It had been a few days since the bombing at Planned Parenthood. Kim had been surprised by how supportive the team was after the case and after finding out the truth. They knew it was hard to hear first the couple but seemed like it didn't phase them. The couple was getting ready for the day. It was Kim's first speaking engagement in years but it was a cause near and dear to Kim's heart. The whole team was going to the seminar so the couple was taking Gunner to the district to hang out with Platt for the day. It was a good arrangement for everyone. For Kim and Adam they knew he was well taken care of and for Platt well he was a love and loved attention from everyone. The couple showered together quickly before Adam got ready while Kim worked on her hair and make up. She needed to dress a bit different for the event, more professional so it took longer.
Adam headed out to the kids room seeing them still in bed but awake and talking softly. Gunner in the room facing the door. "Good morning kids!" Adam smiled seeing them jump up for hugs. "Adam!" They wanted hugs right away. "Let's get you kiddos to the bathroom okay?" He hugged each one placing them down so they could run to the bathroom. He found both kids using the bathroom when he entered. He helped them wash their hands before they headed back to their room. They were already picking out their clothes when Adam stepped back in the room. He helped them change throwing their dirty clothes in the hamper before they left the room. The dog following close behind them. Adam let the dog out before starting breakfast for the kids. He was surprised when he saw the dog back in the house. He looked over to see the kids had opened the door. He knew they needed safety locks now. They were tall enough to reach the door handles.
Oatmeal, fruit and turkey bacon were served with milk before he started breakfast for him and Kim. Kim had entered the room looking good enough to be headed to court. "Looking good darling! Can you feed Gunner please?" He asked as he was busy cooking. "Of course!" She fed the dog quickly before heading to the kids. "Good morning my babies! Did you sleep well?" Kim asked. "Yes!" Milo piped up as he continued to eat. "Well that's good. Tomorrow we are still going to look at new beds right?" Kim wanted to double check. "Yes please!" Mia asked really wanted a softer space to sleep. "Okay well we will make that happen." Kim stated as Adam handed her her breakfast. "Thanks baby!" Kim started to eat knowing she needed to rush a bit this morning. Adam joined them eating along side his family. The kids chatted away as they all ate breakfast together. It was a great way to spend the morning.
After breakfast Kim made lunches for the kids before they all headed out for the day. They took two separate cars so Adam could drop off the dog and Kim could drop off the kids and head right to the seminar venue. She was nervous but also excited to teach and help spread the word. The kids had been excited to get to school for the day. Once the kids were dropped off Kim headed right to the venue to get set up and get the microphone set up. The did some testing to make sure it was working properly. She waited back stage as the attendees arrived. She knew Adam was there already because he sent a text message letting her know they were all there. She did take a Quick look seeing the room filling up. She was thrilled though she was unsure if they all came voluntarily or if they were forced but she didn't care. She hoped they learned something anyway that they could use down the line.
It was time to take the stage and Kim was nervous but put that aside. It was like riding a bike, she could do this. As she walked out on to the stage she saw her team right away. "Good Morning! Wow I'm so excited to see so many people here to learn! This is awesome!" Kim was humbled. "So thank you all for coming out this morning. For those who don't know I'm Detective Kimberly Burgess. I'm currently working in the Intelligence Unit here in Chicago but spent the 5 years before that working in the Special Victims Unit in Queens New York." She paused watching the slide appear. "So I know you have all been to a seminar recently that talked about the statistics of sex crimes and while that is helpful this will be the nitty gritty about all things sex crimes. More in depth courses will be offered so keep that in mind. I will also take questions at the end so please take notes. Are we ready to start?" Kim asked looking out over the crowd.
"Alright let's do this!" Kim started to speak passionately as she moved across the stage. Going through all the talking points more in depth trying to give as much explanation as possible without boring everyone. She also tried not to focus on the crowd as she spoke. It was a distraction especially if she saw Adam. She spoke for almost 90 minutes before letting them take a break. It was only 15 minutes but it was a break. She jumped down off the stage seeing Adam walking towards her. "Hey baby!" Kim said quietly. "Hey darling! So good so far. Very educational. I don't think we realized how vast the types of crimes were that SVU covered. Insane and sad." He wrapped his arm around her shoulders. As the rest of the team moved closer.
"Hey guys! What did you think so far?" Kim asked nervously. "Totally bad ass! I never knew the Sex Crimes as a whole division of Cyber Crimes. That's insane!" Kevin was shocked. "Right? It's really because of child porn that gets sent all over the world. But also pervs that sell children on the black market. So yeah insane." Kim had explained a bit further. "Adams right the fire in your eyes talking about it is electric." Jay was impressed. "How are you holding up Erin?" Kim knew she had to start getting uncomfortable. "Okay ish. My lower back is killing me. But otherwise doing good. Excited for the next check up." Jay hugged her knowing it was hard having her body changing. "Look it up online but you can use KT tape to help hold the belly up some. Might help you some." Kim knew it helped her but not everyone had the same experience. "Thanks I will look that up for sure. I will try anything." Erin leaned back into Jay who was rubbing her back.
"Alright I'm heading back up on stage. See you afterwards." Kim headed to the stairs and back up on the stage as she watched the venue fill up again. Once she was sure everyone was back she got back to work. "Alright hope everyone had a good break. So let's get into the second half." Kim commented as she started speaking again. She moved across the stage again, talking animatedly about certain topics. She knew a lot of this information was new information to most officers. And this was how you opened the eyes of people who have been hidden from sex crimes. She knew some of these people were patrol officers who literally never dealt with a rape victim. So this was exactly why Kim did this. She lived for this. The time passed quick for her but she knew she was actually running out of time.
"Alright we have come to the question portion of our seminar. Who has a question for me?" Kim looked around seeing a few people raising their hands. The organizers would go around to each person to have their questions ask aloud. "Why did you choose to work in SVU?" An officer asked. "Fair question, thank you. So I chose to go into SVU because I felt like it was the unit I could make the biggest difference in. Being a very big advocate of woman's rights but also protecting woman this was the unit that best suit my needs. Helping victims to get justice keeps me going everyday. Helping victims see themselves as survivors keeps me going everyday. Saving a victim who has thought about ending it all keeps me going." Kim nodded she was done before pointing towards another question.
"What scares you the most about SVU?" An officer asked. "Um well everything, it's ever changing. There is always some new way to victimize people. And let's be real there is war on woman's rights right now. This actually causing more issues and creates more victims on a daily basis. But very simply I more scared in a room with a rapist than a man holding a gun pointed at me." Kim nodded knowing that was her truth. "Did you grow up around police officers?" She smiled almost smirking. "No. I'm the first cop in our family. Um I am the polar opposite of my family. Fighting the good fight was not a thing in our home. I was raised to see the worst in everyone. Only heard the negative about people and places. I was raised to not trust people who didn't look like me. And was told to hate those who are different from me. But I couldn't live that life if I tried." It was the hard, sad truth.
"Why did you leave SVU if you feel so strongly about it?" Kim looked towards Adam for strength. "Well I would have preferred to stay in SVU if they one here. I moved to Chicago to start over again after the divorce from my then husband. But staying in New York in Queens wasn't an option. My family needed a fresh start and Chicago offered me almost everything I needed." Kim didn't want to give away the whole story. "One last question as I'm out of time already." Kim smiled knowing this was almost over. "Are you a victim of sexual assault?" Kim heard the whole crowd gasp. Kim looked towards Adam who was being held down. "So while I understand this is a seminar about sex crimes I'm not sure it's appropriate to answer that question let alone ask it. That's extremely private. With that said. I hope you all learned something today. And I hope to see you all at another seminar. Thank you again for coming today." Kim waved as she headed off the stage.
The microphone was removed right away as her hands started to shake. She took several deep calming breaths. They brought her a chair to rest in while she tried to calm down. It wasn't much longer till Adam was with her kneeling in front of her. "Are you okay?" He asked holding her hands feeling them shake. "Yeah I guess. I just wasn't excepting that many personal questions. And someone asking if I was a victim just hit me hard." Kim hadn't even realized the whole team was there behind her. "It was uncalled for. That should never have been asked. I'm sorry that happened to you today. Do you think you are okay enough to leave?" He wasn't sure how she was feeling at the moment. "I mean I meant to leave. But I'm not sure I can drive like this. I feel a bit battered." Kim was shaking still. "That's fine. You can ride with me and Erin or Jay can drive your car back. That's easy." He assured her taking g her keys and handing them to Halstead. "Yeah I don't mind driving your car. Especially since Erin never lets me drive. So I'm excited." Jay laughed as Erin smacked him.
"Come on let's get you out of here. Should we stop to get some food on the way?" He hoped she was hungry but had the feeling she wasn't. "Well no matter what I say you are going to tell me that I need to eat so why fight it." Kim half laughed knowing how true to was. "Absolutely correct! So let's get you some food on the way to the district." He held out his hand for her to take hoping she would not need to carried but she was pretty zoned out. He is trade wrapped his arm around her shoulders leading her to his car. They watched Jay jump in Kim's car to head back as well. "Next time I'm saying no personal questions." Kim sighed. "Well really it should have been expected that the questioned pertained to SVU. Not your personal life. Total bull shit. I'm sure Voight will figure out who it was and reem them out." He saw her sink a bit. It was completely unprofessional of anyone to ask that question especially in such a large group of people. But some people had no class.
She was so zoned out as they hit the drive thru he just ordered for her. He knew it was a guilty pleasure of hers to eat at Popeyes so he figured today was a good time in indulge. As they waited for the food he held her hand rubbing his thumb over her knuckles. He knew it wouldn't fix anything but it was a small comfort. Anything to make her feel slightly better he would do happily. He placed the food in her lap and the cups in the holder as he started to drive again. He watched her start to open the boxes looking for hers. He smiled smugly knowing how to get her to eat even when she was sad. He saw her eat a bit before he spoke up. "Are you feeling better now?" He asked already knowing the answer. "Somewhat. Thank you for indulging my junk food side." She smiled munching on the fries. "Well you have to eat. Sad or not. You have to eat." He let her just enjoy her food at that point. He knew she was lost in her own head at that point so he let her be.
When they arrived at the district the team was already settled in working. They headed in food and drinks in hand. As the hit the lobby they noticed their dog was gone. "He's upstairs already." Platt already knew Kim was looking for him. "Thanks for watching him." She smiled and headed up the stairs. She found him waiting for her at the top of the stairs again. "Hey my buddy! I missed you." Kim petted his head and went to her desk. He followed her close by. "No fast food for you buddy. Sorry." They all laughed as he huffed and laid down next to her. They had gotten him a bed which they kept next to Kim's desk but the team often moved it if Kim was out so he was comfortable next to Erin. He loved protecting the ladies.
"Before I forget here your key fob back Kim." Jay tossed it to Kim. "Thanks did you enjoy driving?" She laughed putting her key away. "Yeah I got to admit it drives nice and I never expected it to be that nice considering it's a granny brand." He laughed at her. "Really? Please my Volvo could kick your trucks ass any day. You want to race someday?" Kim asked slightly annoyed at him. "Bring it on." Jay laughed as did the team getting in on there game. "Probably not fair to you because I've driven a race car but sure let's do it!" Kim laughed knowing she had the upper hand. "Wait? Really?" Jay was shocked. "Yup! It's not that hard." Kim laughed munching on her fries. "Where did you learn?" Antonio asked jumping into the conversation. "Pocono Raceway. It's like 400 for the class then you get 8 laps on the track in a race car. I have video." Kim pulled out her phone and found the video allowing everyone to see it.
"Crazy cool. Need to add that to my list of things to do." Jay laughed but most of the team agreed. "I promise to make that happen Adam. I promise!" Kim smiled widely. "Thanks darling." Adam handed the phone back. "Now back to my car. It's crazy smooth, crazy quiet and drives fast as hell. Plus it's super safe and they last forever. So maybe you should actually think about it." Kim stated as she returned to her desk. "Maybe are they expensive?" Jay had no clue. "I got mine used fully loaded for 30,000. Brand new it was like 55,000. Not terrible considering. Also I took one on vacation a few years back and it was a 9 hour car ride and it was completely comfortable. So that said a lot to me about how it was built." She explained. "Definitely looking in to it. Has lots of space for the baby. And safe for the baby too." Jay started looking into it right away.
"Any other cool things you've done?" Adam asked sitting close to her. "Yeah parasailing, hand gliding, waver runners, paddle boarding. Living on the east coast is cool. Not gonna lie about that. But I'm happy here. Probably because you are here but I'm happy. Just means we need to travel so you can experience it too." She watched him smile to that. "Sounds good to me! I don't travel much so I'm down for it." He was excited to plan a trip together. "Maybe next month we can take a trip. Even if it's not a full week." Kim suggested. "Yeah I'm down for that. Where should we go?" He asked unsure where she wanted to go. "Maybe Wilmington NC. Super small town, right on the water, lots of water sports." Kim suggested. "We should look into it. Sounds perfect." Adam hadn't heard of it so he wanted to check it out.
The team finished up their paperwork and headed out for the day. "We still have a bit before picking up the kids. Should we head to the stables? Or you want to head home?" He asked as they walked close to each other. "Maybe home since we have the dog. Not sure how he would do at the stables." Kim shrugged unsure. "Well you love to ride and I enjoyed it too. So let's go to the stables and I'm sure Gunner will behave. It's a good dog." Adam wanted her to be happy and comfortable. Giving up something she likes because of the dog doesn't seem right. "Okay let's try it." Kim hugged Adam as they got into separate cars to head to the stables.
At the stables Kim got out waiting for Adam to arrive. As soon as he arrived he jumped out before getting the dog out who ran over to Kim. He was happy to walk with her to the stables. Adam was on her side holding her close. "Okay Gunner I need you to behave so we can ride for a bit okay?" Kim asked like he understood. He barked but it was low. "Okay let's try this." Kim was very nervous not wanting to get hurt but also didn't want Gunner to get hurt. Adam hugged her tight hoping this would all work out. This was a safe place for Kim and he didn't want her to think she's can't come here because of the dog. They entered the stables looking around to see what horses were available. Kim was thrilled to ride Black Jack and Adam got who ever.
"Matthew would you mind watching Gunner while we ride? I'm not sure how he would do in the ring." Kim petting their dog loving how calm he was. "Yeah not a problem. Not the first K9 we had here." The horses were set up and the couple started to ride. Matthew kept Gunner close so he could watch his owners ride. He knew K9 dogs got protective and nervous when their owners were away so this was helpful. Half way through the ride Gunner was taken in the stables to rest since he was doing well. He never barked, never whined, just obeyed. Everyone was pleased with his behavior. Adam jumped off earlier than Kim since he was still new to it and he was sore already. He brought his horse back to its stall. He helped to take off the saddle and bridal before brushing the horse some. He was still very new to this but he was trying to learn. It was actually relaxing for him even if he wasn't fully comfortable yet.
He was still grooming his horse when Kim rode in. She looked happy and at peace. Kim got down from her horse leading him into his stall. "Okay my bestie! Let's get you free and groomed some okay?" Kim petted the horse on the nose. He nuzzled her face lovingly all the attention. Adam was close now with Gunner in tow. He loved watching her with animals and children. It was pure love shining. Once she finished grooming Jack she offered a few treats before they headed out. They needed to get the kids so they needed to get moving. "You ready to get the kids?" She asked looking at him lovingly. "Yeah of course. I love spending time with the kids and really I just love them. So let's go get the kids." He leaned it to kiss her softly before heading to the car.
They drove both cars to the school to pick up the kids. The couple headed to the school with their dog. They would never leave him in the car. They both noticed Gunner whining. He didn't do that. "What's up buddy?" Adam took the lead trying to figure out what was going on. He started to walk so Adam followed him. The line of parents waiting for their kids was long but Gunner was still walking looking around still whining a bit. Adam noticed a text from Kim letting him know she thinks Gunner is drug sniffing mode. Adam was surprised but shouldn't have been. They stopped walking as Gunner found this target. He walked right over sniffing the woman's pocket. He then barked letting Adam know he found his target. "Ma'am this here is a drug sniffing dog. And he seems to think you have drugs on you. Do you?" Adam asked showing her his badge. "Like I'm going to tell you. You have no right to ask me that." She snapped at him. "Well just so you know we have two officers coming this way. With the dog as probably cause to search your pockets. Good luck!" Adam smiled as the officers took over.
Adam walked back towards Kim seeing her smiling wide with the kids. "Looks like we need to make his official." Kim smiled as Adam bent down to hug both kids picking them up. "Hey kiddos! Did you have a great day?" Adam asked as she held them. "Yes! I was so much fun!" Mia yelled as Milo just nodded. "That's great! How about we head home and play outside for a bit?" He asked knowing the kids would love it. "Yes please!" Milo asked excitedly. "Alright let's head home now." Adam moved the kids to the car as Kim walked the dog to the car. After everyone was settled they all headed home for the night.
They arrived home Adam helped unload the kids from car and helped them into the house. "Okay let's move to the yard kiddos! Let's be loud outside!" Adam took the kids straight outside knowing the kids had tons of energy to burn. He took the dog with them do Kim could have some quiet time inside. Kim worked to clean out the lunch boxes and back packs before she started dinner for her family. She was smiling seeing the kids chasing Adam around the yard. They were all laughing she could see that. She paused watching them as she heard her phone ding. It was a new listing that fit their needs. She looked at it quickly before heading out to see Adam. "Hey babe! New house listing I think you will like." Kim handed him the phone as the kids now played with Gunner.
He looked through all the photos and read the description before responding. "I love this house Kim. We need to look at it this weekend. It's priced a little high but it's perfect so I think we could make it work. Especially with the yard being fenced in and a pool with a fence. It's great for the kids. Yeah let me text the agent now." He took a screenshot from her phone sending it to himself so he had the address. He texted their agent right away needing in this house asap. He got a message that they could view the house at 9am the next day. Adam was thrilled. He texted Kim so he could keep his eyes on the kids. "Awesome maybe we can get a sitter for a couple hours so we can have time to look at it?" Kim texted back. "Yeah how about I ask Kevin?" He offered unsure who she wanted to use. "That works. Both kids like him so that works." Kim was happy with that.
"Hey Kev. Would it be possible to watch the kids for a couple hours tomorrow morning? We have a house showing at 9am." Adam texted hoping his friend could help out. "Hey man! Yeah of course! I will be there at 8:30. Can't wait to hang out with my little homies!" Kevin was excited to watch the kids and helping out his friends. "Great! Thank you so much! See you tomorrow!" Adam was thrilled and knew the kids would be happy too. "Kiddos come here for a minute." Adam wanted to tell the kids the plans. They ran over laughing still. "Okay so tomorrow mom and I are going to go look at a bigger house for all of us to live in. So Kevin is going to come stay with you guys while we look at the house. Is that okay?" He asked the kids sitting on their level. "Yay Kevin! That's cool!" Milo was excited and Mia looked over the moon. "Awesome! I know he's excited to hang out with you guys too. Gunner will stay here too. You want head inside and let mom know the plan." Adam watched them run to the door. He let them inside and watched them run right over to Kim.
"Mom Kevin coming tomorrow!" Mia yelled excitedly. "That's great sweetheart! I can see you guys are excited." Kim was thrilled that Kevin was coming over but also the kids were excited about it. "Kiddos wash up. Dinner is almost ready!" Adam asked the kids as they ran to the sink to wash their hands. He set the table and got drinks for all of them. Kim plated dinner for the kids before making a plate for her and Adam. "This looks delicious Kim. Thank you for cooking dinner." He hugs her so thankful to be here with her. "You are so very welcome. And I happy it looks good. Hopefully it's tastes just as good." Kim held him tight for a second before letting go so they could eat. The kids were placed at the table so they could start eating. Kim and Adam joined them shortly after once the dog was taken care of. The family ate while the kids chattered away about hanging out with Kevin.
After dinner Adam cleaned up the dishes and loaded the dishwasher while Kim took the kids up to get baths. It was just easier than trying to do it in the morning. Adam could hear all the laughter going on upstairs. It made him incredibly happy. He hung out downstairs till he heard running and giggling. He knew what was happening without being up there. Milo was running around naked. He shook his head as moved up the stairs to catch the small child. Adam caught him easily bringing him back to their room. "Okay little dude you need clothes on. This nudist thing is going to have to stop soon. It's cute now but in another year that's just dangerous." Adam knew Milo didn't understand or care but they had been lucky it only happened at home and only after bath time. "Yeah let's hope he moves out of this phase soon." It was frustrating for her but as long as it only happened at home it was okay for now.
The small family returned downstairs after the kids were dressed for the night. The kids played a game till it was time to go to bed. The kids headed to bed around 8 with both adults behind them. The kids were tucked by Kim getting kisses and I love you's before she headed out. Adam followed up with kisses on their foreheads. He whispered I love you to each kid but was thrilled and surprised when they said it back. He cried happy tears as they headed out the room. "This is what I always wanted Kim. Thank you for giving me this!" He hugged her tight the couple crying together. They eventually made it back downstairs sitting on the couch holding on to each other.
"One day it will happen. I know that in my heart. It today was a big step for them." Kim whispered as they snuggled. "I know. But it was a beautiful moment. And I can't wait to hear it again. I really do love them Kim." He hugged her tighter just wanting to bask in the happiness. "I want this too. I know I've come a long way and I know I still have more things to work on but I'm getting there. Thanks to you. You are giving me this second chance at life. One where I'm not just living. I feel like I'm starting to thrive. The bad moments don't hold me down as long now. And that's all thanks to your support." Kim's lips were pressed against his neck as she spoke. She saw goosebumps breaking out all over. "No my darling. You did that for you and your kids. I just supported you. Allowed you to grow and change how you wanted. Seeing the real you shining bright once more. Your heart is healing, your soul is healing. It's been beautiful to watch." He felt her moving into his lap.
"What are you doing?" He asked smirking at her. "Nothing. Just getting comfy." Kim smirked right back. "Is that the story you are going with?" He laughed knowing it wasn't. "Sure. Why?" She laughed back playing along. "Well see you were speaking with your lips in my skin. Now you are sitting in my lap. I feel like you want to start something but you are playing with me too." He decided to just call her out on it. "Huh. See now I thought we were just cuddling. Huh." Kim shrugged nonchalantly. "Huh well I think you are full of it right now. So how about you just tell me what you really want." He saw her laughing which let him know he was right on the money. "I think we should play our own game. Upstairs, in our bedroom." She had fire in her eyes. A fire he normally only saw a work but that version of Kim was shining at home more often and here she was sitting his lap. Playing with him.
"Well I think we can handle that." He picked her up sitting her on his hip taking them to their bedroom. "So how far are you willing to take play time tonight?" He asked as they closed the bedroom door. "I don't know. I hadn't given it any thought. Just wanted time together intimately." Kim smiled with no real idea in mind. "Okay well I know you trust me. So can I have free rein to play?" He was curious how open she would be tonight. "Can I set boundaries?" She asked needing to set some ground roles. "Absolutely. But let me tell you things I won't do. Things that are my boundaries. No whips, no chains, no electricity, no choking, no threesomes, no swinging, no homosexual encounters, no penetration on my end. Now what did you want to add." He knew it was important to open and honest and he was proud of her for being open to the conversation.
"I think I have the same list. That's a good thing. So have at it." Kim smiled stepping back letting him do as he pleased. "Okay I promise not to hurt you. I promise you will enjoy it. And I promise this will be fun." He watched her nod as he moved towards her. He started by caressing her flanks his fingers moving towards her face. Holding her body close letting the tension grow. He heard her breath hitch as his fingers wrapped around the back of her head pulling her in for a very passionate kiss. He felt her hands grabbing onto his body. His hands moving to her pants. He unbuttoned them pushing them down quickly. She kicked them off her legs. He broke the kiss grabbing her shirts pulling them over her head throwing them across the room. She was left in nothing but her bra and panties. They weren't sexy but it showed off her body in all the right ways.
He lifted her quickly tossing her on the bed. She squealed in surprise but laughed as she bounced. He moved to the closet grabbing a few things before heading back towards her. He showed her the items he had gotten. One being his cuffs and one being a tie. He saw the fire on her eyes again. He smirked heading towards her. "Lay back, arms up." He watched her obey. He cuffed her to the bed loosely not to leave marks. "Good girl!" He covered her eyes next so she couldn't see what was coming. "Trust me, relax and enjoy." He whispered as he nipped down her neck. He could hear her moaning softly. His fingers running over her body lightly causing goosebumps. He kept nipping her skin as he moved south. He got to her breasts. While he couldn't remove her bra, he could move it out of his way.
Unhooking her bra and pushing it up over her elbows. With the mounds free he started to nip around the nipple. She was purring as she pulled on her cuffs. "Relax. You could hurt yourself." He bit on her erect nipple tugging on it. "Baby!" She groaned out. He moved to the other breast following the same movements. Her hips bucked, he was driving her mad. He pushed her hips back down moving to her abs. Licking and nipping, holding her hips down. His mouth moved further south. Removing her wet panties tossing them aside. He spread her lips licking and nipping at her core. He could feel her trembling, shaking under his grip. "Darling please let it go." He urged knowing she was so close. He fell asleep shortly after dreaming on the life ahead together.
