Home visit
"And here we are, Hage village." Donna said as she, Ekrixi and Shan reached the home village of Asta and Yuno.
"So this is where Asta has been living since arriving in the Clover Kingdom." Shan commented as she glanced around.
Currently, it's the Magic Knight's rest day, although many use it for training, and Donna is heading to Hage village and surprisingly Ekrixi and Shan have decided to come on long.
"So that's the Demon Skull that gave birth to the title of Wizard King. It's massive!" Shan commented as she glanced towards the giant three-eyed skull.
"I thought the same when I first saw the skull." Donna said, making the previous wielder of Endless Dash to nod her head slightly.
"Although the statue of the first Wizard King stood there…." The wielder of Ikazuchi thought as she stared at the spot where the statue version of Lemiel once stood.
"Donna? Is that you?" A voice asked, causing the three newly arrived to turn towards the direction of the voice to see two farmers.
"Yep. Just checking to see how everyone is doing whilst bringing some guests." Donna said as she waved towards the two farmers who waved back before returning to their work.
"When was the last time you where here?" Ekrixi asked, becoming curious.
"The last time that I visited Hage village was when the Royal Knight's invasion on the Eye Of The Midnight's base was happening. Did Asta told you about that?" Donna asked, raising an eye-brow.
"Yes. Asta told us about his time as a Magic Knight until…." Ekrixi began to say before trailing off, causing Donna to become tense, knowing what the previous wielder of Rekka is referring to.
"I think that Asta may have told you more than me." Shan commented with a small pout on her face.
"That's probably because you've been living in the desert for a while." Ekrixi commented in a low tone of voice, although the previous wielder of Endless Dash may have heard him as she gave him a small glare.
"There's the church that Asta has been living at." Donna said, her voice seemingly gain a higher pitch as she saw the church in the distance.
This cause the two former Magic Knights to perk up…..although Ekrixi seemed to gain a small frown on his face.
After a bit of walking, the three arrived at the church where the wielder of Ikazuchi knocked on the door.
"Coming!" A slight muffled responded and after a few minutes the door opened, revealing Sister Lilly.
"Hi." Donna greeted with a smile just as Sister Lilly's face lit up.
"Oh! Hello, Donna. This is as surprise…..?" Sister Lilly said before noticing Ekrixi's and Sarha's presence.
"These two are…..relatives of Asta….." Donna said as she started to become nervous.
During the journey towards Hage village, the wielder of Ikazuchi started to become nervous as to what sort of reaction that the residents of the church may have towards Ekrixi and Shan.
"Relatives of Asta!?" Sister Lilly asked in a shock tone of voice, her eyes widening.
"That's correct. I'm Ekrixi Staria, Asta's grandfather." Ekrixi introduced himself.
"And I'm Shan Kasper. Asta's grandaunt." Sarha introduce herself.
Sister Lilly stared at the two with a stunned expression on her face.
"Do you want to sit down?" Donna asked, starting to become worried.
"Yes. I probably should." Sister Lilly responded before heading inside, followed by the other three.
"S-so. Asta has managed to find more about his family." Sister Lilly stated once she sat down.
"Yes. That's correct. I've been looking after him ever since…...well, you know." Ekrixi responded, making Sister Lilly sigh in relief.
"That's good to hear. Everyone in the village have been on edge ever since it was announced in the papers that Asta was accused of causing disruption within the Clover Kingdom." Sister Lilly explained in a relieved tone of voice.
"So you knew that Asta is innocent from the very start?" Shan asked, causing Sister Lilly to nod her head firmly.
"Of course. Asta told us that he frequently have dreams about another dragon-themed sword wielder." Sister Lilly explained, making Sarha nod her head slightly.
"So what do you do, Mr Staria?" Sister Lilly asked, becoming curious.
"I was a former Magic Knight of the Sword of Logos along with possessing the same title as Asta. But now I'm just a training instructor." Ekrixi explained just as Sister Lilly widen her eyes.
"So that sword of flames is a family relic." Sister Lilly commented, making Ekrixi nod his head slightly.
"You can say that." The previous wielder of Rekka commented in an interested tone of voice.
It was at that moment that a small cough can be heard, causing Ekrixi, Sister Lilly and Donna to glance towards Shan who has a questioning expression on her face.
"Have you forgotten to include me, hm?" Shan asked as she stare at Ekrixi.
"R-right. Shan was also a former Magic Knight of the Sword of Logos along with being my partner, wielding Endless Dash, the Holy Sword of sand, now in the possession of her own grandson. It was though her that I met Setareh, Sarha's sister and Asta's grandmother." Ekrixi explained, sweating slightly whilst Sister Lilly became interested.
"Thank you." Shan said in a happy tone of voice.
"So how is Asta doing?" Sister Lilly asked, starting to become worried.
"Asta…..He's training for the upcoming invasion." Ekrixi responded, causing Sister Lilly to raise an eye-brow before glancing towards Donna.
"I don't know what sort of training Asta is doing." Donna responded, knowing what is going through Sister Lilly's head.
"And for good reason." Donna thought in her head, becoming slightly guilty.
It was at that moment the sound of the door can be heard.
"Lilly! Are you in." The voice of Father Orsi called from the doorway.
"I'm here, Father Orsi. Donna is here." Sister Lilly responded just as Father Orsi appeared into the room.
"Hello, Donna and…..guests?" Father Orsi said, becoming confuse at Ekrixi's and Sarha's presence.
"These two are Ekrixi Staria and Shan Kasper, Asta's grandfather and grandaunt. Mr Staria, Mrs Kasper. This is Father Orsi Orfai, the priest of the church." Sister Lilly introduced the three to each other, making Father Orsi widen his eyes.
"Asta's relatives?!" A female voice exclaimed, causing Sister Lilly, Donna, Ekrixi and Sarha to to turn towards the doorway of the room to see Mimosa and Yuno.
"Yuno! What are you doing here?" Sister Lilly asked, a smile appearing on her face.
"I'd decided to visit and Mimosa wanted to come." Yuno explained before glancing towards Donna.
"You're doing the same?" Yuno asked, making Donna nod her head.
"Yes. Mr Staria and Mrs Kasper decided to visit Asta's home village when they heard what I was doing." Donna explained, making Yuno nod his head slightly.
"Hello. I'm Mimosa Vermillion, a member of the Golden Dawn Magic Knights." Mimosa introduced herself.
"Vermillion? You're a member of the Vermillion house?" Ekrixi guessed, making Mimosa nod her head.
"That's correct, Mr Staria." Mimosa said, a smile appearing on her face.
"Asta did actual mentioned you once." Ekrixi commented, causing Mimosa's eyes to widen.
"H-he did?!" Mimosa exclaimed, causing the previous wielder of Rekka to nod his head.
"Asta mentioned me to his grandfather." Mimosa repeated in her head, a blush slowly appearing on her face.
"Since when did Asta is good at gaining the attention of females?" Shan questioned in her head, noticing Mimosa's reaction.
It was at that moment that Father Orsi slowly realize something as he study Ekrixi.
"Have we…..met before….?" Father asked, causing everyone to become surprise.
"You met Mr Staria before?" Sister Lilly asked, becoming curious as she glance between Father Orsi and Ekrixi.
"We have actually, it was when I visited Hage village and ran into you who explained about Asta and Yuno, the two mysterious youths as you called them." Ekrixi explained with a sheepish smile on his face, causing the room to become stun into silence with Father Orsi widening his eyes.
That changed when a dark aura started to surround Shan.
"Let me get this straight, Ekrixi, you knew where Asta was and didn't say anything." Shan said just as the previous wielder of Rekka started to sweat.
"W-well, I was planning on taking Asta back with me, but I discovered that he's suffering from memory lost and decided to leave him here." Ekrixi explained…..whilst starting to back away.
"…" The previous wielder became silent…..before raising a fist which is started to become covered in Mana-Skin.
"Someone! Please help me!" Ekrixi exclaimed in his head, starting to become scared.
"Where are Nash and the others?" Yuno asked, deciding to "save" Ekrixi.
"They're playing with some of the other children of the village. That reminds me. With the money that you and Asta been sending us, along with your success as Magic Knights, everyone have decided to open a schoolhouse for the children with Sister Lilly acting as the main instructor." Father Orsi explained, causing Yuno to widen his eyes.
"Congratulations." Donna said as she glance towards Sister Lilly.
"Yes, thank you." Sister Lilly said with a small smile on her face before turning towards Ekrixi.
"I don't suppose you would like to join in, you did mention that you did mention that you're a magic instructor." Sister Lilly offered, causing Ekrixi to perk up.
"Thanks for the offer, but it may have to wait until a later date….." Ekrixi said, a slight serious expression appearing on his face and everyone knew what he's referring to.
"So how is everything going?" Father Orsi asked, becoming curious.
"Everything is going okay. According to the envoy of the Heart Kingdom, we're about to enter the final phase of the training period." Ekrixi explained, deciding not to mention the fact that the envoy of the Heart Kingdom are in fact two people.
"Hah!" Cortana shouted as she swing Eien no Midori at Gram who blocked the attack.
The swordsman of snow then jumped back whilst turning the blade of Aerkurufuyu so that it's possess a jagged edge.
Even though the Magic Knights have agreed to have Sebastian to aid them in the upcoming invasion, they are still cautious about having the Spade Kingdom Mage within the Clover Kingdom.
Luckily, Queen Lolopechika is kind enough to allow Sebastian inside the Heart Kingdom…...as long it's near the boarder.
As of right now, the swordsman of snow and the bows-woman of the forest are fighting against each other, observe by a few people.
"So that's current wielder of Aerkurufuyu." Reika commented as she watch as Gram threw the jagged-edge form of Aerkurufuyu at Cortana who dived to the side before preparing to fire an arrow.
A muffled yell can be heard, causing the wielder of Noroshi to glance to the side to see Tetsuo…..tied up with his mouth being covered.
Hearing that Aerkurufuyu is within the Heart Kingdom, Tetsuo decided to head to the Heart Kingdom himself so that he can examine both the sword of snow and the bow of the forest.
However, when he saw how Gram wields Aerkurufuyu, he became mad, leading to his current state of being tied up.
"Yes. Gram does possess such a barbaric fighting style." Noelle commented with a frown on her face, she knowing the gist of Tetsuo's muffled outburst.
"Can you please stop seeing Gram in a nagative light, he's an ally after all…...maybe." Rintaro said, saying the last part in an unsure tone of voice.
Noelle simple responded by shrugging her shoulders, causing the wielder of Nagare to sweat-drop.
As the four Holy Sword wielders have their conversation, Gram dashed forwards in order to retrieve Aerkurufuyu before returning his attention back onto Cortana…..whose Grimoire has started to glow.
"Forest Magic: Razor Leafs." Cortana announced, creating four sharp leaves which started to spin around her.
"Snoklocka Magi: Knogdammare." Gram announced with his own Grimoire glowing, causing his sword-free arm to become covered in an snow-made gauntlet with sharp edges on the fingers.
The swordsman of snow then lunged forwards whilst drawing his gauntlet-clad arm back before throwing it forwards, causing the bows-woman of the forest to be force to use her spell to block the attack rather using the leafs to attack with.
"He's certainly fast." Domi commented, causing Fillon, who is currently in control, to nod her head.
The bows-woman of the forest hopped back whilst pulling back on the arrow-piece of Eien no Midori.
Gram was about to charge after Cortana, but was prevented as the remaining razor leafs shot towards him.
The swordsman of snow swing Aerkurufuyu whilst altering the blade so what it doesn't possess a solid form, causing the leafs to become frozen.
Gram then swing his gauntlet-clad fist, shattering the leafs.
At that moment, Cortana released her prepared arrow, letting it fly straight towards Gram who jumped to the side whilst letting the arrow fly through the solid-less blade of Aerkurufuyu, causing it to freeze when the arrow struck the bark of a tree.
Everyone became surprise when Gram turn around and started to make his way towards the frozen arrow.
"Don't tell me…." Fillon thought as she and Domi paled slightly as they and the others watch Gram take the frozen arrow out of the tree bark before turning his attention back to Cortana.
The bows-woman of the forest watched as the swordsman of snow conjured his magic in it's raw form to create a fog-like substance.
"Is he trying obscure our vision with his snow?" Domi questioned as she and Fillon observe how the fog is spreading.
The bows-woman of the forest became on guard whilst "drawing" another arrow and waited for Gram to make his move.
Seconds passed as nothing seemed to move from within the fog, causing Cortana to become on edge.
"He's hoping that we're going to drop our guard, isn't he." Fillon thought, feeling slightly annoyed for some reason.
It was at that moment that shards of snow came flying out of the fog, causing Cortana to instinctively release the arrow, letting it fly through the fog before quickly evading Gram's attack.
Speaking of the swordsman of snow, he came bursting out the fog, keeping his body low to the ground.
"He kept himself low on the ground to avoid getting struck by our attack!" Domi thought just as Gram quickly appeared in front of the bows-woman of the forest before swinging Aerkurufuyu and the still frozen arrow.
Cortana blocked the incoming attacks with the bladed-pieces of Eien no Midori, but with Gram's fighting style, she was soon getting over-whelmed.
Gram then kicked Cortana in the stomach, sending her flying backwards, before chasing after her.
The bows-woman crash onto the ground and attempted to get back onto her feet, but was prevented as the blade of Aerkurufuyu was pressed against their neck.
"Surrender." Gram said in an emotionless tone of voice.
"…...Yeah." Cortana responded in disgruntle tone of voice before deactivating her armour and getting back onto her feet.
"You two certainly are skilled fighters." Reika commented as Sebastian and Fillon walked back to the others.
The two Holy Sword wielders were about to respond, but were prevented as Tetsuo started his muffled rant again.
"Should we…..remove the gag?" Rintaro asked in an unsure tone of voice whilst his hands hover in the air.
"Might as well, the battle is over." Reika responded, making the wielder of Nagare to nod his head before starting to remove the gag.
"Lighting magic on standby." Gadjah said as lighting started to flicker around his hand, making everyone sweat-drop.
After a few minutes, Rintaro managed to remove the gag covering Tetsuo's mouth.
"How dare you use Aerkurufuyu in such a manner!" Tetsuo shouted with an angry expression on his face.
"In what way?" Sebastian asked, raising an eye-brow.
"You certainly know what I'm talking about! You've been throwing Aerkurufuyu about like it's no big deal!" The wielder of Sezume responded, yet Sebastian remain a calm expression on his face.
"I don't see how my fighting style should be taking into account?" The wielder of Aerkurufuyu asked whilst tilting his head to the side.
This cause multiple tick-marks to appear on Tetsuo's fore-head.
It was at that moment that a giggling can be heard, causing everyone to become confuse before turning towards the source of the voice to see a woman with wavy red auburn hair and teal-green eyes.
"At this rate, you're going to burst a blood vessel." The woman commented with a small smirk on her face, causing a frown to appear on Tetsuo's face.
"Who's she?" Mostly everyone thought, becoming curious.
"Helga? What are you doing here?" Sebastian asked, raising an eye-brow.
"I was watching you training with the others." The now known Helga responded, making Sebastian nod his head slightly.
Helga turned her attention towards the others.
"I'm Helga Nix-Alba, Sebastian's wife." Helga introduced herself to the others, causing them to become wide eyed.
"Wife?" Rintaro repeated, making Helga to nod her head.
"That's correct." Helga responded with a smile on her face.
It was at that moment that Domi, now taking control, gain a thought in her head.
"Are you…..the one who persuaded Sebastian into joining with us?" Domi asked in a slow tone of voice.
"That's correct. My husband tend to need some persuading at times." Helga responded whilst hugging one of Sebastian's arms….where a small smile flicker appeared on his face, making everyone widen their eyes.
"….How does someone with a barbaric fighting style has a wife like that?" Noelle muttered in a questioning tone of voice.
Unfortunately, Helga somehow managed to hear the silver hair girl, causing the auburn red hair woman to snap towards Noelle.
"Is there something wrong with that, little girl?" Helga asked, a dangerous glint appearing in her eyes.
"N-no!" Noelle responded, quickly backing away.
"That's must be why." Everyone else thought, sweat-dropping slightly.
Somewhere in the Spade Kingdom, three people sat around the table known as the Dark Triad, Dante Zogratis, Vainca Zogratis and Zenon Zogratis.
"I've received reports that the enemy's training will soon reach their final stage." Dante, a male with short black hair and green eyes spoke, yet doesn't seemed to be worried.
"And despite this, you decided to wait rather than acting now." Zenon, a male also possessing short black hair, but possessing blue eyes, questioned with a raised eye-brow.
"What? It's more fun, crushing them when they are at the peak of their power. After all, we hold their lives in our palms." The first male commented with smirk on his face, which possess a hint of evil within it.
"But Brother Dante, I'm getting bored with all this waiting!" Vainca, the sole female possessing short black hair and red eyes, yet the right eye is covered by an eye-patched with the Spade Kingdom's symbol printed on it, exclaimed in semi-annoyed tone of voice.
"Now, now, Vanica. Just be patient." The now known Dante responded, causing the now known Vanica to start pouting.
"I'm having doubts if you're still one of the three Mages that overthrown the Grinberryall house 16 years ago with that personality of yours." A dead-pan voice commented, causing the three Mages to turn their heads towards the source of the voice to see Cupiditas leaning against a wall.
"Huh? Do you want to feed my boredom?" Vainca questioned in slight annoyance.
"If you want to spar, then by all means." Cupiditas responded with a smirk on his face.
In response to Cupiditas's comment or something, Vanica's shadow shifted ominously.
"Will the others of your kind be appearing?" Zenon questioned, to which Cupiditas shrugged his shoulders in response.
"Don't know. Not a big fan of working with the Megid Generals." Theke responded in an off-handed tone of voice.
"And what about me?" A new voice questioned, causing the four to whirl around towards the source of the voice to see Desast leaning against the window which is slightly opened.
"Desast…What are you doing here?" Cupiditas asked with a questioning expression on his face.
"What sort of question is that? I was feeling bored at just watching from the side lines." Desast responded simply.
"No one has seen you every since chapter 128, will anyone remember you?" Vanica asked….which was met with blank silence.
"What?" Vanica asked, tilting her head to the side.
"These Dark Triad siblings are weird." Cupiditas thought, yet in slight amusement.
"If you want to join in the fun, then by all means." Dante said with a smile on his face, causing Desast to chuckle slightly.
"Thank you very much." The skull-faced swordsman said before chuckling darkly.
And there we have, we're pretty much at the end of the 6 month training arc with Donna, Ekrixi and Shan visiting Hage village, with Yuno and Mimosa appearing later whilst Sebastian is staying in the Heart Kingdom, with the chapter revealing that he is married. This chapter also shows the Dark Triad for the first time, along with Desast deciding to join them along side Cupiditas.
In Gavv:
1) Shoma is seen being chased by black-suited guards before managing to escape to earth where he was found by a boy called Hirori, which is then followed by Shoma showing his high durability when he save Hirori from a in coming truck. Elsewhere, a man gave a black-suited man what looks like human organs where he recieved a dark yellow cube in payment. Hirori decided to take Shoma to his secret hideout along with giving him sweets and Shoma eat the sweets, he started to produce objects called Gochizos from a red mechanical belt buckle called "Gavvs", causing Shoma to reveal to Hirori that he's an alien.
2) Meanwhile, the unknown man eat the dark yellow sweet, causing to gain a mouth on his stomach before managing to run into Hirori and planned to attack him, but was saved by Shoma where in response the man transformed into a being called the Granute Hound. Shoma attempted to fight the Granute Hound, but was easily defeated before getting confronted by the Gochizos that he'd created eariler who then showed him how to transform into Kamen Rider Gavv Poppin-Gummy form.
3) Using his new form, Gavv started to fight again, this time having a more easier time, whilst noting that he need to "consume" more Gochizo to repair his Poppin-Gummy form. When the Granute Hound attempted to escape, Gavv used the Vrocanbuggy, through the Vrocan Gochizo, to chase after him before using the Kickin-Gummy Gochizo to fully defeat the Ganute Hound. Afterwards, Shoma decided to explore and after one week, he was found passed out.
So a series with a theme that I was uncertain of at first, I enjoyed the first episode and when I read that Shoma is an alien, I had thought that he would be naive when he arrives on earth, but he seems like a well grounded character. It's pretty interesting that Shoma constantly needs to eat sweets in order to even transform into his base form. This will likely create scenarios where Gavv will run out of Gochizos and detransform, one of these times could be when Hanto, who appeared in the first episode, makes his debut as Kamen Rider Valen. Speaking of Hanto, will he need to relay on Shoma to create the Chocodon Gochizo or since his transformation device, the Valen-buster, doesn't consume the Gochizo, it remains permanent?
