Chapter 11: And the day came, part 1

March 21, 8:30 am

When Kay woke up she noticed that she was alone in her bed. There was no trace of Hilda.

Where is she going to be?

She wondered, worried.

She went downstairs to find Hilda, Göring and El in the dining room, having breakfast. Next to them stood last night's butler and a couple of maids. On the table, in front of each of the girls, were cups of hot chocolate and bags of Choco Leibniz cookies (certainly a German brand).

She thanked her with a nod, sitting down and starting to eat with the others. When they were done, Hilda asked her:

"Did you sleep well?"
