Chapter 54: Glory for the Doragoris Clan

Part 1

The scene begins with King, but he seemed to be inside his egg as he remembered when he reattached his horn. His eyes squinted open as he heard the crashing sound and a roar. But that wasn't all. He then heard more rumbling and an explosion. He heard loud footsteps approaching and then he saw the silouhette of the Doragoris demon, Kalayavan standing and looking down roaring.

King wakes up and see's he's in Luz's arms.

Luz: You okay bud?

King: Yeah just, just had a werid dream.

Christa: We're home.

The group made it back to the Owl House. They entered and saw Eda and Lilith sitting on the couch talking ( their friends have left hours ago), but then stopped talking after seeing them enter.

Luz: Eda we're back.

Eda: Oh back already? How'd it go? King did you find your people?

Eda then saw the tired looks on their faces.

Eda: You kids okay? You look exhausted. Did something happen?

Christa: A lot actually.

Lilith: What happened? Hootsifer what happened to you? You look hurt.

Hooty: Oh I'm okay Lulu. I did what you said. Hoot...ow.

Eda: Alright, come sit down.

Lilith: Tell us what happened.

Scene then cuts minutes later as Luz, Christa and King told Eda and Lilith about what happened with the Titan trappers as the latter listened while tending to Hooty's minor wounds.

Eda: So they're not part of Christa's home nor are they King's family?

Luz: No they weren't and they tried to sacrifice King.

Eda: Sacrifice? What?!

Luz: They're were really Titan trappers. They've been hunting down King's kind. They're followers of Keizer.

Eda: ( groans) Him again.

Lilith: But why though?

Christa: Well uh...maybe because we found out King is a Titan.

Eda: Oh. Really? Well I guess it makes sense I mean...WAIT WHAT?!

Lilith: HE'S A WHAT?!

Christa: Well, more specifically he's the son of Ginga.

King: I guess this means I'm due for a growth spurt.

Eda and Lilith just stared at them jaws dropping and completely speechless.

Lilith: Wait, wait. So he's the son of Ginga? Our Boiling Isles, Titan.

Luz: Yes.

Lilith gasped and kneeled down to King.

Lilith: You're majesty, I am here to serve you.

King: Oh no this is really not necessary.

Lilith: Oh but it is. What can I get you all great one. Food, money, ice cream, an animal sacrifice?

King: No, I just...I...I just want to be alone right now.

King gets up and leaves upstairs. Once he was gone, Eda smacks Lilith at the back of her head.

Eda: Nice going Lily.

Lilith: I was trying to appease him.

Eda: He maybe a Titan but he's still a Clawthorne. Your nephew.

Lilith: ( sighs) You're right. I'm sorry. ( Silent giggles) Still I can't believe I'm the aunt of a god.

Luz: I don't think it's that, but something else.

Christa: Should we go talk to him?

Luz: Give him a little a time alone. We'll talk to him soon.

Later that night.

We cut to King in his room. He was holding Francois and was looking up at Jean Luc. He had a lot on his mind about today. He was expecting to find his family there, but that was a lie and then he finds out he's Titan. He ddin't truly know what to make of all this or what it meant. He just kept looking at Jean Luc.

King: All this time you were trying to protect me. From them.

King placed his hand onto him. Suddenly for a brief second a blue flash of light formed around him the moment he touched him. King backed away confused of what happened. Then he heard a knock at the door.

Luz: King? Can we come in?

King: Oh yeah sure.

Luz and Christa enters the room.

Luz: You alright bud?

King: Yeah, I guess.

Christa: King, we need to talk.

Christa and Luz sat down with King.

King: Is this about me being a Titan?

Luz: More than that. It's about what you said earlier.

Christa: You were preparing to live in a world without us?

King: ( sighs) Yeah I was. Is that so bad?

Luz: King you know I always planned to go back home. I can't leave my mom.

King: I know. I'm sorry, I was being selfish.

Luz: Don't be sorry. King just because I'm trying to go back to my world, it doesn't mean I'm never going to see you again.

King: But your family is there.

Luz: You're my family too. You, Eda, Lilith, Hooty and Christa. And then there's Amity and all my friends. I worked hard to be a witch here and met so many amazing people. I'm not just going to throw it all away. Maybe I won't live here, but I'll always come visit you. I'll even take you to my world now and then. There's so much I want to do with you guys there.

King: R-Really? That includes all the human snacks right?

Luz: ( rubs his back) Yes. Come on you know me better than that. I'm no deserter.

Christa: None of us are going to leave you King. You guys have done so much for me. You've been taking care of me and helping me find my home and I don't want to stop being with you guys. You and I come from the same world, so you and I are practically neighbors. ( rubs his head) I promise I'll come visit you as well. We'll always be here for you King.

King took her hand and laid his head onto her.

King: Guys, what do you make about me and being a Titan?

Luz: It's, well it was completely unexpected. But isn't this in a way what you wanted? When I first met you, you went on and on about how you thought you were the King of Demons and that you commanded armies. But then we found where you came from and Eda told the truth, you were devestated that it was a lie, but not really.

King: Yeah, I did. I always wanted to have power and to command respect, and fear! So now that I kinda have, why do I feel like...I dont know like my stomach feels all...ugh.

Christa: Well, desires can change and people too.

King: Yeah but, I don't want people to see me as a big scary monster anymore.

Luz: I totally understand.

King: Guys, can we uh, not make this a big thing.

Luz: Sure we can. Actually Eda says we should keep your Titan identity a secret. Just between us six.

Christa: ( picks him up) And you being a Titan doesn't change a thing for us. You'll always be our little brother King and we love you.

Christa hugs King and kisses his head. King hugged her back and she gave him to Luz as she also kissed and hugged him.

King: Thank you guys. I'm so glad I have you both as my sisters.

The two smiled as they continued to comfort King.

Luz: Same with us.

Christa: Just glad you're safe.

Next day.

Everyone was downstairs as Luz, Christa and King were stuck in a middle of dumb arguement between Eda and Lilith.

Lilith: I told you to stop leaving your dirty bra and panties all over the bathroom! It makes me uncomfortable to use it.

Eda: And I told you to use the brush before you got into the shower! Your hair clogs the drain!

Lilith: That's your hair!

Eda: No I see yours in there as well.

Lilith: Only a small part. I had to clean out the drain and found huge chunks of your hair in it. When was the last time you cleaned it out?

Eda: Eh, I don't know. For as long as I can remember?

Lilith: And that's another thing. You keep things inside your hair. That is so unsanitary!

Eda: Are you kidding? It's like a giant purse for me.

Eda reaches into her hair and pulls out a bag of cheese puffs. She opens it up and eats one.

Eda: Mmm, danerously cheesy.

Lilith: We're getting completely off topic here. Can you please pick up your laundry and brush your hair?

Eda: Okay alright, no need to get all preachy.

Lilith groans and pinches her face.

Hooty: Uh guys.

Eda: Not now Hooty we're in the middle of something.

Hooty: This really can't wait.

Eda turns around and everyone else looks over to see what's wrong. To their shock they saw Seraphina on her knees and hurt.

Lilith: Seraphina!

Lilith ran over to her. Upon closer look she saw how Seraphina was hurt, she had scratches on her back, waist, stomach, chest and her arms, her left arm had bite marks and was bleeding bad.

Seraphina: Lilith.

Lilith: Hold on.

Lilith tried to help her up as Hooty stretched over to help also.

Eda: I'll try to get hold of Matti.

Luz: I'll get the first aid kit.

Later.

Luz, Christa and Lilith were tending to Seraphina. He torn clothes were set aside as she was given some of Liliths old clothes ( from her previous design) as they tended and bandaged her injuries.

Lilith: Could you go get some more water and clean rags?

Luz: Sure thing.

Luz and Christa does so as Lilith used her cloth and dunked it into water. She washed it across Seraphina's stomach as she winched.

Lilith: Are you okay?

Seraphina: It hurts like hell.

Lilith continued washing her stomach. Most of her blood was washed off as Lilith went down and placed a few kisses on her stomach. Seraphina giggled as she placed her hand across Lilith's face.

Seraphina: You always knew how to make me feel better.

Lilith held her hand as she got up and began to wrap bandages around her stomach. The others returned and were almost done bandaging her.

Eda: Got off the phone with Matti. She's completely booked right now with her work until later tonight.

Seraphina: It's okay Eda. This will do fine for now. Thank you all. I'm sorry for coming in like this.

Luz: What happened to you Seraphina?

Seraphina: I was attacked.

Lilith: By a demon? But you're so careful with these things.

Seraphina: What I encountered was not normal demon.

Flashback.

A little while earlier.

We see Seraphina who was flying over the forest doing her ranger patrol. Until she heard a small explosion. She looked over and saw smoke and quickly flew over. She landed down and hid in a tree as she watched was was happening.

She saw Legion of Five members Mikela and Voffa, with them was a choju. It was quadrapedal rat like choju about the size of a bear. It had black fur with a spinosaurus dorsal fin on it's back. Had red claws on his hands and feet. The tail was red with dorsal spikes coming down. The head while resembling a rat had jackson chameleon horns and ears the size of an african elephant and tusks. It also had sharp teeth and red glowing eyes.

Mikela: Now Nezura, fire again but more power.

Nezura roared ( stock Takkong/ Re-Bemstar roar) and opened his mouth as he fired a blue heat ray at the tree. This was scaring the birds and small demon animals out of them as Seraphina watched in disgust as this was against the nature laws.

Voffa: You really think this will help us win this time?

Mikela: He'll have Bakshin with him. If we can get those Owl crooks Belos will be pleased.

Seraphina listened so far but she wasn't going to let those two get her friends and girlfriend. She was about to jump down when suddenly she heard another roar. This one she's never heard though as it sounded like like a gurgling laugh. Mikela and Voffa also looked confused and looked around.

Mikela: What was that?

Then entering the area was Kalayavan. Roaring at the two.

Voffa: What is that thing?

Kalayavan roared and approached the two.

Mikela: Nezura attack!

Nezura roared and ran at Kalayavan knocking him down. Kalayavan fell onto his back as Nezura got ontop of him and bit down onto his arm. Kalayavan hits him on the head a couple times at Nezura lets go. Kalayavan got back up as he fired his heat ray at Nezura. Nezura got hit as he fired his own heat ray at Kalayavan. Kalayavan fired his own heat ray again as the two rays clashed and created and explosive light. Mikela and Voffa stepped back covering their eyes as Nezura fell back.

Kalayavan opened up his wings and started flapping at Nezura. It was creating a yellow powder and as Nezura breathed into it, he started coughing. Kalayavan roared and grabbed Nezura by his tail. He twirled him around and threw him aside. Kalayavan ran at him but Nezura hits him across the face with his tail.

Nezura charged at Kalayavan as his horns stabbed him in the stomach. Kalayavan roared and pounds Nezura's head. Once he was down he stomped down onto Nezura's head, multiple times until he broke his horns. Kalayavan then bit down onto the back of his neck as Nezura roared in pain. Kalayavan just kept biting down until Nezura stopped struggling. Kalayavan lets go of Nezura as he falls to the ground dead and finishes him off with a heat ray.

Kalayavan turned to Mikela and Voffa as the two readied themeselves to fight, but then Kalayavan stops as he began to smell something from them.

Kalayavan: That smell.

Mikela: It can talk?

Voffa: Shush! Don't provoke it.

Kalayavan: You have the scent of the Savior.

Voffa: The Savior? We don't know a Savior.

Kalayavan: Do you know someone by the name of Belos?

Mikela: You know Emperor Belos?

Kalayavan: He is the Savior of my people.

Mikela: Your people. What exactly are you?

Kalayavan: I am Kalayavan. Fiercest member of the Doragoris clan.

Voffa: Doragoris clan? Never heard of it.

Kalayavan: I must see Belos.

Kalayavan then picked up another smell.

Mikela: What are you doing?

Kalayavan: I smell something.

Kalayavan turned around and fired a heat ray at the tree Seraphina was in. She fell off and onto the ground. She reached for her staff as Kalayavan stepped down onto her hand as she looked up.

Kalayavan: Smells like a spy?

Flashback ends.

Seraphina: I couldn't tame him and I couldn't beat him. Even when I used my feral state he still was hard to fight. I'm lucky to even make it out of there.

Lilith: I'm so glad your okay. If you got killed I...I...

Seraphina: Shh, it's okay Lilith. I'm still here.

Luz: Wait, hold on.

Luz left the room quickly to get her notes she wrote down from Phillip's journal. She hurried back down as she went through the notes she had in mind.

Luz: Seraphina is this it?

Luz showed her the note she found as Seraphina's eyes widened when she saw the silouhette illustration of Kalayavan on it.

Seraphina: Yes. Yes it was this one.

Eda: From the journal?

Luz: ( reads it) During my time at the Unknown Isles, I witnesses the intense rivalry between Kameria and the Doragoris Clan. They were not at all like the other inhabitants. The Kamerians describe them as demons bred to be fighters. Very aggressive and strong, built to take on any creature their size. They believe soley in survival to the fittest and that the strong should only live. Their fangs are as sharp as any blade, can see in the dark and can breathe an intense heat ray. Capable of flight and can produce a foul pollen. I was told how they often tried to invade Kameria to take as much land. Though they've been a problem and their population was small compared to the Kamerians and Skull Canis, they were eventually sealed away by the Priestess in their cave using the Eye. With no way out, I hoped I'd never have to deal with them again.

Christa: Doragoris?

King: Wait, that's that same monster that we encountered.

Eda: Wait you three encountered this thing?

Christa: Did we not say we did?

Eda: No.

Christa: Oh...uh ( nervous chuckles) oops.

Lilith: Wait, these things are supposed to be native to the Unknown Isles. A place that we can't even find. How can one of them be here?

Luz: The one we came across, he must have made it through the bridge and now he's here. He's here to...

Luz stopped talking since she didn't want to blurt out that Kalayavan was after King because was a titan in front of Seraphina. She went over to Eda and whispered to her.

Luz: ( whispers) He tried to get King.

Eda looked over at King and had a worried look on her face.

Christa: So then what do we do? What if he comes here?

Eda: We aren't going to let him get here. Just stay calm. Sera you stay with us for your saftey. Matti will be here tonight to heal you.

Seraphina: Thank you Eda.

Eda: Lily, let's go out.

Christa: Wait where are you going?

Eda: We're going to stake out and track the Doragoris.

Luz: Then we're coming too.

Eda: Oh no. You kids stay here.

Seraphina: Wait Eda you're not thinking of fighting this thing. I'm not even sure if your harpy form is enough to beat him.

Eda: We're not going to fight him. We're just going to track where he is and know if he's getting close to here.

Lilith: We should also make sure he's not taken by Mikela and Voffa. If those two had control of him it would be bad news.

Eda: Once we know what's going on, we'll come back and we can think of a plan.

Luz: But...

Eda: Luz please just listen to me. Stay here and just take care of Seraphina. Tell you what if we're not back in an hour, you can come out and find us. Okay?

Luz: ( sighs) Alright.

Seraphina: Lilith don't.

Lilith: We'll be okay. Just stay here and rest.

Lilith kisses her head.

Seraphina: Be careful my love.

Lilith goes over to Eda as they both transform into their harpy forms.

Harpy Eda: We'll be back okay.

Luz: If you're not back in an hour we're coming.

Harpy Eda: I know. I know you will.

Eda and Lilith exit the house and fly off as the others look worried for the two.

Luz: I really wanted to go.

Christa: I'm worried for them as well.

Seraphina: Have faith in them. I've known those two since school. As long as they're together they can get through any challenges.

King however looked down as he had a bad feeling.

King: ( in his mind) I hope they can.

Meanwhile.

We cut to Mikela and Voffa as they introduced Kalayavan to Emperor Belos in his throne room.

Mikela: Oh great and powerful Emperor Belos. Forgive us for our intrusion.

Voffa: But we have someone here who claims to know you.

Kalayavan stepped forth as Belos gazed at him.

Kalayavan: It is you. Our Savior.

Belos doesn't respond to him just yet but sets his attention to Mikela and Voffa.

Emperor Belos: Leave us.

Voffa: Oh uh, yes of course.

Mikela: I get it. Need some time to catch up. We'll be outside.

The two leave the throne room as Belos gets up and approaches Kalayavan as the latter kneels to him.

Kalayavan: I found you at last great savior.

Emperor Belos: Kalayavan. I haven't seen you in years. You disappeared when you and your group left to find the nursury home of the new Titan that Commander Magnus was guarding. Did you do so?

Kalayavan: Though we have discovered it's hiding place, I have not yet been able to kill it.

Emperor Belos: You what?!

Kalayavan: I couldn't before. I tracked down Commander Magnus and where he was hiding the Titan egg. My clan members had fallen from his troops and sentinals. But even a large number was not enough to stop me. I destroyed them all and I came for Magnus and his egg. We fought to the death, but in the end I disembowled him, but...

Kalayavan motioned to a scar on his chest.

Kalayavan: He stabbed me here, he knew he couldn't kill me if I killed him. I woke up next thing in chains as I was taken by the Titan Trappers. I was lucky that he missed my vital organs, but I was now a slave. They kept me alive for years, feeding me the ninmenka fruit to keep me from dying of age. They kept me in chains and only let me out to hunt for the remaining Skull Canis. None that I found were Titans, until now.

Emperor Belos: You mean you found the long lost son of Ginga?

Kalayavan: He is here. I will devour him and take back what is mine. What belongs to my clan.

Emperor Belos: Then you know what you must do. I saved your clan from being entombed for eternity. I let you all free to have your land if you helped me overthrow that Priestess.

Kalayavan: I remember what you did for us. For that my clan and I forever grateful. I will finish I started.

Emperor Belos: Take Mikela and Voffa with you. I'm sure they will be great assistance. Oh and return here when you are done. So I can...congratulate you.

Kalayavan: I obey! ( roars) Glory for the Doragoris Clan!

Meanwhile

We cut to Eda and Lilith flying around forest areas where Seraphina encountered Kalayavan.

Harpy Lilith: It's been 45 minutes Edalyn. We still haven't found this Doragoris. He could be anywhere at this point.

Harpy Eda: Keep searching Lilith. He has to be around this area. I'm not letting him get to King or any of my kids. We talked about this remember.

Harpy Lilith: I know we did. But if we were gone for too long she and Christa will come out.

Harpy Eda: I had to. Knowing her she would sneak out and follow me. Atleast with right now she'll stay for a while.

Suddenly a lightning beam from the ground fired at Lilith. She yelled from the hit fell to the ground.

Harpy Eda: Lilith!

Eda then got hit by a red projectile attack as she also fell to the ground on top of Lilith.

Mikela: Well, well, well. Look who it is.

The two look over and see's Mikela and Voffa with ten Dorodoros with them.

Mikela: How's it been Owl Lady, Lilith? Glad you can "drop" by. Ah ha! Hahaha! Get it? Hahaha!

Voffa: It wasn't that funny brother.

Harpy Eda: ( gets up) Great, these bozos.

Voffa: Oh but it's not just us this time.

Eda and Lilith heard a growling sound and turned around. They saw Kalayavan approaching the two.

Harpy Eda: Doragoris.

Kalayavan: Please call me Kalayavan, as horrible as death. ( sniffs) You two reek blood of a witch. One that got away.

Lilith growled and clawed his face as he stepped back a little.

Harpy Lilith: ( charges at him) You'll pay for what you did to Seraphina!

Harpy Eda: Lilith no!

Lilith flew at Kalayavan with her clawed hand. Kalayavan grabbed her face before she could hit him. He punched her in the stomach and then threw her to the ground.

Harpy Eda: Hey no one does that to my sister!

Eda let's out a shriek and flies at him. Kalayavan raised his clawed hand at Lilith until Eda grabbed it, punches him at the neck and tossed him aside. She got on top of him and began punching him in the face. Kalayavan hits her across the face getting her off of him. Once she was off, he grabbed her by her neck and lifted her up strangling her.

Kalayavan: ( sniffs) I smell something else. A kamerian witch, a human and...the Titan. You're hiding him aren't you. Tell me where he is and perhaps I may let you continue breathing.

Harpy Eda: I'd rather die than tell you.

Kalayavan: I can arrange that.

Kalayavan opened his mouth wide as Eda could see the light of the heat ray forming. But right before he could do anything to her, Lilith got back up and jumped at him at his neck and pulled him away from Eda as he completely misses her and fires at the air. Kalayavan grabbed Lilith by her wing and pulled her off her back, but he dropped Eda as she punched him a few times in the stomach making her drop Lilith. Kalayavan roared and fired his heat ray at the two, which they dodged. The flew around him as he kept firing at him.

Voffa: I think he's having trouble.

Mikela: I don't know, but I'm getting impatient. I want this done and over with. Choju Bakshin attack!

Mikela staff glows as it shoots a fireball at the ground, forming another choju. He stood in a biped stance and was as big as Kalayavan. His body was a black but around his shoulders and back neck were long red lumps that looked like sea coral. His hands and feet and three claws like a sloth and had a crocodile like tail. The head resembled that of a styracosaurus with red eyes. It roared ( stock Showa Baragon roar) and went to join Kalayavan.

Bakshin hit Lilith with his tail keeping her away from Eda and Kalayavan. He then breathed fire at her. Lilith quickly got away but held her arm as the flames did burn her there. Bakshin then charged at her like a bull or rhino to ram into her. She grabbed him by his head and tried to hold him back.

Eda was still fighting Kalayavan. She flew up but then he opened his wings and flew after her. The two fought in the air. Eda was faster than him but lacked any long range attacks. Kalayavan breathed his heat ray again at her. He finally landed a hit at her as she fell. Kalayavan landed down and onto her back. Eda yelled out in pain as Kalayvan kept beating down at her. He picked her and swiped her across the face.

But then things took a turn. The ground began to shake and bursting out of the ground was a familiar demon that Eda onced faced. Termatra the termite demon with his mandibles regrown. It seems the fighting must have woken him up and is now agitated.

Harpy Eda: Not you again.

Termatra roared as he came at Eda. He rammed into her as she kicked him. Termatra roared and grabbed hold of her. Eda hits him on the head but then she was hit by Kalayavan's tail. Termatra then grabbed Eda with his mandibles and began to crush her and shake her around. He tossed her aside. Bakshin had just rammed into Lilith as she fell next to Eda. They were both near Mikela and Voffa, the former fired lightning beam from his staff and the latter fired a red beam from his eye. The two were flown off as they barely got off from the ground.

Harpy Lilith: Edalyn, we're out numberd.

Harpy Eda: Keep it together. Just hold on.

Kalayavan roared as he began to flap his wings at the two, creating his pollen. They inhaled some of it as the stench started making them cough and fall to their knees.

Mikela: And now comes the part of uh...uh...finishing you!

Voffa: Weak line brother.

Mikela and Voffa laughed maniacally as they along with the Dorodoros, Kalayavan, Bakshin and Termatra roaring closed in for the kill.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. Sorry to end it on a cliffhanger like this, I thought this would be only one but this was going too long. Also wanted to give you guys something shorter to read thistime, but I'll get to the next chapter as soon as possible. As you all know, the finale to the show " Watching and Dreaming" is coming soon April 8th and we got the trailer. But everyone be careful. This usually means leaks of spoilers will be surfacing so be careful. But we still got a long way here. I swear I thought this story would end before the final episode but no.
