"It's quite simple to understand," Donnie explained, using some donuts and a large grapefruit on the table. They were set in order like the planets and sun. Everyone gathered around, listening. Mona was holding Elizabeth in her arms as the baby tried to reach for one of the donuts. "The longitudinal span of the other eight planets, moon and the sun, culminate within a geocentric sector of 14 degrees to perform a grand planetary alignment with Earth. Say this grapefruit is the sun, right? And the Earth is the third donut from the-" However, he paused when he sees that the Earth was gone and there were crumbs left in it's place, instead.

"Hey! What happened to Earth?!"

Loud chewing sounds made everyone look to see Mikey chomping down on the donut.

"What?" he asked, in a muffled voice.

"Shell for brains," Raph commented, hitting him on his arm, making Mikey spit out crumbs. Elizabeth laughed.

"But, Don," Leo spoke. "none of this should have an effect on the Earth, right?"

"Astronomically speaking, the planets are just too far apart to exhibit any additional gravitational pull," as soon as Donnie finished, the entire lair began to shake violently. However, just as it started the quake suddenly stopped.

"And that was just an random earthquake, right?" Mikey asked, nervously. The lair began to shake again, making everyone fall to the floor. "Right?"

Elizabeth began to cry while Mona tried to console her, bouncing her in her arms.

"You two, okay?" Raph asked.

"We're fine," Mona answered. Raph reached out and cupped Elizabeth's cheek and she stopped crying. The baby cooed as she reached out for Raph. He took her from Mona, holding her, rocking her gently until soon Elizabeth was fast asleep.

Leo sees the remote next to him and picked it up. "Maybe there's something in the news about it," he said, turning the TV on.

"A live feed from the university's seismograph rating in at 7.8 on the Richter scale. Closest estimates puts the epicenter thousand miles south of Greenland. Scientist believe that with the current shifting with tectonic plates, we may be witnessing the birth of an new island or even a subcontinent. With the displacement of water so massive, it's dangerously raising the sea level. Unstable temperatures have prompted violent thunderstorm, due to reach the East seaboard within an hour."

"It...doesn't make an sense," Donnie commented. "There must be something else at work here."

"I told you we should've listen to the guy carrying the 'the end is near' sign!" Mikey exclaimed.

"Including power outages-" The TV cuts off as the whole lair went completely dark.

"No way!" Mikey exclaimed.

"Aw, great," Raph complained.

"Think the whole city is out?" Leo questioned. Suddenly, a blue glow caught everyone's attention, that was coming from Donnie's lab. Donnie looked in confusion.

"Hey, guys, check it out," he called out. They walked into his lab to see that the underground crystals were glowing. "Impossible," Donnie picked it up. "this crystal was completely burned out."

"It's not now." Leo pointed out.

"It seems to be supercharged," Donnie explained.

"How?" Raph asked.

"I don't know," Donnie answered. "It might have something to do with the alignment or-" He glances over to see Mikey chewing on another donut.

"What?" the orange masked turtle asked, in defense. "It's Pluto. Who cares about Pluto?"

"Or it might have something to do with the crystal moon in the underground city." Donnie finished. The entire Lair began to shake again.

"We'd better check it out," Leo and Donnie, both said at the same time.

"I'm going to stay," Mona said. "I'm going to watch over Elizabeth."

"I'll help," Venus said.

Everyone was sitting inside of the Turtle Tunneler.

"And remember, Donnie, you promised I could drive," Mikey reminded.

"Alright," Donnie said, hesitantly. "just try not to grind the gears." Mikey cheered and started up the Tunneler, shifting the gear, but also grinding it as well as he drove. Everyone turned around, giving him a look.

"Sorry," Mikey replied, sheepishly.

"Okay," Donnie tells everyone, as they approached the tunnel. "I'd suggest everyone strap in. We dug out these tunnels already, remember?"

Mikey drives up to the tunnel, and the Tunneler went down it like a slide. Everyone screamed as it did, eventually, they make it to the underground city, jumping over a bridge. Donnie sees that they were heading to a cliff, realizing that there was lava below.

"Hit the brakes!" He yelled. "Hit the breaks!"

The Tunneler drove off the cliff diving straight into the lava. However, the Tunneler's heat resistant shield protected it and Mikey drove the Tunneler out of the lava. He shuts it down and everyone walked out, looking at the city.

"Um, what's wrong this picture?" Leo asked.

"Whoa," they commented, seeing that the city was now alive and strange looking people were riding around on scooters. High above the city, the Crystal Moon shined from the ceiling of the cavern.

"This sure ain't the way we left it," Raph said.

"Yeah, this joint is jumping," Mikey commented.

"It's as if the entire city has somehow come back to life," Leo spoke. Then everyone soon began to hear strange chanting not too far off. "And do you hear that? Some kind of chanting."

On a podium, strange men dressed in long robes were standing in front of a large crystal, that projected the Earth. They were chanting and beams of lights were coming out of their eyes as they did. One of them stops, the Sole Survivor, looks at the crystal that was hanging around his neck, seeing the turtles and girls. "So, they have returned."

"You think there's an connection between what's happening down here and what's going on up top and-" Raph murmured.

"Let's find out." Leo answered. The Sole Survivor reaches into his cape and pulled out four red crystals. He throws them and the crystals land near the lava. The lava began to consume the crystals.

Everyone was walking in the city. Donnie noticed someone, who was riding a scooter, coming close. "Uh, excuse me, could you tell us...hey!" They ignored him, riding past them, as if they weren't there.

"It's like they don't even see us," Raph commented.

"They see us, they just don't care," Leo replied. Mikey screamed as he saw lava began to phase through the walls. The lava started to form into four monsters.

"Well, looks like somebody cares!" Mikey exclaimed, as the lava monsters began to surround them.

The lava monsters began to advance towards them as they stepped back until everyone was back to back, completely surrounded. "What are those things?!" Leo asked.

"I dunno," Mikey replied in fear. "but from the looks of them, I'd say they're not the welcome wagon!"

"Any suggestions?" Donnie questioned.

"Yeah," Raph answered. "Let's kick the magma out of them!" Everyone rolled out of the way, getting into a fighting stance. Mikey runs away from one and it punched the ground, making the turtle jump up into the air. The monster looks up as Mikey spinned his nunchucks.

"Good one, Raph," Mikey retorted. "How do we fight monsters made out lava?!" He screamed as the monster tried to punch him again.

"Like this!" Raph grunted as he jumped away from a monster and throws his sai. The lava monster threw a fire ball. Raph quickly ducked as it hit the wall behind him. He looks down to see that his sai had melted.

"That thing slagged my blade!" he growled, angrily, dodging another fire ball, trying to charge at the monster. The others held him back.

"Raph, wait!" Leo warned. "Guys, we are not winning this one."

"So let's try a new plan," Mikey suggested. "One I like to call running for our lives!" They ran off, dodging the fire balls. Everyone came to a stop, cringing, seeing the lava monsters phasing through the walls again, right in front of them.

"Now what?" Raph asked, reluctantly.

"More running?" Mikey suggested, as they dodged another fire ball. As they ran, everyone saw a large crowd of the strange people standing in front of them. They started to advance slowly towards everyone and the group quickly turned left to a corner.

"Since when did we become so popular?" Donnie asked in shock. Everyone stopped as they saw the lava monsters phase through the walls again, trapping them.

"We're boxed in!" Raph shouted, as they look back to see the people heading towards them. The Sole Survivor held up a crystal, glowing as he did. An secret trap door opens underneath everyone and the fell in.

They fall into a dimly lit room landing on the floor. Leo sees a door in front.

"There's a door!" They ran up to it, only to be caged in by lasers.

"Yeah, a cell door," Donnie corrected.

"Not good, not good at all!" Mikey exclaimed.

"Let's make it good!" Leo shouted. He tried to cut through the lasers, only to be shocked and thrown back.

"Leo!" Yuuki shouted, running up to him, helping him up. Raph and Donnie ran over to them as well, helping him.

"And this is why I have to ask, why do we keep coming back down here?!" Mikey asked, annoyed. Then a door suddenly opens and everyone saw a shadowy figure approaching them, the Sole Survivor.

"I have asked myself that same question,"

"Oh, not this guy again!" Mikey whined.

"You should have not returned," the strange man, tells them.

"That's exactly what I've told them," Mikey spoke. "but would they listen? Nooo!"

"We wouldn't have come back down here," Donnie explained. "but whatever is powering up the crystals is wreaking havoc on our world." Raph growled, stepping up.

"I don't know what you're up to, but you better knock it off or I'll-!" the Sole Survivor pulls out his crystal, making ice as it lifted Raph, pulling him towards the lasers, pressing Raph's cheek on it. Raph screamed in pain.

"Raph!" Yuuki called out.

"Or you will what?" the Sole Survivor scoffed, dropping Raph, shaking his head. "Pathetic creatures. The only thing that I do not regret is bringing you to us, but this is far beyond your control." Leo held Raph, sitting him up. "After 10,000 years a new day is dawning for my people. The Y'Lynthian will rule once more."

"Your people?" Leo asked. "You told us that you were the sole survivor of your kind, that you are peace-loving. Why all the lies?"

"At the time, I had limited power," the Sole Survivor explained. "I needed your help to maintain the city, so I said what I had to."

"I don't understand," Donnie spoke. "What is it that you Y'Lynthians are trying to do?"

"Reshape the world," he told them. "the way it used to be." The man started to walk away.

"We won't stand by and let this happen!" Leo declared.

"It is already happening," the Sole Survivor answered, his eyes glowing blue. "There is nothing you can do. You shall be the first slaves of the new world order." He laughed evilly, leaving.

Raph tried to break through the wall, using a stake that he found in their cell. He had barely made a dent in it. "This is gonna take a month!" he exclaimed in frustration. The others were standing on each others shoulders trying to reach up to the trap door on the ceiling.

"No good," Donnie retorted. "It's too far up."

Suddenly, they see lava in front of them as it began to melt through the walls. "Now what?!" Mikey asked in fear. "More lava monsters?!"

Everyone braced themselves ready for a fight. However, as the wall melts forming a hole, a woman with blue hair and blue eyes appeared.

"Come with me if you want to live." she gestured, beckoning them to follow her.

"I wanna live," Mikey answered. "How 'bout you guys? You wanna live?'

"Anything's better than sitting locked up in here," Raph commented.

"I'd say that we go with her," Yuuki added.

"Let's go! But, be ready for anything!" Leo said. They ran out of the hole, following after the strange woman down the hallways.

"So, who are you?" Leo questioned the woman. "Why are you helping us?"

"Yeah, aren't you one of them?" Raph asked.

"All will be revealed," she told them. "follow me." Everyone continued to follow her. "My name is Versallia," the woman explained. "I am an Y'Lynthian, but I am not like the others," she stepped towards a door, holding her crystal. "We must stop them."

"Stop them?" Leo pondered. "But, we don't even know how they're doing what they're doing!" The doors open and it was a chamber.

"Then you will learn. Here, in the Chamber of Chronicles you will see the truth of the past." A screen appeared in front of everyone.

"I don't know, last movie we saw down here turned out to be a pack of lies," Mikey retorted.

"I don't know, Mikey," Yuuki said. "I have a feeling that we should trust her."

"Me too," Alopex agreed. "I mean, she did help us."

"Fine," Mikey sighed, his arms crossed. He turned to Versallia. "But you better not try any funny stuff!"

"Please, attend. We were of a different age. A long time ago, when Y'Lynthians held unassailable dominion over the Earth. We were the first, the chosen. The heavens bestowed upon us a power beyond imagining in the form of mighty crystals from the stars. The largest of these, the Sun crystal, came to rest upon Mount Emmaus, overlooking the entire continent. As a final gift from the heavens, the planets aligned and empowered our Sun crystal, charging it with unbelievable energy.

Crystal energy, which we harnessed, to build the largest, most splendid civilization on Earth. But, we Y'Lynthians have advanced so far so fast, we began to believe ourselves superior to all others. We enslaved many innocent humans and when they could not perform the jobs, we imposed upon them, the limitless power of our crystal sun was used to mutate them...into creatures better suited to serve our selfish needs.

Water breathers to bring us the bounty of the sea. Monstrous beasts burdened to raise our monuments and dig our canals. Alopex stared at the screen in silence taking in what she was watching, until a strange creature, that looked like a werewolf, appeared. Her eyes widened as she turned her head, curious, still watching. Versallia continued.

And avians to control the skies, preventing certain Atlanteans from escaping. Atlanteans, who, like me, detested the dark ways of our people. And then, an uprising. The human cultures banded together and launched an attack upon our home. The Atlanteans were taken by surprise.

The high council gathered in the Star Chamber, to take retaliatory action. And the slaves were ordered to turn the power of our crystal sun into the most of devastating of weapons. But many slaves were allied with the human forces, determined to put an end to their cruel Y'Lyntian taskmasters. The power of our crystal sun was turned back upon itself, with catastrophic consequences. And the fabled island of Y'Lyntius sank beneath the waves."

"Wait a minute," Mikey spoke. "fabled island of Y'Lyntius? You mean Y'Lyntius is really-"

"Atlantis!" Donnie exclaimed in realization. "Of course! Why didn't I get it before? You guys are from the lost city of Atlantis! Unbelievable!"

"Yes, we may be all that remains of the once great civilization," Versallia answered. "A few of us managed to escape destruction and took a fragment of the sun crystal, though it's power was hugely diminished. It was enough to give to a vast life underground refuge. Now named the Crystal Moon, the smaller power source ultimately began to weaken and without slaves, the Atlanteans found that they were ill-equipped to survive on their own.

So they chose to go into crystal suspension until the next planetary alignment could recharge the the moon crystal. Only one remained awake, the high mage. It was his task to watch over the city until the Crystal Moon could be recharged. And now, all has been fulfilled and foreseen by the high council. The alignment has come to pass. They Crystal Moon has recharged and the high council are using it to raise our ancient city of the sea."

"And," Donnie explained, gravely. "with the sudden geologic change on such a massive scale, continents will begin to shift and sink. Most of the human race will be wiped out! It'll be the end of the world as we know it."

"Then we gotta stop 'em!" Raph declared.

"Maybe we can take a page from Y'Lyntian history and sabotage the crystal power source just like the slaves did," Leo suggested.

"Sounds like a plan," Raph commented, eagerly. "Let's do it!"

"I can get a prism large enough to interfere with the energy beam," Versallia lead them to an armory room. "but we will have to gain access to the Star chamber. It will not be easy."

"Especially if more of those lava monsters are around!" Mikey exclaimed.

"This Y'Lyntian armor will protect you from the the lavaries. If you dislodge the fire crystals, from within their bodies, using these staffs, the lava monsters will disintegrate," Versallia said, throwing Raph a staff.

"Good!" he smirked. "It's time for a little payback. Those goons melted my sai!"

"Suit up, guys!" Everyone spinned their staffs locking them together in the air.

The Atlantean High Council were chanting, as the lava monsters guarded them from above. On the crystal, they were channeling their power into, the waters of the ocean were beginning to shift, violently.

"Time to party!" Mikey exclaimed as they sneaked into the room.

"Here, this will enable you to disrupt the crystal flow," Versallia handed Leo a large crystal.

"Alright, thanks," he told her. Leo turned to the others. "Are we all clear on the plan?" They nodded. "Be careful." he warned as he began to climb up the wall. Versallia left riding on a scooter.

"Alrighty then!" Mikey shouted. "Turtle armor force, move out!"

Leo looked around before jumping as he was close to the Star Chamber. He turns a corner. "Huh, so far so..." A lava monster appeared before him. "Bad!" Leo jumped away, pulling out his staff, spinning it.

"Okay, now where's that crystal heart of yours?" Leo tried to strike at it, but the monster knocks him back onto the floor. Leo looks down at his armor to see a hole that had nearly melted through his armor.

"At least we know the armor works," he murmured. Leo stood up, gripping his staff in his hands. "Now let's give the staff another try!"

The lava monster throws another fire ball at him and Leo quickly jumps out of the way. He jumps up and cuts the monster in half. A large red crystal falls from it, landing on the ground.

"Wow, the Y'Lyntian batter armor, don't storm the Star Chamber without it!" he joked.

"Hey, Raph," Mikey spoke as they walked down the hallway.

"What?" Raph questioned, a little annoyed.

"Does my butt look big in this outfit?" Mikey joked. Alopex snickered.

"Mikey..." Raph warned.

"I think that you look cute in it," Alopex commented. Mikey laughed.

"Aw, thanks, babe," he said. "You don't look too bad, yourself." Yuuki frowned as she turned to them.

"Uh, guys," She answered." "Maybe, you could be a little less quieter with the flirting?"

"Well, she does!" Mikey replied.

Suddenly, a lava monster appeared in front of everyone. They looked to their right to see three more monsters approaching them. Then another one began to advance on them from behind. Donnie was attacked as one threw a fireball at him. He spinned his staff, deflecting it. Donnie ran up to it, trying to throw strikes at it, but the monsters knocks him back to the wall. It charged at Donnie and he jumps over it, slicing the monster in half. He threw his staff at the head of the monster, removing the crystal from it.

"Hey guys, it works! Aim for their crystal hearts!" Donnie called out to the others.

"Easier said..." Mikey was grabbed by a monster as it pushed him to the ceiling. It throws him to the ground, getting ready to strike. "Than done!" Mikey quickly rolled out of the way as the monster tried to melt him. He turned to the monster as it returned back to it's original form.

"Gross!" Mikey exclaimed. He slices the leg of the monster then the other and it falls to the floor. Mikey quickly stabbed his staff through the monster's stomach, removing the crystal from it. "Aw, did I break your heart?"

Raph tried to cut through a monster but it phases through him, shifting, until it grabs him. The lava monster bit down on Raph's staff breaking it in half. Raph spinned the broken pieces in his hands and slices the monster's head off. "Okay, now let's find that crystal of yours!"

The monster engulfed it's head, making a fireball, throwing it at Raph. He quickly dodged it, deflecting the blast with his staff pieces.

"Right back at ya!" Raph shouted, throwing one of the staff pieces at the monster. It hits it mark right into the monster's chest, knocking the crystal out of it. The lava monster dispels, turning into a puddle of molten lava.

"Uh, clean up on aisle 12!" Mikey called.

"Shut up," Raph told him, as they ran off.

"Come on," Yuuki said, as they ran.

The High Council continued to chant as a continent started to form from out of the ocean, rising out of it. The Sole Survivor stops, as he sensed the turtles and the girls were near, figuring out that they have escaped from their prison. "Our centuries have failed. Maintain your focus, the island must continue to rise. I will deal with the intruders."

He opened the doors, only to be blocked by Donnie and Raph, with their staffs. Mikey popped out, hanging upside from the ceiling.

"Roll out the welcome mat and break out the bone china, you got company!" he exclaimed.

"You dare desecrate the Star Chamber?!" the Atlantean yelled. He took his crystal and beams of light grabbed everyone, capturing and electrocuting them. "Fools! You are no match for my power!"

"We know," Donnie told him. "That's why...we're not here to fight you."

"Yeah! We're here to distract you!" Mikey corrected. Leo stood above them, looking down.

"Your crazy ritual is wrecking havoc across the globe!" He held up the crystal. "But it stops now!"

"No!" the high mage shouted, dropping everyone. Leo jumped onto the large crystal. "Yes!" he pierced his crystal into the power source, breaking it. The crystal emitted beams of light as it was destroyed. The High Council's powers rebounded back into them as the continent began to sink back into the ocean.

"You've done it," Versallia floated next to Leo on the scooter. "but come, we must flee the city. I managed to grab an extra scooter. Let's go."

Everyone escaped on the scooters just as the city exploded. The Crystal Moon sank beneath the lava as well. The scooter's powers gradually began to fade, powering down.

"We lost all power!" Donnie yelled. "Jump!" They jumped over landed on a ledge, while Leo and Versallia dangled from it.

"Grab my hand!" Raph told him, as he and Yuuki helped them up. Soon, the city began to sink until it was gone. Everyone watched as it did.

"Close call," Leo commented, putting a hand on Versallia's shoulder. "but we did it."

"The world is safe...but...but I've lost everything I've ever known." She started to cry. Leo pulled her close to him while Yuuki kneeled down, patting her back, comforting her.

Everyone walked until they reached the entrance to the underground city. "Where will you go, Versallia?" Leo questioned.

"I have heard long ago of other underground cities where Atlanteans like myself fled the dark empire. I hope to find them." she told them.

"Well, if you ever get topside, look us up," Donnie replied.

Versallia smiled as she waved at everyone. "Farewell, my friends, safe journey." She walked away leaving in another tunnel entrance.

"Come on," Leo said. "Let's get the Tunneler and get out of here."

"And Mikey, you are not driving," Raph replied.

"Letting me drive is the least you could do for dragging me back here to Creepy Cavern," Mikey complained.

"Aw, suck it up, Mikey," Raph replied.

"And look at the bright side," Leo assured him. "we'll never have to come back here ever again."

"Yeah, that's what you said the last time. And the time before that. And the time before that. And the time before that."

Raph smacked Mikey on the back of his head with his hand.

"Ow!"
