Chapter 2: Blitzkrieg

2:15 pm

Kay and El were standing outside the school entrance.

"Still missing a lot?" Asked the blonde girl.

"It should come in moments."

In fact, after a few minutes, they were joined by a gray Volkswagen Kübelwagen with a lowered top, driving a girl they both knew well.

Sheska!

Kay thought, amazed.

"On board, Mädchen (girls)!" The newcomer invited them.

The two girls obeyed: Kay sat next to her, El in the back seat.

"They told me you intend to join our school, right?" Asked the driver.

"Exact. But we need the approval of the student council. "

"Not only that, girls ... You will have to undergo various types of exams before receiving the Grüne Karte."

"What?"

"The Green Card, a document distributed by the council that will make you students in all respects."

"Okay, but now leave. The sooner we solve this quest, the sooner we can take care of the others. " Kay stated.

"Okay ... I'll take you to Göring first."

After a few moments the car started off.

At the same moment Hilda was staring out at the sea from her office window.

"I see you thoughtful. There is something wrong?" Eva asked her.

She turned to look at her before answering her.

"Those two are hiding something from us."

"Do you mean Kay and El?"

"Ja. To begin with, there is no Roncesvalles school. "

"Are you sure?"

"You bet. Second thing, that girl, El ... She talked about sensha-do. "

"So what?"

"Sensha-do is a Japanese term for the art of tanks. Here in Europe it is not used. Terms such as English Tankery, German Panzer-fahren and others are used. " She explained to her.

"Maybe they are two otaku following the Japanese championships ... You know, sometimes they tend to borrow Japanese terms and insert them into the language."

"Maybe, maybe ... In any case, I will ask the Gestapo to keep an eye on those two, and to investigate a little bit about them, to verify if their other statements are sincere or not. and there is a third thing ... "

"What?"

"Do you have your smartphone, with you?"

In response, Eva rummaged in the left pocket of her skirt and from it took out the phone which she showed to her friend.

"Go to Google, and look for information on the Japanese schools Saunders and Blue Division."

Eva obeyed.

"Let's see ... Saunders is an American-style floating school, Blue Division is a Spanish-style school." She said.

"What kind of uniforms are they wearing?"

"Do you mean normal or sensha-do?"

"Both."

"Let's see ... Here it says that the Saunders wear a gray jacket over a white shirt, a black tie and a red miniskirt ..."

"What about Blue Division?"

"There they use a single uniform, a blue blouse with a low neckline and a short green skirt."

"In short, the same uniforms worn by our guests."

"Of course."

"The names of the captains of their panzer-fahren teams?"

Eva snorted, then typed something on the cell.

"Their first names are not there (I think for reasons of privacy) but their nicknames ... Oh, mein gott!" Exclaimed the dark-haired girl, amazed.

"Their names are El and Kay, right?"

"Yes… Yes they call it that! And the best part is that they are identical to the new arrivals! "

This business stinks me more and more.

She said as she reached for the phone.

"Do you intend to have them arrested? Even if they lied to us, they don't seem hostile to me. "

"No, no arrest them ... But I have another idea in mind."

She dialed a number and waited. After two rings a female voice said:

"Gestapo headquarters."

"This is Hilda."

"Guten Tag, mein Führer! How can I help you?"

"Get me in touch with Zuse, chief of cyber espionage."

"A moment…"

There was a click, then after a few seconds another voice said:

"Zuse."

"Listen to me carefully: tell your agents to contact their friends in Japan via Facebook, more precisely the students from Saunders and Blue Division. I want to know if the captains of their panzer-fahren teams are still there. "

"It will be done. How long do you need this information? "

"Tonight."

"Okay ... I'll contact you."

Communication closed.

"And now let's play the second card ..."

She dialed another number and waited. After a few moments a female voice said:

"Ribbentrop, can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear, mein Führer."

"Contact the English school El Alamein, and ask about a Scarlett Johnson."

"Yes, immediately!"

"Contact me as soon as you get the answer."

"Yes sir!"

As soon as she attacked he sat down in the chair.

"Now I can only wait ..."

Meanwhile the car with Kay, El and Sheska on board proceeded through the city.

"Am I wrong or you are not wearing the swastika headband?" Asked the former Blue Division commander.

"We students don't wear it. Only the student council and the police force, the SS. "

Kay, for her part, was looking around: pedestrians and vehicles went around the streets, every now and then she saw a swastika flag or a couple of SS.

The last time I was here the school was in the throes of celebrations for liberation from Hilda's tyranny ... But that was before I traveled into the past, altering the course of events.

She think.

Suddenly her attention was drawn to a billboard.

"Stop!" She exclaimed.

Sheska obeyed, braking.

"What's going on, Kay?" El asked.

The blonde pointed to the right, and then El saw the billboard too. It depicted Göring, Hilda's right arm, in boxing gear: black shirt with SS logo, black shorts and blue boxing gloves. Her arms were raised to the sky, looking straight ahead with a proud expression. Below, an inscription said:

Emma "Maus" Sonnemann, AKA Blitzkrieg. Pride of the school and of the entire Germany!

"Does Göring practice boxing?" El asked.

"Exact." Sheska answered her.

"How come they call her Maus and Blitzkrieg?"

"Because it is an unstoppable war machine. Her shots are fast and lethal, opponents usually go down in half a minute. "

Both Kay and El gasped.

"A real Maus, in short ..." The first commented.

"Exact. You better not make her angry, otherwise she'll send you straight to the moon! " The driver warned her in a joking tone.

Kay swallowed, intimidated.

"Okay, but now let's resume the journey."
