~~~Chapter Fifteen~~~

~~~Previous~~~

The male lets out a scoff. "Wasn't White the first one released? Did you forget it was the first one?"

"It was…" Yami comments.

"W-what do you mean?" The male questions.

"The clock hands have passed into the afternoon." Yami points out. "So, now we use the afternoon numbering system. White stands for thirteen o'clock. Blow up number thirteen!"

"Stop screwing around!" The male demands angrily.

"The culprit saw me somehow, but…there were no other people in the park. If he's watching me and the Ferris wheel…The gondola with a person who doesn't rely on a clock is thirteen. You are…in gondola thirteen! If you're saying that's wrong, then blow it up." Yami comments.

"Your guess is wrong." The male denies it. "I'm blowing up three."

"You won't have time for that. Very soon, the bomb in thirteen will blow." Yami adds.

The male lets out a scoff. "There is no bomb here!"

A smirk appears on Yami's face. "Look carefully." Yami places the phone near his watch so the ticking is heard.

The male hurriedly looks around car 13. "What is this sound?"

"The punishment game of fate!" Yami calls out. He points a finger in front of him. The tip of his finger glows gold. The third eye is shown briefly before the ball of energy flies straight towards car 13 and hits the male on the forehead.

The male shouts and covers half of his face with his hand. He looks at the floor, and his eyes widen when something appears. "What is this?" He picks it up.

"The Door of Darkness…has opened!" Yami calls out.

The male notices he is holding a bomb that is ticking. He lets out a yell before rushing towards the door. He bangs against it, causing the window's glass to shatter, pushing the door open. "Save me!" He screams as he falls out. He goes through the ceiling of a building below.

"If you're going to play with people's lives in a game…then you should prepare to give up your own," Yami states as he looks at the Ferris wheel.

The police officers and inspectors rush into the same building the male falls through. They carry him out. Yami makes his way over and points at him. "He's the culprit, inspector-san."

The inspector looks surprised. "Really?"

Yami passes him the phone back before he rushes to the Ferris wheel.

~~~Isis's POV~~~

I sigh softly as the Ferris Wheel moves, and we descend back to the ground. Car 3 comes to a stop, and the staff opens the door. Just then, Anzu begins to stir, and she opens her eyes.

"Anzu," I call out softly.

Anzu slowly sits up. "Isis." She lets out a wince and holds the side of her head.

"You hit your head and fell unconscious," I commented softly.

Anzu's eyes widen. "The bomb?"

I shake my head. "It's alright. It's been dealt with."

Anzu lets out a sigh of relief. "That's good."

We leave car three and head over to Yuugi, who is waiting for us. "Isis-nee! Anzu! You're okay!"

Honda, Jounouchi, and Miho rush over. "There they are!"

"So, they were inside!" Honda exclaims.

"Just what happened?" Jounouchi questions.

I let out a soft chuckle. "Nothing to worry about. It's all been sorted."

Yuugi and Anzu nod their heads.

Honda, Jounouchi, and Miho look at us, confused, causing us to laugh.

~~~Present~~~

~~~3rd POV~~~

Inside an old, abandoned house surrounded by fog, female voices echo. "Eyeball of frog, and tongue of bat…"

Inside a room is a large cauldron with purple liquid bubbling inside.

"Leg of newt…wing of owl…" They are thrown inside.

Around the cauldron are three females with blue hair peeking out from underneath their brown cloaks. One female is stirring the cauldron with a spoon.

"Stomach of mummy…liver of goat…The fire boils it!"

"When will it be?" The first female queries.

"When we are again three." The second female replies.

"Calm the disturbance." The third female states.

"Winning and losing the battle." The second female adds. "And then…"

"Then, let us finish before sunset." The three of them say at the same time.

~~~Isis's POV~~~

I slowly stir and open my eyes. I blink before turning my head to the side. I let out a sigh when I saw my clock, and it showed that, once again, I had woken up just after dawn.

I gaze up at my ceiling. Grandfather doesn't get up until after half seven, and Yuugi doesn't until 8. I ponder. I let out a soft chuckle. I might surprise them and make breakfast…let's see, how about Royal Milk Tea for Yuugi and me and umm…Honey Ginger Tea for Grandfather and Buttermilk Pancakes? I nod my head. I'll do that. First, I think I'll go for a bath for a change.

I get out of bed and head into my bathroom. I turn on the taps, add a lily-scented bubble bath, take off my nightie, turn off the taps and get into the water. I rest my head against the edge of the bath and let out a sigh. I close my eyes and relax for ten minutes before washing myself and my hair with my usual shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner.

I step out of the bath and empty the water. I place on my emerald green bathrobe and towel dry my hair. I head into my bedroom and sit in front of my vanity. I pick up my hairdryer and slowly dry my hair. After my hair is dry, I pick up my hairbrush. I blink when I see Yami appear behind me. "My Pharaoh," I call out softly.

"My Queen," Yami replies before holding out his hand. I hand him my brush and close my eyes, and we follow the usual routine of where he brushes and ties up my hair. He seems to be pleased when he gets to brush my hair.

He finishes tying up my hair. Arms wrap around my waist, and weight appears on my shoulder. My eyes opened to see Yami wrapped his arms around my waist and his head resting against my shoulder with his eyes closed.

"Is something the matter?" I ask softly.

Yami shakes his head slightly. "No. Let's just stay like this for a little while."

I look at my clock. It is only half six. "Alright." I close my eyes and lean back against his chest, and I let out a low sigh.

We stayed there in silence until 7 o'clock. I let out a sigh and opened my eyes. "I have to get ready now, my Pharaoh. I am making breakfast this morning."

Yami opens his eyes, removes his head from my shoulder, and slowly removes his arms around my waist. A displeased look appears on his face. I let out a soft chuckle. "It's not like you can't come back later."

Yami lets out a sigh. "True. I'll see you later, My Queen."

I nod my head. "I'll see you later, My Pharaoh."

Yami disappears back into his puzzle. I get up and get dressed. I head down into the kitchen and get ready to make breakfast. I'll make the pancakes first and then two types of tea afterwards.

I get all the ingredients that I need. I need all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, sea salt, eggs, buttermilk, unsalted butter, sugar, almond extract, powdered sugar, maple syrup, and strawberry sauce.

First, I need to make the pancake batter. I get a large bowl, place the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, and whisk them together. In a small bowl, I whisk the egg and melted butter together. I stir in the buttermilk and the sugar in the same small bowl. I add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and whisk it together. Lastly, I add the almond extract to the batter and mix it.

I move over to the oven. I get a frying pan, place it on medium heat, and heat ½ Tbsp butter. I pour ¾ cup of batter onto the hot pan from 12 inches high. I let it cook until I see many bubbles start to show on the surface of the pancake, which is normally around 3 minutes. I flip the pancake over and cook it on the other side for around 1.5 minutes when it turns light brown. I do the same with the rest of the batter and am left with 12 pancakes.

I move the pancakes over to the table along with maple syrup and strawberry sauce. I look at the clock to see that it is half 7. I hear movement, and it isn't long before Grandfather enters the kitchen, and I see his eyes widen. "Isis."

"Morning, Grandfather. I have made breakfast. I am just about to make some tea. Could you wake Yuugi?" I query softly.

"Morning, Isis." Grandfather greets. "I'll go wake Yuugi. He won't wake up by himself." Grandfather chuckles before heading upstairs.

I let out a soft chuckle before heading back over to the oven. I'll make Royal Milk Tea first. I need water, black tea leaves, milk, and honey. I get a milk pan, add warm water, and boil it. With the water boiling, I add the tea leaves and reduce the heat.

I leave it to simmer for 2 minutes. I add milk and let it simmer. I get two cups and pour hot water to keep the cups warm. When the tea is boiled, I remove the pan from the heat and pour the tea through a tea strainer into the cups, which are empty as I emptied the hot water. I bring the cups to the table with some honey on the side.

I head back to the oven and make Grandfather Honey Ginger Tea. I need grated ginger, water, honey, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. I get a knife, cut off the tough ends of the ginger root, and scrape off the skin. I grate the end of the ginger root and avoid the fibres, which run lengthwise along the root from one end to the other.

When the fibres started to appear, I cut off the fibres with a knife. I take the grated ginger and the juice and place them into a saucepan with water. I add honey to the mixture and let it boil, stirring to ensure it is completely dissolved.

When it comes to a boil, I lower the heat and add the lemon juice. I make a slurry by mixing water and potato starch. I drizzle the slurry into the pot of ginger tea. I stir it together until it is combined and slightly thickened. I pour the tea into a cup and take it to the table.

Just then, Grandfather and Yuugi come back. I look up with a smile. "Breakfast is ready."

Yuugi looks at the table, and his eyes light up. "Pancakes!"

I let out a soft chuckle. "Buttermilk pancakes. Royal milk tea for me and you and Honey Ginger Tea for Grandfather. Now, let's eat before it goes cold."

We say our thanks as usual before eating our breakfast. After we finished, Grandfather and Yuugi headed into the shop while I washed up. After I finish, I head to the shop.

The door of the shop opens, and Anzu walks in. "Morning, Anzu." I greet.

"Morning, Isis," Anzu says before looking at Yuugi.

"Anzu!" Yuugi exclaims, surprised.

I let out a soft chuckle. Grandfather goes behind the counter while Yuugi looks at the card packets wide-eyed. "Wow! You got some Duel Monsters cards!"

"This card game is rapidly gaining in popularity." Grandfather lifts a finger. "Everywhere you go, the cards are sold out."

Anzu closes an eye and makes a V sigh. "I'm also learning Duel Monsters."

Yuugi lets out a surprised sound.

Grandfather holds up two packets. "Even though it's a sales product, as a favour, I'll give it to you two as a present."

"Really?" Yuugi and Anzu exclaim.

The door opens, and someone walks in. "Welcome." Grandfather greets.

Yuugi looks at the cards he has. "Ah…too bad…I own all of them."

Anzu looks at a card. "Hey. I've never seen this card before." She shows it to Yuugi.

Yuugi looks. "This is…Violet Hekate!"

I narrow my eyes slightly when I see the female that walked in freeze.

"What?" Grandfather exclaims.

"Is it rare?" Anzu questions.

I shake my head. "It's not just rare, right Yuugi?"

Yuugi nods his head and holds up three fingers. "This card is one of the three witch sisters. It's a rare card that you won't see just anywhere."

Anzu lets out a thoughtful sound and gazes down at her card.

Grandfather places his fingers against his chin. "It's also the first time that I've seen it."

Anzu blinks before a smile appears, and she turns the card towards Yuugi. "I'll give it to you then."

Yuugi looks at her, confused. "You're giving this to me?"

"Yeah." Anzu agrees. "If the card is that precious, then I'm sure it'd be more useful if Yuugi had it."

Yuugi takes the card before jumping about happily. "All right! Wow!" Yuugi snaps out of it and looks at Anzu with a smile. "Thank you, Anzu! I'll cherish it.

Anzu holds up a hand with a smile on her face. "Okay."

Yuugi looks at the card.

Grandfather looks towards the door. "The customer just now…"

"She left a minute ago, Grandfather." I offer.

Grandfather shrugs. "Oh well."

~~~Next Day~~~

~~~At School~~~

As soon as we walk into school, Yuugi tells Jounouchi and Honda about the Violet Hecate card.

"That card is really that rare?" Jounouchi queries.

"Nice! Miho also wants one!" Miho exclaims with a smile; her fist curls under her chin.

"I bet you don't know the rules." Anzu teases.

Honda looks at Miho with a blush on his cheeks. "I guess I'd also like to try."

Jounouchi looks down at Yuugi. "It seems fun."

"Let's play together." Yuugi offers happily. Yuugi opens his shoe locker. "I'll teach you the rules. It's simple." Yuugi takes out his shoes, and something falls to the ground.

"Love letter!" Jounouchi and Honda shout, surprised.

Anzu looks at the letter, her eyebrow twitching. "Hey. I didn't see; whose shoe locker did it fall from?"

Jounouchi holds the letter in the air and moves out of the way as Honda tries to reach up and grab it. "Mine, of course!"

"Don't be stupid! Mine! Mine!"

The pair argue. It falls from their hands, and Miho catches it. "It has 'Mutou Yuugi-sama' written on it."

Jounouchi and Honda freeze and we all look at Miho.

"For me?" Yuugi questions, confused.

Miho holds it out. "Here."

Yuugi blinks, confused, as he gazes at the letter.

"Let's head to the classroom and see what it says." I offer.

We head to the classroom. Yuugi sits down, and it isn't long before Jounouchi speaks up. "So, what's it say? What's written there?" He bangs his fist on Yuugi's desk.

Yuugi flinches and closes his eyes.

Honda slides over. "What?" Yuugi lowers his head. Honda clenches his fist. "I'm so frustrated! Let me see!" Honda grabs it.

Yuugi lets out a gasp. Jounouchi and Honda begin fighting over the letter once more. "I'll do it!"

"I'm Yuugi's best friend!"

"Yuugi, that's a mistake!"

"No, that's me!"

"They are kind of similar." Miho comments.

Anzu and I share a look before sweatdropping. Anzu narrows her eyes. "Let me see!"

Jounouchi and Honda freeze. "Okay." Jounouchi holds out the letter.

Anzu takes the letter and opens it. "'Hello. I'm sure you're surprised to receive a letter like this suddenly. But I just wanted you to know these feelings in my heart. Could we meet just once? I'll be waiting after school at Domino Park. From Kageyama Risa.'"

"Yuugi-kun is popular with the girls!" Miho praises with a smile on her face.

A blush appears on Yuugi's face. "No way. I don't know this Kageyama Risa person."

Miho places her hands together, rests them against her cheek and closes her eyes. "A girl has been watching you from afar! Right, Anzu?"

Anzu moves her gaze away from the letter and towards Miho. "Yeah."

Honda crosses his arm across his chest and closes his eyes. "They say a name matches the body." Honda opens his eyes and holds up a finger. "Kageyama Risa…This is the name of an unattractive girl!"

"I think so, too!" Jounouchi agrees.

Jounouchi and Honda place an arm over their shoulder, and a grin appears. "For the first time, we get along!" They laugh.

"I'm sure it's a Frankenstein-like girl!" Honda adds. "Kageyama Risa, eh? That goes for all girls with Kana in their name."

I let out a sigh. "You've forgotten who also has Kana in their name, haven't you?"

Honda looks at me, confused. "What do you mean?"

Miho looks at her hand. She lifts to finger. "Mi…ho. Miho!" Tears appear in Miho's eyes before she lowers her head, turns around, and walks off.

"Miho-chan!" Honda calls out, panicking. He rushes after her. Jounouchi rushes after Honda. I let out a soft chuckle before looking back at Yuugi.

"Yuugi. So…what are you going to do?" Anzu questions.

Yuugi looks at Anzu, surprised before he looks away with a blush on his cheeks.

"If you don't feel like it, you don't have to go." Anzu points out.

"But it will be rude to stand her up," I add softly.

Yuugi lifts his head with a conflicted look.

Honda and Jounouchi appear in front of Yuugi, arms over each other's shoulders. "What are you saying? He's dealing with a female Franken. Be kind to her, Yuugi."

Jounouchi looks at Honda with a grin on his face. "We're getting along unusually well today, Honda."

"Yeah, Jounouchi!" Honda agrees.

The pair of them begin laughing again.

~~~After School~~~

~~~Domino Park~~~

Yuugi leaves the classroom first. I sighed before looking at Anzu, Miho, Jounouchi, and Honda. "You are going to follow, aren't you?"

"You must admit you must be curious, too." Anzu comments.

I nod my head. "True. We must stay quiet so we don't get caught then."

They nod their heads. I let out a soft chuckle before we left the classroom and followed Yuugi to the park. Yuugi sits on a bench, and we go behind some bushes.

"Hey, don't push!" Honda says, annoyed.

"You two." I scold softly.

"You bad-mouthed her so much, yet you came anyway!" Anzu comments, irritated.

"I want just to see her just once," Honda admits.

"A female Franken," Jounouchi adds.

"Yup, yup." Honda agrees.

Anzu looks at Yuugi. "What is this feeling?" She mutters.

I hear footsteps.

"Here she comes. That's her." Honda states.

Jounouchi leans forward and pushes Honda's head down. "Move; I can't see!"

"That school uniform…" Miho begins.

"Black Rose Girls Academy." Anzu finishes.

"That rich girl school?" Jounouchi queries.

I nod my head. "I had a chance of going there but wanted to be with Yuugi, so I declined their offer."

"I can't see the face," Honda mutters, annoyed.

We watch as the girl walks over to Yuugi. "U-Ummm." She lifts her head.

A blush appears on Jounouchi's and Honda's faces.

"Cute!" Miho praises.

She has short blue hair and green eyes. She is wearing a long-sleeved black uniform with a turquoise bow.

Anzu lets out a low gasp and looks on with wide eyes.

I let out a soft chuckle. Someone is getting jealous.

Yuugi looks at her with a small blush on his cheeks.

"You read the letter, didn't you?" She questions.

"Yes." Yuugi agrees. He stands up.

"Ummm, here." She holds out something. "I knitted this."

"Thank you." Yuugi looks at it before he takes it.

"I…" She lowers her head, a blush on her cheeks. "…just had to talk with you, Yuugi-kun." She looks up. "Oh? What a pretty pendant."

She reaches for it. I narrow my eyes when she flinches back and turns around. What's with that reaction?

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Yuugi asks worriedly.

She looks back at him. "No. It's nothing. I just feel excited. I'm going home. I'm sorry." She runs off in the other direction.

"Hey, Risa-chan." Yuugi calls out.

Miho, Jounouchi, and Honda lean forward too far and fall, getting Yuugi's attention. "You all!"

The three of them let out sheepish laughs.

I let out a soft chuckle. "Let's see what she made for Yuugi."

Yuugi nods his head and opens it.

"A summer vest!" Miho exclaims. Miho holds it up. "Wow! This is hand-knit!" Miho holds it in front of her. "It's full of love, right?!"

A blush appears on Yuugi's cheeks. "How embarrassing."

Honda and Jounouchi stand up with their eyes closed and heads lowered. "Sorry…But we're going home first." Honda states.

"For some reason, I've lost my confidence," Jounouchi admits.

"I want to rethink my life carefully," Honda adds.

They turn around and stagger off, their arms over each other's shoulders. "Are you okay, Honda?"

"We're the same, Jounouchi."

I let out a sigh. "Those two. Being so dramatic." I let out a chuckle. "They will bounce back to normal soon enough."

Anzu nods her head with a sigh before turning to look at Yuugi. "What are you going to do, Yuugi? That Risa girl is pretty serious. Are you doing to date her?"

"I only met her for the first time today." Yuugi points out. He looks away and lowers his head. "I don't know."

"Then, you're turning her down, right?" Anzu queries. She looks away with a smile on her face. "Yeah. That fits you, Yuugi."

Miho looks at Anzu with wide eyes. "Anzu! Could it be jealousy?"

Anzu freezes, and a blush appears before she snaps out of it. She turns to look at Miho and gets close to her face. "What are you saying? I'm worried about Yuugi as a friend! It's only natural!"

"No need to be so angry!" Miho comments as she leans back, her arms in front of her.

Yuugi looks away, slightly disheartened by Anzu's response.

I let out a sigh. These two…not honest about their feelings at all.

~~~At Game~~~

We head back home. I watch Yuugi and Grandfather play a game against each other.

Grandfather places down his next card. "Dark Dragon! The tables have turned." Grandfather looks at Yuugi, surprised when he notices Yuugi is looking in the other direction, not even focusing on the game. "Your mind's not here, is it?"

Yuugi snaps out of it and looks at Grandfather. "Ah, sorry."

"Your precious Violet Hekate is crying." Grandfather teases.

"His mind will be elsewhere. He got a love letter today." I point out slyly.

"Isis-nee!" Yuugi exclaims with a pout.

"Oh, a love letter?" Grandfather queries.

The phone rings, and Yuugi quickly gets up and answers it. "Yes, Mutou here. Hello? Hello?" It is silent before Yuugi lets out a low gasp. "Risa-chan!" Yuugi looks away with a blush on his face. "Yeah…" Yuugi looks surprised before he nods his head. "Then, Tomorrow at Domino Park."

~~~Next Day~~~

~~~At Domino Park~~~

Yuugi sneaks out of the house, and I sneakily follow him, using my magic to keep me invisible. He meets up with Risa. She holds out something. "Ummm…here. They're hand-knit socks. Please wear them if you'd like."

"Umm…" Yuugi looks down with a blush on his face. "I don't think I can take them. I don't know anything about you, for one thing." Risa places the socks against her chest. Yuugi looks at her. "Risa-chan, why did you send me a letter?"

"Yuugi-kun's home is a game shop, right?" She walks forward slightly. "I saw you there, Yuugi-kun…and…and…" She turns and looks at him with a slight blush on her face. "…fell in love with you." She smiles.

Yuugi looks at her with wide eyes and a blush on his face.

Risa lowers her head. "But…I'm bothering you, aren't I? Someone like me…" She turns away. "I'm sorry."

"That's not so!" Yuugi shouts. He lets out a soft gasp and lowers his head. "Risa-chan is very pretty."

Risa rushes back to Yuugi with an eager look on her face. "Really? Then, can we meet again?"

Yuugi lets out a faint sound of agreement. Risa grabs Yuugi's hands and places the socks in them. "I'm so happy!"

~~~At School~~~

I quickly head to school and get there before Yuugi does. When Yuugi enters the classroom, Honda, Jounouchi, and Miho ask about Risa.

"What?" Honda points at Yuugi. "You haven't seen that girl since then?"

Yuugi nods his head, arm behind his head. "Yeah."

"What a waste!"

"I guess I was dumped," Yuugi says sheepishly.

"Too bad," Miho says with a pout.

Honda turns his head to the side and crosses his arms. "Well, that happens."

"Miho was cheering for you, too." Miho comments.

Yuugi looks at Anzu. Anzu looks back briefly before looking away, an annoyed look on her face. I let out a soft chuckle as Yuugi looked at the socks he placed inside his desk.

With school over, we walk out together. "On the next day off, let's go somewhere if the weather is good." Jounouchi offers.

"Where to?" I query.

"Miho wants to go to Hawaii!" Miho exclaims happily.

I hear Yuugi gasp, and I see Risa hiding behind a tree out of my eye. Yuugi blushes before looking at the others. "I just remembered some urgent business."

Honda lifts a hand as he turns his head to look at Yuugi. "Oh. Then, see you later, Yuugi."

"Bye-bye!" Yuugi calls out as he runs towards Risa.

I see Anzu stop and look, and her eyes widen when she sees Risa. I let out a sigh before heading home.

~~~3rd POV~~~

~~~Domino Park~~~

As Yuugi and Risa exit the park, a car stops, and the window opens. It is Kaiba. "Yuugi…" Kaiba gets out of his car. "That woman…There's no doubt about it."

Anzu gets changed into a white top and shorts with a blue rim, and she walks down the street. "Looks like I'm going to have to say it straight out. Yuugi, that guy has always been wishy-washy!"

The image of Risa appears in her mind. "It's no good for him to stick with that woman."

She enters the shop and heads to Yuugi's and Isis's Grandfather. "Sick? Yuugi is?"

"Well, it's not that bad." He states.

"Then, I'll go visit him," Anzu comments as she turns and walks off.

Their Grandfather holds out an arm. "Ah, Anzu-chan!"

Anzu opens the door and walks through it, closing it behind her. "Excuse me."

He turns around. "I'm not responsible."

Anzu rushes up the stairs and opens Yuugi's bedroom door with a smile. "Yuugi, how are you?"

~~~Isis's POV~~~

I sense Anzu's presence from downstairs. I look in front of me and let out a sigh. This is going to be slightly awkward.

The door opens, and Anzu is standing there. She loses her smile when she sees Risa kneeling at the side of Yuugi's bed.

Risa looks at her. "Hello!"

"You. Why are you here?" Anzu demands.

"Please be quiet." Risa scolds. She pats Yuugi's forehead with a cloth. "Right now, he just fell asleep."

Anzu looks at her with wide eyes.

Risa rummages around. "This house doesn't seem to have any cold medicine."

"That's no good! I'll go buy some!" Anzu offers.

"Wait, Anzu!" I call out.

It is too late. Anzu rushes out of the house. I watch with narrowed eyes as Risa heads out, returns with a guest, takes out medicine, and gives it to Yuugi. Yuugi's bedroom door opens, and Anzu stands there, medicine in her hand. "I'm back! Yuugi, medicine." Anzu lets out a faint gasp when she sees Yuugi already had medicine.

Yuugi gives the cup to Risa and looks at Anzu. "Ah, Anzu."

"I already brought medicine," Risa states.

Anzu looks at her. "When did you…?" She looks up and gasps when she finally notices Jounouchi sitting at Yuugi's desk.

Jounouchi lifts his hand with a smile on his face. "I just met her there. I heard Yuugi was sick."

"I'm fine," Yuugi comments as Risa touches his forehead. "It's not that bad."

Risa removes her hand and sits down. "I heard you were Yuugi-kun's friend." Anzu walks over. Risa looks down. "Oh. Out of ice."

"I'll go buy some." Anzu offers. She rushes out of the house. I let out a sigh. Risa does the same and comes back with another guest. It isn't long before Anzu makes it back. "Sorry to keep you waiting." She lets out a faint gasp.

Risa is placing a cloth in water with the ice. "I already brought ice." Risa places the cold cloth on Yuugi's forehead.

"Anzu, just sit down and rest," Yuugi says.

"Just leave it to Risa-chan, and it'll be okay." Jounouchi comments.

Honda moves over. "Yo!"

"Wh-why are you here too?" Anzu demands angrily.

Honda looks away with a blush on his face. "Well, I just happened to run into Risa-chan. She said the ice was heavy, so as a beautification member…" Honda trails off.

"…he carried it for me." Risa finishes.

"Yes, yes!" Honda agrees happily. "And Yuugi is sick! As his best friend, I can't just ignore that."

"That's not the only reason the pair of you are here," I comment, looking at them blankly.

The pair of them share a look before laughing.

I shake my head and let out a sigh. "Honestly, you two."

Anzu ignores them and takes a step forward. "Yes, Yuugi. You like mandarins, right?" Yuugi nods his head. Anzu places a hand on her chest. "Just wait. I'll buy some really tasty ones. Catch, beautification member." Anzu throws the ice toward him before rushing out of the room.

Honda catches the bag. "Why's she so rushed?"

"Don't know," Jounouchi replies, confused.

I look at Risa and narrow my eyes. What is she up to?

It isn't long before Anzu storms into the room with an angry look. "Hey! What are you trying to do?"

"What?" Honda says, confused.

"What's wrong, Anzu?" Jounouchi questions.

Anzu looks at Risa. "That woman pushed me down the supermarket's escalator!"

"Me?"

Anzu points at her. "Don't pretend you don't know!"

"What are you saying?" Jounouchi starts.

"Risa-chan has been with us the whole time." Honda finishes.

Anzu looks at them with wide eyes. "That can't be…" Anzu look at Yuugi and me. "Is that true, Yuugi? Isis?"

Yuugi lets out a sound of agreement.

I nod my head. "She was."

"Don't worry about it." Risa looks slightly at Anzu. "I have a face that you can see anywhere."

I narrow my eyes at Risa. Face you can see anywhere…it can't be…?

"More importantly, are you hurt, Anzu?" I query.

Anzu shakes her head. "But!"

Risa stands up. "I'm going home now."

Jounouchi looks at her. "Already?"

"Can't you stay a bit more?" Honda questions.

I let out a sigh. "This isn't your house, remember? And Yuugi needs to rest."

The pair of them look at me sheepishly.

Risa looks down at Yuugi hesitantly. "Yuugi-kun, I have a favor to ask. Umm…this may be brazen of me, but…Can I have something of Yuugi's…to always have on me?"

"Ah, but…" Yuugi trails off.

Risa turns her head to the side and points to Yuugi's desk. "What's that?"

Yuugi looks to see she is pointing at his Duel Monster Cards. "Ah, that. Its cards used in the game Duel Monsters."

"There are so many types!" Risa says in amazement, which sounds fake to me. She sees the Violet Hecate card. She lets out a gasp and picks it up. "This is pretty. What a nice card." She looks at Yuugi. "Can I have this to remember you?"

Yuugi looks at her before he takes the card and looks at it. "I'm sorry. That's the only one that's off-limits. Because it's something I received from someone important to me."

Anzu looks at Yuugi with wide eyes. I let out a soft chuckle and looked at Anzu. Anzu blushes slightly before looking back at Yuugi.

Yuugi looks away from the card and looks at Risa. "But…you can have any of the others."

Risa stands up. "No. Never mind." She walks towards the door and stops. "See you again. Goodbye." She walks out, closing the door behind her.

Jounouchi lets out a sigh and looks at Yuugi. "You got Risa-chan angry."

Honda places his hands behind his head. "Not my fault."

I let out a sigh. "These cards belong to Yuugi. It's up to him if he gives any away."

Anzu steps forward, fists clenched and a scowl on her face. "Well, you guys were completely seduced. How unsightly."

I nod my head and look at Honda slyly. "I wonder what Miho will think when she finds out how you were acting."

Honda goes pale and falls to his knees.

I let out a soft chuckle before looking at Yuugi.

Yuugi clenches his hand slightly around his card. "I'm sorry. Risa-chan."

Anzu, Jounouchi, and Honda stay until the sun begins to set. Yuugi gets out of bed, and we all head outside.

"Later, Yuugi, Isis." Jounouchi says.

"See you all tomorrow," I reply with a soft chuckle.

"Everyone. Thanks for today." Yuugi says happily.

"See you in school tomorrow," Honda says. Yuugi lets out a sound of agreement. "But…don't overdo it, okay?"

"It's important to recover from a cold." Jounouchi points out.

Anzu abruptly turns around and glares at Yuugi, her fists clenched. "Enough! Hurry back and sleep!"

"I'm fine. My temperature's gone down." Yuugi starts.

Anzu cuts him off. She points to our shop. "No!"

Yuugi jumps in surprise. "I get it."

"What a handful!" Anzu scolds.

"Just like an overprotective wife," Honda whispers to Jounouchi.

Yuugi starts to head back inside. I watch as Anzu turns to look at Honda and Jounouchi with her arms folded across her chest. "Did you say something?"

The boys backed away slightly in surprise, sweatdropping. "Nothing!"

Yuugi stops near the door. "Anzu." He turns his head to look at her. "Thanks for today." He heads inside.

I let out a chuckle before following after him. We get to the stairs when we hear a sound coming from upstairs.

"What's that sound, Isis-nee?" Yuugi questions.

I shake my head. "I don't know. Stay quiet, and we'll sneak upstairs and see."

Yuugi nods his head. We quietly sneak upstairs and share a look when we hear the sound coming from Yuugi's bedroom. Yuugi opens his door and turns on his light. "Who's there?"

The figure turns to show it is Risa. Her eyes are dull, and her hair is sticking up. "Where is it?"

"Risa-chan?" Yuugi exclaims, surprised.

"I knew it. You were after something." I state with narrowed eyes.

"The Violet Hekate card!" Risa demands. Yuugi lets out a gasp and places a hand on his chest. "There?" Risa lunges forward and grabs hold of Yuugi. "Hand the card over!"

"I can't! just not this!" Yuugi denies.

I narrow my eyes and move forward. I grab her hand and throw her backwards. I catch Yuugi before he falls to the ground. I narrow my eyes when she stands up. She throws something in annoyance, causing the window to shatter.

"Hand it over! The Violet Hekate card!

I hear footsteps rushing up the stairs. Anzu, Jounouchi, and Honda appear at Yuugi's bedroom door.

"Yuugi!" Anzu calls out. She sees Risa and lets out a gasp. "You!"

"What?" "What is going on?" Honda and Jounouchi exclaim, surprised at the same time.

While she was distracted, Yuugi grabbed his millennium puzzle and swung it. She backs away. I help Yuugi up, and we move over to the others.

Risa looks at us with a glare on her face.

"I see. You were after that card from the beginning!" Anzu says angrily.

"I can't believe it…" Yuugi trails off in disbelief. He takes a step forward. "Tell me that's not true, Risa-chan."

Risa suddenly takes out a whip. We move out of the way as she releases it. "Quick! This way!" I order.

"Stop!" She calls out.

We ignore her, run down the stairs, and only stop when we reach the bottom.

Honda wipes his forehead. "What a surprise!"

Jounouchi breathes heavily as he leans back against the stairs. "That's Risa-chan?"

Honda opens the door. "At any rate, get outside!" Honda steps forward but moves back when Risa jumps down and lands in front of him. "When did she…?" He quickly closes the door and leans back against it, his face pale. "Now!"

"Hurry!" Anzu orders as we run the other way. Anzu opens the door before her eyes widen in surprise when Risa jumps down. "What's going on?"

Jounouchi runs forward and holds her against the fence. "Bitch!" He turns to look at us. "Run! Anzu! Yuugi! Isis!"

We share a look, nod our heads, and run in the other direction. I hear footsteps and turn to see Risa running behind us. Anzu looks to the side, and her eyes widen. "Twins?"

I look to the other side. "Not twins…Triplets."

We come to a stop. "It can't be!"

They surround us. I hear faint movement. I see the whip heading towards Yuugi out of my eye. I grabbed it before it could reach him. I narrow my eyes, pull the whip from the middle triplets' hands and throw it to the side.

The middle one speaks up. "Wanna duel us? With Violet Hekate at stake?"

Yuugi lets out a gasp and places a hand on his chest.

"Yuugi…" Anzu mutters as she looks down at him.

Yuugi looks up. "Have to…Have to do it."

We follow them to an old, abandoned house. They set up the game. "Life points are 2000, as you know. The winner gets the Violet Hekate card." One states.

"I brought your cards," Risa states. "Don't worry. We don't play tricks on our opponent's cards."

Yuugi looks at his cards with a worried look on his face. "Just what should I do?"

"Your turn." The one on the right states.

"What's wrong? Hurry!" The one on the left orders.

Yuugi places down his card. "Sleeping Worm!" He turns his card to the side. "I will use this card with high defence points as a wall."

The one on the right lets out a scoff. "Defending from the beginning, how weak."

"Then I…Red Hekate!" Risa places down her card.

Yuugi lets out a gasp. "One of the three witch sisters' cards just like Violet Hekate! I can't believe you have such as rare card!"

"This is why you were after Violet Hekate," I comment with narrowed eyes.

The hologram of Red Hekate appears. She releases fire, destroying Yuugi's Sleeping Worm. Anzu and Yuugi let out a surprised gasp.

"What was that just now?" Anzu questions.

"It has a small machine installed. It creates illusions of the card." Risa states with a smirk.

Yuugi snaps out of his shock and looks down at his cards. "My next card is…Clock card. Now under time's influence…Sleeping Worm is revived. And it grows into 1700 attack point Iron Beetle."

Risa lets out a scoff. "How cheeky." She throws down her next card. "Yellow Hekate!"

"It can't be! Two mystical witch cards?" Yuugi exclaims, surprised.

"It makes sense they would want all three sisters," I add when I see both cards.

"Red Hekate and Yellow Hekate are sisters." The one on the left starts.

"When the two are together, their powers are multiplied." The one on the right adds.

"Iron Beetle is no match!" Risa finishes.

Fire surrounds Iron Beetle, and he is destroyed. Yuugi holds out a hand before he sways to the side. "It's no use…"

Anzu catches him. "Yuugi, are you okay?"

I place my hand on Yuugi's forehead. "His temperature has risen again."

The one on the left starts laughing. "The duel is as good as over."

The one on the right stands up. "At last, the three witch sisters will be together."

"When shall it be?" Risa queries. "That we three can be seen again.

"Calm the disturbance."

"Winning and losing battle."

"And then…" Risa starts but is cut off.

"Then…" A male says as I hear footsteps. "…let's finish this before sunset."

"What?" They exclaim, surprised.

"Lines from Macbeth's three witches? It truly fits you." The figure comes out of the shadows to show that it is Kaiba. "Kageyama, three sisters."

"Kaiba-kun!" Yuugi exclaims, surprised.

Kaiba looks at Yuugi. "Yuugi. These three sisters are famous in the Duel Monsters world. They will use any method for obtaining cards they want."

"Kaiba!" Risa calls out.

Kaiba walks over to Yuugi. "Well. Why not let me take over for this duel?" He stops next to Yuugi.

"You?" Risa queries.

"If you win, you can have all my cards." Kaiba offers. He places a large case on the table. "And…I'll give you an advantage. The Violet Hekate card…will be added to your deck."

The three sisters laugh.

Yuugi gets out of his seat, and Kaiba sits down. "This is a favourable situation, right?"

"Okay." Risa agrees. "You better not regret this."

"Duel." Kaiba looks at his cards. "First Cyclops. Attack points 1200."

"Fool. It's no match for Hekate!" Risa taunts.

The Cyclops is destroyed.

"First, we defeat Kaiba…then we three sisters will stand on the top of the Duel Monsters world!" Risa comments smugly.

"We'll see about that. Next…" Kaiba takes his next card. "Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Attack power 3000. Duel Monster's most powerful card."

"Th-this is the rumoured…" The one on the right starts.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon?" The one on the left finishes.

Risa sits down. "But we have a trump card!" She holds up a card. "Violet Hekate. When the three witches combine…the legendary Gorgon is born. And her attack power is…the same as Blue-Eyes White Dragon's! But this is a forest field. It raises the witches' power. Even if they strike each other down, Gorgon will not die."

A smirk appears on Kaiba's face as he reaches for his next card. He picks up the next card, and I see his eyes narrow. He holds the card up. "Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

"What?" Risa exclaims, surprised.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon…" The one on the right starts.

…two of them?" The one on the left finishes.

Yuugi lets out a gasp. The hologram shows the two Blue-Eyes White Dragons defeating the Gorgon. "He did it!" Yuugi cheers.

"We lost…" Risa trails off in disbelief.

"It can't be!" The one on the right denies it.

"The three Hekate sisters…" The one on the left trails off.

Yuugi looks at Kaiba with a confused look on his face. "Kaiba-kun…but why?"

Kaiba stands up. "You are a man who should not lose to these types." He walks off.

"Kaiba-kun," Yuugi calls out as he stands up and gazes at Kaiba's back.

"Don't forget." Kaiba stops. "The one to defeat you…has to be me." He laughs as he walks off.

I let out a sigh and shook my head. "Another one that isn't honest with his feelings." I look at Yuugi. "Let's head back home. You need to get back into bed and rest. No arguing."

Yuugi looks at me with a pout on his face. "Alright, Isis-nee."

Yuugi takes back his Violet Hekate card, and we head back to the shop. Anzu heads back home. Yuugi and I head inside, and we head straight to bed.
