Chapter 9: Good night!

11:15 pm

After watching the film Hilda asked:

"So, did you like it?"

"Very very much!" Was Kay's reply.

"Really exciting!" El supported he.

The other guests were also enthusiastic.

"Now, with your permission, I would like to retire." Himmler said, rising to her feet.

"Me too ..." Eva said, then yawned.

"In fact we should all retire ... It's very late." Sheska support her, looking at her watch.

"Sorry, what about us? Where do we spend the night? " El asked, perplexed.

"Here." The landlady answered her.

That answer surprised both the foreigners as much as her subordinates.

"Here? So will we be your guests? " Kay asked her.

"Exact. At least temporarily, while waiting to find accommodation. "

"Are you sure, mein führer?"

"Very sure, Himmler. Any objections? "

"None…"

As she said this she shot a worried look at Göring, who, catching up on the message, said:

"In that case, mein führer, I would like to stay here ... At least for tonight."

"I have nothing against it. But here I only have two beds: mine and those for guests. "

"I'll sleep on the sofa if necessary."

She doesn't trust us. She fears we can play some bad tricks on her commander.

Kay thought.

"Let's do like this. Kay and I will sleep in my room, you and El will sleep in the guest room."

"It's OK for me."

El swallowed.

So they will be able to monitor us better ...

She thought.

"Tomorrow I will show you the house well, so that you can orient yourself." Hilda said.

"Wouldn't it be better to do it now?"

"No, Kay ... It's already late, and I'm falling asleep."

She yawned.

"Strange, you usually stay up until midnight, if not three." Himmler stated.

As her reaction, Hilda shot her a dirty look.

"What do you care about my hours?" She asked, threateningly.

"Forgive my inconvenient question..." The bespectacled girl, looking down.

"Could we at least have a couple of pajamas?" El asked.

"I keep them in my room ... Wait, I'll go get them."

Having said this, Hilda got up and left the room.

Kay snorted.

"Sure, it's really hospitable."

"Yes, with whoever proves to be worthy of her trust. And few are those who earn it. " Göring said.

"And you have earned it?"

"We have known each other since the first school year. We are very close friends. It was she who gave us the nicknames. " Was Himmler's reply.

"And it was always she who convinced us to join the Panzerfahren team." Göring added.

"She is like a sister to us." Eva said.

"I understand ... I hope that one day you will come to appreciate us as much as you do."

"If you run straight and don't create problems, that day will come soon." She assured her the bespectacled girl.

"By saving my life you have already earned her gratitude and sympathy. If you play good girls, you will earn not only her trust, but everyone's trust here in the Black Sun."

At that moment Hilda arrived, who was no longer wearing a uniform but a light blue pajama with a red rectangle on the shirt with a stylized white dolphin in the center.

"Here you go. Göring, I got one for you too. "

And having said that she gave the three girls three pajamas: one blue for Kay, one white for El and one red for Göring.

"Danke, mein führer." I thank the latter.

She smiled.

"You can also call me Hilda, when I'm not in uniform." She said she.

"Danke, Hilda."

"We are grateful to you." Kay said cheerfully.

"Gracias!" El said, also in a good mood.

"I always offer the best to my guests, especially if they have saved the life of a very dear friend." Was her reply.

When Himmler, Eva and Sheska had taken their leave, Hilda accompanied Kay to their (for the moment) bedroom, located on the top floor. When she set foot she looked around: the room was furnished with two bedside tables, a dresser, a chair in one corner, a three-door wardrobe and, what surprised her, a double bed.

"It is more spacious and comfortable." Hilda explained to her, noticing her expression.

"I understand ..." Kay said.

She took off her Saunders school uniform, which she put on the chair, put on her pajamas, and went to bed, closely followed by the mistress of what.

"Gute Nacht!" Hilda wished her, then turned off the light.

Downstairs, in the guest room, Göring had just finished putting on her pajamas, while El, already dressed for the night, looked at her slightly intimidated. Her size intimidated her. At one point the stocky girl turned in her direction and, noticing her gaze, asked her:

"What do you have to look at?"

"It bothers you?" She asked her in turn.

"You make me nervous!"

More and more intimidated, El looked down.

"Excuse me ..." She said, and then went to bed.

Göring from the sang of her felt guilty about her surly attitude.

This girl saved Eva's life, you should show her respect for her!

A part of her conscience said.

But she also smuggled herself aboard our school, telling a absurd story on the other hand! Or do you want to tell me that you really believe she comes from the future?

The other part asked.

In fact it is true ... The story she told us is absurd. In any case, it is up to the Gestapo to find out the truth.

"You do not sleep?" El asked to her, seeing her still standing in front of her bed.

"Yup." She replied, lying down beside her, under her sheets and blankets.

Having done this, she turned off the light.
