"Someone Talking"

'Someone Thinking'

It's been a day since they had to hastily leave Venice Italy to go to Prague. They were currently staying at a hotel owned by the Huntik Foundation, while the team were completing the mission on retrieving the golem titan, the one mentioned in Eathons journal. Dante had summoned his avian titan slowing to keep an eye around the surrounding area and to let them know if any suits arrive.

Anyways Lok and Sophie were sitting around a table while Dante walked in carrying what Lok assumed was his holotome.

"Seekers, we have a mission," Dante said while placing his holotome on the table, who Dante told quickly, "pull up the Prague Central Cemetery."

The holotome quickly opened and did as Dante asked showing a virtual 3D replica of it, so that we could plan out our mission.

"Based on the information Sophie gathered our goal is the tomb of the wiseman of Prague, Jodis Lore. Mission the Golem of Prague, reach Prague Central Cemetery, find and access Jodis Lore's tomb, gather clues about the golem, after dark well enter through the front entrance to the cemetery."

Both Sophie and Lok nodded in understanding and allowing Dante to continue, "If there really is an underground area, it can't be any larger than this. It's likely we'll be relying on small and medium sized titans, like Solwing, Gawain, and Sabriel."

With that the holotome began uploading the stats of Dante's, Lok's, and Sophie's titan respectively.

Solwing – Attack 1 – Defence 1 - Krono-Titan Scout – Size – Small – Special Abilities – Flight

Gawain – Attack 2 – Defence 4 - Gaia-Titan Warrior – Size – Average – Special Abilities – Matser of close quarters combat

Sabriel – Attack 3 – Defence 2 - Draco-Titan Warrior – Size – Average – Special Abilities – Unaffected by Injury

As soon as the holotome had finished rattling off the titans abilities. Dante's Solwing flew in and perched itself quite comfortably on Dante's shoulder.

Cherit asked Dante a question, "What if the Organization gets wind of our plan."

Dante calmly said, "they already have."

'Great just great,' Lok thought to himself at the bomb Dante had just dropped, so deciding to ask, "Your kidding, what do we do?"

"Relax, this hotel belongs to the huntik foundation. We'll be safe for a while," Dante said never taking his eyes off the holotome.

"Oh it's not like a few suits will be a problem for you, right Dante. Hey, let me show you my idea," Sophie said while walking to stand next to where Dante was sitting, while near the end of her sentence she began talking a little seductively. Which to be honest kind of creeped Lok out, considering that Dante was at least double their age, give or take. He decided not to make any sort of comment, and decided to just stay quiet.

Suddenly the door leading to the bathroom was smashed open by a redcap. He heard Sophie wondering where that had come from. When they all stood up to face it, another one had started to reveal itself from the nearby closet.

Deciding to let Gawain out to play, "fight for justice, Gawain," with that his first titan appeared at his side and immediately blocked a clawed hand that had been aimed at lok's head.

"No!" He heard from Sophie and noticed a third redcap had been under the bed and was trying to drag her underneath.

Dante blasted it back with a raypulse, while trying to keep the one in the closet to stay in. Luckily Gawain had been able to impale the one that he had been duking it out with leaving two redcaps left. However two suits carrying augerfrost came into the room to join their titans. Gawain shielded Lok from one, while Dante used the table to block the one aimed at him

"Augerfrost," one suit fired at Sophie, who blocked it with Honorguard.

Soon the enemy began menacingly approaching them. However the door behind the suits exploded and out came an older female with dark blue hair, and on her shoulder was a lizard like titan that Lok identified as a Gareon.

"Touchram," she entered blasting the two remaining redcaps, allowing with shattering the nearby windows. Dante charged the suits when they had turned to face the newcomer, and nailed one in the head with a kick.

Sophie said "I'll stop you! Huh?"

She became confused when Dante held a hand up to stop her. Soon the mysterious woman began running towards the two redcaps, and jumped over them while landing gracefully behind them. She grabbed surprisingly enough a Swara-Titan amulet from her bag, and said.

"Impale, Strix!" With that two bee like titans came out and proceeded to kamikaze the two redcaps, sending them back to their amulets. At the end she said, "serves them right."

With that they returned their titans and went outside to sit and discuss near a tree in the park, with Dante stating first. "So your Zhallia Moon. The foundation's new lone wolf, I've heard about you."

"And you're Dante Vale, the foundation's number one prodigy. Of course everyone's heard about you."

"Huh, so I take it you also work for the Foundation." Lok asked curious.

"Under contract, just like Dante."

"Thanks for the save, your powers were amazing." Lok caught the fact that Sophie didn't like the fact that Zhalia seemed stronger than her, or the fact that it was now competition for Dante's attention.

"I was in town on a mission," zhalia began, "and I happen to hear about the Organization infiltrating your hotel."

Cherit gave Zhalia a thumbs up, "Ah, you did us good then."

"I hope you weren't waiting around to be rescued," Zhalia mockingly said to Dante, "you got lucky, in this world you have to look out for yourself."

That seemed to irritate Sophie who started, "we could have managed, at least then we wouldn't have had to pay for the windows."

"It bothers me that the Organization breached our hotel. Could they have a spy in the Huntik Foundation?" Dante wisely asked Zhalia.

"Of course they could, haven't you heard the rumors the have about the on e called the Professor?"

Lok remembered hearing about him, he was the current leader of the Organization. With that Zhalia began to explain everything that the Huntik foundation currently had on him, "He is one of the world's most powerful seekers. His collection of amulets and ancient artifacts is the largest in history. He manipulates heads of state, as well as his own men, with a skill to control minds."

Lok questioned because he had never read anywhere about there being a mind control spell, "so it's a power?"

"No, there is no magic that I've heard of that can do that." Sophie answered sitting near Dante.

Lok looked down solemnly after Zhalia had finished, which Cherit asked if anything was wrong.

"A man like that, he must be after the Ancient Amulet of Will, I wonder if he crossed paths with my dad?" Lok said while turning his head towards Cherit at the end.

Timeskip a few hours later

After saying thank you to Zhalia they had started making their way to the cemetery where they waited discreetly nearby for it to get dark, after which just like they planned they entered through the open gate. Where Dante took point with a flashlight, whispering orders to Lok, Cherit, and Sophie who were behind him, "everyone stay together, and remember the plan."

With that either stealthily made their way into the cemetery while looking through the headstones of those not on this earth anymore. While Sophie began, "According to legend, Jodis Lore made the golem from silt from the river clay, and then he brought it to life by writing the word truth on its forehead."

Lok was staring at the cramped cemetery in wonder, "It's just hard to believe that this is in the middle of the city."

Sophie explained why it was so cramped to Lok, "that's why all the graves are piled on top of one another, there was just no more room.." Sophie stopped when her flashlight revealed Zhalia standing next to a grave.

"There'll be on enough for more, if your not careful." Zhalia said cryptically. Which seemed to piss of Sophie.

"Zhalia! Are you stalking us?"

Dante merely raised his arm up so that he could explain why Zhalia was here, "Take it easy, I asked her to come, alright."

This only served to further piss Sophie off, "What!"

Zhalia walked over to stand next to Dante, while explaining, Prague is a dangerous place. Foundation operatives have to stay close.

Sophie shown her flashlight on Zhalia not liking how close she was to him. Lok was hoping that things between the two didn't turn into a cat fight.

Deciding to try and placate Sophie, Lok said, "come on Sophie with her help we have a better chance of finding the legendary amulet of will, and my dad."

Zhalia turned to look at Lok, "you have some faith kid, you must have had a pretty easy life."

"I did but I'm a seeker now."

"We'll see."

Dante merely turned around and pointed his flashlight in front of him, "Judas Loew's tomb is just ahead, keep your eyes peeled."

Pretty soon they were at the tomb of Jodis Lore. Sophie having examined it throughly stated, "It's just a normal inscription."

Cherit who was sitting on the headstone turned to Lok and asked, "Lok wasn't there something in your journal about the golem?"

Lok quickly brought the book out, while saying, "I've been trying to make it out but the page is ruined." Lok showed the page he was looking at to Sophie, "I think it says blood of the golem?"

"The golem isn't made of flesh and blood, it's made of clay," Sophie realized while shoving her hand into the wet soil beneath them to pull a handful of clay, which she immediately put on the headstone.

Zhalia mockingly said, Sophie enough, "that's not going to do anything."

However Dante quickly cut Zhalia off once he realized what Sophie was trying to do.

Lok quickly remembered what Sophie had said about the golem, "The clay didn't bring the golem to life the word Truth did. Sophie can you draw the symbol that represents truth?"

"It's a difficult symbol, but it goes something like this," with that Sophie began writing on the clay the symbol for truth like Lok had asked her to do. After she had completed it the ground underneath where they were began to shake as if something was moving underneath. Pretty soon the door to the tomb began to open. With that they entered the tomb, with Dante lagging a bit behind for some reason.

Lok asked, "Dante, you coming?"

After a little lull Dante responded, "right behind you."

Pretty soon they came to a room made of two different types of clay bricks, however before they could figure out what they meant, Dante had began walking past them, we're running out of time, so let me explain. Only stand on the lighter ones, the golem was made from Boltavah river clay. Remember it always dries light."

Zhalia soon began doing what he said, while saying, "Dante Vale earns his reputation."

They had just made it past the room, and were trying to open the door, when Lok heard Dante's watch going off, which the man began to check, "Stay here!"

With that Dante exited the room heading towards the tombs entrance. Soon after they immediately ran in the same direction after hearing the sounds of battle, and found Grier holding Dante in a tight grip preventing him from doing much.

Zhalia, Sophie, and Lok said, "Raypulse," and firing off each a blast at Defoe, who screamed, while cowering behind his Kreutalks that quickly came to protected him. More bad news came when Defoe triggered a trap causing Lok, Sophie, and Zhalia to end up getting trapped in a somewhat sentient slime pit. With Defoe beginning to gloat at his success.

Dante had finally been able to escape Griers tight grip, and he tried to attack Defoe, unfortunately the man's Titan gushed up a jet of acid that caused Dante to back off. More bad news came when three suits e entered the room and prepared som spells, which he dodged? He didn't dodge the poison heat spell that Defoe had sent his way causing the mentor to be knocked to the ground injured.

With that done Defoe said to Lok, "Now you there Lok Lambert, I believe you have a journal for me."

Seeing that they were in a no win situation Lok with some difficulty began pulling out his journal from the slimes depths, so as to not piss off Defoe.

Sophie angrily asked, "what are you doing?"

Defoe mockingly told Lok, "there's a good boy. What's this?"

"The handiwork of your men, because of the my fathers journal is ruined," Lok said with some anger to his voice.

"Well then since it's been damaged then I see no reason to bother with it, and besides the secrets of the ancient amulet are close" Defoe said mockingly.

"Kreutalks, get the key," with that the flying manga ray went and grabbed the key after melting the doorknob.

"Now, what to do with Mr. Vale?" this pissed off both Sophie and Lok who started shouting.

"Don't you dare touch him."

Pretty soon after Kreutalks returned to defoes side with the key in the grasp of its tail, which soon moved to give it to his master.

Defoe said, "we'll now I guess I have what I came for Jodis Lore's key, let's go Grier."

With that Defoe and Grier exited the room, but not before Defoe left a closing remark "Also I wouldn't rejoice about us leaving, I ordered a cleaning crew to come and deal with you."

With that the three struggled to get out of the slimes embrace, while the three suits just watched enjoying their struggle. However behind them Lok noticed that Dante was getting up and using a spell he had never seen before to heal any injuries from the spell. With the healing done, Dante proceeded to wipe the floor with the three suits that were left for clean up.

With the trash having been taken care of Dante helped the others get out of the trap, after which they began to look through the relatively untouched Study.

Sophie was fascinated by it all, "This was Jodis Lore's study alright, look at all this."

Dante quietly took Lok aside to ask about his titans, "I noticed that you have yet to use your fathers amulet, why?"

Lok merely shrugged, "I know that kipperin isn't exactly built for fighting, like Gawain, Arawn, and Lindorm are. Also I just felt like it was never a good time to bring out him, but I do plan to utilize him soon."

Nodding, Dante walked over to the table that had previously held the key, while Zhalia complained, "There's nothing here, this is a waste of time."

"Maybe not, Zhalia I'm going to need your help. Lok, Sophie go find Cherit it's not over yet." Dante said serious expression on his face.

Timeskip

After Zhalia had made a replica key, and Cherit had been found. They quickly made their way to the workshop, and quickly set up a fake resting golem to surprise the Organization.

"I hope that Zhalia's imprint key worked out," Lok said while pacing up on the roof where Dante had told him and Sophie to be located.

"I'm sure Dante's Trojan horse Golem took them by surprise." Sophie said to him in reassurance, sitting on the roof.

"I wonder why Dante told us to stay up here?" Lok asked because it had been something that had been bothering Lok.

"I'm sure he's got some plan in his head," Cherit said.

"Maybe, but why take that creepy girl I'm a much better seeker than she is," Sophie's jealousy once again reared it's head.

"Hey if Dante didn't want us to crash the party wouldn't he have already sent us home," Lok wondered.

"Yeah," Sophie said in realization.

"I say we go," Lok said while helping Sophie to her feet.

Sophie responded with, "I agree."

With that they began making their way down from the roof to where Dante and Zhalia were, before getting there they saw two suits standing in their way. Lok and Sophie quickly let out their titans.

"Come on out, Gawain."

"Fight with me, Sabriel."

With the suits responded by one bringing out a redcap, while the other brought out a Mindrone. Sophie and Sabriel began taking on the one suit and their redcap, while the Mindrone and other suit were being dealt with by Lok and Gawain.

Gawain was able to take down the Mindrone but was defeated by a surprise attack from the suit, which also knocked out Lok for the moment.

A bit of time being unconscious later, with Lok being woken up by Cherit. He learned that the Organization had the others pined, he also noticed the tall ceilings which would allow him to test out his newest Gaia-Titan.

Deciding to use the same power that Dante had used before, everfight, which got rid of his concussion.

"Kipperin!" Lok said just loud enough so as to not draw the Organization's attention to him while he was getting things ready. With that the amulet's Titan was revealed to be a green moth like creature with tentacles that soon wrapped around Lok's torso to let Lok fly.

Stealthily flying in he decided to interrupt Defoe who had begun monologging, "Victory is in my….."

A kick to the head was enough to send the dude to unconsciousness. While the suits were greatly surprised at the CO being taken down.

"Your going to have to be a lot quicker then that," Lok taunted the Suits. He soon dive bombed them before rising back into the air, with the suits trying to hit him unsuccessfully, with augerfrosts.

"Perfect timing, Lok." Dante said, while signaling his still active Solwing, to attack Breaker. At the same time Zhalia had Garson blast Grier in the back.

Lok flew close to the ground to avoid the double augerfrosts, while using Kipperin's wings to knock the two suits off their feet, while they were falling Lok said, "watch your step."

Flying high Lok noticed that Dante was going through the rubble, probably looking for the golems amulet. Zhalia protected Sophie after Breaker went after her, also it seemed like Dante found the amulet.

"Ahh. Do your worst, Metagolem!" The Titan that Dante called fourth was huge, and quite strong as well. This is due to the massive Titan taking down breaker with a single punch.

"Metagolem, they bonded." Defoe said in disbelief, having recently returned to consciousness.

Lok flew up to get a good look at Dante's new Titan, and in admiration said, "Dante, that thing's hug."

Everyone regrouped when Dante had given the order to his group.

"On my mark concentrate your attacks on Defoe."

"Retreat, everyone retreat," Defoe ordered nervously.

With that the Organization quickly began to fall back. Looks like today they had won the amulet, so they began heading home to get some rest. They had already retrieved Jodis lores notes and sent them to try and be deciphered by the Huntik Foundation. Time could only tell when the notes would be deciphered however.
