-Winter 2012-
Tony tossed and turned in his bed, unable to sleep. It had been two days since Kerry had told him she had to think about where all of this was going with them. Unfortunately for him, and perhaps fortunately for her, they hadn't had any scenes together on set in the past two days, giving her ample opportunity to gracefully avoid him.
He was trying to be patient but this was definitely almost getting the best of him. Running his hands through his curly hair, he groaned, wishing he could just sleep. She was a constant on his mind. The way she smiled. The way she talked. Her breathtaking beauty. The passion she had for the things that mattered to her. And those looks she gave. Her eyes were his favorite thing about her and the first thing he had noticed when they met. The eyes are the window to the soul and in her case, that was definitely true. And boy, did he love her soul.
His brain scanned all of their memories they shared in the last few years and settled on the one where they filmed the episode "The Trail". That look she gave him as Olivia, where he silently admitted, as Fitz, why he tried to fire her. As Tony, he felt weak in the knees when she gave him that look, and that was rare for him, especially given the fact that they were both great professional actors. But sometimes things just shown through that couldn't be hidden, no matter how hard someone tried to. The automatic natural closeness between them had the camera, and Shonda, humming happily. He hadn't really fallen for anyone he had acted with before, especially this hard.
As much as he and Jane understood the Hollywood scene, He was honest and transparent with her about any other such private arrangements, which hadn't really occurred up until now. As friendly as he was, he also kept to himself in a way. Being in this business for so long, not much caught his eye and he preferred it that way. Sighing, he fluffed his pillow and closed his eyes, and soon enough, sleep came, with sweet dreams.
Kerry was in bed, tossing and turning too. She had been thinking long and hard the past two days of what she was going to do. Her mind and soul just couldn't continue on like this and had to settle on some type of decision. Luckily, they hadn't had any scenes together on set the past two days and as much as she missed him, she was also grateful for the space, as it gave her time to think. She just wanted to do the right thing. That's what she had always strived to do, even as a child. But now as an adult, she realized that there are indeed some gray areas in life, as long as honest conversations with the correct people were had.
Her mind turned solely to Tony and not their situation. He was amazing, and their natural chemistry was even more so. Every look, every touch, even while acting in their scenes made her body burn in the best way. She wished their romantic scenes were just the two of them in their own little bubble, as it was always awkward to kiss and film sex scenes in front of the cameras, despite the fact that they limited the crew. She savored the way he looked at her and loved that when she reached out for him he was always there. The intensity was enough to drive her almost crazy. And the conversations. Both were supremely intelligent and like minded. She smiled, remembering the times they had the deepest most wonderful conversations until the wee hours of the morning.
She closed her eyes, imagining her looking up into his face, running her hands through the curls in the back of his head as she loved to do. Sighing, she turned over and closed her eyes and laid there for a while. Her mind was going in circles, but she laid there and continued to process things. It wasn't long before she too nodded off to sleep. Her dreams were filled with Tony, and by the time she woke up, she had made her decision.
Tony sat in his trailer at set, going over his lines in the script. His phone buzzed. It was a text.
Kerry: Let's have dinner tonight at my place, 8pm?
Tony: I'll be there!
For the rest of the day Tony could barely concentrate. Luckily he had limited lines that day and was outta there by 6pm.
He raced home and went to shower. Spraying on his cologne, he ran his fingers through his hair to apply some product. Glancing at his watch, he slipped on a navy button down shirt and brown pants. Grabbing his car keys, he headed over to Kerry's. The drive there was filled with thoughts. What if she ends this? He couldn't live without her. Pulling up to her condo. He knocked on the door nervously.
The door opened and there stood Kerry, looking perfect. She was wearing a beautiful fitted little black dress, her gorgeous natural curls and a pretty red lip.
Tony gasped and apparently it was audible, and Kerry heard. She smiled and held out her hand. "Come on in babe."
He took her hand and she pulled him playfully inside. The gap between them quickly closed as their bodies pressed together. Running his hands over the length of her dress, he bit his lip, leaning in even closer, looking into her eyes with a look that made her weak in the knees. She caressed his cheek, getting close to his ear. "Let's have a talk Mister", she whispered.
They sat down together on the sofa, Kerry taking his hand and looking lovingly into his eyes.
"Tony..Our love. It's beautiful, but it's also... complicated," she said, her voice tinged with a mixture of joy and concern.
Tony nodded, understanding her unspoken worries. They had both been in the public eye for years, their every move scrutinized by fans and the media. "I know," he said softly. "We've created something special, something just for us. But keeping it private... it's not easy."
Kerry lifted her head to look into his eyes, her gaze searching for reassurance. "Do you think it's worth it?"
Tony cupped her face in his hands, his thumb gently caressing her cheek. "Every second. Every moment with you is worth it. But we have to protect it, Kerry. Our love is ours and no one else's.
She nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I want to keep us safe, Tony. I want to hold on to what we have without the chaos of the outside world. We have these unexplainable soul ties that just can't be ignored. I've decided that once the conversations are had with the ones that should know, that we will remain as we were. We will appreciate and embrace our love. Even if at times it's just a text..phone call..FaceTime.
He smiled, breathing an inward sigh of relief, leaning in to kiss her gently. "Then that's what we'll do. We'll keep our love private, We'll cherish every moment, every whispered word. We'll make it work, together."
Kerry's smile widened, a sense of relief washing over her. "Together," she echoed, wrapping her arms around him.
Their foreheads pressed together, Tony's voice huskily broke the silence. "Kerry..I'm so addicted to you. There is no one like you. You have no idea how much I love YOU."
Kerry's breath caught in her throat and found her heart skipping a beat. Blushing she leaned over and kissed him gently on the neck. "I'll always be yours", she whispered. The whole vibe was incredibly erotic, Tony could feel the hair on the back of his neck standing up. No longer able to control himself, he grabbed her and started devouring her lips.
The hunger between them showed up raw and beautiful. Kerrys hands fumbled with the buttons on his shirt until she couldn't take it any longer and ripped his shirt off. She could feel Tonys hands frantically unzipping the back of her dress, pulling it down, revealing a beautiful black lace set.
Tony stopped to admire her beauty. "My God Kerry!" He gasped. "You are BEAUTIFUL! You are truly captivating in every sense of the word!"
Her eyes stared sensually back at him, and she softly moaned as he leaned in to kiss her. She locked her hands around the back of his head, gently grabbing a fistful of his curls. "Don't stop!" She breathed hard. Tony replied eagerly in kisses all down her neck. She leaned her head back in ecstasy, licking her lips, savoring every moment and sensation from his devoted lips on her neck.
His lips trailed down her body until they reached the point of no return. The pleasure that radiated from both of their bodies seemed to be enough to start a forest fire. Tony felt her grip his curls harder and knew he was on the right path. His tongue made short work of her and soon the noises she was making blocked his brain from thinking about anything other than her.
After she finished, he made his way back up to her face and kissed her deeply. "I love the way you taste" he whispered in her ear, licking his lips, sending a shiver down her spine. She stared groggily, yet sensually back at him, feeling like she was on cloud nine.
"We aren't finished yet baby", she breathed, pulling him back on top of her, feeling his warmth all over her body. "We'll never be finished sweetheart". He looked like he was about to explode, literally and figuratively. His messy curls were so attractive to her. This whole deeply spiritual experience left them seeing stars to the depths of their soul.
They continued into the night, unable to stop, getting incredibly lost in the moment..but at the same time, finding each other.
