Everyone decided to take a trip to Casey's grandparents farm for a little vacation, to take a break. Casey was standing outside with his arms crossed behind his back looking at the farmhouse. April steps out and stretches her arms out, yawning. She leans on Casey's seat.
"Sure is beautiful up here this time of the year," April commented.
"It's nice to get away from the city after all we'vie been through,...together, you know, quiet time...alone," Casey chuckles, nervously. "Just the two of us."
"So, what exactly are you trying to say to me, Casey Jones?" April pressed, leaning in closer to him.
Casey stands up. "O-Okay, it's just, you know, don't get me wrong," He takes her hands. "I don't wanna move too fast here and nothing, but I'vie been thinking, maybe -"
Leo yells as he is thrown and he crashes in between them, landing at the door. "Don't mind us," He grunts.
"Ah, much too slow, my son," Splinter tells him. Leo jumps up but Splinter throws him over his shoulder. Splinter takes April's hand, apologetically.
"Please, to about your business," He tells her then jumps back to Leo. Yuuki throws in a lunch at Leo from behind but he jumps over her, dodging it.
"Got to be quicker than that, little ninja." He teased.
Yuuki smirks as an idea popped into her mind. "Hey Leo," She said as she turned around walking closer to him. "After this, maybe we could -" She leans in closer and Leo tensed up as she does and she whispers "Have a little one on one training by ourselves...in the barn." Leo's eyes widen as he backed away from her as his cheeks turned a deep green color, blushing.
"Focus, Yuuki. We're supposed to be training." He sputtered as he laughed nervously, still blushing.
Yuuki smirked. She noticed that there was something strange going on with Leo and his brothers for the past few days, especially with the leader in blue. He and his brothers were extremely clingy towards their girlfriends and protective as to even snap at one another if they talked to their girlfriends. At first, she was surprised by his sudden attitude until she finally realized what was up when Splinter told her. It was mating season for his sons. She snickered looking at the state that Leo was in.
"Whatever you say, fearless leader." She teased as she tested him. She heard a low growl come from Leo.
"Uh, weren't you guys going to pick apples or something?" April asked as the three trained.
"That was Don," Leo calls out as he dodges a punch from Splinter. "Although, Mikey and Raph said something about settling a bet? "
In the forest, that was an apple orchard, Donnie was standing next to a tree with an apple on top of his head.
"Now, don't move," Mikey calls out. He shoots an arrow and the apple splits in half and Raph does the same.
"YAHOO!" Mikey cheered.
"Bullseye!" Raph exclaimed.
"Me next!" Allows pitched in, eagerly.
Donnie groaned as he looked down at the pile of cut apples. "That's it, after twenty consecutive double bulls-eyes, I'm officially declaring this contest a tie!"
Mikey whines. "Aw, but we haven't gotten even to the blindfold round yet! "
"Forget it, William Tell," Donnie tells him. "We came here to pick apples," He holds up an apple. "We have to bring back at one still-" Mikey fires off an arrow at the apple and sticks it in the tree. Raph does the same, splitting the apple.
"Intact," Donnie deadpanned.
Suddenly, the sound of a gun shot echoed in the forest. They gasp and look behind them. The four hear shots fired again as bird fly away at the noise. They immediately split up take cover to find a place to hide. They see a man wearing glasses and a green coat, running. He falls to his knees as he collapses. He was injured.
"Someone," He grunted in pain. "...Someone help. " The three turtles and fox walk over to the man. Donnie turns him over to inspect him.
The man's eyes were closed tightly as he gritted through his teeth in pain. "Help me please. T-They'vie got a bomb...The city...aliens...didn't want...not right...gone too far." His head falls to the side as he blacked out. Carefully, Donnie lifts up the inside of the man's coat.
His eyes widen in alarm as he sees pool of dark red blood that was seeping and staining through the shirt.
"This man's been shot in the shoulder!" Donnie exclaimed.
"What was he talking about?" Raph questioned. "A bomb or something?"
"He went over this way!" They hear from the distance and rustling from the bushes nearby. "I see his tracks. Let's finish this!"
Donnie gritted through his teeth, in frustration. If only Venus was with them then she could heal this poor man up no problem, but she was back at the farmhouse. By the time they make it back, it would be too late by then.
Donnie looks up at Mikey, Alex, and Raph. "I'll stay and do what I can for him," He tells the three of them. "You guys need to lead this others away from here."
Raph, Mikey, and Alex run towards the voices while Donnie drags the man further away into the bushes. A man with black and white hair, wearing dark glasses and another man with a beard and another one was wearing a green hat, stood beside him, with guns in hand.
"I don't know, Skunk," One of them said to black and white haired man. "Hunting down one of our own? USN't this a little...extreme?"
"Nothing is too extreme in the fight against the alien menace puke!" Skunk exclaimed. "Remember who we are. We're Humans Against The Extraterrestrials, and as a member of HATE, Michael knew the rules, " From the bushes, Donnie was quietly listening in on the conversation. He looked down at the the wounded man next to him, whom he assumed was Michael.
"Our cause is a lifelong commitment," Skunk explained. "No one leaves. Find him. He's wounded, He won't get far. I need to make last minute preparations at the base. We'vie come too far to let one traitor forces scrub the entire mission."
Deep within the forest, one of the members was searching for the traitor. Raph smirks evilly as he pointed an arrow at him. He fires it and the man ducks. The arrow hits his hat, sticking it into a tree. The man fires a missile into the tree, where Raph was in and he laughs, thinking that he got his attacker. He bends down and reaches for his hat. The man gasps when he sees Raph jump down and kicks him to the ground.
Another one was walking on a small cliff, he sees Raph and pointed his gun at him. "I-It's true! Aliens! Eat grenade, space slime!" He fires his grenade gun at Raph back-flips out of the way from the explosions. One of the missiles hits a tree and it falls towards Raph. He screamed as the tree falls on top of him. The man with the grenade gun walks up to the pinned down turtle.
"Skunk was right," He said. "You space freaks haven't left Earth," He pointed the gun at Raph. "Your green Martian butt is mine."
Raph snarled as the target locked onto his face.
High above, in the trees, Mikey and Alex were perched in them as they watched. Mikey picks an apple and throws it at the man's head. Alex laughed.
"Ow!" He exclaimed, rubbing his head. "What the!? "
Mikey laughs under his breath and the man aims his gun at Mikey and Alex. They look in surprise and the man fired. The tree catches on fire, but there were no sign of the turtle and fox. Mikey takes the gun behind the man's back. "Hey pal, didn't your mom tell you about these things?" He questioned, pointing to his eye. "You'll put your eye out, kid! "
The man backed away in fear. "We're on to you, ET!" He trips over a branch and stumbled. He quickly stands back up, backing up towards a rock.
"ET, phone home," Mikey mocked, making sounds.
"S-Stay back!" The man ordered, pulling out a nun chuck from his back. "Keep away from me!"
Mikey chuckled. "This is just too good to be true," He pulls out his nun chucks, expertly, spinning them. He tucks them under his arms and the man looks at him in shock. Mikey swings his weapon taking the belt off of the man, pulling his pants down. The man fainted, falling to the ground.
At an abandoned farmhouse, the H.A.T.E organization were cheering, at their leader.
"Members of the Humans Against the Extraterrestrials, today, we make history. Today, we show those alien scumbags that you don't mess with the human race! Not when H.A.T.E. is on the job!" Skunk declared, his members cheering.
"You heard the lies: the aliens were defeated, all is safe. Well, I don't believe it. " He jumps down from the roof. "Look at the news," He unrolls one of the posters in his hands, showing a picture of a monster and a subway train. "Aliens attack on subway skirmish," He pulls it away revealing another poster of a monster in the sewers. "Aliens in our sewers," The shows another in an alley. "Mob chases alien in Avenger Alley. And what do these sightings have in common?"
" Uh, aliens?" One of his members asked.
"NO! Well,... yeah, but no! What else?"
The members looks at each other before answering.
"New York City!"
"That's right!" Skunk crumpled up the posters. "They're dug deep in the Big Apple and nobody's doing a freaking thing about it! Until now," He walked over to the barn doors and opened them, revealing what was inside. "This is the last big hope of the human race."
A bomb.
"And we're gonna blow it up, right in the middle of alien central."
Mikey and Alex back-flips in front of Donnie with Raph running up behind them.
"Donnie, how's the patient?" Mikey questioned.
" I'vie done all I can do for him here," Donnie explained. "We need to get him to a hospital fast."
"I could take him in the sidecar," Mikey answered, jerking his thumb towards his Shell Cycle. Raph runs up to Donnie.
"Come on, I'll give you a hand with him," He and Donnie started to pick the man up and walk him over to Mikey's cycle, strapping him in. "What about that bomb he was babbling about?" Raph questioned, as they placed the man in the sidecar. " I thought I heard that leader guy say something about a base. "
Raph, and Donnie watch Mikey and Alex leave with the injured man.
"Let's find it," Donnie said as the two of them run off into the forest.
Back at the farmhouse, April and Casey were walking in the woods on a trail, talking.
"Anyways, I guess, what I was trying to say before was," They hold hands. "I mean, now that we're...you know, and all," Casey stops and he takes her other hand. "Maybe it's time we-"
A honk interrupts them and they look in surprise as a car was speeding towards them. They quickly moved out of the way as it drive towards the farmhouse.
"Hey! Hey, watch where you're driving, lady!" April exclaimed angrily as she chases after the car.
"April, wait, hang on a second!" Casey shouted, running after her.
A short black haired woman wearing a yellow shirt and brown vest, brown necklace, glasses, sandals, and dark blue jeans stepped out from the car. She turns to April. "Yeah? Why don't you want where you're standing?" She questioned and walks past April towards Casey. "Who is this crazy woman, Arnold?"
"Ma, I told you never to call me that!" Casey protested in embarrassment.
He takes April's wrist holding it out towards his mother. "Ma, this is April, you know, the girl I'vie been telling you about?"
"On really?" His mother asked, surprised. "I get to meet the mystery woman! I don't know how many months I'vie been hearing about your fiance. "
April looks at her in shock. "Fiance?" She asked. She frowns as she looks at Casey, who was smiling nervously. April pinches his ear. "May I have a word with you in private, dear?" She growled as she dragged Casey away, into the house.
Leo, Yuuki, and Splinter were meditating in the living room. They hear the door slam open as April and Casey walked inside, catching their attention.
"Did you tell your mother that we're ENGAGED?!" April demanded, as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Wait a minute, Casey proposed to you?!" Yuuki softly asked in shock. "Did you say yes?!"
"No!" April and Casey both answered at the same.
"No!" Casey protested and his shoulders slumped in defeat. "Kinda,"
"Well, which is it?" Yuuki questioned. "It's either a yes or no?" Splinter shot Yuuki a glare, signaling her to stop.
"You gotta understand, my mom hates every girl I ever brought home. So I just said it to shut her up. I never thought that she'd come looking for ya!" Casey tried to explain, but April looked away with her arms crossed.
"I just wanted her to like you, is all, cause, you know, you're...you're special." He turns her to him.
" Really?" April asked softly. The two inch closer for a kiss.
"Do it!" Yuuki whispered. "Do it!"
The two immediately stopped, realizing that they weren't alone in the room. The two of them gave Leo, Yuuki, and Splinter a look, who were looking at them.
April clears her throat. "Um, don't mind us, guys."
Splinter clears his throat while Leo turns to him nervously. "Perhaps we should continue our, uh, meditation session elsewhere?"
"Aw, I wanted to see you two make out," Yuuki pouted.
"We'vie seen plenty of making out from you and Leo," April said. "It's a wonder both your lips aren't chapped."
Leo and Yuuki's face turned bright red, completely embarrassed.
Splinter gives Leo a look, narrowing his eyes at his son. For some time, he had noticed that his sons were becoming more protective with the four girls. One time, he even caught Mikey snapping at Raph for accidentally bumping into Alex, which was unusual coming from his energetic son. He even caught Donatello staring at Venus with a dazed look on his face, was unusual because he was usually not distracted.
Even though Splinter was happy at the chance that one of his sons was already becoming a father with a baby on the way. His sons were also too young, especially the girls, which had him worried. Now, he had noticed that his other sons Donatello, Michelangelo and Leonardo where becoming more active. He realizes what it was, it was their mating season.
He gives Leo a stern look and speaks. "We're going to have talk about this." Leo shifted uncomfortably. He remembered Splinter's "talk" with him and his brothers till the day he die.
"April!" Yuuki exclaimed. "Why you say that?! Especially in front of Splinter!"
Then they hear loud banging on the door.
Ms. Jones pounded on the door. "So, you're gonna make me stand outside on the road all day?"
"Don't come in, Ms. Jones! " April exclaimed as Casey runs to the door. "The, uh, uh, place is a mess!"
Casey tried to hold the door back but Ms. Jones slams it open. April looks around seeing Leo, Yuuki, and Splinter are gone. "Oh, it's not that bad, dear," Ms. Jones reassures her. " If you don't mind living in a pigsty. "
April gives Casey a look as she glares at him.
Leo, Splinter and Yuuki quickly made it upstairs without making any noise.
"What's going on?" a voice called out. They turned to see Venus and Mona, who was resting on the bed with a blanket draped over her. Her stomach was starting to show a little bump.
"Casey's mother has come to visit." said Leo.
"We need to move to the barn quietly before she noticed us." said Splinter.
The four helped Mona up was they carefully carried her out the window. Oh the roof, Leo picked Mona up and the four jumped down, heading towards the barn, unnoticed.
"Ah, piece of cake," said Raph as he and Donnie looked down at the footprints that were left behind. "These wackos got a lot to learn about covering their tracks. "
"Just remember," Donnie reminded him. "These wackos are playing with some very dangerous toys. And, we don't know how many of them there are."
"I say, bring 'em on," answered Raph, clenching his fist. Suddenly, the two hear a rustle and the trees near them suddenly explode. H.A.T.E members drove towards them on four wheel buggies. They fire at Raph and Donnie. Quickly, Donnie jumps onto a tree, dodging a blast. He jumps from branch to branch with Raph following after him as the members chased them.
Back at the farmhouse, April and Casey were standing outside. April had an angry look on her face, arms crossed, as she watched Mrs. Jones unload her luggage from the car.
"Sorry, April, my ma has a real way of ticking people off," explained Casey.
"It's not your mom I'm angry with," April snarled. "She and I just got off on the wrong foot."
She sees Mrs. Jones was struggling with her bags and walked over her. "Here, let me help you with that," offered April, gently.
Casey's mother frowns as she narrowed her eyes at April. "What do I look like, some feeble old woman who can't carry her own bag?!" exclaimed Mrs. Jones as she walked towards the trunk.
"Sorry, I was just..." said April, hesitantly.
"Here, see if you can't make yourself useful," said Mrs. Jones as she popped the hood of her trunk, opening it. Inside were baskets of apples. "Mrs. Sondra's down the road gave me ten bushels of her apples. You can haul 'em out to the barn. "
Casey walks up to them. "I can help too, ma!" He said as he reaches in to grab a basket.
" No!" Mrs. Jones stops him as she slaps his head. "You go into town and do the marketing. I got a list inside," Then she picked up her suitcase and started walking towards the farmhouse. She paused for a second before narrowing her eyes directly at April. "I don't like to trust my money with strangers."
Casey gives April a sympathetic look then he chased after his mother.
"Hey, wait a minute, I-" protested April as she tried to call out. But, the two were out of ears reach and the door slammed shut. April groaned, frustrated. Leo and Yuuki appeared next to her.
"Need a hand?" offered Leo as April picked up a basket. He takes two while Yuuki picked up one and they followed the red-haired woman towards the barn. Splinter opens the door for them. Venus and Mona, who was resting on a makeshift bed of hay, were inside as well. The two looked up as they heard April, Leo, and Yuuki walk in, carrying the baskets of apples.
"Now I see where Casey gets his ability to be annoying," ranted April. "His mother." She placed the basket down and crossed her arms.
"Do not take her disapproval personally, Ms. O'Neil," said Splinter as he walks up to her. "Parents can be very overprotective over their children."
Leo laughs. "Tell me about it," He commented as he places down the two baskets.
"I agree." Yuuki chimed in
Meanwhile, Donnie jumps using his BO staff, evading the lasers. He hangs upside down from a branch and knocks down two member off from the buggy, sending it flying off a cliff and it explodes. Donnie jumps down from the tree as one of them pulls out a taser. He tries to shock Donnie but the purple masked turtle knocked the taser out of his hand and it lands on the H.A.T.E member, shocking him instead.
Raph runs as lasers were being fired at him. He sees a small gap ahead and jumps over it with ease. Then he turns to the members who jump over over the gap with their buggy. As they drove closer, Raph jumps off the cliff. They stop the buggy and the driver steps out. He looks down and sees Raph walking on an edge nearby.
The H.A.T.E. member aims his crossbow at Raph. "Say goodbye, space freak," He fires the arrow. But, Raph catches the arrow before the it could hit his face. The member gaped in surprised and quickly tried to reload another arrow. When he looks back at Raph, he sees that the turtle had vanished. Underneath him, Raph walked along the edge, unseen. He reaches up and grabs the member by his legs and pulls him off the cliff. Raph climbs up as he stood on the edge watching the member tumble down to the ground, hitting every rock and branch as he did.
Raph cringed. "Poo, that hurts."
Then he dodges a laser as it was fired from another member. Raph jumps on top of the buggy and lands on the bazooka. The man looks up as he saw Raph coming down on him with a kick. Everything went black as Raph knocked him out.
Back at the farmhouse, April leads Mrs. Jones into the barn. "Here you go, Ms. Jones, all neatly stacked," She gestured towards the baskets of apples that were stacked.
"I see that, dear," said Mrs. Jones. April smiles, proudly. "But they aren't peeled."
Aprils mouth dropped slightly in shock as she looked at the woman. "I-I'd be happy to peel them," She said.
"Good, try not to bruise 'em up too much," said Mrs. Jones as she handed April a peeler and walked away. Splinter walks up to her and she groaned, angrily.
"There's just no pleasing that woman!"
Leo takes out his swords and scratches them together.
"Let's get to it." said Yuuki as she picked up an apple.
At a hospital, the injured H.A.T.E. member was lying at the front entrance as a doctor and nurses looked over him.
"We'vie got an unidentified male, shoulder wound and multiple fractures."
"Let bring him in. On my count, one, two, three, ..." Mikey watches from the corner as they took him in.
"Sorry for the drop and dash, pal," He whispered. "But, you're in good hands now." He jumps onto his Shell Cycle, where Alex was waiting for him and left.
At the base, Skunk paces around waiting for his troops to return. "The bomb is good to go. Why haven't the patrols reported in?" He places his hands on his hips, annoyed then he sees something heading towards him, a buggy.
"About time," He uses his binoculars but sees that no one was riding it. "What the?!" He looks closer and sees oil was leaking from it. Hiding in the trees nearby, Donnie pulls out the taser that one of the members dropped and ignited the oil trail with it.
"We're under attack, take cover!"
Skunk and the other members quickly scurried and ran away. The buggy catches on fire then crashes and explodes. While the members were distracted, Donnie and Raph quickly run to the barn. Donnie opens the door and looks around.
"Keep your eyes peeled for anything that looks like a bomb," He looks towards Raph as he walked in. Donnie's eyes widen in shock and he let out an uneasy sound.
"This fit the bill?" questioned Raph, inside the truck with the bomb.
"Don't touch that thing!" warned Donnie. "That's not just any bomb," He climbs into the truck. "It's a thermonuclear device and it's armed!"
"What are these maniacs doing with a nuke?" asked Raph.
"Wasting alien scum like you," The two heard a voice call out from behind. They turned to see Skunk, who was standing at the barn doors, aiming his gun at them. The two turtles gasp, putting their hands up in surrender.
"Thought you alien garbage can stop me from taking out your stronghold in New York City?" asked Skunk, advancing towards them. "Well, guess again."
"No idea what you talking about," said Raph.
"Deny it all you want, but nothing will stop me from keeping this planet for the human race! Nothing!" declared the H.A.T.E. leader. He aims his gun at them getting ready to fire. Donnie quickly pulls out his staff and leaps towards him. He knocks Skunk down and Raph knocks the gun out from Skunk's hands. The leader pulls out a knife from his boot but Donnie knocks it out of his hands. He gasps in shock as he looks up to the two in fear.
"Look," questioned Raph. "Why don't you make like a good little hate monger and disarm your nuke?"
"Why don't you make like a good little alien and...and eat this!" Skunk quickly pulls out a pepper spray at the the two. Donnie and Raph shout in pain as they felt their eyes sting from the spray, coughing. Skunk gets into the truck and drives away, speeding off.
"You aliens will perish!" He shouted. "Every last one of ya!"
Donnie and Raph coughed as they rubbed their eyes. "Man, do I feel like a sucker," commented Raph. "I'm just glad Mikey wasn't here seeing us losing the bad guy."
Donnie crosses his arms. "We'll never catch him now," He said, disappointed.
Raph smirked. "Never say never, Donnie," He said as he jerks his thumb at a buggy. They climbed in as Raph drove the truck with Donnie in the passenger seat, chasing after the truck.
In the barn, April stands next to Mrs. Jones, gesturing towards the baskets of apples that were peeled. "There you go," She said. "Peeled and cored." April places her hands on her hips, waiting for Mrs. Jones to praise her. Casey's mother shakes her head.
"You did 'em all? I only need a dozen for the pie. "
April groans in frustration, crossing her arms. "Such a waste, huh?" April tosses an apple in her hand catching it.
" Oh well, might as well press the rest into cider before they rot. "
"Listen, I'm getting a little frustrated with you giving me orders all the time," said April. "I would prefer to be treated as an adult, who happens to care great deal about your son. I think I deserve a little respect."
"Well, all that negativity won't get those apples pressed, dear," answered Mrs. Jones, walking away carrying the apples. April blinks in disbelief. Leo, Yuuki, Splinter, Mona and Venus peeks out from a truck behind her.
"R-Right, let's get started on the cider," said Leo, nervously.
On the road, Donnie and Raph chased after the H.A.T.E. leader on the buggy, catching up to him. Skunk hears them and looks at the side mirror seeing the two. "Huh? Those aliens scums are still trying to stop me. I'll show 'em. Nobody stops the Humans Against the Extraterrestrials!" He speeds to the sides trying to block Donnie and Raph.
"This is where you get off!" shouted Raph.
" Since when am I supposed to go do the crazy stuff?" asked Donnie in disbelief. "That's your department, Raph! "
"Just go!" shouted Raph. Hesitantly, Donnie climbed out from the passenger seat, clutching the side of the buggy. Raph speeds up, making him wobble. Up ahead, Mikey was coming down the road on his Shell Cycle.
" He's king of the cycle," He bragged to himself. "The main man of the motorbike, he's turtle kindle and he-" Alex cuts him off. "TRUCK!" she screamed.
Mikey's eyes widen when he sees the truck heading towards them. "Whoa!" He moves to the side and crashes into the railings. He quickly pulls Alex clutching her tightly to him as he jumped off from the Shell Cycle. Mikey turned on his back, landing on his shell and the two tumbled on the ground. The two look up and see Raph and Donnie chasing after the truck.
"Hey, my bros!" shouted Mikey.
Donnie jumps from the buggy and grabs onto the back of the truck, hanging on to the edge. He manages to pull himself up and open the door. Donnie stumbles as he walks towards to the bomb and lands on top of it. "Okay," He said with a nervous look. "Now all I have to do is remove the plutonium core. At 90 miles an hour. With an maniac at the wheel!" panicked, Donnie.
Raph speeds to the side of the truck and Skunk tries to ram him off the road. Raph growled as he drove up to the passenger side of the truck and jumped on the the window, hanging onto the side of the door. The buggy crashes off the road.
Skunk laughs. "Enjoy the scenic route, alien scum."
"Remember me?" asked Raph as he jumps into the window, trying to take the wheel.
"You're not going to stop me," Skunk growls, pushing him off. "Nobody's going to stop me!" The truck swerves as Raph tries to grab for the wheel.
At the back of the truck, Donnie was trying to disarm the bomb. "Careful, just gotta get just the right," The truck swerves again, making him cut a wire. He panics. "It's the wrong wire!" Donnie sees the bomb starting to count down from 20 seconds. Raph wrestles with Skunk at the front of the truck.
"Raph, the nuke's activated!" shouted Donnie from the back of the truck. "Bail out, now!" Raph punches Skunk in the face, knocking him out. He jumps out, holding Skunk. Donnie rides a cart that was in the truck.
"Cowing!" He jumps off landing in a ditch next to Raph and Skunk.
"Raph, get down!" warned Donnie. They cringe as the truck drove a few feet away from them. It explodes.
"Shouldn't we be vaporized or something?" questioned Raph as he looks at Donnie confused.
Donnie smiles. "That wasn't a nuclear explosion," He explained as he held up a large tube. "I removed the plutonium core, but all your crazy driving made me set of the detonation charge. That's what blew."
"Hope the authorities don't mind handling the little gift we left for 'em" said Raph as they started to walk away, leaving Skunk unconscious and tied up with the plutonium core in his lap.
Mikey drives up to them. "Hey, you guys need a ride?"
Casey opens the door with his foot, carrying bags of groceries. "I'm back. How'd it go with ma?" He said to April as he walked in. She was wearing an apron, washing dishes.
"Let's put it this way," said April as she wipes her hands. "We haven't killed each other," She blows away a stray bang from her face. "Yet."
Then the door opens behind her. "Arnold Casey Jones, I only have one thing to say," Mrs. Jones declared as she walked in, holding a slice of pie and a cup of cider in her hands. "I really like this girl. She passed the strength test, the patience test, the endurance test, the assertiveness test, as she makes pretty good apple cider too," She smiles. "Here, have some pie and cider, dear."
"Uh, thanks, Ms. Jones," said April in surprise and a little shocked.
"Call me ma, you'vie earned it," explained Mrs. Jones. "And don't you worry about the dishes. Arnold will take care of them right after he helps me outside." April glances over at Casey in surprise and he raises an eyebrow. Casey's mother sees that there were baby stuff besides groceries as well.
"Arnold, don't tell me that you got this poor girl pregnant!" She shouted in surprise.
April blushed as her face turned completely red. Casey's mouth dropped in shock. "No! Ma, it's not like that! I'm just getting this stuff for my friend. He's the one who's expecting a baby, not me!" Explained Casey as he sputtered.
Mrs. Jones stared at him for a minute before she pulls Casey by his arm dragging him outside. She stood in silence waiting for him to explain.
"Look ma, I'vie got a confession to make," He starts, turning to his mother. "We're not really engaged."
"On Arnold, you really think your mother couldn't figure that one out for yourself?" She asked, crossing her arms. Casey's eyes widen in surprise. She knew this whole time?
"One more thing, you don't have to tell me now, but someday, I'd really like to hear the story behind the big rat, lizard and the two giant turtles. And who's the other girl? Don't tell me you kidnapped her."
"MA!" Shouted Casey, embarrassed.
From the barn, Leo and Splinter had blank looks on their faces. Mona and Venus snickered.
"Why does everybody assume that I'm kidnapped?" said Yuuki in disbelief, shaking her head.
