He gasped in utter shock to find what he saw, A demon alongside 4 dead bodies, The demon then rushes to Tanjiro but he takes a few steps back as he Unsheaths his family sword and Slashes the Demon, leaving it to be decapitated. Tanjiro saw how the demon is disintegrating as for Nezuko, she saw how the bodies are there and her mouth is dripping in Silvia, eyes are shaking but she ends up snapping into reality as she rushes to the Demon's head and crushes it with her leg, making it disintegrate completely as for a whole dent being caused from the crush kick.

Nezuko then rushed back in the temple as Tanjiro saw how she's hiding In a shade, the sun was coming in which Tanjiro noticed now why. He puts her in a basket as he then noticed that the bodies are missing. He follows the trail to see it's Urokodaki Sakonji who he buried the bodies and was praying "I Am Urokodaki Sakonji, You must be the one Tomioka Giyu spoke about." "Yes, It's Kamado Tanjiro, the one with me is my sister, Kamado Nezuko." Says Tanjiro as Sakonji faces to him and asked "Tanjiro, what's going to happen if your sister devours a human?" Tanjiro's eyes opened wide while he clenches his fist, facing downwards as he says "Kill her, and then Kill myself as a consequence to pay." Sakonji could smell fear and anger as He says "So you are aware of demons and among other things. As for your breathing technique and the sword. Where did you come upon those?" "These have been in my family for generations, since the Sengoku era." Tanjiro answered as Sakonji then replied "I see, well then. "Ice breathing, 5th form..." He goes off going for multiple consecutive slashes to Yumi "... Striking Tide." dodges and defects at the same time "..Blinding blizzard." She dashes off and vanishes leaving Giichi to be disoriented like he's in a icy fog, "ice Breathing, 1st form.." Giichi sensed her coming as "Water Breathing, 2nd form..." 1 week later as Both twins get prepared to leave for the selection exam, as they left off while Giyu is watching them leave, he feels scared as he makes his way inside and starts praying for his kids to return safely.

Both Twins made their way to the Candidate section as they saw so many of them, "oh it's Kanao there." Says Giichi as he Spots her, Yumi runs to her while she says "Kanao." Kanao faced her as she says "Good to see you, i didn't know you're here to attend. Ready to go through the test?" She asked and Kanao nodded. Meanwhile Yumi ran to Kanao, Giichi saw Tanjiro with his green Checkered Haori, coming through, Giichi saw a talisman mask on his head as he noticed it's him. "So, you must the one Tomioka Giyu spoke about, are you?" "Oh yeah, you know me?" Asked Tanjiro "My name is Tomioka Giichi, You were the one my father spoke about." Says Giichi, as Tanjiro realised as he says "oh yeah, Nice to meet you. Kamado Tanjiro it is." As he bowed to him and Giichi went, "No need to bow, I'm all good." "Oh yeah, Of course."

As the selection exam starts with Tanjiro and Giichi accompanying eachother until 3 demons shows up, "Hinokami Kagura, Raging Sun." Tanjiro slashes the demons down in 3 strikes as they're head falls off and dies. While 4 more demons show up while Giichi goes on his move, "Water breathing, 3rd form.." Giichi beheading the demons and slaying them as they dies ".. flowing Dance." Until they both saw a large mutating Demon, about to swallow a candidate in, until "Hinokami Kagura.." Tanjiro Dashes to it as saves the Candidate from getting killed "..Fire Wheel." Giichi showed up with Tanjiro as he says "What kind of demon is this?" "Ohh, another beautiful fox." Says the Hand demon "...Hey fox, What year of the Edo era is?" "Edo?" Asked Giichi and Tanjiro replied "...It's...the Taisho era."

"Taisho? Era?...ERA!?" The demon starts raging and scratching itself. "It's Already a New Era?! I've been trapped in this prison for this long? Urokodaki, Urokodaki Urokodaki!!!" Giichi, Tanjiro and the candidate who was rescued, their eyes were shaking in confusion as Giichi asked "How do you know about Urokodaki? What's your deal with him?" "That's because He was the one who trapped me in this prison while he was being a demon slayer in the menji era." Says the Hand demon, "Menji?" Asked Tanjiro and the Candidate says "That's impossible! Demons with only 2 or 3 kill counts gets trapped in there while they eventually die from a human's blade." "That's because I've able to eat almost 50 of you brats and I'm still here." Says the demon and "50?" Asked Tanjiro and the demon counting down his fingers "12, 13, 14, that makes you 15!" He says it while he pointed at Tanjiro, he laughs and Giichi was getting annoyed and Tanjiro asked "What are you on about?" "These are the number of students of Urokodaki I've devoured, *Chuckled*" Tanjiro and Giichi gasped, but Giichi's eyes shrank into dots. "I've promised myself that I'd eat every student of his for trapping me in this prison, Every talisman mask they wore are signs for me to know that their his students, Same goes for your mask...I remember 2 of his students who almost got me, a girl with a flower kimono, and a boy with Peachy hair color" "Sabito? Makomo?." Whispers Tanjiro, while Giichi was trembling in shock, he remembers how his father told him about his old friend who died in the selection exam. Tanjiro gets angry as he rushed to the demon and started fighting, while Giichi was standing still, Tearing out of what he heard. Tanjiro was thrown off to a tree, as his mask broke and his forehead starts bleeding, but still conscious, "You're just going to stand there?" Asked the demon as Giichi stares at him in Cold look and tone "You just made a big mistake bringing up Urokodaki's students Infront of one of His student's child." "Oh? So one of his students survived and has a child, how NICE!" Yelled the demon as Giichi says "Water breathing, 11th form..." '11th?' thought the demon as until "...Dead Calm." many limbs of the demon were sliced off in blinding speeds like a drop of water, dripped to the calm surface of water. Tanjiro jumped and dashed to the demon and "Hinokami Kagura!..." As he sliced the demons head of full clean of burning fire coming out of his sword as a ring of fire spinning around like Saturn ring. "... Lateral Fire Wheel." The demon starts screaming as it desinigrated.

Tanjiro saw them sheathed his sword in as he saw Giichi standing still as Tanjiro runs to him "Giichi, are you okay?" "Let's go." Says Giichi as both rushed off and left.

Meanwhile with Kanao and Yumi off slaying demons who are rushing to them. 4 demons shows up as Yumi rushed off "Ice breathing, 1st form..." Yumi's sword having frosty trail of snowflakes being flown out of it. As she slashed and beheads the demons."...Frozen sword slash." As the demons vanished to dust, as 5 more demons appeared as Kanao rushed to them "Flower breathing, 3rd form..." She dashed around and beheaded many demons within speed, as they all disintegrated "...Scattering Vines." 6 more demons appeared as Yumi rushed to them "Ice breathing, 4th form..." She dashed around without making any sound as she sliced there head off as fast as she can. "...Frozen feather dance." As both continued there way.

7 people are at the end of the candidate section as the twins meet up again, "Nii-chan, you passed!" Yumi ran to him and hugged him as Kanao followed "So did you." Says Giichi "oh and who's that with you?" She asked as she pointed at Giichi. "Oh that's Kamado Tanjiro, the one To-san told us about." "Oh? I see. I thought you were making a friend." Asked Yumi and Giichi crossing his arms "we just became friends within this whole exam, so... Tanjiro, meet my sister. Tomioka Yumi, and our sister-in-arms. Tsuyuri Kanao." Yumi waved and Kanao simply said nothing.

Until a while later, as everyone is leaving and Giichi said "Yumi, I'm going with Tanjiro so i can bring him and his sister for the trail. You inform Oto-san that'll I'll keep an eye on him till it starts." Yumi simply agreed as Kanao and Yumi leaves as for Giichi and Tanjiro leaves off, in separate ways. As time passes on, Giichi and Tanjiro in mount Sagiri, as they saw Sakonji's shack until they saw a door being pushed out of the house. Tanjiro saw how Nezuko is walking out of the shack, "Nezuko, you...you are awake!" Nezuko runs to him as Giichi saw how both siblings hugged eachother, Giichi was quite surprised to see the friendly demon. Tanjiro was crying as he saw how Sakonji comes in and crying for them, as he hugs them. Giichi gives them time as he says "good to see you Urokodaki-san." "Giichi, you made it as well, where's your sister?" Sakonji asked and Giichi replied "she's at home, she also passed the exam."

Meanwhile with Giyu, He saw Yumi and Kanao as Yumi "To-san." She ran to him as they hugged each other. Giyu cried silently in relief as well as Yumi tearing out slightly. Giyu then asked "Wait, Where's Giichi." He asked in a heart attack as Yumi says "He's with the boy with the demon sister, Accompanying him for the trial to bring him." Giyu sighed in relief as he said "Oh, thank goodness." Giyu then faced Kanao "are you hurt?" Kanao shook her head, saying 'no' in response as Giyu caresses her head and says "Good to know, and keep the Discussion about the demon sister to yourself, will you? Kanae's dream came true." Kanao nodded as Giyu says "oh, wait here. I have something for you." He went inside as Kanao and Yumi faced to eachother in confusion, with Giyu coming out as he showed Kanao, which made her shocked, Giyu has Kanae's Butterfly Haori this whole time and he's handing it to Kanao. She simply hesitated and takes it as she says "Kanae-sensei..." "It's yours now, You deserve it." Says Giyu as Kanao rushed to Giyu in a hug, Giyu smiled as he caresses her head. As the hug breaks Giyu says "Now go, Aoi and the Caterpillars are waiting for you." Kanao bowed as she ran off.
