Author's Note: Yes everyone, Finn is going to have a special arc with the various Adventure Time ladies. As for the harem, romance, and lemons? It will come a bit later as I want Finn to go on a few adventures and help some Ooo folks before it comes to that.

Chapter 4: Vampiric Melody

[WINNER!]

"Cool, so what happens now?" Finn asked with excitement, but he was still tense as the pigman was charging up the energy ball attack.

"You better make it quick, Spin System…"

[You win…

Heroism!

"Huh?"

Finn was surrounded in a blue aura and his wounds were instantly healed and he felt energized with renewed power and stamina.

"Whoa…" He said in awe as the energy surged through his veins. Time seemed to freeze as the pigman that was charging up the attack became as still as a statue.

"Holy crap…" Finn stared wide eyed at the screen. He just unlocked a bunch of overpowered passive skills like he was in an RPG game. The type of games where protagonists start off fighting weak monsters and animals to suddenly battling universe destroying gods towards the end of the game.

Time unfroze again and the pigman was back to charging up the energy blast.

"Ha, take this!" The pigman shouted. He finished charging up the attack and it went straight for Finn, but Finn, feeling a powerful surge of energy running through his body evaded the blast and moved so fast behind the pigman it looked like he teleported.

"What!?" The pigman yelled out in confusion. It looked behind him to see the human holding the lightning sword and was ready to fight, but unlike earlier, the human had a strange transparent blue energy aura around himself.

"I told you…" Finn began, clenching the handle of his blade tightly.

"To leave me alone!" He swung the sword. The pigman smirked, laughing at his futile attempt. His ranged attacks didn't work, so what was his little pathetic thunderbolts were going to-

CRASH!

BOOM!

A loud thunderclap resounded through the area and instead of thunder bolts being released from Finn's lightning sword, it was instead a powerful explosion filled with light and blue electricity.

"Ahh!" The pigman exclaimed in pain as the lightning tore through his dungeon armor and paralyzed him.

"D-Damn…" Finn said in shock at the damage he caused. He literally became a god of storms with the sword, and it made the human think back to the skills. It was definitely the [Wizard Overlord] blessing that made his magical lightning sword more powerful.

The eyeball floating nearby the pigman shot a laser beam at Finn, but the laser beam seemed to curve away from Finn as if he had an invisible barrier around his body that can redirect attacks away.

"You can't win…you…" The pigman tried to stand up, but he couldn't as his body shook violently, and more lightning started to appear around his body. He was then struck by a few more powerful explosions of lightning until he was reduced to ash and more of his equipment was destroyed. Finn had to actually take cover because the multiple spontaneous blasts were getting bigger.

Finn realized that [Ravage] being paired with [Mult Strike] while attacking the enemy with a magic weapon that will be empowered by [Wizard Overlord] and Finn's attack will be a sure hit thanks to [First Bood] is an absolutely nasty combo. He killed the armored pigman adventurer in one hit and it wasn't even a critical hit. Finn wondered how destructive the attack would have been if it was a devastating blow.

Finn sheathed his sword and while he was glad the fight was over; he took pity on the poor pigman. Yes, he was trying to murder Finn, but Finn discovered that it was because of the Dungeon Train that made the pigman go crazy.

He felt that pull.

He felt something 'tugging' on his mind as he was fighting the train monsters.

Keep fighting. It whispered to his brain.

Kill and collect all the glorious loot. It said.

There was no invisible ghost whispering in his ear while he fought the train monsters, but again, Finn felt something was trying to get him to lose himself to endless slaughter and he would turn into a 'murder hobo' that was obsessed with fighting and killing enemies and collecting their stuff.

It was why Finn decided to get off the train and not spend to long on it as he felt that urge to keep fighting getting to him. He had too, this desire to keep killing was starting to unnerve Finn as he traveled through the rail cars, and he had to remind himself he wasn't on a normal train.

In a way, Finn put the pigman out of his misery as he lost himself to the Dungeon Train and he didn't have any friends or loved ones to pull him out of there. Again, he wasn't a mindless train monster, but an unfortunate individual that found the train just like Finn, became consumed by insanity, greed, and battle lust while inside the Dungeon Train, and didn't have anyone help him before it was too late.

The young blonde man would have ended up just like the pigman adventurer if he gave in to temptation...

Finn walked up to the dead pigman and prayed for him.

"May you rest in peace…" Finn spoke softly.

He decided to loot the pigman for any valuable items. He hated having to pretty much steal the pigman's stuff and desecrate his corpse, but Finn was in a do or die situation. He wasn't on Earth and was in this strange chaotic land, he needed all the supplies he could get…especially since he planned to not go back to the train after realizing what it did to the pigman and what it was trying to do to him.

Most of the loot got destroyed and the floating eyeball that can shoot lasers was killed, but using [Combat Insight], he was able to find two very important magical items. A gold ring and a moon the size of a golf ball. The blessing told Finn that the gold ring has an enlarging ability that will make him bigger, stronger, and tougher, and the moon was the thing that was intercepting Finn's ranged attacks.

Finn pocketed the items and looked back towards the direction of the train. Heroism was still activated, and it felt like he was getting high off the power, as his senses were able to pick up the flapping sound of a hummingbird from over five miles away.

He took out a small mirror from his pocket; a tiny circular pocket mirror he decided to pick up after slaying a train monster that Finn planned to sell because it had gold outlining and a small piece of diamond attached to it. He stopped paying attention to the surroundings and focused on himself.

Finn was able to get a good look at himself in the mirror and he was shocked to see that he had a white fiery energy aura around his body, the irises of his eyes glowed blue, and he had green glowing veins running up and down his arm. As Finn recalled, the glowing veins in his arm was the same arm that his kid counterpart lost when he had a memory flash…

The white fire around his body didn't hurt him, or seemed to produce any heat, as his clothes and the nearby trees did not catch on fire when he got too close to them. Even though Finn figured it was there just for 'looks' and all, he couldn't help but feel that the white fire felt important somehow…

Finn shrugged it off and made his way back to the train.

He didn't plan on getting on the train to kill monsters and get more loot, Finn wanted to derail it…forever. Finn didn't want anyone else to become ensnared by that horrible machine and he would destroy not just for himself, but for the poor pigman adventurer that went insane inside of it.

He didn't know how long Heroism lasted, but he better make use of it while it's still in effect.

"Matter of fact…" Finn stated.

"Hey, Spin System. How long does Heroism last?" He asked out loud.

[10 Minutes and each time you activate Heroism, its duration will increase]

"What? So I don't get to keep all the blessings?"

[The blessings are temporary; Heroism is supposed to be your 'trump card' ability if all else fails. When Heroism does end, you get to keep at least one Heroic Blessing, but it will be random, and you can't pick what you want. If you are lucky and you keep winning, not only will Heroism last longer, but you'll unlock more abilities and you'll get to keep more Heroic Blessings]

"Sweet, how much time I have left?"

[2 minutes and 11 seconds]

"Yikes, it only felt like five minutes to me." Finn cringed.

[Time flies went you are happy and invincible…]

Finn wanted to ask the Spin System about the curses, but he realized he had to do it later because he was running out of time.

Finn gripped his lightning sword and stood in front of the train that would never stop.

"Eeyaw!" Finn left out a battle cry, swinging the sword and unleashing a powerful explosion of light and electricity down upon a rail car.

CRASH!

BOOM!

The rail car didn't take any damage, but Finn produced enough force to completely knock it off the tracks and sent it crashing on the ground and because it was connected to the front and back end of other rail cars, they too went derailing off the tracks. The sounds of metal crashing resounded in the forest as the forever moving train piled up and started to form a massive 'hill' of scarp metal.

"Whoa…" Finn looked on in awe. He never got to see a train crash up close and personal; he only saw train crashes when he came across vides of them on the internet. It was good that there were no innocents on the train. Finn didn't consider the train monsters as 'sentient' as they seem to only exist just to fight, die, and repeat. None even attempted to escape the train and venture into the forest; it was as if they were forever bound to that cursed train. It also didn't help that the train monsters didn't speak…

It was odd to Finn that while the Dungeon Train crashed and was no longer moving, none of the rail cars seem to have taken any damage from crashing off the tracks and collapsing in on each other.

Finn just shrugged and sheathed his sword.

Finn used [Combat Insight] to go over every weapon and item he has collected from the train: the moon that deflects ranged attacks, the ring that increases his strength, size, and endurance, the magical lightning sword that he nicknamed Stormalong, a fire wand, some plate armor that had extra resistance to magic attacks, the hammer that can shoot an energy blast that can turn enemies to stone, the red gem that increased his strength, a card that granted underwater breathing and increased swim speed, and a few guns like a shotgun, submachine gun, and a handgun.

He unfortunately lost the badass fire crown that can shoot fire blasts, or create 'fire limbs' to grab enemies or bash enemies because the pigman knocked it off his head and broke it.

Ba-Dump!

Finn heard a loud heartbeat and it seemed to have come from him. He felt himself getting weaker and he was losing the high that he felt earlier.

"Oh, dang it. It seems like its ending now…" Finn said sadly, losing the white fire around his body and he went back to normal, the green glowing energy flowing through his arm also vanished.

[You will keep: Avoidance Aura]

"That ain't bad, but I would have chosen something else."

Having the [Avoidance Aura] blessing was good, but at the same time, Finn felt like he would have picked a better blessing. It was too fickle and inconsistent as it stated it would sometimes redirect attacks and sometimes it wouldn't, and Finn didn't know how frequently it would try to protect him from attacks, so Finn definitely couldn't put too much trust into it.

Finn had to hurry back to the car as it was starting to get dark, quickly noticing that the light was starting to dim in the area, and he wouldn't be able to retrace his footsteps.

When Finn got far enough away from the train crash, the wrecked Dungeon Train started to slowly put itself back together…

Finn finally made it to the car and just in the nick of time as the sun was gone and was now replaced with a full moon. The dark made the forest creepier, and he didn't plan on heading back. It didn't help that it felt like something was observing him from the dark and while he now had the means to defend himself thanks to the magical weapons and armor, Finn still didn't want to think he was invincible.

The shadowy presence felt familiar to Finn, and he concluded it was the thing that was watching him when he was in the car tunnel. It made Finn a bit uncomfortable because clearly this predatory night entity was cunning and was waiting for a chance strike him while he had his guard down. It wasn't like the train monsters and crazed pigman adventurer that went ham on him the moment they saw him.

No.

This creature was waiting for an opening. One second of him being vulnerable so it can pounce on him.

Finn quickly tossed most of his loot in the trunk, back seat, and kept some weapons, food, and water bottles on the passenger seat.

Finn turned on his car and pulled away from the nearby forest and continued to drive through the meadow.

The shadowy figure in the woods observing Finn watched him drive away in his nice-looking car and smirked, her vampiric fangs catching the light of the moon…

"So you guys are still alive?" She whispered with barely contained excitement.

"I wonder if you'll give me a good fight, big boy…" Marceline, the Vampire Queen chuckled evilly because this human was about to have a rough long night. She bit a red apple and sucked all the color out. A Blank Eyed Girl standing nearby a tree, playing with a stick looked at Marceline.

"What is it?" The Vampire Queen asked the little pale skinned girl that had black eyes and stringy black hair.

She walked up to Marceline and just stared at her with interest and swayed her body to the flow of the wind.

"Whatever." She said with annoyance, leaving behind the Blank Eyed Girl.

Finn had no idea where he was going.

Something in the dark was stalking him and he didn't know where to hunker down for the night as he was getting exhausted. It looked like he'd have no choice but to fight again as he didn't believe his car wouldn't have provided any defense against a creature attacking him at night while he slept.

Finn heard a deep animalistic growl that absolutely spooked him, and he looked out the window to see a large black snarling wolf chasing after him and his car.

Finn could easily tell it wasn't an ordinary wolf as it was bigger than a normal wolf, nearly the size of a prehistoric direwolf, but most importantly, it had red eyes.

In those red eyes wasn't a mindless aggressive beast as Finn saw intelligence in those eyes and it didn't help that amusement flashed in its eyes when he looked at it, telling Finn all he needed to know that it was toying with him and enjoyed seeing him running scared.

"Holy shit!" Finn stepped on the gas to speed up his car. The wolf was still catching up to him even though he was driving as fast as he could. It leapt on the trunk of the car and started to climb on the roof and made its way to the hood of the car and growled at Finn as it clawed at the windshield.

Finn could have sworn he heard the voice of a young woman chuckle evilly between the wolf snarls, but Finn was too scared to notice. However, he did notice that he was about to hit some trees with his car, so an idea came to him…

He slammed on the brakes and sent the wolf flying off the car and made it crash into a tree, causing it to yip in pain. Wasting no time, Finn proceeded to run over the downed hellhound with his car, making it cry out in pain.

Finn rolled the window down, grabbed a fire wand, and shot an exploding fireball at the wolf that was still recovering, and it exploded in the wolf's face, causing it to howl in agony.

Finn drove away from the flames, leaving behind the burning remains of the wolf.

The young blonde-haired man breathed a sigh of relief once he drove far enough that he couldn't see the flames. The wolf must have been the thing that was watching him from the car tunnel and Finn was glad that he could now rest.

"Oh, yeah, its almost time!" Finn realized, looking at his watch and almost forgetting about Starchy's radio show that was about to start soon.

Finn turned the car radio on and prepared for the show. He was a few minutes early, but he had no issues waiting for a bit as he stopped driving and got ready to listen to the show.

"Good evening, everyone in the land of Ooo, this is Starchy, the Grave Digger, bringing you news and supernatural hot spots! We once again thank the citizens of Ooo who gave up their lives for trapping the Lich in Wizard City after it escaped from Princess Bubblegum's amber prison. Special thanks to Ice King, the Vampire Queen, Flame Princess, and the Grand Wizard that rules Wizard City for sealing the Lich. Billy is gone, but let's hope there is someone out there to follow in his footsteps and be the next great Hero of Ooo.

A possible war might be brewing between Princess Bubblegum and the Flame Princess, and this strange woman with ice powers who calls herself Patience is trying to get her elemental sisters from going to war, but things aren't looking too good. Personally, Starchy feels this Patience shouldn't be bothering them too much. The various princesses have different opinions on this Bubblegum vs Flame dispute.

Anyway, Jake the Dog is still MIA. He was last seen heading over to the village of sharp folks to help them, and his brother, Jermaine went to look for him there, but he also went missing. Poor miss Lady Rainacorn is worried sick and is hoping she can get someone to help her find her husband and his brother.

There have been numerous reports of citizens encountering the Blank Eyed Girls late at night and-"

Finn turned off the radio as he had a lot to unpack here.

He just discovered this world was called Ooo and that the people here have just survived the assault from some kind of dastardly supervillain that took quite a few lives. Not just that, but two nations were about to go to war and that Jake the Dog was missing.

Jake…

Finn remembered the memory flash of the upright standing Jake, could this be the same Jake he saw in his mind? It made Finn miss the normal dog Jake at home. Finn turned the radio back on and listened more, but after Starchy chatted about the Blank Eyed Girls, his show ended.

While he was glad that he got more information about this world, he still didn't get any directions to where a town or city was. It gave him a new mission: locate Bubblegum's nation or Flame Princess's nation, or get help from the Grand Wizard of Wizard City.

Finn started up his car again and drove through the meadow.

As he came across a pretty large lake with waters that shimmered in the pale moonlight after a few minutes of driving, Finn started to the hear the sounds of a guitar playing.

"Oh, what now?" He thought.

Floating above the lake was a woman holding a red guitar who was strumming it. It looked like she was about to play a song as a bunch of strange 'fish knights' that were wearing helmets that looked like a birthday party hat and were armed with 'buzz saw swords' came out of the lake and observed her and didn't display any hostile behavior towards the woman that floated a few inches off the water's surface.

Their reactions varied, some looked scared of the woman while a few others were more curious. At least fifty of the fish swordsmen emerged from the lake; they all didn't come on land, choosing to instead float on top of the water's surface.

Finn noticed that she had burn marks on her body like she just barely emerged from a burning house, or someone with a flamethrower attacked her, but was able to quickly put out the fire before it would have inflicted too much damage, but those scorches on her body began to heal in seconds and disappeared.

"Lake Knights, are you read to rock!?" She shouted as she floated more into the moonlight and out of the shadows to expose herself.

The fish creatures living in the lake cheered as she began playing her guitar with enthusiasm. Finn just realized her red guitar looked like a battle axe and he didn't know if she turned the battle axe into a guitar, or it was a guitar and she turned it into a battle axe.

In the bright moonlight, Finn was now able to see all of her features and she didn't look human. She had grey skin, pointed ears, and fangs, and Finn quickly realized what she was.

"Is that a vampire?" He said mentally, studying her as she performed in front of the fish creatures. There was no mistaking it, the woman was indeed some kind of vampire as Finn concluded.

Her outfit was pretty basic as she wore a black tank top and had no bra, a black choker around her slender neck, blue jeans, and wore red cowboy boots.

Appearance-wise, she looked like she was in her twenties, and she had long black straight hair that fell down her back like a waterfall of shadows, red irises that were the color of blood, her fingernails were black, and she was quite busty and curvy. The tanktop seemed to really emphasize her shapely figure and did nothing to hide her exposed cleavage and the tanktop seemed a bit 'snug' as he can clearly see the outline of her well-toned belly. However, Finn took note of the bite mark on her neck, and he concluded that she probably used to be human and had turned into a vampire.

It was like Finn was at a comic con and he just ran into a sexy athletic supermodel cosplaying as some kind of attractive vampire biker chick. Her inhuman features didn't turn him off, rather it made him more interested in her and made her exotic.

He blinked rapidly a few times.

"Ugh, focus Mertins, focus…"

Finn shook his head to shake off being awestruck as he found himself lost in the vampire's guitar playing and spent too long ogling her body. She noticed him looking and even winked at him while she played, giving him the 'like what you see?' look.

Attraction aside, Finn couldn't let the vampire's good looks trick him. He knew that hot vampires that seduced you are just as dangerous as the ugly monstrous ones. He consumed enough vampire media to become savvy about the blood sucking creatures of the night.

Hell, there could have been an ugly demon bat monster underneath that pretty grey face that would rip his throat out. Finn wouldn't be surprised if she was the type of vampire that would seduce someone, then the fangs come out once her prey gets close enough…

"I hope you don't sparkle…" Finn muttered in amusement. The young blonde man decided to not to drive off and listened to her music, rolling down the driver's seat window. He hoped that the vampire was the 'friendly neighborhood' type and that she would give him directions to a city, or town, but if she tries to take his blood, he has his magic weapons close by to defend himself.

Finn even placed the fire wand on his lap to quickly grab it if she tries anything.

After playing with her guitar for some time, the grey vampire woman started to sing…

Hey, let's dance.

To the hot beat.

Hey, hey boy!

She gave a mischievous smirk and looked directly in Finn's eyes. It wasn't just the Lake Knights enjoying her music, a bunch of pale skinned little girls with black eyes and stringy black hair emerged from the bushes near the lake and started to dance to the vampire's music. There were about six of the pale girls.

It felt like Finn just stumbled onto a late-night party near a lake. All the party goers weren't human, and Finn just realized he was witnessing a monster mash.

The heated heart, I feel it…

And look at me!

Hey, let's dance!

Don't be shy.

Hey, hey boy!

Don't be hesitant and let's dance!

"Wow, she's amazing." Finn said in awe as she sang and played her guitar. He had a strong feeling the song was directed at him as each time she said 'boy' her red eyes met his blue ones.

The vampire's singing finally came to an end, and she strummed her last note. She was then met with a roaring applause from the Lake Knights and the strange pale girls.

Finn even gave her a round of applause as he admitted she was pretty good.

"You were great!" Finn yelled out, earning a smug smile from the vampire woman.

The Lake Knights disappeared under the water and the vampire woman slipped back into the shadows and out of the moon light. The pale girls with black eyes didn't leave and were doing idle actions, like playing with rocks and sticks, or lying down on the ground watching the moon, or standing there and giving Finn creepy stares.

"Huh? Where did she-"

Finn jumped when she suddenly appeared by his car, like she teleported.

"You thought I was good huh?" She asked. Finn nodded.

"Oh yeah, you were totally radical." He answered with a faint smile.

"Haha, thanks dude." She giggled.

"Haven't seen you around in Ooo, where are you from?"

Finn sighed. He didn't know if it was a good idea to go around and tell everyone where he was truly from, so he played it safe.

"Far away unfortunately, like a whole new island." He said carefully. The vampire woman's eyes lit up.

"Oh? An island, huh?" She said with fascination.

"Yeah, anyway, my name is Finn Mertins, what's yours?"

"I'm Marceline the rocking Vampire Queen." She gave him an evil smile and started to check out his Dodge Challenger.

"Oh cram jam, she isn't a normal vampire, she's a powerful elder one, I got to be careful…" Finn thought as he observed the vampire queen with caution.

"That's a nice car you got there…" The vampire woman said, running her hand down the hood.

"I like your jacket too." She said, eyeing Finn's black leather jacket that he was wearing.

"Yeah, thanks, they aren't for sell." Finn didn't like where this was going.

"Well, the vampire queen does whatever she wants my little human prey. Blah blah!" She hissed at him, revealing a scary demonic face filled with sharp teeth.

"Fuck I knew there was a terrible monster underneath that pretty face!"

Finn slammed his foot on the gas pedal and started to drive away Marceline and he didn't get far as his car stopped immediately.

"What? Go!" Finn was confused at why he wasn't going forward, and he looked back to see that Marceline was holding onto the back of the car with one hand, stopping it from driving off and the tires kicked up dirt and started to dig into the ground.

"Where are you going dude? The night is young and I'm lookin' for someone to be my hot date tonight!"

"I can't, I'm booked!" Finn yelled back.

"You weren't thinking about that when you were ogling my body earlier while I performed with those naughty eyes!" Marceline giggled and pulled the car back. She waved her hand and used her telekinesis to unlock and open Finn's driver door and ripped him out of the car.

Finn was able to grab some magic weapons with him and used the fire wand to shoot an exploding fireball at her, but she easily evaded the fireball and came at Finn, grabbing his throat and lifting him up off the ground.

"Holy shit she's strong, much stronger than the armored pigman adventurer! I think I'm gonna need the Spin System!"

Despite Finn being more muscular and a little bit taller than Marceline, her supernatural strength allowed her to overpower the human with ease. However, Finn planted a solid kick on her belly which was enough to drop him and make her stagger a bit.

"Ow, that hurt Finn…" Marceline rubbed her belly and gave him a hurt look. However, it was quickly replaced with an amused chuckle.

Finn blinked and he suddenly found himself being launched in the air at high speeds no thanks to Marceline carrying him high in the night sky…
