"It's okay guys, as I get you have trouble socialising. Let's go home, calm down then talk about it." Linda, Itsy and Shocket heard Rocket say. It was a few days later after rescuing them and Rocket knowing they loved playing with the baby raccoons so Rocket had decided to take them to the playgroubd which had been a mistake as they didn't know to be kids or hang out with other kids especially Shocket so had claimed dominion over the playground, bullying the other kids and using Helen, her bazooka to scare them which bothered and impressed Rocket deciding they should go relieving the other kids but also the parents saying they shouldn't be allowed near other kids, more so Shocket than Linda and Itsy making Rocket want to say something but bit his tongue which Nebula noticed and impressed by.
At home, Itsy, Linda and Shocket had turned the bed into a fort havibg snacks as Rocket was walking in after Nebula had taljed to him after what had happened ringing the imaginary doorbell making Shocket giggle softly that he was playing with them seeing them coming out sitting on thefloor on cushions which Rocket admitted was a cosy way to sit on the floor. "You gugs can play nice like right now and you play nice with your sibs so mayve you can play nice with the other kids." he told them seeing Linda and Itsy nodding but Shocket had her furry arms folded across her chest making Rocket sighing knowing he might have more work to do with her than Itsy and Linda .
"The High Evlouitionary taught us to look out for ourselves and trust nobody but us. Those kids are chumps." Shocket said gruffly making Linda sigh. "Shockie it's okay we don't have to live with him or be afraid that he'd take us from you or update you." she reassured her hugging her majibg Rocket get it hearibg Shocket snifflibg running back into the fortress making hin knock which Linda and Itsy foubd sweet.
"We should give her alobe tine to cool off, daddy-" Itsy heard Linda say making Rocket's eyes widen guessing so but hanging out with them which they were loving explainibg to him, he had to gain Shocket's trust before she'd let him help her which he git guessing the HE had made her like him seeing Linda nodding. "The other kids in the lab told her aboht you, seeing her brand." she told him as they were having a tea party and Linda was dressed like a detextive with a magnifying glass and Itsy was wearing a Spidey hoodie which Rocket found adorable and had Guardian armoyr for Shocket if she wanted to but wasn't forcibg her.
"Hey our sibs wanna joun us, is that okay." Itsy asked. "Uh-huh as this'll help yohr social skills and mayve Shockie seeing all the fun we're having will wanna join us if she wants to." he replied to her sensing Shocketwaa watching from inside the fort but feeling shy guessibg she wasn't used to this compared to Linda and Itsy so would give her some time later. After a while, they were having mac and cheese which they were loving only Linda was concerned for Shocket because it was dinnertime and she hadn't lect the fort which Rocket got guessing she was giving herself a time out well the longest time out he'd ever heard of sighing peeking into there seeing her in a furry ball hugging Helen making him get it. "I'll save her sone as I think she's upset or thinks you're mad at her." he told her making her and Itsy exchange a look
"We're not mad at her, we just want her to have fun with us like earlier as shewould have loved it. But she would do that when she failed to make hin happy." Itsy told him.
"Poor kiddo as I've been through that with him but we'll help her out, you guts are safe here." he said softly sniffling which Shocket heard surprising her.
"So, feeling better after earlier, as we missed you. We had some fun as I was teaching your friends some social skills plus you noticed your friends's new looks and have sonthibg you'd like wearing but only if you want to as I don't want to focrce you." Shocketheard Rocket saying. It was later that night and Shocket being hubgry had gotten up bhungry along with being ubable to sleep only Rocket was also up knowing this would happen giving him an idea.
"Woah sonebody's tummy's hubgry as it's making noises. It's fine." he told her making Shocket smile a lil.
"Yeah I'm hubgry, and hella yeah, Itsy and Linda look awesome and adorable, I'll think aboht it. I heard you sniffling when talking to them earlier and sorry for being anti social as thatks how it went you know where." she told him. "I get it honey as I suffered at the High Evlouitionary's paws and caused major trauma to me growibg up only Itsy and Linda seem okay." he told her as they were drinking milk and havibg cookies which was making Shocket calm but herpaws were shaking making Rocket sense she'd been traumatised by the High Evlouitionary than Itsy and Linda seeing hernodd asking him if he ever whacked somebody. "Not that I remember kiddo but why would you ask that." he replied drinking milk seeing Shocket quiet.
"The HE put special cybernetics in me compared to Itsy and Linda and sent me on adventures." she told hij making Rocket surprised by this as he was learning about her compared to Itsy and Linda making her surprised but after the sun rose she was getting sleepy so Rocket was putting her on thecouch wrapping a blanket around her kissing her furrry head under her mohawk seeing Itsy and Linda up but smiling seeing Shocket asleep on the couch as they were going into the kitchen
