Chapter 65:

Into the Unknown

Part 3

After watching the history of Kameria's downfall and the loss of her family, Christa stood their with tears in her eyes as remembered the worst night of her life. She wiped the tears off her eyes as she felt Luz wrapping her arm around her shoulder, King hugging her leg and Hunter holding her hand.

Christa: So then, I'm the last one?

Cornelia: ( frowns) Afraid so.

Flapjack chirped at Christa as she looked at him and a small smile formed on her.

Christa: I fully remember you now. I'm glad to see you made it.

Luz: So Flapjack was made here and you didn't know Hunter?

Hunter: He never told me. Flap why didn't you tell me you knew Red or this place?

Flapjack chirps to him.

Hunter: You barely remember this too?

Cornelia: I don't think he remembers much about his past due to his injury. The spot he was hurt surely caused to poor thing head trauma.

Flapjack flies around Cornelia as she smiled seeing him.

Cornelia: I'm so glad to see you're okay.

Flapjack lands on Hunter's shoulder as she got a good look of him.

Cornelia: You look so much like my husband.

Hunter: I was made by Belos based on him, or at least his appearance. He made numerous grimwalkers based on him and discarded them. I'm so sorry for what he has done to you, your home and your family.

Cornelia: And I'm sorry for what he's done to you. But Flapjack seems to like you.

Hunter: Yeah he helped me find a better path, as well as your daughter and Luz here.

Christa: Wait I'm confused. You said you intended to put me the pod for a year. How do you go from a year to 400 years?

Cornelia: I can only assume our fight caused a malfunction when we hit the wall your stasis pod was in. The pod was made to preserve the user's lifespan and youth. I only intended to hide you for a year to make sure the place was abandoned and you would rise when the time was up and stop Keizer at his weak point. But you were lucky to even wake up at all and only now you remember only days away from Keizer's revival.

Luz: So then Christa is technically 400 years old?

Cornelia: 414 years of age.

Luz: 414?!

Christa: Whoa! Oh geez I'm an old lady.

Hooty: Well I think you look great for you age CC and your even older than Eda. Hoot!

Eda: Hey watch your mouth Hooty. Besides I'm still younger than Lily here.

Lilith: Would you please stop bringing up my age Edalyn?

Eda: Never.

Quan Ata Lachu: Euphemia, I know this so much to take in for you right now. But we don't have much time left. You must not let Belos revive Keizer. If he is revived, it could be the end of everything here in our realm.

Raine: We came all this way for help, but I guess you can't help us.

Quan Ata Lachu: We can't but you don't need our help. You have what you need with you. The Eye of Ginga.

Christa: That's right. It was within me this whole time.

Eda: But what exactly is the Eye of Ginga?

Quan Ata Lachu: A vessel of pure energy, containing the power of Ginga himself and amplifies the user's magic and grants them the powers of a god. It's more powerful than the Galderstones or even Titan Blood. It's the only thing that can destroy Keizer. You are still learning my dear, that's why it's best for you to destroy Keizer while he's still weak.

Lilith: If I may but you asking her to destoy your god. I know he's evil but isn't that still sacrilege on your or her behalf.

Quan Ata Lachu: Keizer is no god. Kiezer is the devil.

Eda: This is still much for her. What if one of us used it?

Cornelia: It won't work on just anyone. From my connection with it, the Eye's power can only be accessed to those Ginga see's worthy. It cannot also be accessed by those tainted by Keizer's.

Eda: What do you mean tainted?

Cornelia: The cursed marks most of you bare on your wrist is not only marked to be part of Keizer's source of power but to limit your magic and lock you from ever using the Eye if found.

Archimedes: I get it now. Because Belos never found the Eye all those years ago, he made coven system also as a precaution to make sure no one ever uses it if found.

Matti: And all those that refused, he executed.

Seraphina: That monster. He played all of us!

Christa: But why was I worthy?

Cornelia: It's strange but he told me you helped him once, a long time ago.

Christa: I...wait. The day I fell into the time pool and ended up at the climax of the Titan Wars. That's why.

Quan Ata Lachu: But you will not be alone. ( glances over at King) The new Titan is with her too.

King: Uh.

Amity: Wait who is he referring too?

Luz: Oh uh...should we just tell them?

Eda: Yeah this doesn't have to be a secret anymore.

Archimedes: Wait what secret?

Luz: Well you guys remember when I told you we went to find King's supposed family only to turn out to be Titan Trappers?

Amity: Yes.

Luz: Well...turns out King is the chosen son and reincarnation of Ginga.

Amity: Oh if that's all-wait what?!

Willow, Hunter and Gus: What?!

King: Yeah... surprising isn't it.

Alex: Aha! Ahahahaha! Ahh good one. King a Titan. A god.

Cornelia: Yes

Alex: Wait you serious? ( eyes widened) Oh Titan. Uh King I...uh you know all those times I messed with you and called you a hairball. You know I was kidding right and deep down I considered you my best friend in the whole wide world.

Willow: I thought I was your best friend!

Alex: Oh you are Willow but...your not a god. ( turns back to King with a nervous chuckles) Anyway as I was saying. Uh...well. Oh please forgive me! I'll do anything you ask just please don't send me to bad place when I die!

King: Alex relax, I'm not that kind of Titan. I don't even want to be treated differently. You can relax.

Alex: Oh thank Titan!

King: Your welcome.

Matti: Oh my goodness, so that means. ( starry eye) You are the cutest Titan I've ever seen! ( everyone looks at her) What he is.

Archimedes: ( to Eda) So your son is a Titan and you didn't tell us.

Seraphina: Well I knew. I was there during his trouble with one of those Doragorises.

Eda: I kept quiet for his safety. We already had enough trouble trying to hide.

Archimedes: Fair point.

Luz: So you guys were the ones who built King's tower where he was from?

Cornelia: Yes. It was nursery tower built for the protection of the Son of Ginga or King as you call him.

Luz: And the murals on the walls, was that of Commander Magnus?

Cornelia: Yes to show his relation to one of our best warriors. He was guarded by sentinels and Commander Magnus himself. Had he lived to see you hatch he would have made a fine warrior out of you.

King: I'm sure he would have. I never got to meet him, but I know he was there guarding me.

Luz: There's something else though. I was hoping to get some help making the portal back to the human realm and I was told you guys know how to make it. Belos has it and my attempts on making on myself have been unsuccessful. But I guess that's not happening.

Cornelia: Luz was it? I want to thank you, well all of you for looking after my daughter as well as the son of Ginga. I wish I can help you more with your fight, but I can at least give you this.

Cornelia formed what appeared to be a bronze box. She twists the top and opening from the top was a hologram of the blue prints of the portal.

Cornelia: The blue prints to the portal, it's yours.

Luz: Thank you so much, you have no idea how much you helped me here.

King: And the best part is that now you have an unlimited supply of Titan Blood. Wait my blood should work right?

Cornelia: As Ginga's son you were gifted with his powers, including his blood power of inner dimensional travel. However even if you didn't have the blood the only other way is with the Eye.

Christa: The Eye can be used to travel between worlds too?

Cornelia: Well technically it should since it has the same power, but I've never actually tried to do so.

Luz: Well I'll get to work on this again. After we stop Belos.

Cornelia nods to her and kneels down to Christa.

Christa: Mom.

Cornelia: Euphemia. I'm sorry for placing this burden on you. I...

Quan Ata Lachu: Wait! I sense someone else coming.

Luz: What who?

Quan Ata Lachu: Is this everyone in your group?

Eda: Yeah it uh...hold on. One, two...then theirs me...oh and Hooty. Yeah that's everyone.

Lilith: Is it Steve?

Everyone exits out the temple and they see something flying.

Willow: Something's up ahead. It looks different.

Gus: It's not another Doragoris is it?

Then figure flew down closer as it was Kikimora on her abomitron.

Kikimora: Hello Luz!

Luz: Oh no. Not you again.

Kikimora lands.

Kikimora: It's about time I found you.

Alex: So, we meet again uh...um...I'm sorry who are you again?

Kikimora: Who am I? Who am I are you serious?! It's me!

Alex: Right it's you. You're uh...um don't tell me! Don't tell me. Uh ( snaps fingers) oh I know now! You're that crazy snake lady.

Luz: You're thinking of Selene, that's Kikimora.

Alex: Oh okay. You know it's weird I don't think we ever met before. Isn't that weird guys?

Christa: How did you find this place?

Kikimora: Monsieur Bolst isn't the only one who has connections with Temperor.

Alice: Hold it. That's the Abomitron 5000. That's supposed to be a work in progress. You're not supposed to have that. How did you get your hands on that?

Kikimora: It was gift from your brother and his late wife before you took over.

Both Alice and Amity squint their face in annoyance and groans.

Amity: Dad.

Alice: Alador. That is company property, you return that this instant.

Kikimora: Oh and you're going to make me? I should be reporting your for hiding the wanted criminals. Actually I see quite a few traitors. This will surely boost my position back up with the Emperor.

Eda: Please, you really think you can scare us using that.

Alex: Yeah, your not man enough to fight us without it.

Kikimora: I don't care! Okay! You know I deserve this spotlight. I've discarded from like 95% of this story, even the retelling episodes that starred me replaced me with five dumb made up fakers. I-I-I am offended! The fans are probably offended and wanted more of me.

Eda: What fans? You don't have any fans.

Luz: Yeah uh...no one really misses you.

King: I don't even think anyone cares if your not in them.

Christa: They don't.

Amity: Totally not. You're almost as bad as my mom.

Willow and Gus: ( nods) Mmm-hmm.

Hunter: Your whiney, selfish, narcissistic, a cheater and nobody likes you at all!

Luz: Whoa easy their brother.

Hunter: Sorry it's just, man it feels good to call her out.

Lilith: That I can agree on.

Hooty: Also your short! Hoot! Hoot!

Alex: I don't even know you.

Kikimora: ENOUGH! No longer am I the joke of the Emperor's Coven. For once I will be on top! ( forms cannons on arms) Time to die.

Christa's white power activated and she formed a shield like dome around everyone.

Luz: Let's stop her

Alice: Right, but if I may I would appreciate if we don't destroy the prototype.

Amity: Aunt Alice!

Alice: Sorry it's just, it's really expensive.

Eda: That depends if Kiki here decides to cooperate.

Everyone ran up and fought Kikimora. Luz and Amity teamed up using a series of glyph and abomination magic on her. Eda in her harpy form was with King as she flew around dive bombing at her while using sonic yell attacks. Archimedes spun his scythe creating magic projectiles firing at her and got close cutting off the abomination hand hammer, but it was no use as it simply grew back. Lilith and Seraphina attacked next and as Kikimora was about to crush them, they simply vanished as they were illusions created by Gus. She tried to crush him, but again was an illusion.

Alice riding on Stranix flew down as he spat fire balls at Kikimora. She glared at her and opening from the back were heat seeking missiles. Stranix flew trying to avoid them but they kept following him. That was until thorny vines rose out of the ground and hit the missiles as they blew up upon impact. Willow towered over Kikimora on a mountain of vines and sent them flying down at her. Kikimora formed the arm into a flame thrower and tried burning the vines. She then felt and Earthquake made by Alex who punched down the ground, cracking the ground as it opened up as Kikimora fell down into the abyss.

Alex: Gotcah, you lose!

But Kikimora activated the jet packs and flew out.

Alex: Oh you gotta be kidding me, jet packs too! Are you serious?

Kikimora laughed as she saw Hunter flying at her.

Kikimora: Ah there you are Golden Guard. I think your uncle would like to have a few words with you!

She fired her arm cannon at Hunter as he teleported away. He appeared next to her as she kept trying to hit him, but kept teleporting. He appeared behind her where the jet packs were and placed a fire glyph onto her back. It blew up the jet packs as she fell to the ground. She was then attacked by Raine who used their whistling attack on her. She was pushed back by the attack and then felt potion bombs fall on her from Matti on her staff.

Luz: Christa now!

Kikimora: Hmm?

Kikimora turned to Christa who was using her white power on her. She fired the white beam at the center of Kikimora's abomitron and it looked like she was hit, but to everyone's surprise the abomitron was unharmed.

Luz: What the?

King: It isn't even dented!

Alice: Oh uh, I should also mention that the Abomitron 5000 is unique as we were experimenting by giving it reinforced steel for the armor making it near impenetrable.

Eda: Are you serious Alice?

Alice: Hey I never intended for it to be misused this way.

Kikimora: ( controls Abomitron to dance) Ha! Nice try Christa! But it looks like your power is useless!

Christa: No.

Kikimora: Yes and now, it's time to settle the score with you.

Kikimora fires two missiles at Christa. She acted fast and tried to shield herself, but the impact of the missiles was strong and was sent flying to the entrance of the temple and laid their hurt.

Luz: Christa!

Hunter: Red!

Luz and Hunter hurried to Christa. The others kept fighting which was now starting to annoy Kikimora. The Abomitron began to charge of electricity around it's body.

Kikimora: How about this?

Kikimora lets out an energy pulse wave out from the Abomitron's body hitting everyone and pushing them all back onto the ground.

Kikimora: Hahaha! Fools do you really think you can beat the Emperor's right hand witch.

Hunter: Uh last time I checked when I was at the castle you lost that title.

Kikimora: Shut up! I've had it with you and your annoying voice.

Hunter: Again with the annoying voice. Why does everyone keep saying that?

Luz: Because it kinda is.

Hunter: You're really not helping.

Kikimora: Now then. ( forms both arm cannons) Where were we?

But then she was hit by a heat ray blast from the back. She turns around and see's the Alpha Doragoris roaring as his squad charged and attacked her.

Luz: Are they helping us?

Hunter: No. This is just their territory and they want us off.

Two Doragoris demons were on each of the abomitron shoulder's as Kikimora tried to shake them off and rammed into a building to get them off. They kept flying at her biting into the abomitron trying to break off any piece of it as she kept blasting at them.

As the others watched, Cornelia appeared behind them and kneeled to Christa.

Christa: Mom?

Cornelia: Euphemia get up. She's not as powerful as she thinks.

Christa: But the Eye didn't work on her.

Cornelia: Your not focused. The Eye links to your emotions. Surely you must have noticed this.

Christa: Every time I saw my friends in danger. That power would awaken and I'd use it to save them.

King: Christa I think you should know we are in danger and I think you should use the Eye now before we all die.

Luz: King.

King: I'm just motivating her.

Christa: I'm trying.

Cornelia: Clear your mind and focus. Focus on what you want to use it for.

Christa: I want...to protect everyone.

Christa's power rises up, the aura however rose up higher with some static flickering around her.

Luz: Uh Christa.

Harpy Eda: I think we should step back.

We cut to Kikimora still fighting the Doragoris clan. The Alpha Doragoris grabbed onto her arm and breathed his heat ray the shoulder. Kikimora hits him off of her. The Alpha roared at her, but then he saw something from behind her as he and his group retreats.

Kikimora: That's right run. Had enough had you. Huh?

Kikimora turns around and see's the powered up Christa.

Kikimora: Oh haven't had enough have you?

Christa: I will not let any of you hurt anyone else!

Christa yelled out and brought both her hands together, firing another white beam but this one looked bigger and was more in a spiral.

Kikimora: That technique doesn't work remember. Hahahaha-what?!

That blast hits Kikimora, this time the beam piercing through the abomitrons chest leaving a huge hole. The abomitron stood there motionless as electricity starts sparking, smoking up and exploding. Kikimora covered her head as the controls were blowing up in her face.

Kikimora: No! NOOO!

The abomitron explodes with Kikimora in it. The smokes clears up as all that there was left were bits and pieces of the abomitron, but no sign of Kikimora. Christa's power fades away as she breathes heavily.

Luz: You alright there?

Christa: I'm good.

Amity: I never saw it like that before.

Eda: Geez Chrissy, you just anilhated her.

Christa: Yeah, I think I went a bit over board. Sorry Alice for destroying your prototype. I guess I got carried away.

Alice: Oh no need for apology. Our lives are more important. Besides you just proved it still needed work.

Cornelia: Well done Euphemia. You really are learning fast.

Christa: I've had help mom.

Cornelia: Yes, before anything else actually those of you with the cursed marks, step forth.

Cornelia was referring to the adults as well as Hunter who all had the sigils.

Hunter: What is this for?

Cornelia: Put your hands together.

They did as she said and put their sigil hands on top of each others hand.

Cornelia: Euphemia, place yours on theirs.

Christa: Okay.

Christa placed her hand on the adults hands.

Cornelia: Now concentrate again. Not on fighting, but healing.

Christa did as she said and a small white aura formed around her and then on the others. They took their hands off as they took a look at their wrists. The sigils they had began to glow and vanish.

Archimedes: The sigils!

Matti: They're gone! You removed our sigils.

Lilith: I don't believe it. What did you do?

Cornelia: The Eye of Ginga is the power of light while Keizer's is the power of darkness. As you all know the cursed marks on you were from his power.

Raine: So Ginga's light power counterattacked Keizer's breaking, getting rid of the sigils.

Seraphina: So then, we're free?

Cornelia: Yes, your no longer under his curse and will not be affected by his draining spell.

The adults rejoiced as Eda ran up hugging Archimedes and kissing his cheek as did Lilith with Seraphina, Matti hugged Raine as Amity hugged Alice knowing her aunt will be okay. Hunter looked at his wrist and back at Christa with a smile on his face and hugged her.

Archimedes: Christa...uh Euphemia...oh this is confusing but thank you. You really saved us.

Christa: Your welcome but I wish I knew about this sooner.

Matti: It's alright, you still got it off us in time.

Seraphina: I'm just relieved I don't worry about losing my friends to that monster. ( holds Lilith's arm) Or my Lilith.

Lilith: ( blushes) Oh Seraphina please. I mean I don't even have magic anymore but glad to see that off.

Alice: So then we can use this to save everyone on the isles right?

Quan Ata Lachu: Yes, although it's not impossible to remove sigils without it. As we said the Eye is capable of so much. I am glad to see you rejoice, but it is far too early to celebrate. Time is running out. Euphemia, you now know what you must do.

Cornelia: I wish there was more we can do but...I'm so sorry for placing such a burden on you. I wouldn't ask you to do such a task, but...

Christa: I know. But I'm glad I finally found you and see you one more time.

Luz: Your daughter won't be alone Cornelia. I'll help her on her journey.

Hunter: I promise to keep her safe.

Eda: She'll be okay with us. I promise.

Cornelia: Thank you.

Cornelia although she couldn't physically hug her daughter wrapped her arms around her to get a feel as Christa did the same. Quan Ata Lachu also came to her and placed his hand on his granddaughter's head.

Cornelia: We'll always love you even when we're gone.

Quan Ata Lachu: Be brave Euphemia. We'll meet again someday.

Christa: Goodbye Grandpa.

Quan Ata Lachu smiles at her as his body vanishes.

Christa: Can you just hug Nia and Dad for me, when you see them and tell them I love them.

Cornelia: Of course I will.

Christa: ( voice cracks) Goodbye Mom, love you.

Cornelia: ( tear drops) I love you too, goodbye Euphemia.

Cornelia disappears as Christa lets out some small sobbing. Eda hugged her as Christa let out some muffled crying into her chest.

Eda: Shhh, it's okay. Let it out.

Luz: We're right here.

Christa: I'm going to miss her.

Eda: I know. I'm sorry.

Archimedes also came in and hugged her.

Archimedes: Everything's going to be okay Christa. We promise.

Lilith: So what now?

Raine: We got the answers we seek for. We have to go back and prepare ourselves, if it's okay Christa.

Christa: ( wipes her eyes) Yeah, we're done here.

Hunter wrapped his arm around her and walked with her. There was nothing left here for them, they had what they needed went back to the ship and back to their world and ready themselves of what's to come.

Meanwhile

We cut to Kikimora who survied the explosion getting away from the city, but looked hurt and was limping.

Kikimora: Ugh, I was so close. ( grunts) I had them right there and I still lost. Is this how it's meant to be? Will there never be a day that is a mark for victory? Will I always have to suffer at the hands that girl? Tell me! When will it end?!

But then she heard growling sounds and behind her was the Alpha Doragoris and a few of his followers.

Alpha Doragoris: Mmmm, a delicious.

Kikimora: Wha-me? Ah, no, no you don't want to eat me. Your still not mad about our fight. To be fair you interfered with it.

Alpha Doragoris: Those were our kill and ours alone. ( growls) Now they're gone!

Kikimora kept limping back until she tripped and was pinned to a tree. She tried to go around but was cut off by another Doragoris.

Kikimora: Wait you don't want to do this! I work for Emperor Belos, I knew Kalayavan. We should join forces and we can work together.

Alpha Doragoris: You dare fool me by bringing my ancestor into your game.

Kikimora: No really. Look you don't want to eat me. Look at me I'm too small to fill your appetite.

Alpha Doragoris: Today has not been a good day and I'm waiting for the others to bring back my meal, in the meantime you will make a tasty hors d'oeuvre.

The Alpha Doragoris shows his teeth and drools making a growling sound about to eat her as Kikimora sat their with a horrified look on her face as she screams.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. Now we can move on. As I said this and the last were supposed to be one chapter but it was so long it had to be divided so that's why this one was shorter. But I think I'm finally passed the hard part of my story because the next major arc I've been developing for a while so I think I know what to do next.
