Chapter 39: The Island of Monsters Part 2

The group were sitting together on the cliff view spot eating lunch. Luz sat with Christa, her palisman Howl and King as Lilith was with Hooty, Seraphina and her pallisman Kilala.
Seraphina: My Luz, you really know how to make great picnic food.
Luz: Thanks, I mean I always tried to give the best picnics whenever I take Amity out.
King: So you're saying to make sure this was good you pictured us as Amity?
Luz: I didn't say that. I can things perfect for anyone.
Christa: ( chuckles) Hey so how's Armin? Is he okay?
Seraphina: ( motioning at the lake) He's just resting up. He took a bit of a beating but he's okay.
Lilith: It's so nice to be out here with all of you. Defintly glad to be here with you Seraphina as our tour guide.
Hooty: Yeah you're great at this Siri! Hoot! Hoot!
Seraphina: Thank you Hooty. Oh, after this I want to show you something else. I really want to show you the nest of Dorats.
But then they heard the sound of a jet or plane flying by. They looked up and saw Agiras flying over them.
Luz: That's Agiras right?
Seraphina: Yes, he's probably about to go eat.
King: Uh not us right?
Seraphina: Don't worry he's a fish eater.
Meanwhile
We cut to Selene and Karasniper flying on Battra getting close to the island.
Selene: There it is.
Karansiper: Finally. Time to stretch and get some excercise. Wait, something's coming towards us.
The two saw Agiras flying at them roaring. Battra roared back at him.
Karasniper: Agiras! An ace flyer beast.
Selene: ( forming her staff) Get on!
Karasniper got onto the back of Selene's staff as she jumped off of Battra. The two monsters enganged in aeriel battle. They were flying at each, clawing and biting one another. Agiras let out a roar that made sonic sound waves. This pushed Battra as he flew off and Agiras chased after him.
Karasniper: AH! That giant bat is losing.
Selene: Give him a minute.
Agiras kept chasing Battra. Battra did a sumersault and got behind Agiras. He then shot his laser at him. He missed a couple times until he got his back. Agiras roared in pain and turned around to him. He let out a sonic wave but Battra shot his laser right through and avoided the attack. The laser cut Agiras's right wing off and the demon roared as it fell into the boiling sea, burning and drowing in the water.
Selene: Hmph, see? Battra is more than capable of fighting off these monsters.
Karasniper: Yes, but let me get next beast we find.
Selene: After we do my tasks.
The two flew over to the island and landed as Battra followed and landed as well.
Selene: You remain here Battra. I'll give a call if you are needed.
Battra kneeled to her and roared.
Selene: Now then, shall we.
Karansiper made a spell circle and formed his rifle.
Karasniper: You lead the way, I'll handle the beasts.
The two ventured into the jungle. Selene looked around the area as Karasniper looked around. Selene approached a tree as she ripped off the bark.
Selene: Ah, the bark of a shroku tree.
Selene looked around and saw a black and purple lizard coming out of a whole about the size of a squirrel. She grabbed it by the tail as it struggled to break free. It detached it's own tail and dug back into the ground. Selene held the tail as it kept squirming.
Selene: The tail of lizaflos. Ah.
Selene saw a patch of mushrooms near a ledge of a canyon.
Selene: Matango spores, this just what I...
Karasniper: Look out!
Karasniper pulled Selene back as the ledge gave up and crumbled into the canyon. Selene shook her arm off him and glard.
Selene: Let go of me! What was that for?
Karasniper: You're welcome. I just saved you from being eaten alive.
Selene: What are you talking?
Karasniper: Look. That's the lair of Arachnus.
The two looked down and didn't see anything, just a dirty canyon.
Selene: I don't see anything.
Karasniper: Keep watching.
The two saw a large praying mantis demon coming, about the size of an bull. It took a mistep and fell into the canyon. Then in the center came out the large trapdoor spider demon. It was black with yellow stripes with some fuzz around it like a tarantula. It's eyes were a glowing purple with funnel web spider mandibles and it was twice the mantis size. It roared ( stock Kumonga roar) shot it's web at the mantis. Unlike regular spiders, this one spat web from the mandibles at the mantis. The mantis was caught in web as Arachnus approached the mantis as it roared. He took the web and dragged the mantis back into it's hole.
Karasniper: You see? You would have been it's next meal. I heard that thing can suck your insides out of your body.
Selene: So I guess I should be thankful is what you're saying?
Karasniper: I would appreciate it.
Meanwhile
We cut to the group, in a really large tree and inside the branches and leaves was a nest of dorats. They were bird like demons about the size of mccaw parrots. They had gold feathers on their bodies with red patterns on their backs and long tail feathers. Seraphina had two of them, one on her shoulder the other on her arm.
Lilith: This is so beautiful.
Seraphina: Give me your arm.
Lilith reached her arm to her as Seraphina had the dorat on her arm go onto her. Lilith smiled as the dorat looked at her and cawed. Hooty had his neck stretched out as a whole bunch of them were sitting on his back neck. We also see Luz, Christa and King with some of them. Christa had on on her shoulder as she petted it's head. King hid behind her leg as one of the dorats keep coming at him trying to peck his skull.
King: Hey stop that. ( pecked) Ow, quit it. Ow, Christa, Luz help!
Christa: Are you really scared King?
King: But it hurts.
Luz: It's okay King. There's nothing to be afraid...
But then one of them landed on her scalp and it's claws dug in as it hurt Luz.
Luz: Ow! Oh god, it's claws are in my scalp.
King: See what I mean?
Luz: Ow, ow! Get it off me!
Seraphina: ( chuckles) Hold still.
Seraphina went over to Luz and got the dorat off her head.
Seraphina: You okay?
Luz: I think so. It hurt though. I think I'm bleeding. Am I bleeding?
Christa: You're fine.
But then a gun shot was heard. The dorats were frightened and flew away.
Luz: What was that?
Seraphina: Hunters.
Seraphina formed her staff.
Seraphina: You all wait here. I'll check it out.
Lilith: We're coming with you.
Seraphina: It could be dangerous.
Luz: We can help Seraphina.
Seraphina: I wouldn't feel right if I got you kids in danger.
Christa: If it's really bad, we'll let you handle it and stand aside.
King: We promise.
Seraphina: Okay, but don't act unless I say so.
Luz and Christa: Yes ma'am.
They heard the gun shots again and they got onto their staffs to follow. They landed in some trees to not be so close. Then they heard something coming from the vines. A machete cut through and out came Karasniper.
Luz: It's Karasniper.
King: What's he doing here?
But what's worse was the next person who came out.
Lilith: Selene. Why her?
But Lilith looked and saw Seraphina's look. Her tense expression as she gripped onto her staff. She looked really shocked or like she saw a ghost.
Lilith: What's wrong?
Seraphina: It's him.
Lilith: What?
Seraphina: That hunter with Selene. He's the one who killed Armin's mother.
Seraphina looked at Karasniper and her memories came back to her. She has flashbacks of that day, except now we see his face. He appeared to be younger and had both his eyes. He assaulted her and Kilala clawed out his old eye which replaces his cybernetic one.
Seraphina: It was him. It was him.
Lilith: Seraphina control yourself.
Seraphina: I'm going after him. You guys get out of here.
Lilith: Seraphina don't act hastly. If you go you'll blow our cover and put us all in danger. Clear your mind.
Seraphina looked at Lilith's pleading look. She took a deep breathe and regained her cool.
Seraphina: You're right. I'm sorry. We wait for them to leave the area, we'll leave before they notice...
Then she heard a hissing noise. Everyone heard it too, especially Luz. She turned around and saw a snake hissing at her. She screamed and fell off.
Christa and King: Luz!
Luz fell to the ground and saw the rifle at her face and Selene went up to her.
Selene: Well look who we have here. Hello again human, I see you and your friends met Kaa.
Everyone else landed down quickly. Christa and King helped Luz up and Lilith and Seraphina stepped up at Selene and Karasniper as Kaa slithered his way back to Selene and formed into her staff.
Selene: You again Lilith? Why is it that whenever I'm just doing my own thing you have to be there as well. But I see you brought your little girlfriend with you.
Seraphina: Why are you here Selene?
Selene: My buisness is none of your concern.
Karasniper: You want me to deal with them for you.
Seraphina: And you!
Karasniper: Me?
Seraphina: You have some nerve coming here to hunt.
Karasniper: Have we met?
Karasniper just stared at Seraphina for a moment, until he finally remembered
Karasniper: You...you're that witch that messed with my hunt and costed my eye.
Luz: You've met before?
Seraphina: It was a long time ago.
Karasniper: Indeed it was, but I never forgot that day. I swore I'd find you one day and that lake salamander demon you...wait. It's here isn't it?
Seraphina's eyes widened and let out a small gasp.
Karasniper: So it is. It must be fully grown by now. At last I'll finish what I stared, after all their horns are pretty rare now a days.
Seraphina: I'm not letting you anywhere near him!
Lilith: We won't let them get to him.
Christa: It's still six of us against those two.
Selene: Oh there's still one more little girl.
Luz heard a faint soundwave coming from above. She looked up and saw a familiar laser coming.
Luz: Christa look out!
Luz pulled Christa and King back as a huge laser blocked them from Lilith, Hooty and Seraphina. The blast was powerful too as it created some winds at the impact of the ground and spread across the jungle. It finally stopped and the two groups were now separated as their was a large long gap across them.
Lilith: Are you alright?
Christa: We're fine but what caused that?
Then something landed behind the kids. Something big. They slowly turned and to their shock was a giant Battra roaring at them.
Luz: Battra?!
King: How is he so big?
Battra roared and lunged down about to eat the three. Luz went up at him and used a light glyph. The bright light flashed at his eyes as the kids ran. His vision slowly regained as he chased after them.
Lilith: Kids!
Lilith was about to go save them, until Selene appeared in front of her and knocked her down with a magic blast.
Seraphina: Lilith!
Seraphina helped her up.
Lilith: I'm fine, but the kids are in danger.
Seraphina: I'll send them help.
Seraphina got her hands together and made her whistling call for Armin to go help them.
Seraphina: Armin will fight that thing. Let's take care of these two first.
Lilith stood up as the two got ready to fight Selene and Karasniper.
We cut Luz, Christa and King still being chased by Battra. He lost them for a minute in the jungle but kept looking.
King: Luz, we can't run from this thing forever.
Luz: I know but he's hard to lose.
Christa: Wait there's a cave. Quick get in.
The three of them ran to the cave, but Battra saw them and lunged at them. The three of them just barely made it inside with his snout hardly fitting into the cave. He couldn't open his mouth wide enough to use it on them. He pulled his snout out. The three of them stood in there and breathed heavily.
Luz: ( panting) Okay, okay I think...I think we're safe for now.
Christa: It's a bit dark in here though.
Luz: Hold on.
Luz got out another light glyph and shined the cave. There wasn't much to it, just a dark, wet and rocky cave.
Luz: Okay that's better.
King: You think he's gone?
Luz: I don't know. I'll go check.
Christa: Luz no, he could still be out there.
Luz: I'm just goint to make a quick peek.
King: Careful.
Luz slowly came out of the cave, but the moment she did she saw Battra from above about to eat her. Christa formed a vine and pulled Luz back before he got the chance. He stuck his snout in the cave again trying to reach but can't.
Luz: Oh Dios mío. Thanks Hermana.
Christa: But it looks like we're not going anywhere.
Luz: We have to help Lilith and Seraphina.
King: But how without him trying to eat us?
They heard a sound in the cave. The three of them turned and saw large shadowy monster on the wall.
King: Weh! Another monster!
Luz and Christa got ready to fight, but then the shadow got smaller and out of the rocks was the baby Selkidomus from before.
King: A baby Selkidomus.
Christa: Aw it's you again.
The baby went up to the two remembering them and cuddled as Luz and Christa petted it.
Luz: Hey little guy. What are you doing here?
Christa: We're not near a beach are we?
King: The cave must lead into the sea.
Luz: I would suggest we'd try swimming out, but it's boiling water. ( groans) Why does most of the water in this world have to be boiling?
King: I don't know Luz. I just live in this world.
The cave shook a bit. The three held onto each other and the baby as we cut to outside that Battra was shooting the outside of the cave, trying to cause a cave in. But then he heard a screeching roar. He turned and saw Armin approaching him. Battra roared at him as the two monsters looked at each other for a minute. Then the two charged at each other and began fighting.
Armin rammed into Battra and hit him with his tail. Battra fired his laser at him. He missed a couple times but the next two cut his right side and left arm. Armin bled a little but was more of a scratch then anything serious. He retaliated with an an electric wave at him. Battra got hit and fell to the ground near the cave as the others watched.
Luz: It's Armin. He's come to save us.
Christa: It's still dangerous to go out with them fighting.
Luz: Let's just hope he can win.
We cut back to Lilith and Seraphina.
Lilith: I'll deal with Selene.
Seraphina: Are you sure?
Lilith: Trust me and I know you want to settle with him by yourself.
Selene: How sweet, the two of you fighting side by side and seeing who's best to fight. But it really makes no difference.
The heard the monsters roars and looked up. They could see Armin and Battra fighting.
Karasniper: The lake salamander demon.
He aimed his rifle at the horns, but right before he could fire, Seraphina hit him across the head with her staff, making him miss. He looked at her as he slowly got up.
Seraphina: Don't you dare hurt him.
Karasniper: ( silent chuckles) I could use a challenge because after I get rid of you, hunting down that pet of yours will be all too easy!
Karasniper formed a large spell circle and coming out of them were green translucent gattling guns and fired away at her. Seraphina dodged the attack she formed a spell circle and shot what looked orange bats made of magic at him. He dodged as well, but then she formed another spell circle and out of the ground what looked like two giant earthworms and tieing up his arms. He was being pulled back and Seraphina's nails began to glow orange, charging her slash attack. She was running at Karasniper about to attack. He acted quickly and his cybernetic eye glowed and fired at the worms holding him. Once he was freed he grabbed hold of Seraphina's arm. Her clawed arm was at his face but she couldn't push any further. He was pushing her and then punched her across the face.
Lilith ( with Hooty still strapped to her back) was facing against Selene. Selene formed a large spell circle and four black snakes were coming at Lilith. She used an ice glyph and shot icicles at the snakes, destroying them instantly and one of them almost hit Selene as she just side stepped aside, but she didn't see Hooty coming in and ramming her down. Lilith used a water glyph at her. She trapped Selene in a huge bubble of water, attempting to drown her. Selene's eyes glowed and let out a magic wave, freeing her from the water orb and pushing Lilith. This made her drop Hooty as he fell on his face and Selene jumped up onto a tree looking down at her.
Selene: ( panting) I see...you're improving with glyph magic. But you really think a primitive style of magic is enough to beat me.
Lilith: Of course not, you haven't seen my new power.
Selene: ( in her mind) Her new power, what?
Lilith: Go-o-o-o-o harpy powers!
But nothing happened. She looked at herself and saw she hasn't changed. Selene looked at her confused.
Lilith: Uh, harpy powers make up! Go! Fly! Go! Go Harpy Lilith go! Why isn't it working?
Selene: I don't have time for this.
Selene took one of the potion bombs strapped to her waist and threw it at Lilith. She dodged the attack as Selene kept throwing more at her. Lilith was caught by one of the blasts and fell to the ground. Selene reached her arm as it stretched into a snake hand and wrapped around her body. Selene threw her at a tree. Selene formed a large spell circle and fired a green energy wave coming at her. She got out a fire glyph and used it at the energy wave causing an explosion. The smoke was thick, but Lilith saw Selene's staff coming at her face. It barely missed her face and hit the tree. Lilith got away as Selene got her staff back and looked at her with an evil smirk.
Lilith: I did it once. How do I access it again?
We cut back to Armin and Battra fighting. Battra used his laser again at Armin. He dodged the attack and shot two electric waves at him, knocking him down. Battra was about to get up, but Armin wrapped him with his tail. He began to electricute him. It seemed he had the upperhand, but then he was hit by a green fireball, letting go of Battra. A familiar roar was heard as he looked and saw Gagi return, seemed to be wanting a rematch. Armin screeched and fired an electric wave at Gagi but he spat another fire ball at him the electric wave and cancled the attack. Armin was then knocked down by Battra who flew up and swooped at the back of his head. Armin fell and Battra landed next to Gagi as the two roared eagerly.
Christa: That's not fair it's two against one.
Luz: Come on Armin, you can beat them!
Armin screeched at the two monsters. He went up to Battra and punched him and he got hit in the face by his claw hand. Gagi pushed him from the back and grabbed him by the tail. He swung him around and threw him at the outside of the cave. The inside of the cave shook as rocks were falling down. Luz and the others held onto each other as Christa tried pushing the rocks falling onto them away.
Battra flew up and grabbed hold of Armin with his feet. He lifted him high up int he air. Once he was as high as he could be, he dropped Armin onto the ground. The ground shook from his impact. The cave in was getting worse for the kids. They couldn't just run out since they were so close to the monsters would risk getting crushed. Armin was down as Gagi continued beating him down. Armin tail whipped him in the face. He tried to get back up, but then Battra used laser at his right horn. The horn broke off as Armin screeched in agonizing pain and fell onto his back. Battra focused back at the cave, sticking his snout in trying to eat the kids.
Seraphina: Armin, kids!
Seraphina pushed Karasniper off and formed her staff. But a magic projectile shot her hand. She yelled and drops her staff as her hand was bit burned. She looked saw it was caused by Karasniper, who shot her with his rifle.
Karasniper: You're not going anywhere witch.
Seraphina: Looks like I'll have to make this fast then.
Seraphina formed a large spell circle around her body. Claws and fangs formed on her hands, feet and mouth as she let out a roar, accessing her feral mode. She got onto all fours and ran at him at high speed. Karasniper was caught off guard as she scratched him across his chest. He jumped back and looked at the scratch marks on his chest, dripping with blood.
Karasniper: So the hunt has officially began. Very well. We'll play you're way!
Karansiper again formed two gattling gun spell circles and fired at her. She kept dodging them as her nails glowed and let out a slash wave at him.
We then cut to Selene beating on Lilith. She was hit by another projectile attack and then her snake arm wrapped her up and brought her to her face.
Selene: Oh Lilith, you're really not the powerful coven head I once knew. I still can't believe you gave up you're career for that low life you call a sister and that human. This was my day off and was just doing my own thing but seeing you here I can't resist turning you in to Belos. Oh and don't worry about your girlfriend. I'll take good care of her like before.
But then Hooty emerged out of the ground behind Selene.
Selene: What the?
Hooty: Hey! No one does that to my friends!
Hooty rammed into Selene knocking her down and letting go of Lilith. He wrapped himself around Selene squeezing her and throwing her at a tree. He was about to ram her again until she formed a spell circle and fired a projectile at him as Hooty fell to the floor and she stomped on his head.
Lilith: Hootsifer!
Selene: Well that was quite a nuisance. I don't know what you are but you really disturb me. Let's fix that.
Selene formed a spell circle about to kill Hooty. But then Lilith's eyes turned black. A flash was made as Selene looked over confused. Harpy Lilith appeared and flew at Selene punching her off Hooty.
Selene: What?
Harpy Lilith: And no one does that to my friends.
Hooty: Hooray for Harpy Lulu!
Harpy Lilith: Hootsifer are you okay?
Hooty: Oh I'm fine. Got little fried right there, but not the first time really. I'll live. Hoot, ow.
Harpy Lilith: Thank you for saving me Hooty. You sit aside. I'll handle this.
Selene: That form. That's what Eda had. I knew it! You do know about it!
Harpy Lilith: Let's just say I once had a dream where I punched you in the face. And I just made that a reality.
Selene glared at her as she charged at her with her staff and Lilith came at her.
Meanwhile
Armin was having trouble against Gagi. After Gagi bit down onto his shoulder he threw him off and hit him with his tail. Armin fell to the ground as Gagi got onto his back. He grabbed hold of his other horn and started twisting off. Battra was still at the cave, trying to eat the others. Luz placed an ice glyph on the ground to create ice spikes to come at him and King let out a sonic wave. Their attacks didn't do much to harm him rather than a minor sting. Christa was trying desperatly to keep the cave together and the baby selkidomus started making a crying sound.
Luz: It's okay, it's okay. We're not going to let him get to you. Just hold on.
Battra kept trying to reach further in for them. But then he felt a bit on his leg. He was pulled out and thrown at Gagi, getting him off of Armin.
Christa: What just happened?
Luz: I don't know he just stopped.
They looked out and it was the mother selkidomus from before.
Christa: It's the mother. She came to save her baby.
King: And us too!
The selkidomus roared and stood by Armin as he got up. Gagi and Battra also got up as it was now two on two. Gagi roared and spat a green fire ball at the selkidomus. She inflated her neck and shot spikes at him. It cancled his attack and some spikes hit him. Gagi roared stepping back as Armin shot an electric wave at him and running up punching him to the ground. Battra went up to the selkidomus and hit her across the face with his wing. She hit him across the face with her tail as he stepped back and shot his laser at her. He cut the left side of her body as she let out a roar and he shot another laser at her face. She ducked down and ran up at him, biting onto his wing. Battra roared as he tried to hit her with his free wing, but wouldn't budge.
Armin kept fighting Gagi. The latter swung his tail at him, but ducked down and used his tail to wrap around Gagi's neck. He began to strangle him and even lifted him up. Gagi was letting out a muffled and gurgling roar trying to break free and his mouth was foaming. But Armin formed the electricity around his body and electricuted Gagi. Putting his power to the max, Gagi body spasms began to decrease and Armin dropped him and Gagi laid there dying. Armin let's out a victorias screech.
King: He did it!
Christa: Way to go Armin!
Luz: Quick go help her.
The selkidomus rammed her head into Battra right before he shot his laser at her. He fell back and began to fly up. But when he did that the selkidomus inflated her neck and shot spikes at him. The spikes pierced through his wings, stabbed his body and one of them pierced through his leg. Battra fell onto his back and selkidomus bit onto his left shoulder. Armin joined in and wrapped his tail around his neck. Luz and the others exited the cave as they watched the two.
Luz: That's right team work!
Christa: You got him now!
The two began dragging him. Dragging him to the edge of the island where the boiling sea was. Battra was stuck. He struggled to get out but couldn't with the two holding onto him. He shot laser out aimlesssly but because he can't turn his neck it was useless. He kept struggling, roaring to get out but couldn't. Soon they made it to the edge and three of them fell off. Battra let out a roar falling in and large spash was made. The water was steaming and bubbling. Suddenly Battra surfaced out of the water. His body was sizziling and smoking as he roared. But he started to drip. His body was melting and couldn't swim. He didn't last long as he let out one last roar before sinking. Once he sunk black paint was forming on the water and one last laser shot out.
Luz: The end of Battra.
The laser faded away and the water stopped bubbling, killing the choju for good.
King: Well that finally got him.
Christa: Come on, we have to help Lilith and Seraphina.
Luz: Let's go. Baby, you stay here and wait for your mother.
The baby selkidomus made a cute sound and nodded. Christa got her staff as three flew to meet up.
Meanwhile
Selene had witnessed Battra's loss.
Selene: Damn Battra! How can you lose?!
Harpy Lilith: Eye's on me!
Selene looked Lilith flying at her. Lilith grabbed her by the neck and started to strangle her.
Harpy Lilith: You still think I'm not powerful anymore?
Selene: You're only fighting because of your handicap. I still possess magic!
Selene took a potion from her waist and threw it at Lilith's face. Lilith let's go of her as Selene flies up and stretches her neck down at Lilith like a snake. She bit down onto Lilith's right shoulder. Lilith yelled as Selene tried sucking out her energy. Lilith grabbed onto her neck, making Selene let go and threw her to the ground. Selene retracted her neck. She glared at Lilith and raised her staff and shot four snake like magic projectiles at her. Lilith deflected the attacks with her claws and ran at her. Selene was about to hit her with her staff, Lilith dodged the attack and slashed Selene on her back. Selene yelled as we see four large scratch marks on her back. Selene looked at her angrily and flew up in the air. She formed a large spell circle and numerous magic projectiles rained down at Lilith. But she missed as Lilith appeared above her and punched her down on the head as Selene fell. Lilith landed as Selene barely stood on her feet, using her staff as support.
Harpy Lilith: It's over Selene.
Selene: This is far from over Lilith. I'm not done yet with you!
Selene took out a potion and smashed it on the ground creating smoke. Once it cleared up, Selene was gone as Lilith turned to Seraphina.
Karasniper was firing rifle at Seraphina who was running at him. Projectiles cut her cheek, and her left arm and right leg. She punched him in the stomach as he fell back and dropped his rifle. She took the rifle and smashed it to a rock, breaking it. She formed a large magic projectile in the form of a tiger, roaring and running at Karasniper. He got hit by the attack and tore off some his clothes, mainly his shirt. This exposed his wings on his back as he looked at them and flew up as his monical eye aimed at her and fired a rainstorm of laser projectiles at her. He stopped and couldn't see her down there. But then he heard a faint yell and summersaulted avoiding an attack from Seraphina from behind. She stopped flying when she missed and turned to him.
Karasniper: You let yourself open witch. I'm suprised as a beast keeper like you should know how beasts react. It's an amature move for the predator to make a sound. You can't think clearly acting like a beast. I am the hunter of course and you are the prey.
Seraphina: I prefer the term, predator.
Seraphina used her slash waves at him. He used his monical eye laser at the slash waves and cancelled the attack. He took out his machete and yelled as he flew at her. He tried slashing her multiple times as she kept dodging. She tried to slash him with her claws, but dodged and cut her right waist. Seraphina yelled as she flew back. She held her waist and looked at her hand, covered in blood. Seraphina was tiring out as her feral mode began to fade. Karasniper aimed his monical eye at her about to fire.
Karasniper: ( chuckles) I have you now.
But then Lilith came at him from below, flying at him at high speed. She clawed his monical eye, breaking it off as he held his bloody eye.
Karasniper: AAAAH! My eye! Again at the eye!
Harpy Lilith: He's all yours.
Seraphina: Thank you love.
Seraphina's claws glowed as she flew at him, he did the same thing with his machete and the two strike each other. After a moment of flying in place, Karasniper felt something off. His left wing fell off. His eyes widened as he fell somewhere deep into the jungle screaming. Seraphina looked down, thinking she won. But she was so tired and nearly fell off her staff, but Lilith caught her.
Harpy Lilith: Easy I got you.
The two landed softly to the ground.
Seraphina: Th-Thanks.
Harpy Lilith: You did great. ( looks at her waist) Oh you're hurt.
Seraphina: Just a scratch. I'll live.
Luz: Lilith, Seraphina!
Luz and the others finally made it.
Harpy Lilith: Luz, Christa, King, thank Titan you're all safe.
Christa: Yeah, Armin saved us. And the selkidomus too.
Seraphina: G-Good. I'm so glad you're okay.
Harpy Lilith: Luz, she's hurt.
Luz: Hold on, I brought a first aid.
Meanwhile
Karasniper fell to the ground. A loud thud was heard as we see him on the ground, with a broken leg. He couldn't get up.
Karasniper: Curse those witches! I'll have my revenge! Where's my flare?
He looked around for it, but when he did it was a bit far from him. But he also noticed something else. The canyon he was in.
Karasniper: Oh no.
Out of the ground was Arachnus. He saw Karasniper and roared, slowly crawling to him. He formed two spell circles, but before he could do anything, Arachnus spat web at his hands, covering them and cancelling his spell and unable to make any others.
Karasniper: No. NO!
Arachnus kept spitting more web at him as he tried crawling away, but it was no use. He was covered in web as Arachnus took him and dragged him back to his hole.
Karasniper: No! Let go beast! ARGH! AH! NOO! AAAH!
Then he saw Selene above the canyon
Karasniper: Selene! Help me! Please.
She looked at him and jumped down the canyon. But she didn't go to him. She knelt down and found something else, what looked like scales.
Selene: Selkidomus scales. They must have flown over here when Battra hit her with his attack.
Karasniper: What are you doing?! Get me out of here!
Selene: I have no use for a crippled hunter.
Karansiper: What?
Selene: But thank you for your services Karasniper. I really appreciate it.
Karasniper: Traitor! You witch! NOOOO!
Finally Arachnus made it back to his hole and took Karasniper with him. The hole closed up as we now here Karasniper's muffled screams as he is being eaten alive.
Meanwhile
We cut to the group on a beach with Armin, the selkidomus and her baby with them.
Seraphina: You didn't tell me you met and saved the selkidomus.
Christa: Yeah, we saved her from our first encounter with the five. Then it rewarded Eda with it's vomit. It was kinda gross.
Seraphina: Everyone, I'm so sorry about all of this. I never intended to put you all in danger. None of this was supposed to happen.
Harpy Lilith: It's not your fault Seraphina. We made it out and no one is hurt. Well killed I mean.
Luz: Yeah don't worry. I mean I've dealt with quite a few set backs when just doing normal things. You remember with me and Amity when we first met you.
Seraphina: ( chuckles) Yes I know.
Christa: But what about Armin? Is he going to be okay.
Seraphina: His senses will be a bit off, but since only one horn broke off it'll grow back in time as long as the other one is still intact.
Luz: He really helped us. I just feel bad that had to happen.
Seraphina: He'll be okay, don't worry.
Armin bent down to the group as Seraphina placed her hand on his snout.
Seraphina: Armin it was great seeing you again. But I have to go now.
Armin replies with a small screech.
Seraphina: I know you'll miss me. I'll see you again next month okay. Just lay low and don't get into more fights. Love you.
Seraphina places a kiss on his snout and she went over to the selkidomus as she knelt down to her.
Seraphina: Thank you so much for helping Armin and the kids. You and your child take care.
The selkidomus gave her nudge as she pet her snout and her baby went up to Seraphina as she knelt down scratching it's head.
Seraphina: And you be good and listen to your mother.
They got onto their staffs and flew off.
Christa: Bye Armin, bye selkidomus and baby.
Luz: It was great seeing you again! Thanks again Armin. You're really great!
As they flew off, Armin stood there with the selkidomus letting out a goodbye screech to his surrogate mother and the friends he made.
We then cut to Selene, also flying away from the island. We see her back, cut from Lilith's attack.
Selene: Well, Karasniper filled his role. If Babalou asks I'll tell him those fools killed him.
She looked down at her bag of the things she gathered from the island.
Selene: I can't believe I lost to Lilith. She out ranked me again. But won't be for long. I will surpass you Lilith. I will find a way.
