Loud House enter vermillion – chp 3 Odd Encounters
Lincoln and Lana were caught it in an odd stare down with the wolf however to their surprise the wolf didn't look threating in the slightest if anything it looked curious as it leaned its head to the side when it stared back.
Lincoln put his hand in front of Lana in an attempted to still protect her from the wolf in case it turned feral but Lana however wasn't paying attention to her brother's actions instead she was staring at the wolf specifically it eyes as Lana for brief moment felt a connection to the wolf as if it was communicating to it, Lana then processed to lowly walk to the wolf, pushing Lincoln's hand away, "LANA!, What are you doing? Stay away from it", Lincoln said with seriousness in his voice but it fell on deaf ears as Lana kept walking. As Lana kept walking, the wolf slowly approached her, causing Lincoln to get his guard up in case the situation got out of hand especially since the wolf and Lana were face to face at this point.
Lana and the stared at each other, their faces almost touching each other, however this changed as Lana put her hand out towards the wolf's face and in response the wolf looked at Lana with the intent to do something, suddenly the wolf made its move towards Lana, this caused Lincoln's brotherly instincts to act as he quickly ran to pick Lana up but was stopped when he saw what the wolf was doing as to his surprise it was rubbing it face against Lana's hand, " ahh.. I knew you weren't going to hurts us weren't you", Lana said as the wolf whined on delight, Lincoln still stunned by all of the walked towards the two and once he got close the wolf moved from Lana to Lincoln as it started to rub against him as well, "woah... never thought I'd meet a friendly wolf ", Lincoln said, " yeah I know right, granted we came looking for a big, scaly monster but this is way better!", Lana exclaim with excitement, " hey Lincoln you think we can keep him?", she said, "I don't think that's a good idea Lana, mum and dad wouldn't be too happy to find a wolf in our living room", Lincoln replied thinking about his parents reactions, "pleeeeeease!", Lana pleaded, " Lana!", Lincoln said with authority in his tone, " oh alright", Lana said as she stopped petting the wolf, smiled and turn to her brother and started walking away from the park while the wolf sat there staring at the both of them.

Vergil was tired, he had been running for what felt like hours, his breath raspy from the dashing, his legs worn from the spiritic movement, his head drenched in sweat of his own creation but above all else his mind was in a state of disarray, multiple thoughts bounced around his head, all of them revolved around his current situation. Vergil tried to process what he's been through and how he could fix it, "okay so this world doesn't have any magic or at the very least not enough to use my magic and go home", Vergil thought to himself, "not like I can go home with Lockjaw lurking around", Vergil exclaimed in this head as it just reminded him of recent encounter with the crocodile, "ugh!... if I knew we were going to end up here I would have never knocked him in the portal, now this world has to deal with him and it all my fault", Vergil thought to himself in dismay, "damnit!, what do I do, I can't even sense the dumb lizard, how can this get any wor!….", Vergil moment of panic was interrupted by a blunt pain at the back of his head, causing him to fall forward and hit the ground.

As Vergil was faced down in the dirt below him, a person ran up to him, "woah man, are you all right?", the person asked as she looked down at Vergil as she heard a groan come from him, "ahh… by the first, what did you hit me with a cannonball?", Vergil exclaimed as he got up slowly, his head still sore from the impact, " yeah I was just training match and ball kind of went flying", the person said, "well that didn't feel like any ball I've seen", Vergil said as he turn around to look at the person and standing before him was a brown ponytailed girl wearing a red and white jersey with a red number 1 on it along with red shorts and black cleats, "well I guess you couldn't handle the Lynnsanity", the girl said with pride, " Lynnsanity?", he said " yep that me Lynn sanity Loud or just Lynn Loud to most people", Lynn said as she did a small flex," well nice to meet ya Lynn, names Vergil, Vergil Vermillion", Vergil said as he pull out his hand to shake Lynn's hand but was surprised when it was meet with a strong grip, in response Vergil tighten his own grip, " not bad for a handshake, you train as well", she said, " oh yeah constantly, my master said that greatness starts with fitness so I train a lot, it also helps with my mind a lot", Vergil replied, " they sound wise", Lynn said, Vergil smiled in response, " yeah he is, he taught how to use my strength to help both myself and others, without him I properly just be wasting my strength", Vergil said reminiscing on his old training sessions, " oh yeah I know that feeling, it like you have all these skill and energy and don't want to waste it by doing nothing, almost like you were born to use it you know" ,Lynn said with excitement in her voice, upon hearing this Vergil looked up to the sky thinking about where his strength came from and what he does with it, " yeah I know, ", Vergil said in agreeance with Lynn, however that agreeance turned to sadness as Vergil truly started to think about the origins of his strength, this caused Vergil to quickly changed the subject before the sad feeling lingered any more than it should.
"So, Lynn you mentioned something about training?", he asked, "yeah what kind do you do", Lynn asked with curiosity, "oh nothing special, just normal stuff, stenches, lifting weights, trees, the usual stuff", he said "oh that cool, I pretty much do the same, a few stenches here and there, morning jog and the occasional…...", Lynn stopped as she replayed what Vergil said in her head, " did… did you say trees?", she said, Vergil upon hearing her question froze as he realised he messed up, " trees nah I said uhh… ease as in I lifted with ease", he said hoping Lynn would accept the answer, Lynn slowly moved her face closer to his causing Vergil to sweat a little, " hhhmm…. prove it", Lynn said, "what ", Vergil said with shock and confusion, "prove it ", she said as she turns to go get something leaving Vergil in a puzzled stated, she than returned dragging a bag that was clearly too heavy for her but she dragged it none the less.

Lynn opened the bag and pulled out a dumbbell and quickly dropped on the ground with a loud thud, "lift it", Lynn said as she showed signs of tiredness from lifting the bag," what", Vergil replied still confused, "that dumbbell weighs nearly 200 pounds, you said you can lift weights with ease right? then lift it ", Lynn said with a serious tone, Vergil looked at the dumbbell, debating whether or not to accept Lynn request, Vergil quickly looked at Lynn she had a serious look on a face making Vergil feel pressured to lift.
Vergil walked up to the dumbbell, bent down and placed his hand on it, he looked at Lynn who stared at him, Vergil looked back at the dumbbell and then furrowed his eyebrows as he grabbed it and lifted it into the air and held it in his hands, Lynn looks with surprise as even she struggled to lift the dumbbell yet before her stood Vergil hold it as if it was a balloon, "wooah… you weren't kidding" Lynn said still in shock, " told ya", Vergil said as he dropped the dumbbell with a thud, " dude , that was wicked it took me months of training to even lift that by a few inches and you just pick it up like it was paper", she said, " heh, it all in the shoulder", Vergil said as he moved his shoulder about, " Vergil you got to show me your workout, why don't you come over to my house and show me ?", Lynn said excitingly, Vergil taken aback by this didn't know what to do as he still had look for Lockjaw, " Lynn I.. ", Vergil said but paused as he thought about a way he could use this to advantage, he was tired, hungry and needed a better place to create a plan to stop Lockjaw and go home, " I would love to show you my training", Vergil said with a confirming smile, Lynn smiled and fist bumped the air, " heck yeah, this is going to be awesome", Lynn said as she went to her bag and tried to pick it up but slightly struggled due to the weight, Vergil saw this and went to pick up the bag instead, " let me take this for you", he said, " oh thanks", Lynn said as they walked to Lynn's house, on the way Lynn talked about the types of sports she plays and the exercises required for them and while Vergil listened to her at the back of his mind he kept thinking about his reason for being this world in the first place more importantly how he was going to stop it
