Chapter 71:
Keizer the Titan of Darkness
The Hexsquad were on the other side of the gap of the bridge Belos broke as he entered in Keizer's room.
Luz: He's getting away.
Alex: Not for long he's not.
Alex using his magic forced the ground from below to rise and fill in the gap of the bridge.
Luz: Come on!
The group ran to the door, but upon arriving they couldn't get to open.
Willow: It's locked.
Gus: How do we get in?
Alex: Break it down!
Inside.
Emperor Belos: Master! Euphemia is free and is outside trying to kill us.
Keizer: What? You had her in your grasp and you let her get away?
Emperor Belos: It was Luz, she did it.
Keizer: You allowed the human to beat you again? Didn't I tell you to kill her?!
Emperor Belos: Please, I need your help. I don't have the strength to keep fighting. Help me!
Keizer: Then we are down to our last resort. I will destroy Euphemia myself.
Outside.
Luz and Hunter placed a few explosive glyph combos on the door, but it did nothing. So now Alex punched the door.
Alex: Ow my hand!
He then punched with his other fist.
Alex: Ow my other hand!
Willow: Come on Alex think. Use your head.
Alex head butts the door but of course this did not work as he held his forehead as he groaned and fell back.
Willow: I didn't mean literally.
King: Move aside.
King let out a sonic yell but it had no effect.
King: Nothing.
Gus: How do we get it to open?
Amity: Wait look at the door.
They noticed the door had a strange pattern to it.
Luz: What is it?
Amity: I think it's a puzzle. Belos closing it must have reset it
Luz: So can you solve it.
Amity: I can try but it could take time.
Christa: We don't have time. There might be another way. Step aside.
Christa uses her Eye powers on the door as it began to glow.
Inside.
Emperor Belos: You? But you don't have your body. But Hunter is just outside. If I lure him in you can...
Keizer: Oh no, that won't be necessary. I have my vessel.
Emperor Belos: What do you mean?
Keizer: I'm looking at him.
Belos's eyes widened with shock.
Emperor Belos: What?
Keizer: When we met 400 years ago, I gave you power and immortality in exchange you help me with my return to rule this world. You were to help me all the way through and I mean all the way through.
Emperor Belos: You, you want to use me as your vessel? No, no I made Hunter just for you.
Keizer: I know, but if we open that door now and Euphemia burst in and destroys me in my weakened state it'll be over. I can't take any chances. I need my body now.
Emperor Belos: But you don't want me. My curse remember?
Keizer: Once I merge with you, it'll purify my vessel. I told you I'd lift the curse after you'd help me.
Emperor Belos: No, you can't do this to me. After all I did for you. I'm loyal to you!
Keizer: Loyal? I seemed to recall you pinning the blame onto me. Saying that I was the enemy.
Belos gasped in response.
Keizer: Did you forget that our minds our linked.
Emperor Belos: No, no, no let me explain. I was trying to fool her. Master please, we had a deal. You said you'd heal me and send me back to the human realm.
Keizer: I said whatever to convince you to help me. I played you, just like you played those witches. You really think I'd send you back after a mediocre performance? You made countless stupid mistakes. You let Euphemia get away with the Eye for 400 years which nearly jeopardized my plans, you lost my portal and got it destroyed, you lost my previous vessel, you allowed a human girl outsmart you not once but twice! And just now you were defeated by children! You went from a insignificant worm to an incompetent one who can't even do one simple job! I can't imagine what you were like before I made the deal with you. The fact is Belos, the only reason I kept you alive this whole time was so I can make sure I have what I need. I was going to strip your immortality away and watch you wither to dust, but it seems I still have one last use for you.
Emperor Belos: No, I won't let you!
Keizer: That is not your decision to make. This is my last gift to you Belos. Embrace it.
Keizer's eye fades away leaving only his dark aura as if flies into Belos's mouth. Belos screamed in agony as he felt excruciating pain.
Emperor Belos: AAAAAH! What have you done to me?! Argh Keizer!
Belos continued screaming as he held his stomach. It opened up into Keizer's eye as Belos continued screaming as his body began to transform in a gruesome way. He looked at his hand as his skin was tearing open to reveal a new black layer and formed long sharp claws. His other arm grew back instantly but it wasn't his but was like the new arm that changed. His clothes were tearing as wings formed on his back and spear like tail sprung out. Long sharp claws tore out from his shoes. Finally his neck extended into a spinal looking cord, his eye balls melted out of the sockets revealing hollow glowing red eyes. His hair fell off as his head changed now having a long beak like snout and long horns. His screams began to distort as it went from a screech to a roar.
Outside.
Christa: Almost there.
But then they felt the whole skull shaking.
King: What's happening?
That's when they heard the roars from the other side of the door.
Luz: What was that?
Christa: No.
Suddenly the door bursts open as a giant black claw like hand emerged and broke down the door and walls. Christa formed a dome like shield around everyone protecting them from the debris falling and even protecting them as the dome fell off the bridge and into the pit. They lost the portal door and the key in the process as we see it fall down into Keizer's mouth as he rose up. The scene shifts to Lilith and the others as they feel the tremor.
Harpy Lilith: What's going on?
Mr. Hirata: The beginning of the end.
Matti: Look out!
Debris from the ceiling was about to fall on them, until Hooty came and wrapped himself around everyone to protect them.
We then cut to the outside where the skull itself was shaking. Eda as she was still holding Archimedes watched as the other coven heads who were regaining conscious as was all the residents. They heard a roar from inside the skull as it still shook, then it began to crack and finally blew up as a new dark figure was rising up. This dark figure kept growing larger and looked like he had a cloak around him as the pieces of the skull flew around him. But it turned out to be his wings wrapping around his body as the dark figure was revealed to be the resurrected Keizer.
He was much larger than his previous revival in the Kameria as he now stood up to 400 feet tall with a huge wing span with red on them. His skin was a shadow black, with his torso having red skeletal rib like patterns but on his abdomen was his large red eye we had previously seen. His hands and feet and long red sharp claws to them with his shoulders being pointed with red tips on them. He had small dorsal red spikes on his back and tail had a pointed red spear tip at the end. He had a vulture like neck but while still black it looked like it lacked skin as it looked more like a spinal cord. His head like skull was a cross between a dragon and a pteranodon with long red straight horns. His eyes appeared to be hollow but still glows red. Finally he stopped growing.
We then see Christa putting down the shield as the Hexsquad stood upon one of the floating pieces of the skull.
Luz: We're too late.
King: Thats...that's Keizer.
Amity: He's even bigger than I imagined.
Hunter: Titan help us.
Gus: Christa you can still stop him right?
Willow: Christa?
Christa didn't answer as she gazed at Keizer with a fearful look. He stood there for a moment as the people looked up at him with a fearful look as they could feel an evil presence from him. Keizer looked around and then looked at his hands, clenching them, trying to feel them. His eyes squinted let out a small growl.
Keizer: Yes, after 400 years. I HAVE RETURNED!
Keizer laughed maniacally as he held up his fists in triumphant.
Keizer: Sub creatures of the Boiling Isles. The Day of Unity is complete. Emperor Belos is dead. Standing before you is your god, the Titan, Keizer! Your contribution to the Day of Unity brought me back. In the process I have stripped you all of your magic. But rest assured you will not need it anymore in the new world and I have no intention of killing you. I should thank you all for your cooperation to bring me back and as promised I will give you the new world. A new era, my era as supreme ruler of the Demon Realm and you as my subjects!
Keizer then heard the sounds of airships coming. Some coven scouts that were piloting a fleet of airships and with them were some abomitons that were out of range of the satellite dish as they aimed their cannons at Keizer.
Scout captain: Open fire!
The abomintons fired away at Keizer's face. Multiple shots were made but as the smoke cleared up he was unfazed.
Alador: This can't be. The abomitons weapons were designed to break through even the toughest steel.
Alice: But he doesn't have a single scratch on him.
Alador: This truly is an unstoppable force.
The fleet kept firing at Keizer but he didn't move much and was unfazed, that was until his horns began to glow a brighter red and his mouth opened up a little showing a red and black aura emerging. He opened his mouth wide open as it shout out a red and black energy beam at the fleet, destroying them instantly.
Keizer: Let that be an example to those who defy me. It is pointless to try and attack me.
The people looked up and stood there in awe and fear. Finally one scout began to run away as did the rest of the people.
Keizer: ( silent chuckle) It is useless to run and hide from me.
Keizer's tail came to his hand and cut across his palm as he looked at his blood.
Keizer: Do as I command and round up the slaves.
Keizer planted his hand on the Boiling Isles as it began to glow. As people ran hands began to rise up from the ground revealing to be Dorodoros wielding their swords and long spears. Choju began to rise out of the ground. First flying out was Battra, letting out his record screeching roar next that followed was Gorza, Red King and Black King, Bakshin and Doratkishim as they chased and cornered the people and fighting the scouts. At Hexside we see Principle Bump and some of the teachers guarding the school entrance as five Dorodoros, Grimstar, Gazort, Red Garon and Witch Killer approached them.
Keizer: You will be part of a new world alongside my army and monsters.
Next thing the deactivated abomitons were reactivating, but their eyes were now a red color. They heard a mechanical roar flying above them as they followed his lead.
Alice: The abomitons are reactivated.
Alador: That can't be. They shouldn't.
Alice: Turn up the signal.
Alador: It's at maximum power.
Alice: Still nothing. What's going on?
Suddenly a group of abomitons landed behind them. They turned around as Stranix guarded the two growling. To their shock they saw a familiar face leading the abomitons.
Alice: They're following him that's why.
Alador: Abomiking.
Abomiking roared commanding the abomitons to attack them.
The scene shifts to Lilith and her group as Hooty unwraps himself. They were on the ground further away from where the skull used to be due to the explosion. But no one appeared to be hurt.
Harpy Lilith: Thank you Hootsifer. Is everyone okay?
Seraphina: Yeah, I'm alright.
Matti: Mr. Hirata.
Mr. Hirata: I'm fine.
Seraphina: Whoa! Look at that!
They looked up and saw Keizer in the distance.
Seraphina: That's Keizer.
Matti: The kids. Are they...
Harpy Lilith: No. I'm going after them.
Lilith flew up but before she could get far, she is pounced by Neronga who had jumped up to her. He held down her arms as she struggled out of his grasp.
Seraphina: Lilith!
But then the three of them found themselves surrounded by Terrania, Kalayavan and Nataran and four Dorodoros and two abomitons.
The scene cuts to Eda still holding Archimedes with Raine by her as they helped stopped the bleeding on his leg.
Adriane Gray: What is that?
Darius: That's what we were trying to stop no thanks to any of you.
Suddenly the abomitons that were shut down had reactivated grabbing three of the coven heads and coming up the spiral were more Dorodoros, arresting the rest.
Terra: What are you doing? Have you forgotten who we are?
Raine: They're not listening to us anymore. They were always Keizer's followers.
Eda looked up and she could barely see one of the floating platforms Luz, Christa and King.
Eda: Kids.
The Dorodoros grabbed hold of Eda, pulling her away from Archimedes.
Eda: What are you...let go!
As they pulled Eda and Raine, two of them came for Archimedes as they carried him up.
Eda: Don't you touch my man!
Eda transformed in her harpy form screeching as she shook off the Dorodoros holding her and attacked the ones taking Archimedes. She fought a few of them until suddenly another choju appeared before her landing from the sky. It stood up making a familiar robotic breathing sound.
Black End.
Keizer looked down as his monster army was terrorizing the Boiling Isles.
Keizer: That's it, bring down the old and make way for the new.
Keizer then turned his head to the platform where Luz and the others were on. They got scared when he set his attention to them. He brought the platform closer to his upper chest as they looked up tired but readying themselves to fight as Keizer looked down at them.
Keizer: I wouldn't have imagined you witches would give me so much trouble. It's unbelievable that you actually managed to defeat my lackey Belos. But I told you before that I would foresee my return and you couldn't stop it. You are about to witness perfection.
Keizer lets out a roar ( 2019 King Ghidorah roar) as it echoed across the demon realm. The roar echoed across the realm as we see islands and other smaller lands began to shake. Suddenly they started moving and were reconnecting with one another until eventually they became the whole body of the titan they once was. Once fully assembled the dead titan's eyes began to glow as it rose from the dead. It let out a roar and followed to wear the call was coming from. Other assembled titans walked with it. They varied in size and stance. Some walked in biped stance while some were quadrupeds. Each one had a different shaped skull, some humanoid, some canine, some bulls and rams.
The scene shifts to the island of monsters as it was shaking. We see lots of beast demons running out of the island with Armin being one of them. They jumped off the edge of the cliffs and into the boiling sea. Of course it did not harm them but they watched as their island was being assembled to be part of an arm for another titan.
The scene shifts on Titan Trapper island as we see the Titan Trappers running out of their homes as the island shakes.
Titan Trapper 1: What's going on?
Titan Trapper 2: Earthquake!
Titan Trapper 3: Look!
The Titan Trappers watched as the arm of the canine titan began to move.
Tarak: The ships! Get to the airships! It's our only chance!
The Titan Trappers got onto the airships and flew off as they watched their island moving.
Bill: Look at that!
Tarak: Tis not possible. The whole island is moving.
Finally the titan of their island got up on all fours as it roared and joined the other titans following the call.
Tarak: How can this be?
Bill: The Grand Huntsman. He's back. He's back!
Now the scene cuts back to Keizer.
Keizer: So tell me. How does it feel to lose Euphemia?
Christa: I haven't lost yet. I will not allow you to destroy the world!
Keizer: Destroy it? I'm recreating it. Into my own image.
Christa got on her staff and flew up.
Luz: Christa!
Christa's used the Eye powers on Keizer. She fired numerous projectile attacks on him. Keizer tried guarding himself as the projectile attacks of the Eye did seem to harm him. Keizer tried to swat her away with his hands but she evaded them fast like a fly pestering you. He tried to bite down onto her but misses. She then used a energy beam attack on the back of his head. Keizer screeched and tripped down a bit. Keizer growled as his horns began to glow. Keizer breathed his dark energy beam at Christa.
She kept flying around but the beam was catching up to her. She looked back as the beam was about to get to her. She dropped down to another platform. Using all the power she had in her, she fired a white beam at Keizer to which he fired back his dark beam as the two beams clashed. The two had a beam struggle fight and although Christa tried her best, Keizer overpowered her as his beam came down to her. The platform Christa was one blew up as we see Christa herself falling down onto another platform. She laid there hurt and burned. Howl nudged her to get up as Keizer came back for her.
Keizer: The power of the Blood Moon Eclipse has amplified my power. I am much stronger than I once was. The amount of power your using of the Eye is no longer effective against me. But to ensure you will never use it again.
Keizer raised his fist up about to kill her, but then King appeared and let out a sonic yell at Keizer. He got hit by the attack as he stepped back. Luz and the others got onto the platform defending her as she and Hunter helped Christa up. Keizer growled at King but smirked when he got a better look at him.
Keizer: Ah the son of Ginga and the last living Skull Cani is here, King Clawthorne. At last we meet.
King: So you're the one my dad fought.
Keizer: Your father and I go way back. He tried to stop me, but I killed him.
King: He killed you too.
Keizer: ( growls) But I'm here now. Where is he now? He started a war that got him killed.
King: Then I'll pick up where he left off.
Keizer: You? Ha! You may have your father's power, but you barely discovered it and don't know it's true capabilities. You're still weak like Euphemia.
They then heard roars in the distance as well as a rumbling sound. They looked in the distance and see the undead titans approaching the isles.
Luz: Are those...titans?!
Keizer: Yes. With Ginga gone, I stand as the new Alpha. I am bringing back the age of the titans but with me as their Alpha.
Keizer laughed but then felt a small flame hit his snout, he was unharmed but looked down and saw it was Luz who held a few more glyphs in her hands.
Keizer: ( silent chuckles) I haven't forgotten about you Luz the human. The guide and guardian of the Holder of the Eye and Son of Ginga. I heard about you and trying to stop my plans. You were gifted with magic from Ginga himself.
Keizer grabs Luz and brings her up.
Amity: Luz!
Keizer brought Luz to his face as she tried to struggle out of his grasp.
Keizer: But despite your skills in glyph magic and even with aid of your friends it's nothing compared to my power. What is it that Ginga saw in you that he decided to give you a fragment of his power? Am I supposed to be threatened by you? No one can defeat the great and powerful Keizer!
Keizer opened his mouth about to eat Luz until he was hit by both Christa and King. He stepped back letting out a yell. Luz fell but was quickly caught by Amity on her staff. The two landed back on the platform as Keizer growled. Suddenly his spear tail came up from the bottom of the platform breaking off part of it separating the group from King as he fell down below.
King: Guys!
Luz and Christa: King!
Before anyone could go down and save him however Keizer yelled out and was about to smash them, but Christa put on the dome shield around the platform. Keizer kept pounding on the shield to break it. But it wasn't going to last long.
Luz: King! We have to get him!
Hunter: Not without him trying kill us.
Amity: Christa is there anything else you can do?
Christa: I can't. I can't keep fighting I used so much of it's power on me. He's too strong.
Gus: So there's nothing else you can do?
Alex: That's it! We're dead. Simple as that. Nice knowing you all. Willow I just want you to know that I love...
Christa: But, I can still get us out.
Christa spread out her arms and brought her hands together, they began to glow white as she stretched her right hand as the palm of it shot out a small white orb and opened into a portal. On the other side appeared to be trees in some woods. Luz recognized the look and color.
Gus: It's the human realm. The Eye really can make portals.
Amity: And our way out.
Willow: What were you about to say Alex?
Alex: I said I love to get out of here. Let's get the heck out of here!
Luz: But everyone is still down there. We can't...
Hunter: There's no time! We have to go now!
Willow, Gus and Alex ran into the portal with Amity following.
Amity: Luz come on! Let's go!
Luz and Hunter tried to keep Christa on her feet as they helped her out. But as this was happening Keizer's claws dug into the dome as he tore it open. His eye's widened when he saw them trying to escape.
Keizer: You will not escape me!
Keizer's tongue stretched out like a chameleon's tongue and grabbed Christa. She screamed as Luz and Hunter grabbed her arms to pull. It wasn't working at first but the two using plant glyphs formed vines and roots to the platform to keep him from pulling any further.
Hunter: Hold on! We got you!
Luz: Amity help!
Amity ran up and used her abomination magic to attack Keizer's tongue. She formed abomination spears and glyphs to attack the tongue but nothing was hurting him. But as this was happening the portal was starting to fade.
Christa: Guys you have to go.
Hunter: Not without you!
Christa: The portal is about to close. If you don't go now you'll be killed here!
Luz: We're not leaving you! Us weirdos have to stick together!
Christa: Not this time.
Hunter: Don't say that Red! Just hang on.
But Christa pulled her arm away from Hunter.
Hunter: What are you doing? Give me your hand!
Christa: Hunter. I wished we spent more time together, maybe gone to school with you but I'm glad we made things right in the end.
Hunter: What are you saying?
Christa: Take care of Howl for me.
Hunter: No.
Christa: Luz take this.
Christa places her free hand on her chest as it began to glow. Phasing out of her chest was the Eye and hands it to Luz.
Luz: The Eye.
Christa: You're now the new holder of the Eye. As long as you have this, you have hope.
Luz: I can't. This is yours!
Christa: Not anymore. Keep it safe. Now go!
Amity: Christa we're all in this together.
Christa: Amity! Please...
Amity looked at Christa's pleading face. She looked up at her with a sad look and back at the portal as it was about to vanish. She didn't want to but there wasn't much time. She stopped attacking the tongue as she frowned and teared up. She took Luz by her arm and tried to pull her.
Luz: What are you doing?!
Amity: I'm sorry Luz. But there's no time left.
Luz: No! I won't!
Christa: Luz...
Luz turned back to Christa with tears flowing down her eyes.
Luz: Christa please...
Christa: It's up to you now. I believe you can win. Luz...( tears up) thank you for being my sister. I love you all.
Luz: Christa...
Hunter: No, no, no, no Red.
Christa: Goodbye.
Christa used her magic to blow wind at the group to the portal and end up in the human realm.
Luz: Christa!
Luz ran to the portal as she saw Christa being taken by Keizer, but it was too late as the portal closed up.
Luz: No! ( holds the Eye) Take us back!
The Eye however didn't activate on her command.
Luz: Come on! Open the portal back to the demon realm! Please. I have to save everyone! How does this work? Go! Open! ( voice cracks) Please.
Luz looked back at the others who all had sad and disheartened looks. Amity placed her hand on Luz's shoulder as the latter hugged her and sobbed.
Amity: I'm sorry.
Gus also began to breakdown as he fell to his knees and cried. Hunter helped him up and tried to comfort him, although he was trying so hard to keep his composure. Willow looked at the two but then saw Alex as he was pacing back and forth as he was panicking.
Alex: That's great. Our home, our families, gone. Game over man! Game over! What are we going to do now? What are we going to do!?
Willow: Alex!
Alex stopped when he felt Willow grab his hand. She hugged him trying to calm him down. Luz lets go of Amity as she heard a small whimper. Standing next to her was Howl who was saddened of losing his new owner. Luz placed her hand on his head.
Luz: I'm sorry Howl.
Willow: We can't stay here.
Amity: Where do we go?
Luz: Home.
The scene shifts to the Hexsquad now standing in front of Luz's house. There it is. After all this time trying to find a way back Luz was finally home, but this was not how she visioned it. She was hoping Eda, King and Christa were here to meet her mom and though she had her friends and was eager to introduce her to them but was hoping for a better time. Until she could figure out how to use the Eye she needed to recuperate and rest. She could only hope the others will be alright. Luz knocked on the door and seconds later her mother Camila opened and gasped when she saw her daughter and her friends.
Luz: Hi Mom. I'm back.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. Finally got to this. I was excited to write this one because I was finally able to bring Keizer. I know one of you were and predicted what would happen. But I'm glad most of you are fine with this villain. Again I didn't discard the Collector, he didn't exist at the time I started this story. Then again I'm not sure if I would still use Collector if I waited later or how he contributes to the Unknown Isles. I did try to ret con him into this story but just couldn't think of anything or it just felt forced. But like the show I end this chapter on a depressing note. Oh and some of you might be confused with what Keizer wants the portal for since not much happened with that here, but it will be explained in a later chapter.
At long last it's time to retell season 3 and this time I'm able to expand it a little more without being cancelled. Though I almost planned on ending the story here and start a new story that was season 3 of this, but thought it was unnecessary and wouldn't get the same reception as this. So we'll continue on here with first being Thanks to Them arc. I have some ideas but I am open for ideas from you guys if there was anything you wanted to see in this arc or if there certain things you wanted the Hexsquad to do in Luz's town. But keep in mind some certain plot points will be changed or not present due to the new plot elements and some wanting to save for another story.
