5 days after the trial,
Tomioka Giichi, outside the Waterfall estate as he saw a Swordsmith carrying a long bag, "I'm Kanamori, I've brought Swords for Tomioka Giichi and Yumi." "Yes!" Giichi bowed to him "it's I, Tomioka Giichi. Come in." As Kanamori in the guest room with the twins and Tanjiro "You may Unsheath your sword, they change color depending on the person." Says Kanamori as Giichi unsheathed his as it turned Ocean blue, as for Yumi unsheathed her's, it turned Ice blue. "Ohh, nice." "Colour changing? How did i forgot about it?" Says Tanjiro as he Unsheaths his family sword as his sword turned black, till it eventually turned red and it's burning pure fire, The rest were surprised as Kanamori "A red blade? How come you didn't check it?" "This kid has this sword, passed down to his family since the Sengoku era." Says Giichi and Kanamori was surprised and says "oh, it that so? Swords from that era has good quality." "A burning sword is something." Says Yumi, "same goes for your freezing sword." Says Giichi. "Caw! Kamado Tanjiro here's your mission..." "Tomioka Giichi, here are your mission assignments..." "Caww! Tomioka Yumi, your mission assignments are here."
The three left on their separate ways, Yumi in her uniform, blue like Aoi's but her skirt matching Kanao's skirt size, Black raven Haori, and she wears long black socks and sandals. She is now on her way to her mission, while Giyu saw how they are leaving to their mission. He very much desperately prays for their safety as they continued on.
Meanwhile in the Butterfly mansion, Kanao in her Demon slayer uniform, getting ready for her mission, she sees Kanae's Hoari as she starts wearing it. She feels so comfortable with it, she's about to leave for the mission, until "Kanao?" Kanao looked at Shinobu who she seems shocked, to See her having Kanae's Haori, her eyes were trembling as she asked "Where did you Get this." She asked in such a tone, in which Kanao noticed she's about to yell. Kanao was beginning to shake as she holds on to the haori, Shinobu noticed her shaking as Knew she can't yell at her. She simply sighs and says "fine...You can keep it. Not like you'll answer me anyway." Until Kanao pulls Shinobu to a hug, she simply hugs her back and then lets go. As Kanao leaves for the mission and Shinobu was a bit confused, and wanted to know how she Got Kanae's Haori, she was searching for it to where Kanae had her last fight. 'I was searching for the Haori since Nee-san was Devoured, How did she get it? I'll have to wait, till she wakes decisions on her own again. But when it comes to Nee-san, she doesn't use the coin. Something isn't right about Kanao, same goes for Aoi.'
Giichi is off on his rather 3rd mission after receiving his ocean blue sword, His dark blue uniform, black Raven Haori and after first 2 missions. 4 days later, as he slayed the demons, till he saw someone fighting demons using a medium sized sword and a shotgun, 4 demons were close to getting Genya, only for Giichi to show up and slice their heads off as they disintegrated. "You okay?" Giichi asked "Heh? What do you think you're doing?! I didn't ask for help!" Says the slayer who has mohawk hair style. "That's true, but i can't just sit here and watch a slayer fighting demons alone. Can i?" Says Giichi and the Mohawk hair says "This mission is mine!" "As was mine, since i was instructed to be here." Says Giichi. The sun rose as a Crow flies "Caw! Caw! Giichi! Genya! Make your way to northwest." Says a Crow and Genya "Well, guess we better get going." Says Giichi as he starts walking and Genya comes along, yelled "There's no 'We' in this!!" "Since we both were assigned on this mission, it's very much a we at this point." Says Giichi in his calm and soft tone, "Genya is it? Name's Tomioka Giichi. Nice to meet you." "It's Shinazugawa to you!!" Yelled Genya and Giichi faces him and said "Oh, I'm sorry, i'm afraid that's not possible. I refuse to utter a name of a certain someone who hates and Badmouths my father for questionable reasons. Hands down." Genya flinched and clenches his fists. "Who are you referring to?" He asked and Giichi continued his way, without even looking at him "The wind pillar." "Heh? That's my brother! You better respect me for that?" Says Genya and Giichi replied "My father's a pillar as well. So I guess we're both even."
As both made their way to the location, as it's night time "it's a mountain, let's split up and see what we can do." Says Giichi and Genya goes off on his own "Don't tell me what to do!" Giichi was off as he encountered 4 demons "ohh delicious food!" They charged towards Giichi until 'Water breathing, 4th form...' Giichi Slashes and beheads the demons, leaving them to disintegrat to ash. 'Striking Tide' Giichi sensed some demons as he followed the trail, he could see Genya shooting demons off, until he saw Genya eating demon flesh. Genya ate it as he ended up dashing in speed and sliced, shoots the demons head off till they all disintegrated till ash. Genya then faced to Giichi who was nothing but confused and asked "what did i just watch?" "That's none of your business!" Yelling Genya and Giichi replied "you were eating a demon, isn't that cannibalism?"
Hours passed Both on their other mission "Seems like we're going to another mission together, we better train harder after that" Says Giichi and Genya scoffed as he says "Shut up..." "There's a chance we might bump into a demonic moon, stay on guard." Giichi continues to talk. "Don't think of getting in the way when fighting a kizuki! I'll become a pillar before you!" Yelled Genya and Giichi replied "Even if I reached the requirements, I'll still remain a Tsugoku, since my father's still a pillar." "Heh? Since when are you a Tsugoku!?" Asked Genya and Giichi replied, "My father's a pillar, it's simple enough. Of course, I never heard about a breathless Pillar. Much less eating demons." Says Giichi and Genya says "Quit with the chatter! Stop acting like we're friends!" "Aren't we talking like we are?" Giichi asked and Genya flinched until, he saw Yumi coming as well. "Nii-chan, you're here. How'd the missions go?" "Seems okay, besides me witnessing This one called Shinazugawa Genya using a Gun, and eating demons." Yumi was left in silence, Genya asked "Twins huh? How am I not surprised?" "We just met, so. It's never surprising in any way." Says Giichi "tch, just don't get in my way!" Yelling Genya
As the three made their way to a Temple as Giichi says "according to report, there are quite the many demons there." Both twins Unsheaths their swords. With Genya having his mid size sword and a shotgun, a demon on its way to clawslash Genya but to Genya's surprised, Yumi sliced it's arms off as Genya immediately shoots it's head off, 2 more demons shows up as Giichi sliced their heads off till they fade away, a large demon as big as Gyomei with metal sickles as it comes to slash them, Genya shoots it but the medal sickle deflected it. "Water Breathing, 4th form..." Giichi slices down the demons arms, legs and head off as it disintegrates to ashes. "Striking tide." "Mission, Complete." Says Yumi. Genya then replied, "that was fast then i thought... pesky demons."
Meanwhile with Tanjiro, who he's exiting a haunted mansion while escorting Children outside, until he Saw Zenitsu protecting Nezuko from Inosuke, "Get out of my way!" "You! Stay away from that!" Tanjiro yelled as he grabs Inosuke, spins himself along with him and throws him off. "What do you think you are doing, aren't you a Demon slayer corps member? Drawing a Nichirin blade on a human as a serious Taboo." Yelled Tanjiro as Inosuke dropped his swords as he laughed "hehehe, is that so? Sorry about that. I'll do it with my fists then!" He says as he and Tanjiro starts fighting, Inosuke going into his flexibility skills and ways like a wild animal, Tanjiro Grabs the boar head, and pushed Inosuke off, removing the mask. Zenitsu then screamed "Heeehhh? Is that what you look like?" "What did you say? Do you have an opinion with my face?" He says it as he smiles "there isn't anything wrong with it." Says Tanjiro, "infact this makes you attractive." He says it as he throws the mask back to him, in which he catches it and wears it. "No one has ever thrown me like that, you managed to do that twice...I'll Give you my name. Hashibira Inosuke, The King of the Mountains." Tanjiro says as he puts his hand on his chest and says "Well I'm Kamado Tanjiro, The Child of Fire God." Zenitsu Cringing of what he's witnessing 'Tf are these titles, are they having the same braincells' "it was a good fight. Inosuke. But I think it's best to save it until we get into training, we are in middle of a duty." Says Tanjiro and Inosuke says "heh? I'm not saving it for later! Fight me now!" "Fine then..." Tanjiro then dashes to Inosuke, comes to him from behind, Inosuke was caught off guard as Tanjiro neckchopps him down.
Meanwhile back with the twins, They're almost at their districts until a restaurant is nearby. "Let's just eat something before we get another assignment." Says Yumi as Giichi replied, "Don't see why not." "Tch, I'm already hungry so let's get this over with." Says Genya while he feels annoyed. The Twins and Genya entered as they take a seat on a table, the twins sitting next to each other and Genya in front of them, as the cashier comes by and asked "What can i get for you three?" "Soba noodles." Says Genya, "crispy Tempura." Replied Giichi and as for Yumi "Daikon and salmon." "Right away." Says the cashier as Yumi says "well, finally...that was one heck if a mission." "Imagine sending one Tsuchinoe and 2 Mizunoto tank slayers into a temple full of at least a less amount of demons there." Says Giichi as Genya then replied "No shit about you both are Tsugokus at this point." "Ara Ara, seems like Nii-chan is having such a nice friend." Replied Yumi while cheering up for Giichi while she books her hands, and He Casually replied "We're friends alright." Genya in his short tempered state looking towards Giichi, "Heh? Where did you get the idea of us being friends?! Is the screws in your mind gotten loose?" He asked and Giichi says "We went on missions together, cooperative with eachother and finished our mission without any injuries." "Don't give me that crap! We just met, doesn't mean we are friends." Says Genya. "You both talk like friends, so it's not surprising." Yumi said as she crossed her arms and tilted her head "But I'm sure it'll work out."
"Order up, and you...please refrain from raising your tone please." Says the cashier while he looked to Genya, he nodded as he calmed down. He looked at Yumi as he said "I don't want to pry into your life, considering that the pillar of water is your father, so i better ask. Why do you look like the former flower pillar?" The question left the twins in silence as they stopped eating. Giichi swallowed his foot slowly as he answered "It's complicated, don't we don't know how to answer it." Genya sighed as he guessed "Let me guess, the one Called Kocho Kanae was your mother, is she?" Yumi sighed and said "yeah, she's our mother alright, and we only know your name from her. She spoke highly of you when she was talking to my father about it. Just, don't tell your brother or any other pillars about our existence." "I won't... it's none of my business anyway...Your mother used to lecture me a lot because of me eating demons, since my body has been getting butchered over and over. And now it's switched to Your mother's sister...Your Aunt." Says Genya as he is calming down as Giichi, he replied, "Shinobu is no aunt of ours nor our Oka-san's sister, she's already gone the moment my mother lost her parents." Genya got confused and asked "what do you mean?" "Our mother was having a hard time dealing with Shinobu from being blood thirsty, ruthless and very rude to others. She used to lash her anger at others without a second thought. Until she called my mother a mistake, on her face. It made her give up on her, and declared her cheerful little sister, dead as soon as her parents died." Replied Yumi as she is eating. Genya seemed to hold on to his chest where his heart is and says "Sounds familiar... your parents were dating in secret, Were they?" "Yes, she kept it because of Shinobu's unsupportive behaviour." Says Giichi and as for Yumi saying "Nii-chan, what's going to happen if Shinobu finds out about our existence." "Not like Oto-san and i would care if our secret is coming out since we're slayers now." Says Giichi.
"Sounds reasonable enough to hide everything in the first place, As for my brother, i think I have an idea about why he hates your father." Says Genya and Yumi and Giichi faces each other in wonder as Giichi recieved more tempura. "My brother might have a large crush on Your mother, so it's probably the case there... it's no secret that both your parents were known as mission partners. I heard how My brother asked to accompany her on a mission and she simply chose your father over him for the mission." Genya says it as Yumi asked while she raised her eyebrow "where did you heard it from?" "Himejima Gyomei. He told me he seems to like your mother, to think that he's suddenly soft towards her and harsh to others, much less harassing them. I guess it's obvious enough." Replied by Genya as he finishes his soba noodles, Yumi finishes her Daikon and salmon, she seems to get a little mad and says "All this ruckus, being caused out of jealousy? He hates my father for his Calm personality and his jealousy when it comes to my mother? I swear to god i feel like..." "Yumi, don't even think about revenge on such stupid reasons. Oka-san won't approve of this." Says Giichi and Yumi calmed down since she doesn't want to risk being hot tempered. The three finished the food as Genya says "I won't tell my brother anything about you. It's no business of his either." "Thanks Genya." Says Giichi. "Caw! Mission for the twins, make your way to Mount Natagumo. Caw!" Says a crow.
"Guess we'll part ways here, Catch you later." Says Giichi as Genya nodded, with the twins paying for their food as they left.
