Chapter 52: Edge of the World
Featuring Titan Trapper Demon, Yakra

There was a dark room, chains were heard rattling. In there was a monster, roaring trying to break free of the chains that were latched onto his feet and wrists, but to no avail. We could not see this creature except for it's glowing green bug like eyes. He looked down at the chains biting into them but it didn't do anything. He then breathed a red heat ray at the the chains, but still didn't as they heat resistant. The monster roared ( stock Gabara/Doragory roar) which sounded like a gurgling laugh. He kept pulling to the chains in frustration but nothing. Finally a door opened up. We see a bright light from the door as two figures stood there, one big and tall one and the other was short, but they seemed to bear some resemblence to King.
Big figure: When will you give up? You're going to tire and wear yourself out.
Short figure: Besides can a guy get some sleep around here?
The monster roared at the two and then it began to speak.
Monster: I've been down here for too long. When is our next hunt.
Short figure: It'll come as soon as we find our next target. Just quit whining already!
Big figure: Let us remind you we found you nearly dead and we took you in and saved you.
Monster: You call locking me up taking me in?
Big figure: You know we can't take the risk of you walking among us. Considering your kinds nature.
Monster: ( roars) Don't insult us. There is nothing to be ashamed of being part of the Doragoris clan.
Big figure: We didn't say there was.
Short figure: Just not good for us you see. Alright now hush up. I'm going back to bed.
The short figure leaves.
Big figure: We should all. Sleep tight Doragoris.
The big figure closes the door as the Doragoris demon growls as the two leave him be.
The next day.
Christa was walking down the hall until she heard what sounded like King running.
Christa: King?
She followed the sound and saw King enter her room. She went to her room and King was no where to be found, but she knew what this was and smiled.
Christa: King I know you're here.
Christa looked around the room to see where King was. She looked over at the chest thinking he was hiding inside.
Christa: Oh where, oh where could he be? ( opens chest) Gotcha ya!
But when whe opened it, King was not inside. She dug through to see if he was hiding under her clothes. But then we see King emerging behind from a deactivated Jean Luke and making his way towards Christa quietly about to surprise her.
King: Sneak attack.
Christa: Huh?
Christa turned to King as he jumped up and pounced her. Christa fell onto her back as King laughed.
King: I got you Christa. You thought I was going it hide in there again did ya. Or the hamper, but that's kinda nasty. Right? Christa?
But Christa just layed on the floor motionless as King shook her.
King: Christa? Hey come I got you? You can stop playing dead now? Christa?
But Christa still didn't move as King began to freak out.
King: Oh no, oh no! I killed her! I must have gave her a heart attack. What do I do? Uh, okay I just need some bleach, a garbage back and a hack saw.
But while he wasn't looking Christa's eye opened as she smirked.
Christa: Sneak attack!
Christa grabbed King as she held and tickled him making him laugh.
Christa: I got you now!
King: No fair, I got you first.
Christa: That was all part of my plan.
King: Oh you are such a sneaky witch.
Christa: By the way, if you really accidently killed me were you really going to hack my body to pieces to hide the evidence.
King: What? I would neve do that. Maybe.
We cut to Christa still holding King as she went down stairs with Luz, Eda and Lilith waiting.
Luz: Christa you almost ready for school?
Christa: Yeah sorry, King was keeping me occupied again.
King: I had her until she cheated.
Luz: Oh King you rascal.
But then they heard moaning sounds as they turn to Hooty who was lying on the floor looking sick.
Christa: Oh no, Hoot Hoot!
Christa places King down and goes to check on Hooty.
Christa: Are you okay?
Hooty: Oh...I don't feel so good CC.
Lilith: I told you not to eat that half eaten sandwich that was sitting in the back of the fridge for the past month.
Luz: Why was that even still there?
Eda: Hey I haven't had time to clean the fridge with everthing that's going on. Hooty if you're going to puke, do it outside.
Hooty: Uh, oh. I need go outside. Oh I'm not going to make it! BLEEEEEH!
Hooty begins throwing up inside the house. Everything he regurgitated was either just junk or skeletons of rodents he ate.
Eda: AH, I just cleaned the floor Hooty!
Luz: You mean we as in Christa, King and I cleaned the floors while you were sitting back watching your soap operas and drinking apple blood.
Eda: Hey, mama's back was sore. I'm getting old you know.
Luz: You're in the best shape of your life.
King: Yeah, besides Lilith here is way older than you and her back isn't sore.
Lilith: ( annoyed) Thank you I really needed to hear how old I am compared to my sister.
Hooty: Oh, I'm sorry guys.
Christa: It's okay Hoot Hoot. Let it all out.
King: Hey what's this?
King notices something with his name on it in the junk pile. He took it and it was a black envelope for him.
Luz: A letter for you King?
Hooty: Oh! I remember that! A stranger wanted me to give that to you.
King: A stranger?
Hooty: Yeah, it was about a month ago. It's a funny story actually.
Flashback
One month ago.
Christa: Hooty! Can you put this letter in the mailbox for me?
Hooty: Sure thing CC. Anything for you! Hoot! Hoot!
Hooty went outside with Christa's letter in his mouth and went to the mailbox to drop it off.
?: I beg your pardon.
Hooty looked over and saw a figure approach him. It looked like a demon that bared some resemblence to King. He was a tall beared figure with black robes with brown and gold armor. Had wings on his back and his skull had long fangs, a crack and curved horns. He approached Hooty with a letter in his hands and places it on the floor.
?: Can you make sure this gets to King Clawthorne.
Hooty: Oh sure thing.
The figure nods and leaves. Before Hooty could do anything a bug crawled onto the letter.
Hooty: OOH! A bug!
Hooty eats the bug, but also eats the letter too.
Hooty: Oops, my bad. Hope it was junk mail. Hoot! Hoot!
Flashback ends.
Hooty: Yup! Funny story! Hoot! Hoot!
King: ( groans) Typical Hooty.
King opens the envelope and takes out the letter, as it unfolds a small stone like key falls into his hands.
Christa: What does it say King?
King: "Dear King Clawthorne, if you wish to know who you truly are, come to this location and meet our warrior clan." ( to the others) Guys I think they might be my family.
Christa: Your family?
King: Yeah look, there's a map here at the bottom.
Luz: That's incredible King.
Christa: Wait if this is his family, does this mean this map will take us to the Unknown Isles.
Luz: Maybe, but if not it'll still big step into finding it. Remember King's people lived together with Christa's people.
King: That's not all though. It says here they're a clan of warriors. They can help us stop Belos.
Christa: They can help us find the Unknown Isles.
Luz: And we can finally find out who you are King. Let's go already. Eda you coming?
Eda: You know what? You guys go on ahead, Lily and I we need to talk.
Lilith: We do?
Eda: It's important.
Lilith: Alright fine, Hooty why don't you go with them. Their saftey is your responsibility dear, brave Hootsifer.
Hooty: I will protect these silly children with my life! Oh let me get ready!
Everyone quickly turns away as Hooty gets his Porta Hooty form ready.
Lilith: ( whispers) What do we need to talk about?
Eda: ( whispers) We have to tell the others.
Later
Archimedes had just landed in front of the house and looks through the hole on the door where Hooty is supposed to be.
Archimedes: Uh Eda?
Eda: Come in Archy.
Archimedes enters the house see's also Matti and Seraphina in the room.
Archimedes: I came as quickly as I could. You said this was urgent.
Eda: Have a seat.
Archimedes sits down next to Eda.
Archimedes: Is something wrong?
Lilith: First off we'd like to thank you all for coming here on short notice, but we don't have much time left here.
Seraphina: What are you talking about Lilith?
Matti: Guys if something is wrong please talk to us.
Eda: Archy did Matti tell you about when she was examing Hunter.
Archimedes: The former Golden Guard? Yeah I was skeptical on why he was with you guys. Isn't he the emperor's right hand man?
Eda: There's more to it than that.
Archimedes: Like what?
Eda: ( sighs) A few nights ago, Luz and Christa ventured inside Belos's mind.
After explaining to the others about the girls on what they saw in Belos's mind, the draining spell and Keizer, they too were surprised and speechless. If they were told by someone else they probably wouldn't have believed them. Archimedes rubbed his face, Matti had bit of a worried look and Seraphina just held Lilith's hand.
Eda: I swear everything we just said is true.
Archimedes: Oh no I believe you. I mean I always questioned Belos's ways but this is just...I should have known he wants everyone dead.
Seraphina: So then everything that Belos has told us about wild magic and the Titan not liking it is a lie and he's a witch hunter. Of course it makes sense. But the part I can't wrap my head around is this Keizer. An evil Titan that was supposed to be dead for millions of years is pulling the strings here?
Lilith: All of this is his plan to ressuret himself.
Matti: Who else knows about his?
Eda: Alice was the first one and Luz and Chrissy told their friends. We've been meaning to tell you about this but was also didn't want to scare you.
Archimedes: I'm glad you told us.
Matti: What about Raine? Do they know?
Eda: I'd tell them but I have no way of contacting them. But I feel they should know the most.
Seraphina: Lilith what about your old boss?
Lilith: I've been trying to get in touch with Hipporit. However he's unable to come out of the castle because of Selene running things and is having him focus on other tasks. The only thing I was able to do was write him a letter and hoping he gets it. But there's only two weeks left before the Day of Unity. I'm praying to Titan, our Titan that he gets it.
Archimedes looks at his wrist where his sigil is.
Archimedes: These sigils, no these cursed marks are to drain our magic. You're very fortunate Eda. You made the right choice going rouge, while everyone else including ourselves followed blindly like sheep. We all followed a mad man to our doom.
Eda: Don't say that!
Eda breaks down crying as Archimedes looks concerned.
Archimedes: Whoa, whoa Eda.
Eda: I'm already worried about the kids, I don't need the thought of losing any of you.
Archimedes: E, come here.
Archimedes pulled Eda into a hug trying to comfort her. Matti got up and also tried to comfort her. Seraphina looked sad for her, but then heard sobbing sounds next to her and saw Lilith trying so hard to fight off her tears.
Seraphina: Lilith.
Lilith: ( crying) I just got you back. I just got you back Seraphina.
Seraphina: Lilith, shhh come here.
Seraphina pulled Lilith to a hug and rubbed her back.
LIlith: I don't want to lose you.
Seraphina: I'm not going anywhere love. But what about you. You still have yours.
Lilith: I'm more worried about you than I am myself.
Seraphina: Don't think your live is worth nothing. You mean a lot to me.
Archimedes: E, don't cry. I've never seen you cry like this before.
Eda: After 20 over years of disntancing from your for your protection, I'm finally with you only now with the thought of losing you.
Matti: None of us are going anywhere.
Eda: It's not just you guys. There's the kids also.
Seraphina: Where are they now?
Eda: Off finding a probable clue to the Unknown Isles. But this is really getting out of hand. I thought Luz and Christa were just lost kids but because of me they're wrapped up in this thing with Belos and Keizer.
Archimedes: Eda it's not your fault.
Eda: But with Luz's case I should have just sent her home when I had the chance with the portal and...it's just not fair. They're children they shouldn't have to deal with these things.
Matti: I have to agree. Shouldn't we send them somewhere to hide?
Eda: Where? There's no where to hide if Keizer is going to take over. I-I don't know what to do you guys.
Archimedes: ( hugs her) Shh, it's okay. E, I know things are scary right now and you're under a lot of stress but you're not a alone, we'll find a way. We still have two weeks. We'll stop Belos and we'll protect your kids, I promise.
We then cut to Luz, King, Christa and Hooty ( the latter is strapped to Christa's back) as they rode on Christa's staff to find the island on the map. But then they saw an island up ahead.
King: I think that's it over there.
Hooty: Is that a finger? It's a long way from our Titan.
Christa: Maybe it's not ours. I remember when I stepped in that time pool and met ours, body parts of others were spread all over as a result in the war.
Luz: I still can't believe you actually talked to the Titan.
Christa: His name is Ginga.
Luz: Right, right.
The group landed on the island as they went of the stairs leading to the top. But upon arriving they instead come across a dead end.
Luz: Is anyone here?
Christa: This can't be it.
Hooty: Maybe we're a bunch of early birds.
King: Or maybe they got sick of waiting! The letter was a month old.
Luz: Hold on.
Christa: What is it?
Luz: Look, there's something here.
Upon further inspection on the wall they notice a crack pattern on it. Luz takes out the stone piece from the letter and places it it. The wall began to glow as it engulfed the group.
Luz: Whoa! Hang on guys!
A portal opened up in the sky as they are then flown up into it and warped them to another area but fell bit of height from the sky and Christa once again lands on her face.
Christa: Ow...my face.
Hooty: Oh! CC are you alright. Where's your other arm.
Christa: I think I've only had two as far as I remember Hoot Hoot.
King: Guys look!
The group looks around the area and from the distance and see's a skull of a Titan. Not theirs but this one looked more canine like.
King: Where are we?
Luz: Does this look familiar to you Christa.
Christa: ( nods) Mmm-mmm, this is definitly not the Unknown Isles.
Hooty: Well we're definitly not on the Boiling Isles anymore.
?: That's because you're not.
The group turn around and see's the large figure that gave Hooty the letter approach them with a serious look.
?: Welcome to the other side of the world. Who are you and why...
But then he gasps when he see's King.
Tarak: By the Huntsman, 'tis King! My name is Tarak. Hail and well-met.
King: Uh, y-yeah! 'Tis King!
Luz: Psst! King introduce us.
King: Oh right, uh this Luz and Christa, my two best friends/sisters. Oh and Hooty
Luz: Your warrior-ship.
Christa: Pleasure to meet you.
Luz, Christa and Hooty bow at Tarak.
King: Did you send me that letter? Are... A-are you my-
Tarak: Father? Alas, no. Nor is he here.
King becomes dejected as Tarak walks up to him.
Tarak: ( squats down) But I did send the letter. And by the sight of you, I know he was one of us. He passed down that handsome skull of yours, didn't he?
Christa: ( in her mind) Passed his skull, wasn't King born with it as he told me?
Tarak: Now we celebrate. Everyone will be happy to meet you.
Luz: Who's everyone?
Tarak brings them over to a ledge and shows them a settlement down below.
Tarak: Welcome to Titan Trapper Island!
King gasps and his eyes light up.
Scene changes to show a view of the whole island from far away above the sky. We cut to Tarak bringing the group into the settlement, with plenty of other demons which look like King around.
King: I've never seen so many demons that look like me!
Christa: I know. King look over there.
He notices some warriors training nearby.
King: Look at them go!
Luz: ( whisper) Christa is this looking familiar to you. The journals showed these guys living with the kamerian witches.
Christa: ( whispers) I mean they look like them, but why are they here though. Shouldn't they be living in Kameria?
Tarak: We are Titan Trappers, under oath to protect the world of giant monsters of death and destruction. But uh, not many of us have seen a live one, of course. ( laughs and clears throat) Come!
Tarak leads them to a large building as they enter.
Christa: Wait, you mean you guys hunt monsters.
Tarak: Titans specifically.
Christa: What?
Luz: But aren't Titan's extinct?
Luz and Christa notices something in front and gasps. There was a large skeleton of an unknown creature standing in the middle of the building, looming above everyone. There is also a spiral staircase right in the middle of the building.
Tarak: Not all of them. The Grand Huntsman says one remains, so we sharpen our spears until the vile creature rears its head and a new hunt can begin!
Christa: Hunt it down? Wait but is it necessary? What if it's not a threat.
Tarak: Believe me when I say it is.
Then multiple King-like demons walk up and surround the group.
Tarak: And now, dear King... you can join us and become a Titan Trapper yourself!
King: Weh?!
Luz, Christa and Hooty gasp. Everyone around proceed to cheer.
Luz: Oh, my gosh. King that's amazing.
Christa: We're so glad we found you, because we need your help.
King: That's right! It's a lot to explain right now, but could you- I mean, we, help the people of the Boiling Isles?
Titan Trapper 1: Any enemy of yours is an an enemy of ours!
The crowd continues to cheer as the wisk King away.
Tarak: You're in need of our assistance you say. Tis on your mind?
Christa: Well you see Tarak, we've been searching for your kind because one for King's dad, but also because we wanted to ask why are you here when you should be where I'm from.
Tarak: Where you're from?
Luz: Christa comes from the mysterious Unknown Isles. We've been looking into it a lot lately and we have reason to believe your people lived there as well. So why are you guys here?
Tarak: Hmmm, I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean.
Christa: No?
Tarak: The Titan Trappers have lived here as far as we remember. Perhaps that place was once our ancestors home. Our people have migrated once or twice in ancient history.
Luz: It could be that.
Tarak: I'm sorry I don't know much, but perhaps you should talk to Bill.
Christa: Who's Bill.
Tarak: Our Grand Elder. The wisest Titan Trapper of all, he actually spoke to Grand Huntsman.
Luz: Wait, is his name short for something?
Tarak: Nope, just Bill. He's so cool and my best friend. Eh it's no biggie.
King: Luz, Christa! Look what they gave me!
King came back running to the group holding a large axe like weapon with a jaw on the top
Luz: Oh okay. That' looks kinda pointy.
King: Don't worry. It's mostly paper mache. And bone. They're gonna show me their Titan Trapper ways! ( gasps) I guess they're my ways, too.
Christa: ( giggles) Guess it is. Um why don't you go on ahead. The three of us are going to see the elder.
Luz: You stay here learn all you can to be a Titan Trapper.
King: ( gasp) Really.
Luz: Yeah, just be carefu.
Christa: But most importantly, have fun.
King: Thanks guys, your the best ever!
King runs off to hang with the Titan Trappers.
Hooty: Are you sure it's okay to leave him?
Christa: Let him have this Hooty. Let him catch up with his family.
Luz: Yeah, besides we have work to do.
Luz, Christa and Hooty go up the spiral stairs to meet Bill. As they made it to the top they soon walked through the hallway.
Christa: You know guys as much as I'm happy to see King with his people, something just doesn't seem right.
Luz: I know. This isn't the Unknown Isles and these may not be the same Titan Trappers that lived there.
Hooty: Well these could be decendents. After all aren't the journals you read really old?
Christa: It's not just that. They call themselves Titan Trappers but why? There shouldn't be any Titans left.
Luz: He said not all of them.
Christa: Luz, I've seen the end of the Titan Wars. The only ones left at the time were Ginga and Keizer. I've witness their fierce battle to the death.
Luz: True but those were the only two you ever saw, what about others. OOF!
Luz bumped into something, but looked up and it was rather someone. Standing in front of the trio was large muscular Titan Trapper, he was even bigger than Tarak. He had black fur around his body and had barbarian like clothing with black pants, brown boots and brown vest. He had arm guards around his wrists, but his right hand had what looked like a gattling gun attached to it. His skull was like the other Titan Trappers, but had bull horns and it looked like he had one large pink zaku like eye in it that would move side to side where ever he was looking. He looked down at the group as they looked a little nervous.
Luz: Uh hello, uh we're here to see Bill. Your elder. Do you know where he is?
The large figure didn't answer but rather lead the trio to Bill. They soon found his room and upon entering they a collection of weapons on the wall and a whole rack of swords and spears.
Christa: Whoa.
Luz: These will help us stop Belos for sure.
But the moment Luz touches it, the rack falls apart.
Bill: Tarak is that you? I told you to stop rummaging through my stuff.
The trio turns around and see's a small Titan Trapper, an old one who wore a cyan robe and had a candle on his head.
Bill: Your not Tarak. Who the heck are you?
Luz: Uh greetings. My name is Luz, this is Christa and Hooty. We've...
Bill: What?
Luz: I said my name is...
Bill: I can't hear you!
Luz: I said my name is...
Bill: ( pulls out a horn to his ear) Speak up will ya! I can't hear a thing.
Luz: I SAID, MY NAME IS LUZ, THIS IS CHRISTA AND HOOTY! WE'VE COME TO SEEK AN AUDIENCE WITH THE GREAT BILL!
Bill: ( puts horn away) Alright, alright! You didn't have shout! Yeah I'm Bill. Did Tarak send you up here?
Christa: Uh, yeah. He said you guys are besties. And this guy lead us to you.
Bill: Oh that's just Yakra, my body guard. Now what do you want?
Luz: We're here to ask if you would lend us your mighty warriors. You see, Emperor Belos has threatened to-
Bill: Ha! That upstart on the carcass Kingdom? He's no big deal. I've got battle scars older than his reign as Emperor! Wanna see?
Bill lifts up his shirt to reveal a scar on his torso.
Luz: Uh, we're good.
Christa: Yeah, please put that away. But please understand Mr... Bill, a lot of people are in danger and- and they don't even realize it.
Hooty: Yeah, that dude is straight up evil.
Bill: Hmmm, okay alright we'll help.
Luz: Really?
Bill: Yeah sure whatever, got nothing better to do here.
Luz: Oh great. Well that's one request down.
Bill: One, you mean you have more?
Christa: Just one more but it's not much. You see we're also trying to look for the Unknown Isles and...
Bill: Unknown Isles?
Christa: You know where it is?
Bill: No, but I have read a lot about it. That's where the Grand Huntsman was from.
Luz: Really?
Bill: Yeah, an advanced civilization home of three major residents. The Kamerian witches, the Doragoris clan and the Skull Canis.
Then a confused look formed on their faces.
Luz: Skull Canis?
Bill: Skull Cani demons are the third major species that lived their. I've encountered and read a lot about them. They lived among Kamerian witches and are ferocious beasts.
Christa: Ferocious? That can't be right.
Bill: Of course it is. The Grand Huntsman told me. He said how they're ravanous beasts, know nothing but to kill and destroy. They helped those Kamerians to form weapons of mass destruction to conquere others isles.
Christa: You don't know that! They lived their lives peacefully there!
Bill: How do you know that Missy? You act like you've been there.
Christa: Uh...um, just a...just a wild guess. Uh, what were you saying about the Skull Canis again.
Bill: Well as I was saying before being RUDLY interrupted. The Grand Huntsman spoke to me, he said that things will get completely out of hand when the next Titan is born.
Luz: Next Titan?
Bill: Yes, he told me that one day, one of the Skull Canis would be born as a Titan, more specifically the lost son of the Boiling Isles.
Christa gasps and she then remembers what Ginga said.
Flashback showing Titan Wars with Ginga standing on a dying Ginga as he reached his hand up in the sky and letting out a white light as it disappeared.
Ginga: I may die...but my legacy will live on. One day...a new Titan will be born. One who shares my power. My reincarnation...my...my son.
Flashback ends with a shocked look on Christa's face.
Luz: Uh excuse me but I'm sorry this is a little confusing but you keep talking about Skull Canis and how one of them would be born as a Titan but wouldn't that mean you guys are hunting your kind. Aren't you one?
Bill: What us? Oh no, no, no, no. Disguises see?
Bill pulls up his sleeve showing bare skin and no fur.
Bill: Pretty cool right. To catch a Skull Cani you gotta look like one. We've been hunting them down for years in hopes to find the Titan, but sadly no luck. But I know we'll find him someday.
Luz: Right, oh would you look at the time, welp it's been fun but we gotta go.
Bill: But what about the uh... What were you talking about? Th- Th- The- Your quest. With Belos.
Christa: Oh, you know what? I'm sure it'll work itself out. Really. Oookay, bye!
The trio ubruptly leaves the room.
Bill: Ugh, stupid kids.
But then Bill heard faint "Weh" sound. He looked out the window and saw King hanging with the Titan Trappers.
Bill: It's here. The Titan at last. Yakra, follow them.
Yakra nods and leaves.
Back in the hallway.
Luz: Oh my god! Oh my god, or Titan whatever! This can't be real!. So ( whispers) this isn't King's people, but hunters who hunted down is kind? And he's a Titan?
Christa: ( whispers) Not just any. He's the son and reincarnation of Ginga.
Luz: They're going to kill him if they find out. Let's get King and get out of here.
Christa: Hooty let's go! Hooty?
They noticed Hooty looking into another room as he retracted his neck back to the two.
Hooty: Uh guys. I was looking around to see if I can get a souvenir for Lulu, but I just found something else.
Luz: What is it?
Hooty: Ooklay in the oomray.
Luz: What?
Hooty: Look in that room.
They entered the room and to their shock and horror they found numerous skulls and bones of Skull Canis and murals of the hunters killing them. Christa covered her mouth in shock.
Luz: No.
Christa: All these poor...did they really hunt down all of them. ( gasps) Luz.
Luz looked to where Christa is pointing and in the center of the room and there was a shrine of a familiar figure. A shrine dedicated to a large red eye and another mural of this figure when he once had a body.
Luz: Their god is Keizer?!
Christa: It makes perfect sense. This is all his doing.
Luz: We gotta go, now.
Luz was about to exit but then saw Yakra coming looking for them.
Luz: It's that big trapper. He's coming. Quick hide.
Christa: Where?
Luz: Uh, uh in there!
Luz pointed at another door in the room. They went in and just moments after they did Yakra entered looking around, but soon left.
We cut inside the dark room the trio entered. We don't see anything in the room other than their eyes floating around.
Christa: This is bad Luz. I think they're onto us now and they're going to kill King. What are we going to do?
Luz: I'm thinking. I'm thinking.
We then hear a faint deep breathing sound.
Luz: Hooty I can't think with you breathing down onto my neck.
Hooty: Uh Luz, that's not me.
Luz: Where's there a light? I can't even get a glyph out.
Christa: I got it.
Christa forms a light ball but then the trio turns around as a monster lunged at them. They screamed and jumped back as the monster tried to attack the three, but couldn't reach them due to being chained to the wall.
This monster was a tall biped with green scales all over it's body but the chest was red with green spots. It had red claws on it's hands and feet. Its back had leaf shaped spikes and moth like wings. The head had a v shape crest on it, with green bug like eyes, had sharp teeth with long red fangs. It let out a roar ( stock gabara/doragory roar) that sounded like a gurgling laugh. It kept struggling out of his chains but to no avail.
Luz: What is that thing? Christa?
Luz saw the look on Christa's face. It's the kind of look of her remembering something from her past.
Luz: Christa what is it?
Hooty: CC, what's wrong? CC!
Christa gazed at the monster as her environment has changed. She saw herself with her mom and sister, running through the fires of her town, hearing people screaming and more roars of that monster. She looked back and saw Belos pointing at her and sending two monsters that look like the one they're witnessing after her. As they were closing in on her, she snapped back into reality.
Luz: Christa!
Christa: Let's go now!
The three ran out of the room and as the monster watched them leave he was able to catch a familiar scent from them.
Monster: That smell. They reek of...( sniffs) Skull Cani...( sniffs) Titan!
The monster roared as he began to pull harder onto his chains. He was giving it all he got as we see the chains loosening from the wall.
Meanwhile.
We cut to Tarak showing King a room filled with weapons and mounted skulls.
Tarak: Now... Behold! Our armory.
King: Whoa! There's all sorts of things I shouldn't touch.
Tarak: Aye, for now. But when you grow older, ( chuckles) I will be delighted to show you how to dismember your enemies.
King: ( eagerly) You would do that? Also can I ask a favor? ( sniffs) It's a little silly, but, uh... Can we play catch?
Tarak appears to be surprised by King's request. King looks up at him with teary eyes.
Tarak: ( points somewhere in front )I believe you may find some equipment thither.
King: ( gasps) Thither?
King runs off to the direction Tarak pointed at. A crow phone caws and approaches Tarak from behind.
Tarak: Ah! Bill! Tis Tarak. What sayeth you friend?
Bill: ( on the phone) Shut it. Listen, that kid you're with...
King finds a glove and a ball from a chest nearby. He puts on the glove and throws the ball upwards, intending to catch it, but the ball misses his hand and rolls away. King chases after the ball and picks it up, accidentally bumping into Tarak's butt
King: Tarak, I found them!
The crow phone flies away. Tarak looks back at King with a shocked look on his face.
King: Is... something wrong?
Tarak: Uh, our little game must wait. The time has come to celebrate your... uh... Induction into the Titan Trappers! Come!
King: Oh okay!
Tarak walks out of the room. King throws the glove and ball aside and runs after him.
We cut to outside somewhere on the island. Multiple Trappers have gathered in front of a platform. Bill, Tarak, Yakra and King on the stage the latter with coat and symbol of the Keizer's eye on his forhead.
King: You don't have to go all out like this. I- I'm fine doing a small thing. Family and friends kinda thing.
Tarak: Your presence is very special to us, King. You will now be one of us!
Bill: Alright yeah, yeah let's just get this over with.
Bill places a cover over King's head.
King: Hey what's this for?
Bill: Oh it's uh part of the ceramony. It's to unveil to you when you one of us.
King: Oh okay.
Bill: We're almost done.
Bill takes out a dagger and prepares to stab King.
King: Then we can play catch right?
Bill was about to stab King, but nothing happened as he just stood there for a moment.
Tarak: Uh, did you pull something Bill?
Bill: No, I can't move.
Suddenly Bill was lifted up by an unknown force and thrown off the stage. King felt himself being grabbed by someone as a bright light flashes and disappears.
Tarak: ( gasps) Is this the power of the Titan?
Bill: No you bonehead. It's those girls and their ungodly sock monster. Find them! Don't let them get away!
We cut to King away from the Titan Trappers as Luz, Christa and Hooty become visible after using an invisibilty glyph.
Christa: That was too close. King are you alright?
Luz: ( hugs him) We're so glad your okay.
King however angrily pushes her off.
King: What are you doing?! We were about to play catch.
Hooty: Hey, we just saved your life!
King: You didn't save my life, you ruined my rite of passage!
Christa: King they were about to kill you.
King: What? No, they wouldn't do that. These get me. They know what it's like to be left behind.
Luz: King if this is about your dad...
King: No, well yeah but it's you guys too.
Luz and Christa were taken aback of what King said.
King: I've read your Azura books, I know how it goes. Luz you plan to go back to the human realm and you even promised your mom. Christa you're going to leave as soon as we find your home and family. I...I wanted to prepare myself for the day I have to live a life without any of you.
Christa: Oh King...
Luz: But King they won't help. You're not one of them.
King: Then what am I?
Luz: You're...you're a Titan King.
Christa: You're the son and reincarnation of the Boiling Isles Titan, Ginga.
King's eyes widened in shock and disbelief, but before anything else can be said they were almost hit by a magic projectile. They looked over and saw it was caused by Yakra who fired from his gun hand.
Luz: You stay away from him!
Luz and Christa shielded King ready to fight Yakra. Yakra fired at the two. Christa cancelled the attack by throwing a fire ball at the projectile. Yakra continued to fire as Luz took out an earth glyph and formed a stone wall to shield everyone. She took out an ice glyph and placed it on the ground as ice spikes came to Yakra. He stepped back and was about to fire at Luz until Christa formed a plant vine and wrapped it around his gun hand. Hooty then rammed into his head and knocked him down.
Hooty: Ow! Man those skulls are tough.
But the Yakra reached his hand up and grabbed Hooty by his neck. He swung him around with Christa still carrying him on her back. Christa fell to the ground as Yakra fired at her, but Hooty shielded her and took the hit.
Christa: Hooty!
Hooty: Tell Lulu, how brave I was.
Christa: You can tell her yourself.
Yakra was about to fire at the two unti Luz took out a glyph combo of water and ice. She threw a wave of water at him and the moment it touched he was frozen in place by the ice.
Luz: This isn't goint to hold him long, we have to move!
Tarak: Not so fast.
Tarak, Bill and the other trappers had caught up with weapons in hand.
Tarak: You're not escaping from us.
But then King jumped up to his face and started banging on his head.
King: Stop fighting! I'm one of you guys!
Tarak pushes him off, with his skull helmet as King gasps seeing his true face.
Tarak: You were never one of us. Brothers, sisters! A new hunt begins.
The other titan trappers remove their skull helmets, showing they are witches wearing skin and skulls of the skull cani. Yakra breaks free and joins with Bill.
Bill: At long last I have you Titan. The Grand Huntsman will be pleased and after all these years I will be cloaked with glory above all others.
Bill laughs evily as the others look at him confused.
Tarak: You mean "we" right? You promised the Huntsman would grant us all glory.
Bill: Uh...well...
Hooty: Are skull canis or Titans even evil.
Luz: How much have you been making up?
Christa: Oh he's been making it all up. I know it.
Bill: Uh, don't listen to her! I'm totally not lying. Now give me a spear.
But then they heard a roar from behind. Everyone turns and see's the monster from earlier has broken free, with the chains still attached to him.
Tarak: Doragoris! How did he break free?
Christa: Doragoris?
Doragoris demon: I smell a Skull Cani. The one bearing the powers of a Titan. It's here.
Doragoris sniffs the area and then sets his attention to King.
Doragoris demon: Titan!
The Doragoris roars as he charges at the group.
Bill: You're really annoying us you know that. You three, stop him.
Three Titan Trappers goes up to fight the Doragoris.
Bill: Now where were we? Huh?!
But Bill and the others turn around, Luz and her friends were gone.
Bill: But when did they...but they were just... Tarak where'd they go!
Tarak: I don't know. They must have evaded us again like before. I only looked back for five seconds.
Bill: ARGH! I can't rely on any of you!
Suddenly one of the trappers bodies fell near the two as the Doragoris dealt with them instantly.
Bill: Stop him!
The other trappers charged at him. Doragoris then spat out a heat ray at most of them, knocking them down as others tried to fight him with his weapons. This didn't do much to stop him as the demon was very powerful, using it's brute strenght to fight them off. With most of the trappers down, Tarak went up to him next with his spear. Though he lasted longer and was a capable fighter even able to cut Doragoris a few times, he was soon overwelhmed by his strength. Doragoris clawed him across his face as Tarak tried to stab him in the face with the spear. Doragoris dodged the attack and bit onto the shaft of the spear. He kicked Tarak down and broke the spear in half with his teeth. Tarak layed on the ground and tried to get back up as Doragoris stomped onto his back and roared.
Bill: Yakra, don't just stand there. Do something!
Yakra fired at Doragoris, getting him off Tarak. The two began to fight. Doragoris roared as he clawed across Yakra's chest as Yakra hits him across the head with his hand gun. Yakra fired at Doragoris, who was hit by the attacks and retaliated with a heat ray. Yakra gets back up and fires a longer beam at Doragoris as the latter uses his heat ray at him. The two have a beam clash stand off, but Doragoris overpowers Yakra as he's hit by the blast.
He gets back and fires multiple projectiles at Doragoris, but he ran straight at him and grabs ont Yakra's arm. Doragis bit down onto Yakra's arm, causing him to bleed as Yakra tries hitting him off. But then Doragoris kicks him to the ground rips his arm off the roots. Yakra laid on the ground bleeding out but then Doragoris bit onto the back of his neck and began to twist it.
We cut to Bill's reaction to all this as he winches from the last thing Doragoris did to Yakra. Yakra's decapitated head rolls towards Bills feet as he began to shake. Yakra grabbed Bill by his shirt and lifted him up to his face and growled.
Bill: Wait, wait! You can't be this mad at us for keeping you.
Doragoris demon: Keeping me locked up.
Bill: But, but it was either that you would have died when we found you. I'm sorry just please don't kill me Doragoris.
Doragoris demon: My name is Kalayavan. I would hardly get any pleasure killing you. The titan is mine. Glory for the Doragoris clan!
Kalayavan tosses Bill aside and roars and continues to chase after King and the others.
We cut back to the group who had used another invisibility glyph to get away from the fight. They made it to the platform from where they came from. They could hear Kalayavan's roars getting closer.
Luz: Time to go home!
Luz slams the rock from King's letter into the hole, reactivating the portal which pulls them upwards as Kalayavan watches on.
Kalayavan: Titan! ( roar)
We cut to the group coming out from the other end, but they fall from a great height as scream. Hooty extends his body and proceeds to wrap himself around the large finger nearby, successfully slowing down their fall and letting Luz, Christa and King land gently on the ground.
Christa: Thank you Hoot Hoot.
But then they hear Kalayavan's roar as he looks up at the group from the other end. He opened his wings and flew up to them.
Luz: We can't let him get through. We have to destroy the entrance.
Christa: If I can just...( closes her eyes and tries to activate her power)...come on magic power work. Oh why cant it work I really need it.
King: Stand back.
King takes a few steps forward, takes a few deep breaths, then lets out a loud sonic scream. The sound waves create some cracks on the finger structure, causing the entire thing to come tumbling down. The portal starts shrinking as Luz picks up King and turns away, trying to shield him. Hooty then proceeds to wrap himself around everyone to protect them. The portal then explodes, creating a powerful blast which brings up a massive amount of dust and rocks the water in the ocean.
The group is then covered by a thick layer of dust brought upon by the blast. A while later, Hooty pokes his head out from the pile of dust. He uncovers himself as everyone all look up in shock. Where the finger was at, there is now only a pile of rocks left, which is still smoking. King looks up at the rocks sadly. Luz, Christa and Hooty turn their heads to look at King, who then walks up to Christa's leg and hugs her.
Christa: King are you okay?
King: I want to go home.
Luz kneels down and picks King up, holding him and rubbing his back
Luz: Yeah, lets go.
We then cut to Christa flying everyone home. She could feel King holding onto her as Luz was trying to comfort him. Before Christa could say anything to King, she felt the pulse within her body again. Everything around her went silent as she knew what this was.
Ginga: So you found him.
Christa: ( communicatint with telepathy) Ginga. Is it true?Is King here really a Titan, is he your son?
Ginga: You remember my last moments how I said a new Titan with my power would one day be born. After Keizer's first awakening that was a sign the world needed a new guardian. Because the Skull Canis helped the Kamerian witches to stop him the first time that's when the universe knew how the Titan would be born. It saw how these creatures were worthy to have one of their kind to possess my power. He's not like me as one but rather born as a Skull Cani with my blood flowing through his veins. He is who he is because of me, in a way he is my son. But, it seems Keizer knew of this and used the Titan Trappers to hunt down the Skull Canis to stop this. He wants to be the only living titan so he can be alpha. He doesn't want any to challenge him.
Christa: Are they really all dead?
Ginga: That I am unsure. I only have my own knowledge from my life and only know what is happening now through your perspective.
Christa: But are you saying King was born to fight Keizer?
Ginga: You are not the only one who can stop him.
Christa: He's just a baby Ginga.
Ginga: He maybe young, but he possess great power like yours. But it seems he's only scratched the surface of it. I told you how he would restore balance to the world.
Christa: I know but still. I don't want him to deal with something this big.
Christa places her hand behind her and on King's head as he placed one of his hands on hers.
Christa: I'll destroy Keizer so he won't have to.
Ginga: Christa...
Christa: He's been desperate looking for you. Do you wish you could see him.
Ginga: Even though we were never meant to meet each other, I wish I could talk to him and tell him I'm sorry.
As they continued to fly away we cut back to the remains of the portal on the island. The debris began to rumble and bursting out of it was Kalayavan roaring.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. Another retelling I planned to do but of course add my lore to it and finally bring in more about the Doragoris clan.
Some of you were probably confused whether King was still going to be a Titan here or not, but of course I wanted to stick to that. If I strayed away from that plot element in this story, it was because at the time I started this and when I got to " Echoes of the Past", "Eda's Requiem" and " Knock, knock, knockin at Hooty's Door", the second half of season 2 wasn't out yet and I had zero idea of the Titan Trappers, who Tarak was or if he was King's father. I bet known of us could have predicted they were hunters wearing Titan skin and skulls. I was prepared to explain who he was and where he came from and wasn't planning on making King a Titan because while people speculated this, I thought so too for a while but then not as much as I questioned if then why does the Boiling Isles Titan look different from King.
But of course when the episode aired before I wrote " The Titan Wars" I was able to retcon it back in but add a different concept to it than what we got in the show. Instead of King being part of the Titan race, it's more her was born with the special gift and destined to be one, taking elements similar to Avatar the Last Airbender and even the Bible.
Oh and you might have noticed the title page has changed. I was able find a couple Owl House fan character generator and I was able to make Christa with it. I just noticed a lot of people have their fan characters on their pages and I thought I should do the same. What you see now is supposed to be story accurate although I had to make some edits to it like the right shade of red and the gem on her head, but hope you all like it.
The following contains my thoughts and spoilers for the second season 3 special " For the Future." Do not read any further if you don't want to be spoiled.
Okay so as you all know we got the second special of season 3, For the Future and what an episode that was. So where do I begin.
Well first of all I like opening scene of what happened next after King sent Luz into the portal and we finally see what the Collector has done to Boiling Isles, turning it into a almost Mabel's fantasy land in Gravity Falls and all the inhabitants into puppets. We do see many characters again. King is here, also Eda and Lilith now both sporting new looks and hairstyles, guess it makes sense since it is now a post apocolyptic world but I do like how Lilith is back with her natural hair color. Hexside students are back with the most notable Boscha and Mattholomule and even Kikimora.
But the main parts of the episode I liked were the subplot of Willow trying to stay strong for everyone to support them but she's really hurting worried about her dads but Gus and Hunter are there, the latter we get a moment with her and I knew he would get magic from Flapjack. I liked the scene of Boscha and Amity where the former tries to get her back but Amity keeps turning her down and seems to imply that Boscha had a crush on Amity. We got more of the Collector here and learn more about him of how he may be a wild child who wants to have fun, he's also lonely and it seems King does want to help rather than trap him again but it seems Belos is now manipulating him. Also what is up with these Disney villains having floating castles. First Bill Cipher, then King Andrias and now the Collector.
But of course the scene I want to talk about is Luz's character development and her palisman. While she was still feeling guilty about her actions and was still planning to stay in he world after this was over, we get a great moment with her and her mom and she finally regains some hope and reassurance which leads to her palisman egg hatching into Stringbean she was adorable. I really thought her palisman was going to be a bat, otter or snake but I think this was the best approach here and while I'm not sure if this fully changes her mind, it is a big step for her character arc.
Now was there anything I didn't like, not really no. I mean maybe too much of this was at the school but this episode was talking about the future so maybe that was the idea and you're taking a big story and cramming it into three specials. Okay well if you ask me I think Boscha could have had a better character arc, I'm not saying make her all good and nice but more, I guess a little less arrogant and somwhat compassionate, maybe go with something like Sasha in Amphibia. Also I really was hoping we see the Titan Trappers again since they're worshippers of the Collecter, but I guess they were one time characters.
There's only one special left and the final part of the show. Will this story still be going when that comes, I'm not sure but I hope so I can share it with you guys. And for those of you wondering if I'm going to adapt this special, all I can say is much like Thanks to Them, I'm not sure but will try to bring some plot elements into it, same for the final episode if this is still here. But that's enough I'm taking too much time here.
