Chapter 57: Get the Girl

Earlier that same day.

Shadam was speaking to Belos in his throne room.

Emperor Belos: You did what Shadam?

Shadam: Your nephew's health condition is my result. I casted the Scorpion's Curse on him.

Emperor Belos: The Scorpion's Curse?! Do you have any idea what you've done?

Shadam: I never intended it on him but on that Christa. He took the shot for her.

Emperor Belos: Either way you still cursed him.

Shadam: But my lord, he intentionally let your palisman go. The one night at Latissa.

Emperor Belos: Hunter did what? He told me he crashed his airship losing the cargo. Has he been betraying me this whole time?

Shadam: He was a traitor from the start Emperor Belos. That's why I left it on him. But I now know that I made a mistake. That you want him in alive. It's not too late I can lift it from him. I will bring him back here alive.

Emperor Belos: Shadam, you know you had no right to place the curse and leave it on him without my permission. I would be very disappointed in you. However, you never steered me wrong. You've served me well in the past and I know you will fix it.

Shadam: I will. Just give me a chance.

Emperor Belos: Then go. Bring Hunter back.

Shadam begins to leave the throne room.

Emperor Belos: And Shadam...

Shadam turns around to look back at Belos.

Emperor Belos: If you fail, don't bother showing your face here again.

Shadam: Yes Emperor Belos.

Scene then cuts back to the present.

Selene: What do you mean you may not come back?

Shadam: I've figured a technique that can lift the curse, but I also had a vision of my own death.

Selene: How do you die?

Shadam: I was killed by either the human Luz, Christa or the Golden Guard.

Selene: By one of them? Two out of the three is out of the question. Luz and the Golden Guard don't possess real magic.

Shadam: But Christa does. I fought those three once at Lattissa. That was the night I placed the curse on the Golden Guard. I can lift it but doing so may lead to my death.

Selene: So don't go. Let him die. We'll just say he died from something else.

Shadam: I already informed Belos of what I did. He said either come back with the Golden Guard alive or don't come back at all.

Selene: So what you're saying is your a dead man no matter what you do?

Shadam: Yes.

Selene: So what do you want me to do?

Shadam: There's nothing you can do.

Selene: So then why are you even telling me this?

Shadam: Selene, the visions the monks have aren't always true. They show you possibilities of your future but it doesn't mean it will happen. I don't plan on dying but if I don't come back, I want you to know that it has been an honor working with you these past twenty years part of the Legion of Five and proud of you for accomplishing your dream of being Head Witch. I don't normally say this, but you were the only real friend I had after my Master Dozzle.

Selene: Stop acting like you're going to die! Just don't go!

Shadam: This is the way.

Shadam walks past Selene as he leaves.

Selene: Shadam.

Shadam: Goodbye Selene.

Shadam leaves as Selene just stood their and watched clenching her fist.

Next Day

We cut to the whole Hexsquad including Hunter at Alice's mansion. After both sides dealing with their own troubles simutaneusly, the finally got back together as they both shared what happened that day.

Luz: You guys were attacked by Satarakura?!

Amity: He tried to place sigils on everyone.

Willow: And he really gave Gus a hard time.

Christa: ( hugs Gus) Oh Gus are you alright? Did he hurt you?

Gus: I'm okay Christa.

Christa: I'm so sorry he tormented you. I swear had I been there ( eyes glow and hair flows up while voice changes intesly) I WOULD HAVE DESTROYED HIM!

Gus: It's okay. It's fine. He won't be bothering us again and Hunter saved me back there.

Hunter: ( scratches back of his head) Uh yeah. It was nothing.

Amity: Oh and Willow kicked butt that day.

Willow: Yeah but I couldn't have done it without you.

Willow and Amity high fives.

Alex: Hey I helped with both sides you know.

Willow: ( pats his head) Oh we know Alex. I can never forget you.

Luz: So you told Principle Bump and the school about the Draining spell and Keizer?

Hunter: Yeah.

Luz: So what is everyone else doing now?

Willow: Principle Bump and the teachers sent everyone home and informed our families to take refuge.

Luz: But if the school knows, shouldn't this convince everyone that Belos is a witch hunter.

Hunter: It's still a small percentage. While they believe me, this news is coming from me. A traitor. Belos will say whatever to deny this. Everyone wants to believe they're soon entering paradise.

Christa: ( sighs) Well shouldn't you guys do the same and duck and cover.

Amity: We're not letting you three deal with this by yourself. ( holds Luz's hand) Luz faced Belos alone once and if she has to face him again, I'm going to be there with her.

Luz: ( squeezes her hand) Aw Ami.

Amity: It's what Awesome Girlfriends do Batata.

Willow: Besides, if your in this. Then we are too.

Gus: That's how it always been.

Christa: Aw you guys.

Hunter: So uh, what happened with you that day? Did you find anything?

Luz: Well we thought we found King's home. We found that he...is a Skull Cani. That's the name of the demons that live with Kamerian witches in the Unknown Isles.

Christa: But they turned out to be hunters wearing their skins and skulls and then we tangled with Kalayavan.

Alex: Who's Kalayavan?

Luz: He's from the Doragoris clan. He really gave us trouble. But he's gone.

Amity: Guess we both had it tough that day.

Luz: Well, how about we do something together to relax. You guys want to help me get some things. I have an idea to make something similar from home.

Amity: Anything you want Luz.

Willow: That sounds fun.

Alex: Hey anything with food I'm down.

Hunter: Well, you guys have fun. I'm just gonna...

Luz: Whoa, whoa. Where do you think your going?

Hunter: Uh, stay here while you guys go out and have your fun. This is a thing with friends.

Luz: Yeah it is. All my friends.

Gus: You're coming too aren't you Hunter?

Hunter: Uh, you want me to come too?

Willow: Well yeah, you're part of our group now.

Amity: I mean, you did kinda prove yourself that your not so bad.

Alex: Besides, I ain't through with you yet.

Christa: Come on, it'll be fun.

Hunter: Y-Yeah. Yeah! Uh hold on I need to get something.

Hunter goes to his room as Flapjack lands on his shoulder and chirps.

Hunter: They consider me their friend Flap. ( smiles) They trust me.

Hunter looks through his drawer and finds the prescription of medicine he was given to by Dr. Cushing. He opens it but then gasps as there was only one left.

Hunter: Last one. After this I have nothing else for my pain.

Flapjack chirps to him.

Hunter: I'll tell them. But not right now. Let them have their fun.

Hunter made his way down and approached the group ( mainly Christa).

Christa: You ready Hunter.

Hunter: Oh yeah. I am. Ready to for you. I mean not you. I mean everyone. Not that I don't want to spend time with you only. You're pretty and...I mean pretty cool! I...( face turns red) I should stop talking.

Christa: Well come on. Let's go.

The group exited the mansion and made their way to Bonesborough. As they made it to town, the girls were busy looking through some of the foods and looked to see what would be good. As this was happening Hunter tried to make another move with Christa.

Hunter: So Red, uh...have some clear skies today huh?

Christa: Uh it does seem to be cloudy.

Hunter: Oh yeah. Don't know what I was thinking. Haha. So uh...you like uh...uh...you like vegetables?

Christa: Some.

Hunter: Well you look like a cucumber. I mean cute cumber!

Christa: I hate cucumbers.

Hunter: Oh right. So do I. Haha. Can't stand them.

As this was happening, Gus and Alex couldn't help but notice.

Hunter: Uh yeah so uh...oh hey look at that over there. Some guy is stacking bones on the tip of his nose.

But as he was pointing it out, he accidentally steps on Christa's foot.

Christa: Ow my foot!

Hunter: Oh I'm sorry.

Christa: It's fine.

Hunter: You need me to carry you?

Christa: I'm fine really.

Willow: Hey Christa! Can you help us with some bags?

Christa: Coming! Be right back.

Christa leaves as Hunter reaches for her to say something else. He groans and then starts smacking his head.

Hunter: ( smacks his head) Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Gus: What was that?

Hunter: Nothing.

Alex: That did not look like nothing. Were you trying to make a move on Christa?

Hunter: What? Pfft, no. What makes you think that?

Gus: Dude, I spent a couple months witnessing Luz and Amity struggling to talk to one another casually. You can't fool me.

Hunter: Okay yes. I was. But it's so hard.

Gus: You have no problem talking to Luz, Amity and Willow.

Hunter: Because I don't have those kind of feelings for them. Christa is just so... I mean look at her.

The looked over at Christa helping the girls get the bags.

Hunter: I mean I always thought she was hot before I knew her. But as I got to know her, she's so nice and strong. Like really strong.

Alex: Like Willow.

Hunter: Exactly. A while back after the whole key thing, she went beserk on me and hated me. I thought I lost my chance but we're able to talk again. Ever since I ran away from the Emperor's Coven, this was a chance for me to make things right with everyone I hurt and betrayed.

Gus: And you've been doing great.

Hunter: Yeah, but now I want to spend some time with her. But every time I talk to her I screw up. I don't know how to talk to girls.

Alex: Ah you just gotta know the right words and moves to make on her.

Gus: Maybe we can help. ( pulls out book) I got this book from Eda about humans and flirting.

Hunter: ( reads title of book) " Dating tips for Morons?"

Alex: Gus why were carrying this with you?

Gus: Uhh, no reason. ( mumbles) Definitely not to help me find the right words to talk to Mattholomule one day.

Alex: We heard that.

Gus: ( blushes) AAH! But with this, you'll be able to win Christa's heart.

Gus opens the book and reads it.

Gus: Okay, so here's one. Say something nice to her. Compliment her.

Alex: Yeah. Like compliment her hair. Her face and her...

Gus: Uh let's just stick with her face and hair. Oh and say these lines here.

Hunter looks in the book to memorize the lines.

Hunter: Okay. ( exhales) Here we go.

Hunter goes to Christa who is just behind the girls.

Hunter: Hey Red.

Christa: Hey.

Hunter: Uh, er. Ahem I...I...

Christa: Yeah.

Hunter: I...uh...you look pretty today.

Christa: Oh, thank you.

Hunter: Yeah so uh, do you have a name or should I just call you " Mine."

Christa: What do you mean? Of course I know my real name. You were there. And what kind of name is Mine?

Hunter: Uh, uh...oh you know nothing lasts forever. You will be my nothing?

Christa: What?

Hunter: ( sweating) Wait no! I mean will you be my nothing?! ( chuckles nervously)

Christa: You're not making any sense.

Hunter: Uh...I seem to have lost my phone number. Can I have yours?

Christa: What phone number? I don't even have a phone?

Hunter: Uh...you like Jazz?

Christa: You...are just weird. Come on.

Christa turns back and leaves.

Hunter smacks his head and groans as Gus and Alex goes to him.

Hunter: She didn't get any of what I said.

Alex: Yeah what heck Gus?

Gus: Hey it's all here in this book. You executed them wrong.

Hunter: I think I executed them well. Those weren't very good.

Gus: Okay these lines are kinda cheesy. Let me look somewhere else. ( flips pages) Uh...oh another way to get a date is show off your looks.

Alex: Oh I know this one. Flex for her.

Hunter: Flex?

Alex: Yeah, you need to have muscles.

Alex flexes his arm showing his biceps.

Alex: Your muscles need to have muscles.

Alex flexes again as his biceps muscles show it's own muscles.

Alex: Your eyeballs need to have muscles.

Hunter: Eyeballs?

Alex grunts as his eyeballs extend out of his sockets ( in a cartoony way) and flexes showing muscles much to Hunter and Gus's disgust.

Gus: Okay I am never going to get that out of my head.

Hunter: I can't do that.

Alex: Trust me you do that it's an instant win. Now get out there!

Hunter exhales as he then goes to Christa as she blocks her way and the girls way.

Christa: Yes Hunter?

Hunter: Want to see me flex?

Christa: Wh-What?

Hunter rolls up his sleeves and begins flexing for her. He had a little muscle but no one looked that amazed.

Hunter: Yeah, pretty cool huh?

Christa: Uh...I guess.

Willow: Eh, Alex has better. ( blushes) Plus a hard six pack.

Amity: Luz has bigger muscles than you.

Hunter: What muscles? She doesn't have any muscles.

Luz: Want to bet?

Luz then shows her right arm how overly muscular it is.

Hunter: What the?!

Luz: Turns out making glyphs day and night really works on the arm. How do you think I can carry Amity?

Amity: ( feels her arm) Oh you are so strong Luz. Llévame Batata ( Carry me Sweet Potato).

Luz then carries Amity as she continues to walk as Willow follows and Christa is about to next.

Hunter: Wait Red!

Christa: Oh come on Hunter.

Hunter: No look.

Hunter then tried to flex his eyeballs like Alex did. However this proved to be impossible for him. He just kept grunting and making noises.

Christa: Are you okay?

Hunter continued grunting has his right eye enlarged a bit.

Christa: No seriously, are you alright? Are you having a hernia or something?

Hunter kept trying but couldn't. He stopped trying and was breathing hard as he rubbed his head.

Christa: Uh well, that was something. ( turns around) What a weirdo.

After that failed, Gus and Alex joined him.

Alex: What the heck were you doing at the end.

Hunter: I was trying to do what you did.

Alex: You can't do that.

Gus: You're the one who told him to flex.

Alex: I didn't tell him to do the eyeball flex.

Hunter: How do you even do that.

Alex: Oh that is a trick passed down from my family's generation. Took me three years to get it. At your rate, you'll probably master it in ten years.

Gus: Okay, let me look for something else. Oh, if you come across a puddle of water, use your coat for her to cross.

Hunter: It's the dry season. There's no puddles around here.

Alex: Oh wait, wait! I got one. Do this.

Alex whispers in Hunter's ear on what he should.

Hunter: I don't know. That sounds a bit much.

Alex: No don't worry. My dad does it all the time to my step mom and she finds it hot. If she does, Christa will too. All girls must like that.

Hunter: Okay. Here we go.

Hunter goes up to Christa with confidence

Gus: What did you tell him to do?

Alex: Oh you'll see.

Hunter approaches Christa from behind. He then slaps her at her butt as she gasps and turns to Hunter.

Hunter: Hey babe. Going my way?

SMACK!

Hunter is slapped in the face by Christa. He stands there with a huge hand print on his cheek as Christa walks away angered.

Christa: You pervert.

Once she leaves, Alex and Gus joins him.

Gus: That was your plan?

Alex: It worked for my dad. Guess not all girls are into that. Sorry bud.

Hunter: I hate you.

Later.

We then cut to the group at the Owl House. The girls as well as King were in the kitchen as Luz instructed how to make the dish she had planned while Hunter, Gus and Alex were sitting on the couch, still thinking how Hunter can ask out Christa. As this was happening Eda and Lilith approaches them.

Eda: Hey Blondie. Did you use the towels that were hanging in the bathroom? Those were just for decoration, now they're ruined.

Hunter: ( groans) Eda those were paper towels.

Eda: Yeah expensive ones too.

Lilith: Edalyn you shoplifted those at Hex mart.

Eda: Well yeah. I mean you've seen how expensive paper towels are these days. I mean what am I, made of money?

A few snails falls out of Eda's sleeve and onto the floor. She places her foot on them and drags them back to her.

Hunter: I don't have time with this right now.

Eda: Whoa, someone's all moody. What's with you?

Gus: Oh we're just trying help Hunter woo Christa.

Hunter: I'm trying but it's so hard.

Lilith: Oh that's so cute. Just go to her and tell her how you...

Eda: Oh no. That's not how you do it. You gotta look cool and be a rebel. Like yours truly.

Hunter: You?

Eda: Hey my charm attracted the man of my life. That's what you gotta do. But first, we need to change those clothes. Al, Goops I need your help.

Later

Willow: You sure you don't want my help?

Christa: You're my guest Willow. I got it.

After eating, Christa was bringing everyone's plate to the sink.

Hunter: Hey there good looking.

Christa: Don't even think about it.

Christa turns around and is surprised when she see's Hunter with a new look. He was wearing a black leather jacket, one of Eda's bad girl coven t shirt, torn pants and had sunglasses.

Hunter: What's up?

Christa: Uh what are you doing?

Hunter: Just cruisin around and uh...uh...

Hunter looked behind Christa as through the window he was reading the cards held by Alex and Gus with Eda also with them.

Hunter: ( reads cards) Uh...then I noticed you. The second most important person in my life, next to myself.

Christa: What?

Hunter: Uh...( reads card) So uh... hang on. ( takes off sunglasses and whispers) It's hard to read with these on.

Christa notices he looked like he was looking at someone behind her. She turns around but the group ducks down before she could see them. Once she turns back they stand back up with the next card to read.

Hunter: As I was saying. Are you an exam? Because I was studying you like crazy.

Christa: Huh?

Hunter: You know I'm so bad that every morning I eat bowl of nails for breakfast.

Christa: You read me like a map Hunter. Am I that obvious?

Hunter: I'd like to respect your thoughts, but I would be lying. But enough talk.

Hunter forms his staff and gets on.

Hunter: Why don't you and I ditch this place and go to uh...Vegas? Where even is that?

Christa: I-I...I need to be alone. Please.

Christa walks pass him as he looks confused. She leaves the kitchen as the others enter.

Hunter: What did I do wrong? I acted as cool as I could be.

Eda: Hmm, guess you weren't cool enough. Maybe we should have had him say " I eat a bowl of nails for breakfast, without milk."

Alex: There was no context with his lines. We should have had him say something more concrete.

Gus: No, no, no. He should have been more generous. I told you the whole bad boy idea was a bad idea.

Eda: Please, with that book. Who was the Lame Brain that even gave that to you.

Gus: You did.

Eda: Well Goops, I guess I'm that Lame Brain.

Luz: What are you guys doing?

Luz, Amity and Willow enters.

Group: Uh, nothing.

Luz: Well Christa just went up. She told us how Hunter has been acting weird today. Like really weird.

Willow: Did you seriously slap her on the butt?

Amity: What's wrong with you, you perv!?

Hunter: It was all Alex's idea! He told me girls like that.

Willow: Alex!

Alex: You sold me out!

Hunter: ( groans) I didn't mean to upset her. I just...I just wanted to spend time with Red. I spent my whole life in the castle and now I realize I don't know how to socialize with girls. I was just trying to be cool but I guess I'm not. No matter what I say or do I keep messing things up.

Luz: Why didn't you ask me how to ask her out? I'm the one who lives with her. I'm the one with an awesome girlfriend.

Amity: You got that right.

Hunter: Uh, huh. Guess I never thought of it.

Luz: Just talk to her. Don't act cool, classy ( motions to Eda) or even naughty.

Eda: Hey.

Luz: Just be yourself and talk to her.

Willow: Here.

Willow forms a spell circle and forms some flowers from her hand.

Willow: Give her these.

Hunter: Okay, but what do I say.

Amity: Just say you're sorry and whatever you have to say from the heart. And be yourself.

Hunter: But...

Luz: ( pushes him) Just go. You'll be fine.

Hunter walked up the stairs and was at the door where Christa's room was.

Willow: ( to Alex) And you.

Willow grabs Alex by his ear and pulls him out to the living room.

Willow: You and I are going to have a talk about your thoughts on girls.

Alex: Oh come on Sprouts. I'm sorry.

Hunter: ( exhales and inhales) Here goes nothing.

Hunter opens the door a little and peeks seeing Christa petting Howl. He opens the door wider and enters.

Hunter: Uh Red?

Christa: Hunter whatever you're about to say please not...

Hunter: No, no just listen. No more acting all cool and all, I just want to say sorry. I didn't mean to weird you out. I was just trying to act cool but I didn't know how. I've been asking the others for tips and they gave me some but it didn't work. I'm just not good at these things. I spent my whole life in the castle. The only person I ever really talked to was Belos. I only knew how to speak to him and that's it. All this, this is still new to me.

Christa: Oh Hunter. You poor thing.

Hunter: It's alright. ( gives her the flowers) These are for you.

Christa: For me? ( takes flowers and sniffs them) They're beautiful.

Hunter: Christa I just wanted to say that. Well...you're a special witch to me. You're uh, uh...nice...you're beu...I'm sorry I'm really not good at these things.

Christa: It's alright, you're doing good. Keep going.

Hunter: You're...you're...

Christa: Pretty?

Hunter: Beautiful!

The two blush in response.

Hunter: Sorry was that...

Christa: No, no. Please go on.

Hunter: Well, you always think about others, you're very caring and strong. I can't even think of anyone who can fight Belos. And I'm glad I got to know you. I'm sorry.

Christa: Aw Hunter. Come here.

She went up to him and gave him a hug.

Hunter: So you're not mad anymore right?

Christa: Of course. You're cool the way you are.

Hunter: Really?

Christa: (nods) Really, really. And Hunter.

Hunter: Yeah?

Christa then grabs the long strand of his hair and pulls him down to her face.

Hunter: Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.

Christa: Don't you ever slap me at my bottom again.

Later that night.

We cut to Alice sitting outside at her patio. She appeared to be all healed and was smoking a cigarette with Stranix sitting by her. She was just outside relaxing when suddenly a raven phone flew to her and she answered it.

Alice: Hello.

Darius: It's me. How are you feeling Black Rose?

Alice: Better. I was treated by a professional. What's up Pretty Boy.

Darius: How about your kids?

Alice: Edric and Emira are here but Amity and Hunter went out to spend time with their friends.

Darius: At the Owl Lady's place?

Alice: Is something wrong?

Darius: Selene is planning to attack on her.

Alice: What? When?

Darius: Tomorrow morning. She's bringing an army of scouts with her. Get your niece out of there and warn the rest of them about it.

Alice: And go where?

Darius: I'm sending someone to bring them to us. The group has been talking and we think it's time we got some more help from them. But I need you to be there to confirm it to them.

Alice: I'll be right over there.

Darius: Thanks. Stay safe my love.

Alice hangs up.

Alice: Stranix. Let's go.

Stranix yawned in laziness.

Alice: Come on. On your feet. This is urgent.

Stranix let out a small growl and got up. Alice got on top of him and flew off.

Meanwhile.

We now cut back at the Owl House as the Hexsquad were sitting together. Luz and Amity sitting together as the former was showing the latter her talented art skills and drew herself and Amity dressed as Azura and Hecate. Willow and Gus were bringing some snacks from the kitchen, Alex and King were playing the board game Serpents and Broomsticks. Alex however kept losing as King kept bragging to his face. Christa and Hunter were sitting on the couch together. Hunter was eating one of the snacks as Christa watched him. Suddenly he froze when he felt something. He felt Christa's hand on his. His face turned red as Christa giggled.

Christa: Come on.

Christa took his hand and pulled him off the couch and to outside. Howl and Flapjack also followed. Howl gave a glare at Hunter, still not liking how he's with Christa. He growled at him until Flapjack landed on his head and chirped to him. He laid down and calmed down as he relaxed with his friend.

Hunter: Wait where we going?

Christa: Just want some alone time with you.

Hunter: Uh with me.

Christa: Just us.

Hunter: Wait but...he's staring right at us.

Hunter motions to Hooty who was staring.

Christa: Um Hoot Hoot.

Hooty: Oh sorry CC.

Hooty buries his face into the ground.

Hooty: ( muffled) Carry on. Hoot! Hoot!

Hunter and Christa look back at each other. The two smile as Christa lunges up at Hunter. He was caught off guard as the two fell to the ground. The two laughed as Hunter eyed at Christa's belly which was exposed. He wrapped his arms around her and started tickling her belly as she laughed.

Christa: Hahahaha! Stop! No stop! Hahahaha

Hunter: Isn't this what you wanted?

Christa: Hahaha! Stop or I'm gonna hit you.

Hunter stopped as he held Christa in her arms. His hands were still wrapped around her waist, his hands under her shirt. She didn't mind it and just rested on him.

Christa: You're happy aren't you? I never seen you smile this much before.

Hunter: Yeah, I guess so. I mean I'm with you and it beats my time at the Emperor's Coven.

Christa: So, what was it like being in the Emperor's Coven all your life?

Hunter: Well, I trained a lot. I studied a lot. I wasn't really allowed to be around the other scouts. The only people I ever talked to were Belos, Lilith, the Doc, Kikimora and the five but half of them hated me. They always tried to overthrow me. But weekends were nice. I got to leave the castle for missions.

Christa: But do you miss it? Do you regret leaving?

Hunter: The only thing I miss is knowing who I'm supposed to be. But no, I don't regret my decision. Had I stayed longer I would have realized too late that I was nothing but a pawn and sacrifice. After leaving I... I never felt so free. I finally have real friends and I can just be me. And I have you. You changed me Red.

Christa smiled at him and took his hand off her stomach. She brought it to her lips and kissed the back of his hand as he started to blush.

Christa: Hunter, there's something I've been meaning to ask. You were the first person who told me about the Unknown Isles, my home. How did you know about it?

Hunter: I used to read a book about myths and legends and I came across a page about it. Though Belos never liked it when I read things that involved wild magic or had nothing to do with my work. I read how it's supposed to be an advanced civilization of witches but that's all I know. I don't how to get there. Any luck finding it yet?

Christa: No. Do you know anyone named Temperor?

Hunter: Temperor? He's a notorious crime boss of the Boiling Isles.

Christa: But he's the one who supposedly has a map on where it is.

Hunter: Do you really have to find him to know, he's really shady.

Christa: I don't have many options. We have to find the Unknown Isles soon. We need their help to stop Belos and Keizer.

Hunter: You're right. We have and I'll do everything I can to help you. It's the least I can do for you guys helping me. Even after what I did.

Christa: You're not like that anymore. Everyone likes you and they don't care if you're a copy of someone else. You be who you want to be and...

Christa nuzzles onto Hunter's chest.

Christa: I love you the way you are.

Hunter continued to blush but enjoyed it as he held her close to her.

Hunter: Th-Thanks. I-I-I love you the way you are too.

The two enjoyed their time together as the others watched from the window.

Luz: Aww, they're so cute together.

Amity: Yeah almost as cute as the two of us.

Willow: They deserve each other.

Gus: Whoo! Go Hunter. Go Christa

Alex: So are they going to make out now?

Willow stomps his foot.

Alex: Ow.

Eda watched the kids interacting and laughed a little. But then she heard faint conversation in the kitchen. She went over and saw Lilith on the raven phone.

Lilith: No, Matti. Matti please speak slowly. What? Are you sure? Hold on she's right here. ( to Eda) Eda it's Matti. She says she found something about Hunter.

Eda: What?

Lilith hands her the phone.

Eda: Matti?

Matti: Eda, I think I found something. I got hold of some historical documents from Archy on Shadam. He was the last of the long extinct Monks of Zabi and is one of the first members of the Emperor's Coven.

Eda: I see you've done your homework but what does this have to...

Matti: There's more. During this time he's been practicing dark magic and there were rumors spread about him occasionally using a curse that involved a scorpion. I did some research and there is one thing on it. It's called the Scorpion's Curse. According to this it's a dark and forbidden spell. It's user forms a scorpion to attack his victim. It stings the victim and implants an egg into the chest. It then spends a month incubating in the chest, growing and causing chest pains and the occasional cough of blood. Once it's at full size, the egg hatches into a small scorpion creature and bursts out of the victim's chest, killing the victim.

Eda had a worried look on his face.

Eda: Are you sure about this?

Matti: I wish I wasn't. Eda, how long ago exactly did he get cursed?

We then cut back outside as Christa and Hunter were sitting together and staring each other.

Christa: What are you staring at.

Hunter: Just your eyes. They're pretty.

Christa: ( chuckles) Do you like me for my looks.

Hunter: No. I mean, okay when I first set eyes on you, I was just into your looks. But I now know there's more to you than that.

Christa: ( blushes) You know even though you were on a different side before, a part of me somehow knew deep down you were a good person.

Hunter: And am I to you?

Christa: Yeah, you are despite your annoying voice.

Hunter: Why does everyone keep saying that? I have feelings too you know.

Christa: ( giggles) But, it has a charm to it.

The two held hands and looked each other in the eyes.

Hunter: Christa.

Christa: Hunter.

They closed their eyes and closed in about to kiss each other. But then Hunter's eyes opened up as something didn't feel right. The chest pain was back and it was worse then ever. Hunter held his chest and grunted.

Christa: Hunter? Are you okay?

Hunter's body fell to the ground.

Christa: Hunter?

Hunter tried to get his last pill but then coughed out blood.

Christa: ( gasps) Hunter! Oh my... guys!

Luz and the others come outside.

Luz: What's wrong?

Luz see's Hunter on the ground, blood on the grass, his shirt and his mouth. He was yelling out in agony as Willow and Gus checked on him.

Luz: ( whispers) Oh my god.

Eda also comes out and see's the whole thing and she looked as horrified as everyone else.

Luz: Eda, it's Hunter's pain!

Eda: Matti you better get here quick. ( hangs up) Get him inside!

Everyone tries to help Hunter in as Christa has a scared look on her face, the scene the cuts to Shadam meditating at his old temple and his eyes opened up dramatically.

Shadam: It's time.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. I had a lot of fun writing this one, probably because I've been wanting to make some stories with the Hexsquad just hanging out. I kind of went all out with this one on the humor and bring a big step for Christa and Hunter and I hope you don't mind some of the slapstick here but I just couldn't resist, but sorry things had to get dark at the end.
