Into the Unknown

The scene begins with Kikimora piloting her new Abomitron and flying out of Maguma's fog.
Kikimora: Ugh finally! Thought I'd never get out of that fog. I'm still confused about the rock face thing. Now where am I?
Kikimora looks around her surroundings and see's the Unknown Isles ahead.
Kikimora: Ah so this is the Unknown Isles. ( also see's the ship they took anchored). And they're here. Perfect.
Kikimora laughs as she flies over to the isles.
We cut back inside the temple, after Christa had just remembered who she is.
Christa: My real name is Euphemia Whittebane. These are some of my family. Quan Ata Lachu, my grandfather and Grand Witch of the Kameria and my mother, Cornelia is the Priestess. I also have a sister named Nia and Dad, but why aren't they here?
Cornelia: We have yet to leave this world because we feel our purpose is not yet done.
Quan Ata Lachu: To ensure your safety and so you know your destiny.
Luz: Wait Christa, I mean Euphemia, ( mumbles) I don't even know what to call you now. ( out loud) You said your last name was Wittebane. That means your dad is...
Christa: My father was Caleb.
Luz: So your half human. But wait if Caleb is you dad, then that means that Belos is...no he's...
Christa: ( nods and frowns) As much as I don't want to believe it, but Belos is my uncle.
Eda: Oh Titan. Are you serious?
King: Whoa! I was not expecting that. Well better than being your dad I guess.
Hooty: Hey that was my guess.
Hunter looked over at Christa with a confused look.
Hunter: So then, you remember everything about your life.
Christa: ( frowns) Yes, and my last memory here.
Eda: What has he done to you?
Quan Ata Lachu: You've all come here seeking answers. Allow us to show you how it began.
Quan Ata Lachu's staff shined bright as the whole area changed into a gigantic illusion of a new area, much like what Gus did back in Hexside but more stable. Everyone looked around amazed, especially Gus. The first area they were in was just all ocean. But everyone stood on the water or rather they were just on the floor and the water was just covering it.
( queue The Last Metroid from AM2R)
Quan Ata Lachu: In the beginning, long before any of us there were only the Titans. Powerful giants that wondered the boiling seas. Then a great war between them started, fighting for the title of Alpha. They were divided into two sides. One...
They heard loud footsteps as the water waved. They looked up and saw a silhouette what looked like the Boiling Isles Titan.
Quan Ata Lachu: Ginga. The Titan of Light. The other...
They heard flapping like the sound of thunder and then landing near them they saw a silhouette of a large skeletal dragon like monster with a huge red eye on the abdomen.
Quan Ata Lachu: Keizer the Titan of Darkness.
Keizer roared at Ginga as he roared at him back as Each side had their own group of titans with them.
Archimedes: The Titan Wars.
Cornelia: They battled for their respected leader, some fought for Ginga to keep his title while others fought for Keizer to claim it.
The Titans on each side roared and charged at one another.
Cornelia: It was a fierce battle. Leading them to their deaths.
It then showed body parts of previous Titans floating around the water, the only ones standing were Ginga and Keizer.
Quan Ata Lachu: Only two remained, Ginga and Keizer as they had their last battle. However it lead to both their demise. Ginga created your world, the Boiling Isles and Keizer made ours, the Emerald Isles or the Unknown Isles as you know it. ( now showing life forming on the Titans in a fast forwards style like a documentary film) When Titans died their decomposing bodies created new life. Our isles consisted of three major tribes. There's us the Kamerian witches, our neighboring allies the Skull Canis and our enemy the Doragoris clan.
The scene now shifted to Kameria, but this time was more lively and populated as everyone looked around amazed.
Cornelia: This is Kameria, our capital city.
Alice: This is unbelievable. How did you manage to build a city this advanced.
Cornelia: With the natural resources and materials this isles provided us. Most of the buildings are made by grinded up bones. But the power that operated the city was done with magic.
Eda: But that would have to take a huge amount.
Quan Ata Lachu: Like you we too possess magic, but not just within us, but within our Titan.
We then get a shot of miners digging through the mine and one of them finding a leak of some kind of black substance.
Amity: Is that Titan Blood? It looks different.
Quan Ata Lachu: This is the Titan Blood from our world. While yours was used for traveling to other worlds, our was used for our power source. Transportation, our homes, work and weaponry.
Luz: Weapons?
The scene shifted now showing what look like a military group of both witches and skull canis geared up in armor and wielding spears with electric points.
Cornelia: Our military forces is what kept us safe from invading Doragoris members.
The soldiers saluted to a skull cani figure. He was a large figure about 8 feet tall, with black fur, wings and the skull bared an uncanny resemblance to King.
Cornelia: They were lead by the Skull Canis leader and our dear friend, Commander Magnus.
Luz, Eda and Christa look surprised seeing him as he did look like King. They looked down at King who looked up with amazement at the commander.
Quan Ata Lachu: All of us together lived as one. I served as the Grand Witch who ruled all while raising my daughter.
Cornelia: And I served as the Priestess. My mother was killed by a Doragoris demon when I was a baby. My father raised me, taught me everything he knew about magic and I would help and guide my people with him. But over the years we soon came to crisis of a power shortage.
Quan Ata Lachu: We were finding less and less Titan Blood over the years in the mines. Naturally our best solution was to mine another area, however the only areas to search was the Doragoris Clan's territory.
Luz: Wait but didn't you guys ever try to talk to them into making some sort of treaty.
Cornelia: We tried once or twice but they refused to let us pass unless they could hunt on our part of our land.
Quan Ata Lachu: Unable settle things peacefully this lead to a war between our kind and theirs. We tried multiple times sneaking through their land to find a new area to dig, but sadly no results and few would ever return.
Cornelia: But then one day, when we sent our team to sneak through, they returned with something, or rather someone unusual. A human.
The scene shows Quan and Cornelia standing by the temple as soldiers approached them with a new figure who was cuffed up, one no one has ever seen before. We get a good look and this human bared some resemblance to Hunter, much to everyone's surprise especially to Hunter.
The scene then shifted to now Caleb locked in a room. A small bedroom as he looked around trying to find a way out. The door was locked so there didn't seem to be a way out. He tried to shake the nob again but then he stepped back when he saw the door opening. Cornelia entered carrying a tray of food and two skull cani guards with her.
Cornelia: You two stay outside. I'll be fine.
They nodded and stepped out. She placed the food on a table as Caleb stood on the other side of the room on edge.
Cornelia: Hungry?
Caleb: I'm good.
But then his stomach growled as he tried to ignore it.
Cornelia: Doesn't sound like it.
Caleb: How do I know it's not poison?
Cornelia just sighed and took a piece of bread and a spoon full of the dish on top of it and ate it.
Cornelia: Tastes poison free to me.
Caleb approached the table and sat down to eat.
Caleb: Am I your prisoner?
Cornelia: That depends on what we make of you. Why don't you tell me who you are?
Caleb: Alright. My name is Caleb Whittebane.
Cornelia: Okay Caleb. Your quite a strange witch. ( grabs his ears) I've never seen a witch with round ears.
Caleb: ( pulls back) Get off! I'm not a witch, I'm a human!
Cornelia: A human. Wait so then your not from this world?
Caleb: This world? Where exactly am I?! Are you really a witch?
Cornelia: So you come from a world consisting more humans. This world is the realm of demons. This place your at is Kameria, the capital city of the Emerald Isles. I'm their priestess, Cornelia Ata Lachu. And what's your profession?
Caleb: I'm a...a...a farmer where I'm from.
Cornelia: Is that so. But how did you get here?
Caleb: It was strange. I was with my brother we...were in our home town and there was this witch. She lured me and my brother out of the town and she had this vile of some kind of blue substance and mixed it into a pot of water. Suddenly there was a flash and next thing I know I was here. Chased by one of those green monsters until your soldiers found and captured me.
Cornelia: That was a Doragoris demon, we've been having issues with them lately. You said you came here with a brother. Where is he?
Caleb: I was going to ask you that. You didn't fine another human like me here did you?
Cornelia: N-No. Your the only one we found. Are you sure he was with you?
Caleb: I'm certain. He was right there with me. We have to find him!
Cornelia: Hold it Caleb. It's dangerous out there if you don't know your way around and it's crawling with Doragoris demons.
Caleb: Please, I have to try. He's the only family I have left.
Cornelia: Alright calm down. Tell you what. I'll take you to father and tell him what you told me. Perhaps we can form a search party for him.
Caleb: Please, thank you.
Cornelia: ( narrating) We got the approval to search for Caleb's brother. Commander Magnus lead the search party. It was a dangerous 48 hour search but nothing. After this Caleb was no longer considered a prisoner as we tried to figure out how to get him back to his world. In the meantime I served as his guide.
The memories then show Cornelia showing Caleb around the city. Then they heard thunder sounds. They looked up and clouds were forming about to make boiling rain. A siren sound was made as around the edges of the city perimeters a clear dome was forming around it. As it rained it touched the dome as the boiling rain just slipped down, protecting the city as Caleb looked amazed. Next it showed the two in the labs as they observed engineers developing vehicles. As they exited out some kids were playing as they were kicking their ball as it rolled over to Caleb as he kicked it back to them. The two of them arrived at the tea shop that Christa remembered seeing.
Caleb: Your treating your prisoner quite fair I must say.
Cornelia: I told you your not our prisoner anymore.
Caleb: It's how it began.
Cornelia: ( chuckles) Are you comfortable where your at.
Caleb: I am really. Your world is truly fantastic.
Cornelia: Tell me, what's the human world like.
Caleb: Well um...it's definitely not like yours. I mean we're more... I guess I would say primitive in your eyes. But I can tell you this rain definitely doesn't boil.
Cornelia: Really?
Caleb: Yes. And well our land isn't made from a giant decaying corpse.
Cornelia: How is it made.
Caleb: Um well...it's complicated to explain.
Cornelia: Right, but do you miss your home.
Caleb: Well, other than my brother I don't have much their waiting for me. If my pet cardinal was still alive than yes.
Cornelia: Cardinal?
Caleb: It's a type of bird. They're red. I once had one as a pet, but he died about a year ago
Cornelia: I'm sorry to hear that.
Caleb: It's fine. But other than that we are facing some tough times.
Cornelia: Like what?
Caleb: Let's just say there are people who...disrupt the peace and are doing things that they shouldn't that can harm others.
Cornelia: Like us with the Doragoris Clan.
Caleb: You can say that.
Cornelia: Do you think, if we ever find a way back for you. Will you show me your world?
Caleb: Well...Cornelia I...
Cornelia: Hm?
Caleb: ( smiles) Y-Yes, I think I can arrange that.
Cornelia: ( narrating) As time went on Caleb and I grew closer. He took a real interest of our culture. Though we couldn't find his brother, we tried to help find a way back home. We continued experimentation with our Titan Blood but ours wasn't strong enough for inner dimensional travel.
The scene shifted sometime after with now the three of them standing by the temple.
Cornelia: ( narrating) But during this time our troops returned from patrol and they found someone who had landed.
It now showed them bringing to everyone's surprise Phillip.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) Another human who claimed to come from another major archipelago from beyond Maguma's fog.
Luz: Phillip.
Phillip shook one of the guards off of him, but then his anger softened when he saw Caleb. The two were overjoyed to see each other and hugged one another.
Cornelia: ( narrating) We welcomed Phillip since he was Caleb's brother and asked how he got here. He showed to us an mystical item in his hands.
Phillip showed them a pure white crystal like orb.
Cornelia: He claimed to have found it within the skull of your Titan and it showed him the way here.
Christa: The Eye.
Cornelia: ( narrating) He said he was hoping to find answers on how to use the Titan blood from your isles to get back to their world. We examined the Titan Blood from your isles this one was stronger than ours as yours is able to cross between worlds. So we took the Titan blood he had with him and studied to make a portal out of it. While another used had the Eye to find where the beam was leading.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) It lead them to the skull of our Titan. Within the skull they managed to find another Titan Eye.
It showed the team finding Keizer's eye which was red and black.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) We had them examine and experiment on it, in hopes of solving the energy crisis. But we had opened pandora's box, for we tampered with something we did not understand.
Scientists were applying electric shocks and machinery to amplify the Red Eye. It began to glow brighter, but then on the screens it said Warning and siren sounds were going off.
Scientist 1: What's going on?
Scientist 2: I'm getting a huge reading from the object. Something is manifesting from it.
Scientist: Switch it off! Hurry!
The science team hurried to switch the power, but it was too late as they heard a roar from the Red Eye as a black aura formed around it.
We cut outside as the ground began to shake. Citizens stood around worried as Cornelia and Quan looked around confused. We then see Commander Magnus flying over to the two and lands near them
Commander Magnus: Grand Witch, what's going on? Earthquake?
Quan Ata Lachu: No, I sense something from the research facility.
Cornelia: What?
Quan Ata Lachu: ( points with his staff) There.
We see the research building cracking as it began to crumble and rising out of it was a monster resembling a skeletal Pteranodon like dragon with a long skeletal neck, spear like tail and giant red eye on his abdomen, although he was smaller than he should have been standing at 60 meters, about kaiju size rather than the size of his decaying body. He rose out with a roar and spread his wings. He looked around the area as the citizens looked up in awe.
Cornelia: Is that...the Titan? Our Titan?
Quan Ata Lachu: He lives.
Commander Magnus: What shall we do Grand Witch?
Quan Ata Lachu: I will speak him.
Quan Ata Lachu lift up his staff and formed a giant illusion screen of his face to talk to
Quan Ata Lachu: Welcome O great Titan.
Keizer: What are you?
Quan Ata Lachu: I am Quan Ata Lachu, Grand Witch of Kameria. Capital City of the Emerald Isles.
Keizer: Emerald Isles? Is that what you called my body?
Quan Ata Lachu: Great Titan...
Keizer: I have name low life. I am known as Keizer.
Quan Ata Lachu: Forgive me Keizer. But we are happy to see you.
Keizer: So it was you that brought me back to life?
Quan Ata Lachu: We intended to use the Eye in your skull to find a solution to our energy crisis. We seek you knowledge and wisdom.
Keizer then let out an evil chuckle.
Keizer: Help you? HA! I have no reason to help a pitiful race of lowlifes. My only quest solution resolve is my conquest. I will take back my title as the Alpha and rule this realm I see fit. You will help me to do so.
Quan Ata Lachu: But that is not our way.
Keizer: You dare question your God?
Quan Ata Lachu: We don't seek conquest. We brought you back to help us.
Keizer: If you will not serve me, than you will all be destroyed!
Keizer's horns began to glow red as he breathed a red heat ray at a building destroying it. People began to panic and run.
Cornelia: Father!
Quan Ata Lachu: What have we done? Commander Magnus gather your forces.
Commander Magnus: ( taking out crystal ball) Captain, send out the rescue teams to get the people to safety. Send all forces at the target.
Captain: Yes sir!
We cut to Keizer destroying the city as people ran in fear. He was near the monorail as it was passing by him. He bit down onto the moving train. He lifted it up with one cart in his mouth and another in his hand as the rest of the carts fell off the rail and crushing the people down below. Keizer shook the train in his mouth before letting go dropping it as well as throwing the other into a building. Military units were approaching soldiers with canons and airships with blasters attached.
Captain: Target is in range.
Commander Magnus: Fire.
Ground unit canons fired at Keizer's legs while air units fired at his head.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) We tried everything to stop him.
The soldiers stopped firing as Keizer was completely undamaged.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) But our weapons were useless against him.
Captain: Target is still moving and undamaged.
Commander Magnus: That's impossible.
Keizer set his attention at the military as his horns began to glow as he was about to use his heat blast.
Commander Magnus: Fall back! Fall back!
Soldiers ran as Magnus flew up. Keizer fired his heat blast at the cannons below him and soldiers that were caught and then he destroyed the airships around. He was about to fire at more buildings, but then vines rose out of the ground and closed his mouth shut, followed by a huge fire ball at his head.
Cornelia: ( narrating) I couldn't hide and watch as that monster destroyed my home. So I stepped up next.
Keizer roared down at Cornelia as she stood her ground.
Keizer: You really think you can single handedly stop me?
Cornelia: I don't care if your our god. I will not allow you to destroy my home.
Keizer slammed his fist down onto her, but she formed a purple transparent shield like dome around her. With her other hand she rose her arm up and huge wave of water engulfed him, knocking him down and freezing him. She lets down her guard thinking she got him. The eye of his abdomen began to glow and it let out flash of light breaking the ice around him.
Keizer growled and used his spear tail at the building Cornelia was on. It collapsed as she fell. Before she fell on impact, Commander Magnus swooped down and caught her.
Cornelia: Thank you Magnus.
Commander Magnus: Priestess you should be hiding with your father.
Cornelia: No, I have to do this.
Commander Magnus: But what can you do? Our main weapons couldn't even stop it.
Cornelia: I might have something. But I need sometime to charge up.
Commander Magnus: No High Priestess, you can't use that technique. It can kill you.
Cornelia: It's our only option left. I need you to keep him busy for a minute.
Commander Magnus: Cornelia...
Cornelia: Please Magnus.
Commander Magnus looked at her pleading look. He knew she made up her mind. A few tears formed in his eyes as he closed and flew up with his spear and flew around Keizer's head and attacked him as Cornelia brought her hands together. She closed her eyes as electricity formed around her.
Caleb: Cornelia! Cornelia!
Cornelia lost concentration when she heard Caleb and turned around to him who was running towards her with the Eye in his hands.
Cornelia: Caleb?
Caleb: Cornelia stop! Don't do this!
Cornelia: Caleb what are you doing here? It's dangerous!
Caleb: ( shows her the Eye) I got this from Phillip. It shined crazy when that monster showed up.
We cut to Commander Magnus flying around and scratching part of Keizer's face. Keizer bit down at him but missed. Magnus flew up and strike down at one of his horns with yell.
Cornelia: Caleb run!
Caleb: I'm not leaving you behind.
Cornelia: I'm not asking you! Go now!
Caleb: No, if this is the end I want to die by your side. I...I love you Cornelia.
Cornelia let out a small gasp as she sensed something from the Eye, a pulsing presence as she touched it. Keizer roared and used his spear tail at her, but then Cornelia fired a white beam at his tail, disintegrating it instantly as Keizer stepped back and roared.
Keizer: What?
We then see Cornelia holding the Eye and being surrounded by a white aura like Christa was. She yelled out and fired the white beam at Keizer which caused him pain.
Keizer: That power. It's like Ginga. How is this possible?!
Cornelia: Be gone devil!
Cornelia fired one huge white beam at Keizer as it engulfed him and explodes, destroying him. Once he was gone, she fell back but was caught by Caleb.
Caleb: Easy, I got you.
Cornelia: ( holds his hand) Did you really mean what you said.
Caleb: ( smiles and nods) Yes.
Cornelia: ( smiles) I love you too.
Caleb and Cornelia closed in and shared their first kiss. Soon after Commander Magnus rose out of the rubble as the people, Quan Ata Lachu surrounded them.
Commander Magnus: High Priestess, you destroyed Keizer.
Quan Ata Lachu: Well done my daughter.
Cornelia: No, we did it. I couldn't have won without Caleb's help.
Quan Ata Lachu: Thank you Caleb.
Caleb: Oh, it was nothing.
The people cheered for the two.
Cornelia: ( narrating) With the Eye of Ginga we managed to destroy Keizer.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) However little did we know he was not truly dead.
Cornelia: ( narrating) But before that, the city needed to be rebuilt. When I weilded the Eye I had visions of the beginning of our worlds, it's how I saw the Titan Wars. I wielded the power of Ginga and I was able to communicate with him. With the Eye, we used it against the Doragoris clan, forced them into their caves and sealed them in.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) With them locked up we were able to mine new areas for titan blood and stabilize the crisis. But it wouldn't last us forever as we began research to create synthetic blood.
Cornelia:( narrating) But I also had visions of the coming of the new Titan. One born as a Skull Cani, from Commander Magnus's family. It seemed Ginga saw the bravery he possessed and chose his family line to possess it. Because we had no way of getting to your isles, we kept the Eye of Ginga here for protection and Caleb and I were dubbed as the Holders of the Eye. But once things were operational again we continued with the portal project. But then he told me something, he said he didn't want to go back to his home.
We now see Cornelia and Caleb standing side by side as they witnessed the engineer team almost done with the portal door. Caleb saw Cornelia staning waitng for him and in her hand seemed to be a present.
Cornelia: Oh Caleb glad you could come. Our team are almost done with the construction of the portal.
Caleb: Oh, so it seems.
Cornelia: Yes so you uh...do you look forward going home?
Caleb: Actually I came to talk to you. Cornelia I have a confession to make. ( frowns) I lied about what I do. I'm not a farmer I...my brother and I are witch hunters.
Cornelia: I know.
Caleb: What?
Cornelia: ( turns to him) I can read minds. I knew you were lying when we first met.
Caleb: If that's true than why didn't you lock me up or execute me.
Cornelia: To prove to you that we weren't what you thought witches are. I kept you close to keep a good eye on you.
Caleb: But I had no intention of hurting you.
Cornelia: I know that too, but if you did I would have taken you out in an instant.
Caleb: Yes you would. Then you know what we do to those we deemed witches or participating in witch craft.
Cornelia: Yes and what you do is just despicable, horrible, barbaric. And you saw me as some monster.
Caleb: No! Well, I was cautious when I first got here and when we first met. But after getting to know you, your home and your way of life I was wrong. You are the most amazing woman I ever met. I love you. I really do. That's why I decided to stay.
Cornelia: You want to, really?
Caleb: Yes. I can't take you back with me because your place is here and humans won't understand you, us. We'll be tortured and executed.
Cornelia: You do know what your saying right? Your giving up your old life for me.
Caleb: There is no life without you.
Cornelia: Oh Caleb, this was meant to be a goodbye present but you can still have it.
Cornelia hands him the box. Caleb opened it and flying out was what appeared to be a red cardinal. It was Flapjack. He flew down and landed on Caleb's shoulder.
Hunter: Flapjack?
Hunter looks at Flapjack as he chirps to him.
Caleb: A cardinal?
Cornelia: It's a palisman. A witches companion and staff. I had this one made based off your cardinal.
Caleb: Cornelia I...this is amazing. Thank you.
Cornelia: What will you name him?
Caleb: I named my old pet after my favorite breakfast. Flapjack.
Flapjack chirps and nudges Caleb's face.
Caleb: Thank you so much Cornelia.
Cornelia: Your very welcome.
Cornelia smiled and hugged Caleb tight.
Cornelia: But what about your brother?
Caleb: I know he probably wants to go back. I'm going to talk to him. I hope he's okay with us.
Cornelia: ( narrating) But later I found Caleb badly hurt, appeared to be stabbed and brought him to the healing houses. He told me Phillip didn't take the news too well and ended up getting sucked by a prototype portal. He was devasted that his brother was gone and he wasn't happy with us.
Scene then shifts to her and Caleb's wedding day.
Cornelia: ( narrating) Finally our wedding came. It was the happiest day of my life, to spend eternity with the love of my life.
The scene shifted to the newly wedded couple in front of their house and then another scene played where we see a room with toys and a crib. We here a baby cry as Cornelia held one in her arms.
Cornelia: ( narrating) It wasn't long after until we had our first child. Our little Euphemia.
Christa let out a small gasp seeing her mom and her baby self. Caleb came in to check on the two. He gazed over at his daughter and made faces to make her laugh. He took Baby Christa and kissed her on her head. Next vision showed Caleb taking a two year old Christa's hand as her mom introduced her to her newborn baby sister Nia.
Cornelia: ( narrating) We soon had another girl, your sister Nia. We were a family. ( shows visions over the years of Christa learning magic from her mom) I taught you how to use magic as my father taught me. I readied you to become the next priestess, though you were a bit slow.
It also showed Christa messing up her techniques or has trouble executing a magic spell with Cornelia pinching her face in frustration. Christa looks sad thinking she's mad at her, but Caleb comes to her takes her for a break. We see them at the riverbank as Christa watched her dad skipping stones on the water. Christa looked amazed and tried to do so but failed to do so. Caleb showed her again, to take a flat stone and throw it the right way. She tried again and did so as she looked happy as her dad hugged her and Flapjack was on her shoulder nuzzled her. We see her again trying to pull off the spell again, but this time she gets it as Cornelia places her hand on her head and smiles at her.
Cornelia: ( narrating) But you were learning none the less. You, your sister and my husband were everything to me. These 15 years were the happiest time of my life.
Quan Ata Lachu: ( narrating) However, the past of our sins eventually came back to haunt us. The night he returned.
We now shift to another scene where we see Christa now at her current age in her timeline. One thing she was wearing was a white nightgown, the same one she wore when she first met Luz. She was in her room with her sister Nia brushing her hair.
Nia: Ow, ow, ow!
Christa: Hold still Nia. You really need to brush your hair more.
Nia: I brush my hair just fine, your brushing it too hard.
Christa groaned but then they heard a faint siren alarm from the city, followed by an explosion. The two looked out the window and can see smoke and the light of fire coming from it. Now there were sounds of cannons going off.
Nia: What's happening?
Christa: I don't know.
The two went downstairs and saw their mom talking on the crystal ball.
Christa: Mom?
Cornelia: What's happening out there?
Soldier: The Doragoris clan! They're loose and they're not alone! There's a...AAAAH!
The soldier is suddenly attacked and killed as the crystal ball looses connection.
Christa: Mom, what's happening?
Cornelia: Girls go back to your room.
But then they heard slamming knocks at the doors. These didn't sound like someone visiting this was the sound of someone trying to break in. Then the windows shattered and entering in were Dorodoros. Four of them were coming at Cornelia although she dealt with them with ease with a blast of fire. Two of them were coming at the girls as they screamed.
But then Caleb appeared using his staff and hits one of them, knocking him out and fought the other one as the two struggled fighting. The Dorodoro knocked his staff out of his hands. Caleb punched the Dorodoro multiple times in the face until it kicked him off and began strangling him. That was until Cornelia shot an ice spike at it's back killing it instantly.
Christa: Dad.
Caleb: I'm alright.
Flapjack flies to Caleb and lands on his head.
Caleb: I'm alright Flapjack. Are you two okay?
Christa: ( nods) Yes.
Nia: Daddy what's happening?
Caleb: It's okay sweety. We'll be alright. Everything's going to be okay.
Cornelia: I sense a dark presence coming.
The family exited the doors but standing before them was a dark figure, a familiar looking one. He stepped forth and it was Emperor Belos.
Emperor Belos: After all these years I found you again Caleb.
Caleb: Who are you?
Emperor Belos: Have you forgotten me dear brother?
Caleb: ( gasp) Phillip? Is that you?
Emperor Belos: It's been so long hasn't it. It wasn't easy trying to find my way back here without the Eye or my notes.
Caleb: Phillip what happened to you. What are you wearing?
Kamerian soldier: Freeze!
A group of kamerian and skull cani soldiers arrived surrounding Belos with their magic spears pointing at him.
Kamerian soldier: Step away from the Priestess and her family.
Skull cani soldier: You will pay for what you've done to the Grand Witch.
Cornelia gasped when she heard this.
Kamerian soldier: Drop your staff and put your hands on the ground.
Emperor Belos: Am I supposed to be threatened?
Kamerian soldier: This is your last warning! Drop your staff! Hands on the ground now!
Belos did what the soldier said and dropped his staff and kneeled down to place his hands on the ground. But doing so he summoned red monster like arms from the ground and grabbed the soldiers around him by their legs and arms. Belos got back up and picked up his staff, he ran at one of the soldiers and hit his staff into his chest, a red magic pulse forms on his body and sends him flying. Belos attacked another soldier who was stuck. He fired a red beam from his staff, piercing through the soldier's chest.
The others manage to break free as they charged at him and fought him with their spears. Two of them attacked him at close combat, Belos dodged their attacks effortlessly and used his staff to levitate them in the air. They couldn't break free and their spears were also being levitated as Belos aimed their own weapons at them.
Skull cani soldier: Drop them!
The two remaining soldiers used their spears and formed large spell circles creating magic blasts. They fired at him but Belos deflected their attacks and he formed black spikes from the ground, impaling the two on ground and proceeded throwing the spears at the two in the air, killing all the soldiers in area. Cornelia glared at him and readied as she kept her daughters behind her.
Emperor Belos: Such a nuisance. Now where were we?
Caleb: Phillip what have you done? What's happened to you?
Emperor Belos: A lot has happened brother. I was lost. I couldn't find my way back to the Boiling Isles or even here. I was at the brink of death until he found me.
Caleb: He?
Keizer: I found him.
They heard Keizer's voice as his ghostly eye form that we currently see appears above Belos.
Cornelia: Keizer. No, it can't be.
Keizer: You may of destroyed my body Priestess, but you failed to destroy my Eye. I've been watching this human for a while and he and formed an alliance as we both want revenge on all of you.
Caleb: Phillip tell this isn't true. You know what that thing is.
Emperor Belos: I'm well aware. Master Keizer found me, gave me power and find my way back here. But I couldn't do all this by myself so I freed the Doragoris Clan and formed my own army.
Caleb: But why.
Emperor Belos: You and I promised we do whatever it takes to save humanity from these monsters.
Caleb: The witches here they're not what you think.
Emperor Belos: Oh that's right. There you go again defending them and abandoning me. Just like you did 14 years ago.
Caleb: Phillip, I never abandoned you. I did want what happened to end that way.
Emperor Belos: I know, that's why I'm here. To free you from their influence.
But then Belos set his attention to Christa and Nia.
Emperor Belos: Are those your daughters?
Christa and Nia looked scared as Cornelia stepped up protecting them.
Emperor Belos: Did you actually marry this witch and start a family with her. That is just wrong.
Belos walked towards the two as Caleb blocked him.
Caleb: No, leave my girls out of this.
Emperor Belos: Oh come now they're my nieces. They should get to know their uncle.
Caleb: Phillip don't hurt them.
Emperor Belos: I am not Phillip anymore brother. There is only Belos now.
But then Belos notices Flapjack on his shoulder.
Emperor Belos: What is that?
Caleb: ( as Flapjack turns into his staff) My gift from my wife.
Emperor Belos: Your participating in witchcraft now? This is inexcusable Caleb.
Belos grabs Caleb by his neck and lifts him up strangling him and drops his staff.
Emperor Belos: You taught me to be brave and fight witches yet your going around being one?!
Flapjack flies at Belos and pecking his mask.
Emperor Belos: You stay away!
Belos swipes Flapjack away forcing him into a tree. The impact was hard as it damages his eye which he currently has and lays their motionless.
Christa: Flapjack!
Cornelia threw a fire ball at Belos's shoulder making him step back and dropping Caleb.
Emperor Belos: ( silent chuckles) Your as hot tempered as usual Priestess. Of course I am here for major purpose. Hand over the Eye perhaps I will make your deaths quick and painless.
Cornelia: Not much of an ultimatum, but you'll never have the Eye.
Emperor Belos: Well I tried. How about we start with the oldest one.
Belos formed a black shadow coming at Christa at fast speed, it formed a black spike about to impale. She shut her eyes but she didn't feel impaled. She opened her eyes and to her horror, her dad shielded her as he was impaled by the attack. The spike retracted as he fell down.
Christa: Dad!
Nia: Daddy!
Cornelia: Caleb!
The three of them kneeled down as Caleb coughed and placed his hands on the wound of his chest.
Christa: Dad, why?
Caleb: Euphemia...your okay?
Caleb reached his hand onto her cheek as she began to cry.
Caleb: Be...be strong my girl. I love you all.
Caleb's hand drops as he dies.
Christa: Dad!
Christa and Nia cry as Cornelia tried so hard to keep herself from crying. Belos stood their, though it was hard see his face he looked upset as his body shook.
Emperor Belos: Look what you made me do. You turned my brother against me.
Cornelia: You've done that yourself.
Emperor Belos: You witches have taken so much from me. You've taken my family. So I will do the same to yours!
Belos formed his arm into a tendril at Cornelia as she fired lightning at him.
Cornelia: Let's go.
Christa: But dad...
Cornelia: There's no time! Let's go!
Cornelia grabbed both her daughters and ran out of the area as Belos got back up.
Keizer: Stop her Belos. Find her and destroy the Eye.
Emperor Belos: She won't get far.
We cut to Cornelia and her daughters running through the city that was now on fire. We see people running for their lives as the Doragoris Clan and Dorodoros attacked while the military forces fought them off, but seemed to be outnumbered. The group was then cut off by a Doragoris demon as Cornelia fought him off. She kept hitting him with magic attacks, but then another one appeared behind the girls. Nia screamed as Christa threw a fire ball at it's face. He looked back at her and growled and tail whipped her. Christa was on the ground as the Doragoris opened it's mouth about to kill her with a heat ray, but then Commander Magnus appeared who shoved the Doragoris to the ground and impaled him in the neck with his spear killing him.
Christa: Commander Magnus.
Commander Magnus: ( helping her up) Are you Euphemia?
Cornelia: Commander...ARGH!
The Doragoris demon that Cornelia fought clawed at her side.
Christa: Mom!
Cornelia fell to her knees as she held her right side as she bled. It was a pretty bad hit. Commander Magnus ran up and fought the other one as he killed it. Christa and Nia held onto their mom and helped her up.
Commander Magnus: High Priestess...
Cornelia: I'm fine. ( winches from pain)
Commander Magnus: High Priestess you and your daughters must get to saftey.
Cornelia: I have to get the Eye and you have to get the Titan egg out of here.
Commander Magnus: My team is currently moving it to the nursury tower as we speak.
Cornelia: Then save the people.
Commander Magnus: What about you?
Cornelia: I have to get the Eye. The enemy is after it.
Commander Magnus: Let me at least take you there, your hurt.
Commander Magnus held up Cornelia.
Commander Magnus: Girls, stay by me.
Christa and Nia: Yes sir.
They hurried over, but then Nia tripped.
Nia: Wait!
Christa: Nia.
Christa ran back to help her up, but then a red magic blast hits Nia as the impact caused Christa to fall back.
Cornelia: NO!
Christa: NIA!
The smoke cleared up as Nia layed on the ground.
Christa: ( shakes her) Nia. Nia please get up. ( voice cracks) Nia.
Emperor Belos: Tragic isn't it?
Christa looked up and saw it came from Belos, accompanying him were two Doragoris demons.
Emperor Belos: The loss of a sibling.
Christa: You monster.
Commander Magnus: How could you?! She was just a child!
Emperor Belos: Oh please, they all start off as mere children but once they grow, she would have been a monster like the rest of you.
Magnus glared at Belos and noticed Cornelia clenching her fist as tears fell down her eyes.
Cornelia: Pull Euphemia out.
Magnus replied with a nod and hurried and pulled Christa out as Cornelia yelled out and shot ice at the ground creating a huge glacier of ice freezing Belos and his monsters as Magnus tried to fly away holding the two. However the ice didn't hold Belos long as he tried break himself free.
We now cut to the three making it to the entrance of the temple.
Cornelia: This is it. I'll take the rest from here. You go and help the others.
Commander Magnus: Yes High Priestess and...I'm so sorry for...
Cornelia: I know.
Cornelia hugs Commander Magnus. He hugs her back and kneeled down to Christa and places his hand on her shoulder.
Commander Magnus: You and your mother stick together. Be strong young Euphemia.
Christa: ( hugs him) Thank you Commander.
Magnus spreads his wings and flies off. Cornelia and Christa opened the doors, but to their shock they see another person lying on the floor with a pool of blood. Around him was some bodies of Doragoris demons and paint puddles of Dorodoros.
Cornelia: Father!
Christa: Grandpa!
The two ran over to him as Cornelia held her father in her arms.
Christa: Grandpa?
Quan Ata Lachu: I...I had to make sure...they didn't get the Eye.
Cornelia: Save your strength father.
Quan Ata Lachu: It's too late for me. Go...protect the Eye...protect...
Quan falls back and dies. Christa cries as we even hear Cornelia letting out some sobs. She gently placed her father down and shut his eyes.
Cornelia: Come along Euphemia.
Christa: ( voice cracking) Everyone...dad, Nia, now grandpa...
Cornelia: ( takes her hand) Come hurry.
The two went up to the upper area of the temple where the two large statues stood with their arms up. Cornelia winches from her wound but raised her hand up and formed a spell circle. The statues eyes began to glow and began to move their arms down, in the center was the Eye of Ginga. Cornelia takes it and raises it up.
Cornelia: I have to put a stop to all this. Eye of Ginga, grant me power!
Cornelia raised the Eye up as it a white aura formed around her. But the power was too much for her injured body. She yelps from the pain and loses concentration.
Christa: Mom!
Cornelia tried again, but blood squirted from her wound from the power.
Cornelia: It's no use. I'm too badly hurt to use it.
Cornelia gasps as she can sense Belos coming.
Cornelia: He's coming.
Christa: Mom. What are we going to do?
Cornelia looked at her daughter and closed her eyes.
Cornelia: Then it comes down to this.
Cornelia went over to the wall pressed down on the tiles in a specific pattern. It opened up like a drawer and in it was the stasis pod. Cornelia clicked on the button settings on it as the dome opened up.
Cornelia: I kept this here in case of emergency. Euphemia, step in the pod.
Christa did what she said and stepped into the pod.
Cornelia: I lost so much of my family, but I am not going to lose you. This stasis pod will hide you from him. Not just you, but this.
Cornelia hands Christa the Eye.
Cornelia: I pass the Eye down to you as the new holder.
Christa: What?
Cornelia: Euphemia it's up to you now. Keep the Eye safe and use it against Keizer.
Christa: What? No I can't. You can do it.
Cornelia: No, not in my state.
Christa: Mom, I can't use it. I can't beat him.
Cornelia: No. I've trained with you and I've seen what your capable of. Your much stronger than you think, you should be able to make a connection with Ginga. He thinks you'd make a good successor.
Christa: He?
Cornelia places her hand on the Eye as it glows and merges it into Christa's chest, now merged inside her body.
Cornelia: As long as you have this, you have hope. Now lay down. I've set the pod for stasis for a year. You'll be safe.
Christa: But what about you?
Cornelia: There's no time for me. I'll hold him off so he won't be suspicious.
Christa: No. Mom please I lost dad, Nia and grandpa. I can't lose you too.
Cornelia: Euphemia.
Christa: ( sobbing) Please don't go! Please!
Cornelia pulled Christa into a hug.
Cornelia: I've always been proud of you because of how passionate you were with your magic, even whenever you mesed up. Aside from meeting your father, your the best thing that ever happened to me.
Cornelia kisses her head.
Cornelia: I love you Euphemia, be safe.
Cornelia then pushes her to the pod as the dome clears up. Christa looked up at her mom, banging onto the dome shouting for her, but the red smoke in the pod puts her to sleep and closes back into the wall. Just as this happened the door bursts open as fire entered the temple and coming out of the flames was Belos.
Emperor Belos: Did you really think you could hide from me?
Cornelia: How could you? How could you have done all this? After my people tried to help you, you aided the Doragoris clan?
Emperor Belos: I did what I had to. I only used you all just to get what I needed. You really think I would be friends with your kind? No, never. It always sickens me having to be around you all, but you however I despise the most after what you did.
Cornelia: For loving your brother?
Emperor Belos: You turned him against me. You made me kill him! But I finally got my portal back and I'm willing to give you only a quick and painless death, if you hand over the Eye.
Cornelia: ( forms fire on her hands) I will never give it to you.
Emperor Belos: If that's how it's going to be fine. I'll play along.
Belos reached his hand out and out from the palm of his hand came out were long black arms reaching out for her. Cornelia reacted fast as she waved her hands creating a large energy wave, cutting the arms off. Belos used another attack and formed his two arms into tendrils coming at her. She waved her hands and made huge fire blast, burning his hands as he retracted them back and Cornelia came charging at him with her hand glowing white, punched Belos in the face and sent him flying into a wall.
Emperor Belos: Impressive witch. Most impressive. But you have not yet witnessed my true power.
Belos clenched his fists as he formed a black and red aura around him. He yelled and shot a red and black magic beam at her. Cornelia blocked it with a shield and formed plant vines and as well as a large venus fly trap and it tried to eat Belos. He broke out of it and formed a giant worm like creature to come down to devour her. But then she burst threw it and was flying towards Belos with lightning in her hands. She tried to hit him, but he blocked the attack. The two of them flew around firing all sorts of magic attacks, both long range and close range.
Belos fired the red and black beam at her while she used her lightning attack. The two had a beam struggle, but it seemed Belos had the upper edge as his was more powerful as the attack over powered her and she got hit by the blast. Cornelia fell to the ground hurt as Belos slowly approached her. He formed his arm into a tentacle and wrapped it around her neck and lifted her up to her face.
Emperor Belos: Is that all you can do? You not as powerful as I remember.
Belos used his free hand and placed it over her head to get a feel for something.
Emperor Belos: You don't have it. Where's the Eye?
Cornelia: You'll never find it.
Emperor Belos: Someone else is missing. Where is the girl?
Cornelia: She's gone. You'll never find my daughter.
Emperor Belos: I should kill you where you are now, but my master wants to ensure the Eye is destroyed. Tell me or I'll beat it out of you!
Belos continued strangling her. Cornelia was gasping for air as she raised her hand up and formed a black magic ball in her hand.
Emperor Belos: You really want to keep on going? I'll have you know my master has granted me immortality. You can't kill me.
Cornelia: Maybe not...but I...(gasps) I...can still...inflict...pain.
Cornelia threw the ball right at Belos's face. He yelled out in agony and let go of her. He held his face as he felt immense pain. Then realized black sludge was dripping from the eye holes of his mask.
Emperor Belos: What did you do? What did you to me you witch!?
Cornelia: I may not be able to kill you, so instead I place this curse on you. You will forever live your life in pain and suffering. You will now be the monster you truly are.
Belos continued grunting as he transformed into his familiar monster form.
Monster Belos: You...what have you done to me?
Belos charged at Cornelia. She dodged as he rammed into a pillar. It collapsed onto him, but quickly broke out as he turned over to her and roared.
Monster Belos: Turn me back! NOW!
Cornelia: Never. This is your life now. Your master granted you all your power. Why don't you get him to lift it?
Monster Belos: Tell me where the Eye is now!
Belos roared at her and came charging at her. She dodged the attack, but he ended up ramming into the wall where the pod held Christa. She looked over concerned, the wall didn't break down but did looked cracked. She sighed in relief and faced back at him.
Cornelia: No matter what you do. You'll never truly accomplish you goals.
Belos roared as he formed his hand into a scythe and tried to slash her. She dodged and shined a light at him. It momentarily blinded him and when the light dimmed down he looked around for her.
Monster Belos: ( growls) Where are you witch?
But then Cornelia appeared behind him. She was on his back as she locked her arms around his neck. Belos tried to shake her off but she held onto him tight. She had her hands together as she began to form electricity around her body.
Monster Belos: You fool! You know this technique of yours won't do you any good. You'll end up killing yourself instead of me.
Cornelia: I know. But if I live you'll just extract the information you need out of me. I can't allow that. You'll never find the Eye.
Monster Belos: NO!
Cornelia: ( frowns as a tear falls from her eye) Be safe Euphemia.
Cornelia's body erupts and explodes into an electrical light. The scene dims down as we see sludge all over the room. It began to move as it formed back together into Belos as he yelled out in frustration, with that the illusion flashback ends as the environment went back to the temple.
Quan Ata Lachu: All the residents were killed while remaining Skull Canis fled only to be hunted down and killed as well. Leaving our world in ruin.
Quan and Cornelia turned over to Christa who was shook and sobbing as Luz, King and Hunter tried to comfort her.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. Sorry again for taking so long, this required lots of brainstorming and was really long, so long that this will go on for one more part before we move on. At long last we finally covered the Unknown Isles and Christa's past, which is something I want to address. This plot point took me two years to develop since I started this and I was left in the dark with certain plot points of the show. I always intended to make Christa and Hunter a couple since I thought it would help with the latter's character development. But regarding Christa's family, Cornelia I've been developing but only recently thought of her name, Quan Ata Lachu and Commander Magnus were thought up in " Legend of the Unknown Isles" and decided to give Christa a sister. Her dad however I had trouble thinking. Though I at first thought of making him another kamerian witch, but when I first saw the ending of " Into the Looking Glass Ruins" when we first meet Philip, I thought I should try to work with this. Now before I didn't believe that Philip was Belos because I thought it'd be too obvious, so I was going to make him Christa's dad, but then I thought what if he came to the Demon Realm with a brother. I first thought of that before " Yesterday's Lie" aired and when that episode confirmed it, I thought it's a go. As the series went on and I kept trying to develop Christa's past, I decided to go with Caleb being her dad, thus making Belos her Uncle.
But then as I was making last couple chapters before I got to this, I came to a realization and some of you noticed as well. If Christa is dating Hunter, wouldn't that mean she's dating some form of her dad. Did I write incest? I want to make it clear that is not the intention. I swear this was an accident on my part. If I did and made you uncomfortable, ruined the ship and story, I deeply apologize. I swear one thing just lead to another and I was not allowed to discuss this with anyone to avoid spoilers. This would be like if in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shinji dated Rei despite the latter being a clone of his mom ( then again there are people who ship them, but they ship Shinji with a lot of characters). But back to the subject, I am trying to make it clear here ( and in the next couple) that despite being modeled after him, Hunter is not Caleb, that a grimwalker is a clone but not exactly the templete himself, making him a new person and Christa doesn't see him as her dad. I don't know if this helps but I'm really trying here. I hope I didn't drive any of you away from this because Christa and Hunter's relationship is one my favorite things to write and I didn't mean to make it like this.
