Giyu on his way to the waterfall estate as he arrived and saw his daughter, Tomioka Yumi jogging around the outside of the estate. She wears a dark blue Kimono with black hakama pants. [Kanao's final selection outfit but blue and black, same face and hairstyle as Kanae but with her wearing Crow Wing hairclips on each side and same ocean blue eyes as Giyu's "Oto-san, your back from your mission!" "I see you are still training, What's your brother up to?" Asked Giyu as Yumi replied "He's busy slice dummy matts around the field, he requested over 50 of them to be placed there." "So he's reaching that much hardwork training there, what about you?" Giyu asked and Yumi replied "stamina training and then i plan on the 50 dummy slice training. I have to get enough stamina to catch up to Nii-chan for that kind of training." Giyu smiled and nodded as he said "Good to know, I'll prepare lunch for you both, you'll need a lot of energy." "Of course!" Yumi Responded while she smiled in a gentle way, Giyu walks in as Yumi continues her jogging. While he witnesses his son, Tomioka Giichi, slaying dummies which are all over the water estate's Field. Him having the same features as Giyu, blue eyes and raven hair but short and both twins seem to have both Kanae's skin color. Giyu saw how much potential his kids are having, though he doesn't want them to join the corps. He knows he can't stop them since they don't want to be weak since demons will continue to roam around, This is how his kids are.

Giyu POV:

My life with the twins helped me move on since the passing of my love life, No pillar knows about the twins, only Kanao, Aoi, Ubayushiki, Kanae's cultivator and Sakonji knows them. As for Shinobu, She doesn't know about them simply because Kanae And i think she hates me and among other reasons, despite being kind it's hard to see if she is. The butterflies kept everything a secret from her.

In fact, Kanae was staying with me alot lately because both Kocho sisters argue a lot until things fell apart for her. Kanae had a hard time trying to calm Shinobu down from being bloodthirsty and ruthless to the point that she lashes her anger out on others, Including myself. Shinobu used to lash her anger out on me alot every time I spoke to Kanae. Of course, she and i were dating, long before Kanae became a pillar, she was apparently a Tsugoku to a flower pillar\Medical-leader who previously retired till her passing, who cultivated her and Shinobu soon after being found by Himejima, Till Kanae became a pillar since age 14 and her cultivator retired and remained herself, the owner of the butterfly mansion and a medical branch leader.

Myself and Kanae were dating and we kept it a secret because of how Shinobu sees me, which was making Kanae sad, her deepest wish to have her little sister to accept me and be a cheerful girl. Like i mentioned before, Her dealing with her sister was too much, she tried all her best to make her smile, by cheering her up. But Shinobu didn't even listen one single bit and continued to go off being impatient and hot tempered.

Most of the time, Kanae stayed with me quite often, she used to cry a lot and receiving my comfort, she was getting tired of dealing with her sister, She apologised to those who her sister was rude towards, she took care of her as an older sibling would, did her best to make sure she becomes a cheerful girl as she used to be before her parents died. But these words Shinobu said to her, Crossed the line and Broke her heart saying this to her. "You are a mistake! Kanae!" 'Kanae, not Nee-san, Just Kanae.' These words made Kanae isolate herself by staying with me more often. Permanently infact, She was crying real loud recieving my comfort, I've never seen her cry in such a heart shattered way. Watching my girlfriend crying in so much pain, hurts so much. I couldn't believe how much ungrateful Shinobu had been to her. I requested the master to give her a long term break because of her frail and broken heart in which he accepts it.

Until eventually She gave up on Taking care of Shinobu, and since Her cultivator, the former pillar, who was a leader of the butterfly mansion and a doctor. She knows she will take care of Shinobu, Kanae couldn't keep it up anymore, she now wanted to stay with me because how much i mean to her. I took my time taking care of her, protecting her, and comforting her. And she eventually felt so much happier with me, then last time.

Until then, since age 16, the twins were born and we concealed it completely by Having the master to let others believe we were on a 1 year mission. While in reality, we were staying with Urokodaki Sakonji to conceal Kanae's pregnancy. Of course, I thought she was mad at me for that but she was apparently happy to have me as the father of her children. I asked her about this when it comes to her sister and she straight up refuses, she gave up on her sister leaving her in her cultivator's care. She was essentially tired of her in which i understand, i had the same situation with my parents since they considered me as an unwanted child, that i ran away from them, even if it means leaving my lovely older sister behind.

During the time in our concealment mission, we got married in secret for Kanae to be my official wife in which she was happy with. Until at age 21, fate decided to take Kanae away from me and our children, from us. She died at the hands of Upper moon 2, her body wasn't found at all. As such, she was presumed Devoured. only her broken sword, Her butterfly Haori stained with her blood (in which i took it before Shinobu could get the chance.) and her 2 green butterfly hairclips remains. Everything fell apart, For me, the twins, Kanao, Aoi, other pillars, most of all Shinobu...she was crying and already losing her temper to the core in the funeral. What's worse after the funeral, She lashed her anger on Kanao for trying to have one of Kanae's butterfly hairclips. In which she felt really scared of her. She was 7, 1 year older then the twins and Shinobu lashed it at her out of rage. Only for The Medical leader\Kanae's cultivator to stop Shinobu from this behaviour while Kanao was receiving comfort from Aoi.

Some time later on, she became a pillar at age 19, as i reached 22. And she changed, dramatically. She's wearing a purple butterfly Haori, matching her hairclip and her smile, at first i thought she's willing to smile to be cheerful. But no, she's smiling for her sister's sake, and it's completely fake. Worse yet, she seems very pale. According to Tengen, her heartbeat is spiking out of anger and rage, which makes sense to see vein marks appearing. For a while lately, she's been pestering me constantly, and it's making me feel uncomfortable to see how she's acting like Kanae. And all i do is ignore her, but that doesn't stop there considering she's been saying such hurtful things to me, that nobody likes me, i have no friends and I'll always be a loner.

She didn't change at all, her anger that i see from her pale face, she sure is lashing her anger out of me while putting up this fake Smile. She sure hates me, blaming me for her sister's death. Although, she seems to get along slowly with Kanao and Aoi, I tried to get along as well but she continued to say hurtful things to me. "Ara Ara, you decided to talk now? This is why nobody likes you." This is how it goes, she clearly hates me, it's how i see it, as such. I couldn't do this anymore, i felt like I was in Kanae's shoes at this point. She seems so biased as far as I've seen it, Sooner after Kanae's cultivator passed away while i reached age 27. She died from her fever, which had Aoi And Kanao were left in Shinobu's care who's now in the ownership of the butterfly mansion.

Therefore, i very much gave up on trying to get along with her and decided to ignore her completely. My life as a pillar slowly falls apart due to Shinobu, Shinazugawa and Iguro berating me constantly. In time, there's a chance the secret will be spilled like tea, and who knows what will happen.

End of Giyu POV

Now in present time.

A few days later Giyu in the headquarters along with the Pillars, witnessing the master's arrival. They all kneel as Sanemi was about to speak but Giyu spoke to soon. "Good afternoon Oyakata-sama, it's good to see you in good condition." Sanemi flinched and glaring at him in hatred. Same goes for Obanai who has a deep hatred to Giyu. "That's nice to hear Giyu, onto the meeting the population of demons seemed natural at most. I'm sending each of you to your destination to where you must find where demons where last spotted. Your crows shall guide you to them." As the meeting ended, Giyu stood up as he says "Well, i better get going to my mission." "Excuse me, are seriously leaving this fast?" Asked Sanemi and Giyu says "The faster i go, the more lives I'll be able to save." As he leaves, while Sanemi flinched in anger as "that bastard, who does he think he is?" "Enough Shinazugawa, he's on his duty. You better respect it." Says Gyomei as Sanemi flinched. Obanai simply disgusted and annoyed by Giyu, simply his literal existence.

Sooner or later Giyu was on his way to save a Boy, Tanjiro from a demon who turned out to be his sister, Nezuko. He saw how she started crying and no longer attacking him as she was sitting down as she is constantly crying, but to Giyu's assumption, She's playing tricks with him and goes off in slaying her, but tanjiro pulled out a blade and deflected Giyu's blade and to Giyu's surprise, both swords clashes with each other as Tanjiro pulled Nezuko out and dashed off with her. Giyu faced them and saw him protecting the demon. "What do you think you're doing?" "Protecting my sister, What do you think?" Asked Tanjiro and Giyu asked "Isn't she a demon? who harmed a family?" "It wasn't her, It was someone else who killed our family! There was another scent. Some else did this to my family and turned her into this." Yelled Tanjiro and Giyu then went 'Dead Calm' he simply dashed to him and snatched Nezuko as Tanjiro was caught off guard, "Hey!" replied "Boy, I'm afraid you're sister can't live, she must be decapitated." "She won't attack humans, she's different!" Tanjiro yelled and Giyu calm fully replied "Wasn't she attacking you earlier?" "She was, but i managed to stop her...Look at her! Didn't you notice the tears in her eyes, she's not even moving in a berserkful behaviour." Tanjiro's response led Giyu to see her Carefully and replied "How do you know she isn't playing games with you? what do you think you're going to do if I spare her?" "I'll find the Cure! Make sure she's human!" Tanjiro yelled and to Giyu's calm response "She can't be cured." "Like I said, I'll find it. You demon slayers have no knowledge of demon biology entirely, which is why there isn't one yet." Tanjiro yelled in a fearful tone, leaving Giyu to clench his teeth and yelled "How do you even know if the Demons will respect your wishes?!" "Not unless i fight and make them talk!! Even if it means, Pulling information out of their mouth!" Yelled Tanjiro as he throws a rock in speed, Giyu deflects it with his sword handle but felt a blow as Tanjiro showed up from an after-image to his left, Kicking him off, making Nezuko to be released from Giyu's hands, Giyu was caught off guard 'What the, he threw a rock to distract me from creating an after-image effect.' "Hinokami Kagura..." Tanjiro dashed to him as he's on his stance "...Dance." going off with fire coming out of his sword, slashing Giyu with his blade, and Giyu Casually deflects it as he seemed surprised 'is that a breathing technique? I've never seen such a technique like this. I doubt a random family would make this, not to mention. The sounds of both blades clashing... he's wielding a Nichirin blade, not an ordinary sword. This kid has potential.' Giyu deflects it and immediately Hit Tanjiro's back shoulder with the bottom on his sword handle, making him lose consciousness. As he falls to the ground with the blade, Giyu saw the Kanji of Tanjiro's blade written "Destruction." 'This kid is talented...wait.' Giyu was caught off guard to see Nezuko Kicking him off, Giyu gets pushed further away but lands to the ground and immediately witnessed Nezuko Infront of Tanjiro, protecting him in defence mode. Giyu's eyes widened in shock, 'No way! It's...' Nezuko was protecting Tanjiro but panting as she slowly fainted out of hunger until she fell to the ground and fell asleep. Giyu was left in shock, 'Different, the same words i hear multiple times from many relative based missions, and none were able to face the truth, but this...So she wasn't crying out of way to decieve him, she was crying out of pain caused by cruelty itself. She wasn't even trembling in berserk behaviour as he stated, and i can clearly agree in the first place to witness it. Despite the boy bleeding from the fall he took earlier, The girl still protected him. She's definitely different.' Giyu slowly walks to the siblings he was surprised 'These siblings are something, they have the courage to protect eachother. I wonder...'

A few minutes later, as Tanjiro woke up to see Nezuko having a bamboo muzzle on her mouth. "Good, you are awake." Tanjiro grabbed his sword and aimed at him while protecting Nezuko as Giyu says "Your sister managed to surprise me. She protected you, I can't say if the demons will respect your wishes, but I can't stop you from trying." Tanjiro puts his blade down as Giyu says "Make your way to mount Sagiri, There you will find Urokodaki Sakonji. Let him know Tomioka Giyu sent you. And to keep this in mind. Don't let your sister stand in sunlight." Giyu vanished as Tanjiro was left in surprise, As he proceeded to do what he has to do.

As a day passed, With Giyu reporting to Kagaya about what happened in the mission and Kagaya says "I see, a demon was able break free from Kibutsuji Muzan's control. And you spared her life for what you saw in her." "Rest assured master, If the girl ever Devoured a human, she will be eliminated and i will gladly Commit seppeku, same goes for the boy." Says Giyu as Kagaya smiles and responded "this consequence you are willing to accept, I will allow it. As such, Once The boy becomes a demon slayer, I shall summon a trial for a full on test for a bare witness to see if she's worthy of joining us or not." Giyu bows to Kagaya and replies "Thank you Oyakata-sama, i will make sure of it. And with my request, you might need to summon the pillars right after the siblings are escorted to your presence and for you to make sure they don't jump into action." Kagaya replied "I'll see to it, Kanae would be proud."

Soon after the audience between them, The Tomioka Family in the estate, started having dinner as "Hehhh? You found it? Unintentionally?" Asked Yumi while Giichi was silent and Giyu replied "Yes, i wonder how that'll turn out?" "To-san, have you considered testing it?" Asked Yumi and Giyu says "Urokodaki-san is on it right now, he's watching over her and the brother." The twins faced to each other as Giichi says "I hope you inform Oyakata-sama about this, he must understand it." "I've done that already, and he accepted my decision to see what would happen if a demon joins us." Says Giyu and Giichi replied "this will be alot."
