could do that thing of yours. You know where you go ape on people.
Christa: I don't know how that works King. It just happens when I'm really upset.
The ice melted away and Doratkishim finally got up. It roared and was coming at them. But then he was pushed down by Harpy Eda.
Harpy Eda: Don't worry, Mama Eda's here!
Doratkishim got back up and roared at Eda. It reached his arms out and shot fire from his claws. Eda flew up swooped down at him. She began punching him multiple times, until he pushed her off and hit her across the head. Eda was on the ground and then he kicked her. He was about to do it again until she caught his foot and pushed him down. She grabbed him and lifted him up and threw him aside. Doratkishim got back up and opened it's mouth, firing it's projectiles at her but Eda again flew up as the two continued to fight.
As all this was happening Selene was dragging Raven Beast Lilith away.
Selene: Come along Lilith. It's time you paid for your crimes.
Seraphina: Selene!
Selene looked and saw Seraphina looking at her dead serious.
Seraphina: Drop her.
Selene: Ah, Lilith's little girl friend. What was your name again. Sera, Seraphine? I swear I'm not even trying to get it wrong.
Seraphina: It was you all along! You made us break up. Admit it!
Selene: Alright fine. Yes, that was me disguised as Lilith that day.
Seraphina: Why though?
Selene: Simply revenge for ruining my chances to be Coven head. So in return I decided to make her suffer and what better way than to destroy her love life.
Seraphina: I knew there was something off about her that day. On one hand, I'm happy to know it wasn't her. On the other, what you did was unforgivable.
Selene: So? What are you going to do about it?
Seraphina let out a yell and came at Selene, hitting her in the stomach with her staff and flying into a tree.
Selene: ( silent chuckles) So that's how it's going to be huh? Very well.
Selene formed a large spell circle and out came black cobra snakes strechting at her and spitting out venom at her. Seraphina swung her staff and destroyed the snakes. She formed a large spell circle and through a large energy blast that took the form a tiger and even roared. Selene jumped up to avoid the attack and streched her snake arm at Seraphina. She jumped up and ran up her arm and swung her staff across Selene's face. The two kept fighting in the air as they kept teleporting from side to side trying to hit each other. Selene appeared behind Seraphina and hits her from the back as she fell into the ground. She fell onto her back and Selene came charging down at her and slammed her staff into Seraphina's stomach. Seraphina grunted and coughed up a little blood as Selene kept digging into her stomach and let out an electric shock into her. Seraphina kept yelling in pain, but her nailes began to glow and swiped them at Selene letting out a five red waves from her fingers at Selene, cutting her face. Selene got off of Seraphina as she got up, gasping for air and holding her stomach as Selene moved her hand off her cheek and showing her scratched cheek with blood dripping down.
Selene: That was quite a dirty trick don't you think.
Seraphina: You're one to talk.
Selene: But when you think about it, this fight is pointless. Why are you even fighting for her?
Seraphina: Because that's someone I love you have there. I won't let you hurt her.
Selene: You really care for this? This monster here?
Seraphina: She's not a monster. You are.
Selene: Oh really, then she hasn't told you her little secret have you.
Seraphina: What are you talking about?
Selene: Have you ever wondered who cursed Eda? Perhaps someone she was to face off? Maybe someone close to her? Her opponent?
Seraphina let out a small gasp.
Seraphina: No.
Selene: ( smirks) Yes, your precious Lilith is not as innocent as you think. She's the real villain here, not me.
Seraphina: I will hear it from her of what happened. As for you, I'm taking you down.
Selene: Unfortunalty I'm getting tired of this. Doratkishim, deal with her!
Doratkishim heard Selene and pushed Eda off by firing it's horn beam at her, knocking her back.
Harpy Eda: Hey, I'm not through with you.
Harpy Eda and the others tried to go after them, but they were cut off again by the Terrible Trio as they fought the group to keep them away from Doratkishim. Doratkishim roared at Seraphina and came at her. She turned but was hit by Doratkishim. She got back up as his claws shot fire at her.
Seraphina: Stop it! She's manipulating you.
Seraphina formed a spell cirlce at him to soothe him, but it had no effect at all as he fired his projectiles at her from his claws.
Seraphina: What?
Selene: You really think you can tame him? Doratkishim is a choju made by Mikela. He's made of dark magic, you beast keepers can't tame these kind of demons.
Doratkishim roared and fired it's missile projectiles at her from his claws. Seraphina nearly got hit but he kept firing at her from both his claws and mouth and even used his horn beam. Seraphina was on the ground and looked hurt as Doratkishim slowly approached her to finisher her off. But she got back on her feet and looked at him.
Seraphina: I'm not done yet. I didn't think I had to use this.
Seraphina closed her eyes and brought her hands together. She formed a large spell circle around her. The spell circle then merged with her as a purple magic aura formed around her. She began to grow claws on her hands, feet and fangs in her teeth. She crouched down and got onto all fours.
Seraphina: Feral mode!
Seraphina let out a yell which was mixed with the sounds of a lion. She ran towards Doratkishim in an animalistic way and even the aura around her took the form of a Lioness. She slashed across his chest, the slash however was much bigger as Doratkishim stepped back once he was hit.
Selene: What?
Luz: Whoa.
Harpy Eda: Yeah haven't seen her do that in forever.
Doratkishim fired its projectiles again at Seraphina. She ran through him as he kept missing her. She then jammed her clawed hand into his stomach. He roared in pain as she the grabbed hold of his head and threw him away. He was about to get up but then she formed more energy into her hands and slashed the air, letting out a wave of red slash marks with a wider range at Doratkishim. Doratkishim let out a dying roar as he fell to the ground and explodes.
Selene: No, how is that possible?
Seraphina immedietly set her attention to Selene. Selene kept dodging her attacks, but got back and fired a barage of purple fire balls at her. Seraphina got close to her and slashed Selene at her waist. Selene stepped back as she held her waist and blood stained her dress and her hand. Before she could react, Seraphina formed a blue energy ball into her hand and blasted at Selene. She was sent flying into a tree.
Selene: ( panting) She's insane. She's fighting like...like an animal.
Seraphina roared again as she formed more energy into her hands and fired another wave red slash marks at Selene. She was hit by the blast and before the smoke cleared up, Selene was seen on her staff flying away. The majority of her dress was torn, but lost the top exposing her upper body naked. Her hair was down as it obscured her breasts. She looked back at Seraphina as she flew off.
Selene: I was not expecting that. It seems I really underestimated you.
Seraphina: Come back here and fight coward!
Selene: This time I'll let you and Lilith go. But the next time we meet, I won't be going easy on you Seraphina. I will remember that name this time and I will be back for you Lilith!
With that Selene flew away as the Terrible Trio saw her leave and followed after her
Scourge: Whoa, hey boss! Don't leave us behind.
The three of them teleported away. Seraphina calmed down and turned back to normal as the group met back with her.
Luz: Whoa, Seraphina that was so cool what you did.
Christa: Yeah I mean that, that was just amazing.
Seraphina: Thank you. I tend not to use my feral mode unless absolutely necessary. It can make me a bit intense.
But then they heard Raven beast Lilith's roar. She was freed and was about to attack them, until Christa formed plant vines from the ground and held her down.
Christa: Sorry Lilith.
Seraphina: Lilith. I don't understand what's going on? How is she like this?
Harpy Eda: It's the curse she shared with me.
Seraphina: Eda is it true? Did she curse you?
Harpy Eda: ( nods) Yeah she did. But after bailing me and helping Luz out at Belos's castle, she's been trying to make things right and sharing the curse is one of them. But right now she needs help.
Harpy Eda took out an elixer from her hair.
Harpy Eda: Once she drinks this, she'll be back to normal.
Seraphina: Wait let me.
Harpy Eda: I don't know. She's not exactly in a good mood.
Seraphina: I need to do this. Let me talk to her please.
Eda saw the pleading look on her face, agrees and hands her the elixer.
Harpy Eda: Okay, be careful. Oh and if you guys do talk things out, please don't hold whatever she did to me against her. I've forgiven her and she's really trying. She's suffering enough and needs our support.
Seraphina nods and slowly approaches Rave beast Lilith who roared and growled at her.
Seraphina: Lilith, it's me. It's Seraphina. Don't you remember me?
Raven beast Lilith just responds with a snarl.
Seraphina: Lilith I need you to relax. I only want to help you.
She still didn't calm down and growled.
Seraphina: Please just let me help.
Seraphina leaned down to her but not too close where she would get attack.
Seraphina: Lilith, I still love you.
Raven beast Lilith stopped growling. She heard Seraphina and regained part of her humanity. She began to wimper and cry. Seraphina placed her hand on her cheek wiping the tears and her other hand stroking her head.
Seraphina: It's okay. Everything is going to be okay.
Seraphina finally gave her the elixer and Lilith finally turned back to normal. Lilith's eyes opened and realized she was in Seraphina's arms and welcoming her with a smile.
Seraphina: ( smiles) Hi Lilith.
Lilith: Seraphina!
Lilith hugged Seraphina tight and buried her face into her chest. Seraphina hugged her tight as well and rubbed her back as she could here Lilith's muffled cries.
Lilith: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Seraphina: Shh, it's okay now. I'm here.
Later that night.
Everyone was back at the house resting up after an intense day and Eda just drank her elixer turning back to normal.
Eda: Phew man what a day.
King: I can't believe we had to watch you eat eight rats on the way here.
Eda: I'm sorry, you don't think I find it gross too? But if I don't fill in my end of the deal, I'll turn into the owl beast instantly.
Christa: Well I'm glad things turned out okay at the end and Lilith and Seraphina are talking now.
Hooty: Aw, I really wanted to meet Lulu's gf.
Luz: You'll get a chance next time Hooty. But we really wanted to give her some time alone.
Amity: Well, I really have to get back. My parents are going to be at it with me if I'm home late.
Luz: Amity hey, sorry you had to get involved in this today and for our lousy date the other night.
Amity: Luz it's fine. I'm glad I can help anyway. And hey, how about we start over on our date?
Luz: Y-Yeah uh...how about tomorrow Friday night.
Amity: Oh, I'm busy Friday night. But I'm free Sataturday.
Luz: Okay better. Saturday night.
Amity: Okay. See you then.
Amity placed a kiss on her cheek, making Luz blush.
Amity: ( waves) Goodnight guys.
Amity leaves as Luz watches her leave with a lovestruck smile on her face.
Luz: Oh...guys have I ever said how awesome Amity is?
Eda: Yes Luz.
King: You practically talk about her every day.
Christa: We can even here you in your sleep dreaming about her.
Luz: Ah! You guys know about that?!
Meanwhile.
Lilith and Seraphina were sitting together on the top of a tree.
Seraphina: It's such a beautiful night. I especially enjoy listening to the sounds of nature.
Lilith: Yeah it is.
Seraphina: Lilith you sure you're okay?
Lilith: Yes, I'm fine. You're the one who got hurt.
Seraphina: It's just a few scrapes and bruises. You know me, I'm a tough witch.
Lilith: ( chuckles) Yes you are.
The two laughed for a moment. But then they stopped as Seraphina started their real conversation.
Seraphina: Lilith, I want the truth. Please tell me what happened.
Lilith looked down and took a deep breath. It's time she told Seraphina about everything.
Lilith: Seraphina, the person who broke up with you that day wasn't me. It was Selene.
Seraphina: I know that part, but I don't get why.
Lilith: Then I guess you should know. Seraphina, I've done something terrible. For years Selene has been trying to get me to crack or confess of something I did. I was the one who cursed my sister.
Lilith looked over at Seraphina, who didn't look at her but faced the ground. Seraphina knew from Eda, but wanted to hear from Lilith if she would say the same thing.
Seraphina: Why? Lilith why would you do such a thing?
Lilith: I know it was selfish of me. But back then, being in the Emperor's coven was my life long dream. But Edalyn is so much more powerful than me. Seraphina, I was young and arrogant back then. But I didn't know the permant effects it would have on her. I spent everyday regretting what I did.
Seraphina: And you never told anyone about this.
Lilith: Not until several years later. First I told Edalyn, then Matti and my mother. Emperor Belos told me he could help remove the curse if I got her to join. I brought her in but he didn't, he lied to me so I helped her escape. After I quite the Emperor's Coven,shared the curse with her with her so she would keep it stable. I now share the curse and lost my magic.
Seraphina: How come you never told me?
Lilith: Because you were also one of the few people I couldn't risk losing. I lost contact with my sister for years because she ran away. Mother was too busy looking and trying to cure her. When I told Matti, she was furious with me for what I did and almost broke ties with me. I was too scared to tell you. What do you have to say about it?
Seraphina: Well, I can't lie when I say I'm disappointed of what you did. Seriously that is the most foolish and selfish thing you could ever done.
Lilith looked away and frowned.
Seraphina: But, Eda told me she has nothing against you anymore. If she's okay, then I guess I am too. But you know, I knew there was something off about you when I thought you broke up with me. You were acting pretty out of character and you said my name wrong. You never get my name wrong.
Lilith: Hmph, Selene may have succeeded looking like me, but sure failed on her acting.
Seraphina: Ha, ha yeah. She definitly failed on that. But Lilith, was the reason why you didn't come after me was because you were scared to tell me the truth?
Lilith: That and also I felt you could do so much better. I didn't deserve someone as amazing as you.
Seraphina: Of course you do. Lilith, I'm sorry I was cold towards you the other night or that I never checked on you again to know what was really wrong. I acted that way because I was unsure if you really dumped me.
Lilith: Seraphina you have nothing to apologize for. You have every right reason to be mad at me.
Lilith looked down and covered her eyes and her body began to shake.
Lilith: Seraphina, lying and hurting you was one of the biggest regrets in my life. I still cared about you, even when you stopped liking me. All I can say is I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what I've done. I've done so many awful things that, I don't even know how I can live with these things haunting me.
Seraphina: Lilith.
Serphina pulled Lilith into a hug trying to soothe her.
Seraphina: Lilith...
Lilith: You know, I really feel at peace being in your arms. My time at the coven was hard because I didn't have many loved ones by my side anymore. Everyone there tried to overthrow me and stab me in the back. It was hard, but being back with my sister, my friends and you, I feel more comfortable.
Seraphina: I'm sorry you had to endure that. I've been so focused on myself, I never considered your perspective.
Seraphina lets go of her as the two look at each other.
Lilith: Seraphina, I'm not asking for us to be back together, but I want to make things right with you. The time we spent together before were the best times of my life. I want at least be friends with you again.
Seraphina: Lilith... I don't think I can settle being friends with you.
Lilith frowned thinking Seraphina still didn't want to be associated with her. But then Seraphina grabbed her shoulders and pulled her in for a kiss. Lilith was caught off guard but held onto her and kissed her back. The two locked onto each other for another moment unitl finally letting go.
Seraphina: I'd rather we be girlfriends again, if your available that is. I really want to make up lost time with you.
Lilith smiled and placed her hand on her cheek.
Lilith: I'd like that actually.
Seraphina: Just promise you'll be honest with me. No more lies and no more secrets.
Lilith: I promise.
Lilith hugged Seraphina and she hugged her back, both happy to be back together.
Lilith: I love you Seraphina.
Seraphina: I love you too Lilith.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. I had fun making this one and wanted to do this just give Lilith some time to shine. Also good news, the Owl House and Amphibia will be back again in one week. I'm not sure if I said this, but whatever 2B has planned, I will try to fit whatever episodes there into here. Maybe some but not all, because keep in mind, whatever the show has planned, my story isn't going to follow 100% because of Christa, the new lore and how the story is told.
