Tub Tips

Hermione and Ginny met when they both started working at the same strip joint.

Hermione had been working there first as the bartender. She had gone to school for it, but it was a wasted education most of the time as patrons tended to order simple things that anyone could have served. The exceptions were the house specialty drinks which were just fruit drowning in various liquors. She was sexy in her denim jeans and a tank top (usually with a penguin on it) that bared the brown skin of her midriff. She kept her curly locks contained with a sunflower bandana most nights, which earned her the nickname of Sunny.

Ginny was one of the strippers. With her bright orange locks and soulful brown eyes, she earned a lot of attention. She worked the pole like it was a lover about to leave for war and tended to make patrons whistle at her in excitement. Her appearance combined with that performance made her stage name of Flame Chaser even more apt. The bar had a strict no touching policy, but regulars knew that Ginny was particularly off the market. She and Hermione had been dating since a week after she had started working there and living together since a month after that.

One night, Hermione decided to challenge Ginny to a bet: whoever earned the most tips at the end of their shift would win. Hermione was incredibly competitive in general, but she absolutely loathed cleaning the bathtub at their flat. While Ginny didn't personally wear any body glitter, the stuff infested every inch of the bar.

Which meant that it also infested their bathtub!

The stuff really was the herpes of the cosmetic world.

At first, Ginny hesitated. As a dancer, she had a definite advantage over a bartender. Not to mention that Hermione had a way of getting snappish when patrons got too crass for her liking. That really cut down on the tips she got. So her sense of fairness felt off. Eventually, however, Ginny accepted the challenge. Not having to clean their bathtub for a month sounded like a dream.

At the end of the night, Hermione and Ginny tallied up their tips. Just like she had expected, Ginny had earned the most tips by a significant margin. Hermione grudgingly admitted defeat and promised to keep her word about the bathtub.

And if Hermione worked out her frustration in another way, well, that just left them both pleased (and needing to use the bathtub).
