Call of Black Blood
(^^)

The sunny morning on the old farm was just beginning, the sky a bright lapis blue, with not a cloud in sight. Teddy and Rose stepped out of the walled backyard of the Burrow. Teddy had a messenger bag with the strap cutting across his chest while Rose had on a poncho with rainbows on it. As they walked away from the safety of the yard, the world seemed to open up in front of them. The sound of birds chirping, the smell of wildflowers in the air, and the sight of a small pond just on the other side of the small orchard filled them with an excited anticipation.

They decided to explore the pond and took off their shoes, allowing their toes to sink into the cool, soft grass that lined the aisles of the orchard. The pond itself was surrounded by thick willow trees, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. As they made their way to the water's edge, the sun glinted on the surface of the pond, reflecting myriad shades of green and blue.

The two stood at the edge of the pond, both mesmerized by the beauty of their surroundings. After a few moments, Rose finally spoke up.

"Do you want to practice kissing?"

Teddy looked up at her, surprised by the suggestion. The two had grown up as first cousins, between Harry fulfilling his role as godfather and then marrying Ginny Weasley. But any blood connection was more like fourth or fifth cousin with a couple of removes. He still didn't know if it was a good idea, but something inside him said to go along with it. So he nodded and smiled.

They stepped closer to the pond and hesitantly leaned in towards each other. At first, their lips simply touched, but as they became more comfortable with the situation, their movements grew more passionate and intense. They explored each other's mouths, savoring the feeling of being close together.

Almost immediately, Rose took charge, driving Teddy back towards the trunk of a willow. She pressed her whole body against his. Something in her wanted nothing more than to rub all over him, like it would be a claim. She took his hands in hers and guided them under her shirt.

Teddy broke their kiss with a jerk.

"That's more than kissing," Teddy said, still gasping for breath. She reached for his face to guide his lips back to hers.

"Are you really complaining?" Rose asked before capturing his lips once more.

The two teenagers kept kissing, not wanting the moment to end. Their hands drifted over each other's bodies as they sought to learn what felt good with a partner who was safe. They stayed by the pond for what felt like hours, the sun shining down on them and the birds singing in the background.

Eventually, they made their way back to their grandmother's backyard, the two of them still in awe of the beauty of the pond and the sweet feelings they had experienced. They knew that this moment would stay with them for the rest of their lives.
