"Man, how long is this storm going to go on? It just won't let up. I have to find Alopex. Please, let her be okay." Mikey shivered.

"Huh?" Mikey had a feeling that he was being followed. "Anybody there? Mokoshan? If that's you, I'm not in the mood." A loud growl and Mikey quickly turned around. Mikey made a girlish scream as he came face to face with a giant polar bear. It was abnormally large as it stood on its legs, towering over Mikey and let out another aggressive roar. "AW SHELL!"

Mikey quickly ducked out of the way as the bear swung its claws at him. Mikey quickly pulled out his nunchucks and the bear smacked Mikey back, knocking him down to the ground. Mikey quickly scrambled to grab his weapons as the bear started to inch closer to him. "Ow, my back! I gotta get out of here!" Then Mikey felt himself being lifted up by his hood as the bear grabbed him by his claws. "I don't suppose we could talk this out?" Mikey smiled sheepishly. Mikey felt the hot breath from the bear's mouth as it snorted in his face then it flung Mikey as it threw him. Mikey screamed as he was falling over a cliff. This was it. His entire life was over. He was going to become a turtle pancake and probably become that freak of nature's dinner! No one was going to find him. Mikey felt his shell hit something hard and slammed his head.

"Ali...I'm sorry." Mikey murmured softly and blacked out as he heard the large bear above him, peering down as it let out a roar.

"Moon eyes." Alopex slowly opened her eyes, blinking them in the darkness. She saw a figure sitting in front of her as they held a candle in there and saw a wolf woman wearing a light-yellow top and blue pants, barefoot. She set the candle down on the table by the bedside. "He calls you moon eyes. I doubt you know what that really means."

Alopex saw the woman glaring at her eyes filled with jealously. "I do. I know what it means, especially to me. Here let me check your bandages." The woman grabbed Alopex's injured shoulder roughly tugging on her bandages.

"AARGH!" Alopex cried out in pain.

"Dear sweet, Moon eyes."

"Alopex!" The door busted open and Mokoshan rushed into the room, seeing the two. He was wearing a blue vest over a white shirt and red pants, barefoot as well.

"Oops." The wolf woman pulled away, seeing him.

"Out. Revyen. NOW." Mokoshan ordered. Revyen made a small bow and brushed the alpha wolf, sharing a glance with him and he stared her down. She closed the door behind her, leaving. Mokoshan turned and walked over to the bed to Alopex and checked her bandages, readjusting them.

"M...Mokoshan?" Alopex said, weakly.

"I'm right here. Just go back to sleep." Mokoshan said, softly.

"T-That woman, who w-was she?" Alopex murmured, struggling to keep her eyes open. She felt like she was fading in and out. Where was Mikey?

"Never mind her. Just sleep and get well. The storm will pass soon." Mokoshan said to Alopex and he pulled the blankets back on her. Alopex felt so tired and drained, and she closed her eyes going back to sleep. Mokoshan watched over her as he sat by the bedside until he got up and left the room as Alopex rested.

"Listen, do you hear that?" Donnie asked.

"I don't hear anything." Venus said.

"Exactly, the storm's over. We can head out and find Alopex." Donnie said and opened the flap of the tent, crawling out. Venus followed behind him. The blizzard had passed, and snow was still falling gently to the ground. Donnie walked over to Leo and Yuuki's tent to tell them that the storm had passed. Venus went to wake up Raph, Mona and April and Casey. As Donnie approached closer, he was startled to see Leo open the tent stepping outside.

"Oh, Leo. You're already up?" Donnie questioned. Yuuki yawned and crawled out.

"The storm over?" She asked him. Donnie nodded. Raph walked over to Mikey's tent to wake him up. This ought to scare him. Raph chuckled and started to shake it. "Rise and shine, Mikey." No response. Raph frowned in suspicion.

"Come on, Mikey? Time to wake up." Raph said.

"But there's no tracks. How are we going figure out which direction that they went in?" Yuuki asked Donnie. Raph and Mona quickly ran over to the group.

"Guys, Mikey's gone!" Raph shouted.

"What?!" Everyone exclaimed in shock.

"He actually went out in this storm." Yuuki murmured, worried.

"That chucklehead, what was he thinking?" Raph said.

"Donnie, what are you doing?" Venus asked him and saw Donnie walking over to a tree, examining it. Donnie turned back to the group, showing them what he was looking at.

"Guys, I think I figured out which direction Mikey headed in. If I'm not mistaking, that's a piece of his jacket tied on the branched of this tree. And up ahead there's markings as well. All we got to do is follow them and eventually we'll find him. I just hope that we're not too late." He pointed out.

"At least he was smart enough to leave a trail for us." April replied.

"Now let's go and find him before he gets himself into trouble." Raph said. The group packed up and followed the trail that Mikey had left behind walking past the trees that he had scratched and marked the bark off.

"Ooh, my head." Mikey groaned. His eyes widen and he quickly sat up. "Alopex! I have to find her!"

"Take it easy, turtle-spirit. The were-bear is gone, gone with the storm." Mikey saw the native that he had saw earlier, sitting down beside him. He noticed that his coat had been ripped to shreds by the sleeves with multiple holes in them.

"Last thing I remember is falling off this cliff and landing on the ledge. How did I-" Mikey murmured as he drifted off and he peered over the edge of the cliff, seeing the ledge that he remember he slammed down on.

"Me? My name is Dave. Are you truly a turtle-spirt? Because if so, then something must be up." Dave told Mikey.

"I'm just a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Wait a minute, you're the dude that I kept seeing on the side of the road in the van." Mikey said.

"Yes, my family moved to this area when my father worked building the pipeline." Dave spoke.

"Then you know this area? You wouldn't happen to have seen some wolf people, have you?" Mikey asked him.

"The wolf-spirits are everywhere and nowhere. They are one with the land." Dave replied.

"You lost me." Mikey said, confused.

"Follow me." Dave got up and Mikey stood up, following him and the man lead Mikey through the forest heading deeper in. Mikey followed him, while looking around every once and a while for the bear that had attacked him. That animal was huge and dangerous. But then again, he had fought bigger and stranger things before. Mikey saw the man stop and turned to him and Mikey stepped closer to see two caves in front of him.

"This is it? This is the way. So which path do I take?" Mikey asked him.

"One is always faced with two choices in life, that which you do and that which you don't do. The path taken and the path not taken." The Indian stated. Mikey frowned.

"So which one?" He asked Dave again.

"The wolves hold the understanding to all things." Dave told him. "Meaning I don't know which path you should choose. One of them."

"Gee, thanks, for your help." Mikey dead panned.

"Good luck, turtle spirit!" Mikey gulped as he looked at both paths, deciding on which to take and went to the right. "Please, let this one be the right way. Alopex."

Howls filled the dark sky as a gathering of wolves stood in front of a pyre. Mokoshan walked towards it carrying his fallen mate wrapped in bandages and placed her on it. "Nei'sha, you were mine and I was yours. My love, our queen." Mokoshan said, mournfully. A wolf handed him a torch and he took it from him. "The great spirit gives us sight, each day a new breath, but as day has it's night so life has it's death. Nei'sha, my sweet Nei'sha, join me now, my people in a final song."

All of the wolves let out a howl in the sky grieving for their lost queen. Their cries filled the mountains, echoing all throughout until they reached Alopex's room. She stirred in her slumber and woke up, hearing the howls coming from outside.

"H-Huh?" Alopex murmured. She got up and slipped on a white robe and limped over to the window, peering out to see what was happening.

"Goodbye. My love." Mokoshan said, solemnly. He slowly lowered the torch and lit the pyre. The wolves and him let out another howl, solemnly.

"Sad. He sounds so sad." Alopex said, softly. She slowly walked over to the door and walked out of the room. She walked down some stone stairs, hanging to the wall for balance and made it outside. She saw the wolves leave until Mokoshan was alone and slowly approached him. "Mokoshan?"

"Moon Eyes?" Mokoshan answered her, surprised to see Alopex up.

"Mokoshan, that song, who was she?" Alopex asked him.

"She was our queen, my mate." Mokoshan explained. Alopex began to feel lightheaded, her vision started to get blurry.

"I'm sorry, I-I don't feel so good." Alopex started to topple over almost falling. Mokoshan caught her before she fell to the ground.

"Here, let me take you back to your room." He spoke and led her back.

The rest of the group continued to search for Mikey as they followed his trail. Donnie went ahead following Mikey's footprints. It looked he was in a fight with something. "What do you got?" Raph asked Donnie.

"Something looks like a piece torn from a coat. Mikey's coat!" Donnie exclaimed as he saw a ripped piece of cloth from Mikey's jacket. "Right at the edge of this cliff." He said, gravely.

"You don't think he fell, do you?" Leo asked.

"Hey, over here! We found his nunchucks!" April called out to them.

"Mikey." Yuuki murmured, worried.

"But that's not all there's two sets of footprints. Looks like just recently too." April told them.

"Only one way to find out. Let's follow them." Leo said. The group followed the footprints and saw that the led to two caves up head, heading into the mountain.

"They stop at the two caves up ahead." Donnie explained.

"Great. So, which one?" Casey asked.

"Yo! Mikey!" Raph shouted into the cave. His voice echoed.

"Okay, we'll go through this one. Weapons at the ready." Leo told everyone. They took the left cave and walked inside, cautiously, calling out for Mikey as they headed deeper in. In the other cave, Mikey stumbled around as he saw that it was getting darker, the deeper he headed in. Then Mikey heard a noise and stopped in his tracks.

"Am I-Am I being followed?" Mikey murmured. His eyes widen seeing several yellow glowing eyes in front of him in the darkness, getting closer and closer to him. Growling and snarling at him. From every corner around him, Mikey saw many wolves from above and below him, blocking his path. "I'm surrounded by wolves!"
