A/N: Here. Another proper chapter to make up for the last.
To be clear, Advent (my co-writer) wrote THE ENTIRETY OF THIS chapter. Full credit to that madlad; I wasn't in any shape to edit or add anything.
This chapter, like the last SIX, is written differently from my usual format, and I apologize for any confusion. Hope you enjoy it. I'm not in a good way at the moment.
As for me, something is wrong with me. I don't feel like myself. Not sure if its my depression or what, but I feel...off. My mood is high, then low, then high again. Its affecting...well, everything, to say nothing of my energy levels. Sometimes its an effort to just get out of bed, get dressed, and drag my self to work. I can feel it eating away at me, sapping my motivation bit by bit. Thanks to Slifer and Advent, I'm fighting on, but its still exhausting.
Trying my best to endure, here, but if this doesn't stop soon, I may need to get myself seen by a professional, if only to figure out what's going on.
Once again, a heartfelt thanks to everyone out there for their heartfelt support in these trying times. As ever, we own no references, themes or memes and certainly no quotes. They're tributes made for the sake of entertainment, nothing more. So here we go. The fate of this story depends on you, the reader. Your feedback determines the fate of this tale, and many others. In other words...its up to YOU, the reader.
Do let me know~!

"Where did you train? ON A FARM!?"
~A will born of defiance
The Feathered Serpent
Naruto watched the winded redhead be carried away.
Pyrrha was... almost worthy... almost. The only reason she was deemed unworthy, was she had not fought him fully, as he had done to her, limited though he was. He had sensed her intentions, but he was disappointed in himself for not pushing her harder to test those limits. He swore to himself, he would have her at Beacon, that much she was worthy of earning-the sponsor to that school was what he had sensed from the man who cared more of his own looks rather than his own daughter and the money.
So, he would grant her that small token of appreciation in having pushed him as far as she did when they had contended with one another.
As it stood now, there would be a solid 48 hour break before the fighting continued tomorrow-no thanks in part to his and Pyrrha no doubt-from the destruction of the arena.
Drone's and automaton's would work through the night for maximum efficiency in order to undo the damages caused from the fighting, but even then, nothing could prepare him-Naruto Uzumaki-for the absolute unit he was about to encounter in the following days to come nor the world-breaking unveiling of absolute power that would come from this singular meeting that would open up all eyes on Remnant.
~XxX-Two days later-XxX~
Two days would pass in short order. The arena was built up and repaired to code and standard building guidelines, and the people were excited to see the upcoming events and matches of the tournament.
Having been judged the winner of the bout by tally points-which William believed was stupid as a draw was a draw regardless how one saw it-he was permitted to continue fighting in the tournament in order to keep an even number of fighting participants for as long as possible. Due to Pyrrha actually granting him the privilege of fighting him even handicapped as he made himself, he had offered her a scholarship to the Academic school of her choice from his own pocket rather than the prize offering coming from the actual tournament seeing as she had-technically-lost to him from the judges scorings as a way to apologize for having embarrassed her in such a manner.
Pyrrha's father had actually been cordial when he had come to hear of William's offer-having wanted to actually give it to her in front of the downright livid Nikos Lord-when he had requested to meet with the powerful fighter. Iskandar Alexios Nikos was not one to take give compliment or praise, but he offered a smile, a handshake, and a thanks for allowing his daughter the chance to go to the school of her own choice-even if he had tried to swindle him into giving the family the lost lien prize money from his pocket as a way to 'thank' the Nikos family for their attendance.
Ignorant ponce.
Did the man not understand just how much money-not that it was exactly an issue for him to pay for it-it had cost him to write up a legal drafting and legible scholarship to any of the worlds finest Huntsman academies of choice for free? Millions of lien taken from his own pocket (precisely 150,900,000 Lien to be exact)had been used to draft that damned thing, and the man stilled tried to swindle him for more! How dare he, he was so close to skewering the man-were it not for that (Dare he say it) M.I.L.F named Vanessa Nikos.
Shivers
She could put even Tsunade to shame with those things...
And to think, her daughter might grow up to be just like her!
Sonuvabitch!
God's damn you Jiraiya and your pervy ways corrupting him even now from the beyond!
Walking into the changing rooms so as to prepare himself for his first fight of the day, he felt as if something were off...something in the wind telling him to have an ace ready to call out just in case. It was almost as if the Nature Chakra was warning him of something, to prepare himself for arealfight in the coming minutes. He always trusted instinct, his intuition of fighting by his gut and improvising in the heat of the moment never failed him before as Naruto Uzumaki/Namikaze, and he wasn't about to let it happen as William Augustus Aiden Nicholas Schnee
Why the FUCK did his mother-Willow-have give him such a long fucking name?!
Regardless! He trusted his gut, and he was gonna continue to trust it. Opening the Gate, he looked into it, searching for something that wouldn't just simply overwhelm his opponent in an instant, no no, he wished to enjoy himself before he actually had to fight somewhat serious. The untold quantities of his arsenal would decide the outcome of the fight, but ultimately, there was only one thing actually trying to draw him in. And knowing it as a hunch feeling, he took it.
With his selection made, he began to prepare himself for combat.
~XxX-Arena; 30 Minutes later-XxX~
The crowds cheered as William entered the arena, his skin tight outfit clinging to his body almost as if it belonged. His muscular body seen clearly through the top, while his black cargo pants and black leather boots showed the intimidating power he restrained if forced to move at higher levels of speed.
He ignored the Announcer as he gazed upon the other end of the arena where his opponent would come from, his eyes narrowing as he sensed an... almost familiar...no...itwasas familiar presence, but he couldn't tell where or why!?
How vexing...
Again, he tuned out the speaker as his opponent came forth. Her hips hypnotically swaying as she walked out, allowing William to take in her appearance.
She a tall young woman, slightly curly blonde hair, and beautiful emerald eyes. She wears bright and colorful clothing, a green feathered plume on her head that furls in the back and sides with orange accents and-was.. was that, pure gold inlays?!-with a lot of orange and green feathers on the headdress, and each movement she made as she approached generating a tinkling sound from the golden coins and accessories hanging off her clothes and feathered headdress. She wore a deep red top-of sorts, it kinda looked like a cropped poncho-with golden tassel's. She had golden bracers with orange feathers on either forearm.
Her lower clothes were a deep maroon skirt that drooped in the back rather than the front for freedom of movement in her legs. She had a blue sash of silk tied to her waist with a golden buckle in the front of her waist that held a long cloth made of green fabric and orange feathers. She had metal knee bracers and wore open toed sandals as a finishing touch to her outfit. Some small details he did take note of was that she had a emerald-like a legit fucking emerald-in her chin, and he also watch as the breeze kicked up her skirt revealingabsolutely nothingunderneath, as well as her top holdingnothing back~
She was going full commando-Jiraiya would be so proud and happy for him.
All in all, fucking sexy he would gladly admit.
Before he could make a comment, the gorgeous warrior spoke up, "Before we get into the match, there is something I wish to say to you, the one and only true warrior amongst these cretins."
"Hoh?" William arched a brow, "And what exactly is it you wish to state, something about our fight no doubt?" he asked
The blondes eyes lit up as she beamed happily,"Yes~"she exclaimed happily, "You are incredible to have deduced my thoughts before I could even get them out." she called out happily while she bounced in place.
It didwonderfulthings to her chest~
Focus man!
"Very well then, I, a generous Lord, shall allow this." he told her, "You may lay down your terms." he stated.
"Ok, here are the ground rules." she said smiling, "You can punch me, kick me, pull my hair." she told William as she began counting fingers, "I am a-ok with being stabbed." she smirked, "Biting and scratching are on the table." she told the now shell shocked Schnee heir, "You can use fire." she stated as his jaw dropped to the floor.
"These are the ground rules?" he questioned in shock, "Is there anything off limits?" he questioned her moral sanity.
The reason he came to that conclusion was becausethischick was one of four possible types of women;
A-a kinky girl who knew what she wanted, and was looking for a future husband to enjoy her obvious kinks with.
B-a girl was into S (which he was most certainly not into) in which, he might need to have someone look into her mental stability.
C-A battle maniac that got turned on by option B while trying to get someone to agree to option A, in which case, Adult Supervision was a must.
Or she wasOption D: Just plain fucking crazy... which meant All the Above.
The blond girl quirked a brow as she leaned back, "Damn man, you got something really sick you wanna do, huh? You little pervert." she grinned at him, William wanted to take a step back.
At this point he truly was considering asking for adult supervision to be around this chick.
Sexy she might be, but-once again-he wasn't into S .
"Alright, I like it." she grinned as she bobbed her head excitedly, "Don't tell me, surprise me." she said as her eyes lit up, "Ooh this is gonna be fun!" she called out happily as she clapped and rubbed her hands together eagerly in excitement.
Oh... fuck...she was an Option D~!
Shaking the thoughts out of his brain, William straightened himself up, "Now, before we begin, I wish to ask you something?" he asked her.
"But ofcourseyou can ask me anything! I amalwayshappy to talk with people~" the eager blond said happily as she almost begun to dance in her place.
William snorted as he smirked, "Tell me...what is your name?" he asked her.
"Draco, my name is Quetzalcoatl Draco..." she answered him.
He immediately knew the name.
How could he not, there was tell that her own grandfather was in attendance today. The man was a legend in his own right, and the only one that had actually given Nicholas Schnee a hard time in a fight.
In fact, it washergrandfather who had put the Schnee name out there in the first place-the SDC was an entirely different matter-and the reason it was so famous.
She was from the 'Serpent' Family.
A Faunus family known for their unique abilities all around the globe. The one thing that they all shared in common-aside from their wickedly sharp teeth; and love for all things combat related apparently-was that they were Snake Faunus that could use their traits in a similar manner to that of a territorial animal when using their Intimidation Display.
Theirs was a series of scales that grew out of the shoulder's and neck that expunged a blend of chemical agents that could paralyze anyone who inhaled the blend of enzymes. Now, it wasn't the chemical's that gave them the name that made them famous as a family-though it did tie into the fame in a manner; oh no, not at all.
That, went to the unique form of the families Intimidation Display itself as the scales flared outwards in a manner that resembled a feathered plum like that of a bird as it ruffled its feathers.
And hers were out already, hidden in her unique outfit in the form of a disguise that hid them in plain sight. The green scales were out in the open for all to see in their beautiful, but deadly, glory.
Quetzalcoatl smiled as she held a hand out and motioned at him, "And there is no need to introduce yourself, the entire world knows who you are!" she said eagerly, her smile growing in excitement,"William Schnee the hero of the city of Mistal and Guardian of Atlas." she said happily.
"To many damn title's these days." William spoke, "But, praise is praise, and the world over will come to shower me in it when I take my rightful place." he stated-somewhat mysteriously-to Quetzalcoatl as he began to approach her, the female brawler following his lead.
To Quetz-as her family loved to call her-William Schnee released an aura that screamed power. Demanding everyone to gaze upon him as he lead himself to glory and those who followed. His aura-not his literal aura-commanded loyalty and would make one obedient if forced to do so.
Such a turn on~
William took one last step towards his opponent and stood face to face, standing an entire chin taller than the young woman. Quetzalcoatl smirked eagerly as she raised her eyes at her opponent as William merely looked down into her eyes. Without ever uttering a word of acknowledgement, William threw a powerful right hook that made Quetzalcoatl's head snap around with a thundering explosion of raw power. However, Quetzalcoatl rose back up and threw her own right hook that smashed into William's face causing it to turn.
The two teens couldn't help themselves and grinned at one another, as they had finally found somebody they could call an equal for their fight.
Without even hesitating the two once more threw earthshaking left hooks that connected to the other's chin at the same exact second that created momentous shockwaves-their heads snapping away from the sheer force of the blows they had unleashed on the other.

"GAH~!" Winter cried out in shock at the raw power the two were giving off as they collided, she felt herself almost falling out of her seat from the sheer power that rumbled the stands.
"Such raw power..." Weiss said with awe filled eyes.
"So this is how much he held back?" Pyrrha asked herself as she watched them trade a dozen more powerful blows that rocked the stadium, filling the air around them with the sounds of crashing thunder from force alone, dust blasting away with each crashing strike delivered between the two of them.
(.0.0.0.)
Quetzalcoatl grinned as she launched another fist into his chin while drawing the other back, "Astonishing, you're the first person I've ever encountered that actually took one of my blows aside from my Papa and Grandfather!" she exclaimed happily, "The power that can topple even the God's is strong within you!" she bellowed out, "I can feel it, so show me all what you can do!" she cried happily.
"Heh." William grinned.
"Show me more!? Grant me the right to witness that power!" Quetzalcoatl exclaimed as she punched William in the face forcing him to slide back.
"I'm quite surprised, to think you could actually make me of all people feel pain so readily... it's quite amusing!" William said as he leapt up into the air. As he came back down he smashed his fist into the girl's skull,"BUT IT'S ONLY A PUNY SENSATION!"he bellowed out.
The air around them around was filled with dust from the collision of power as Quetzalcoatl's stunned face actually met the ground as the ground beneath shattered like glass from the effortless power that came with the blow. William stood tall and pointed down at Quetzalcoatl, "If that was the best you could do then I'm sorely disappointed. I felt nothing. No sensation or conviction within your hits." William said pointedly.
In the blink of an eye Quetzalcoatl was up as she grinned at William, and then spun her hips as she crashed a powerful fist into William's face, "Don't sound..." she yelled out as she struck with her opposing right fist, "so disappointed!" she declared.
However, as if he hadn't even been fazed by the powerful hits, William smashed his face into Quetzalcoatl's own causing the girl to actually stumble back from the blow. As she recovered, Quetzalcoatl smashed a fist upwards into William's chin with great force. Recovering quickly, William smashed his elbow into the blonde's face, his hand flat while his thumb was curled inward.

From her position in the stands, Weiss was sweating nervously as she watched the two battle for dominance. Each blast threatened to crush her from the sheer force.
Next to the Schnee women; Pyrrha could only stare at the two unparalleled fighters, "I can't believe he is actually keeping up with the descendant of the Feathered Serpent..."
Weiss grunted as another blow connected between the two, "Even so, she is still the only one taking the damage. William is just recovering to fast."
"The problem isn't the damage dealt or if William is disciplined enough to contend with her, it's time." Willow stated as the wind buffeted her hair.
Weiss and Winter looked to their mother, baffled.
"What do you mean?" Weiss asked.
"The fights between each contender is limited, as we saw yesterday when Willy and Pyrrha as they exceeded the limit and were forced to draw." his mother explained-his sisters smirking when she used the old nickname.
"But, their Auras are dropping with each blow, surely it's only a matter of minutes before they exhaust themselves from the effort." Winter remarked.
"No, not quite." Willow said as she pointed to the meter's on the screen, "See their level's, they're both recovering at the same rate, which means they could trade the same level of blows and retain the exact same power for the remainder of the fight and not have to worry about the level of Aura they have with each time they strike. They're using incredible force, yes, but even then, their sheer amount of power isn't truly making a dent in their Aura." she remarked, "When they begin using their Semblances, that is when the tide of battle will truly begin to change, and what happens...
A triumphant cry had all eyes looking back to the arena.
...is anyone's guess." she finished.
(.0.0.0.)
With a bloody chin Quetzalcoatl looked to the untouched William, "Out of all of the opponent's that I have fought in my life, you truly are the mightiest. I can see why you were chosen to inherit his will." she tilted her head, setting her hair swaying, "To think that even with all my power I have, you would be so powerful as to actually match me blow for blow." she said before grinning, "However, you cannot beat me as you are now while holding yourself back."
Even as she spoke, her wounds healed in a matter of seconds.
"So, from here on out," her grin became feral, "I will use the full force of my power to defeat you."
And with that, she swiped a hand through the air, heat expelling from her hand as she raised it, only for raw flame to erupt around her body as she dropped her hand, William's eyes widening as he came to realize just what it was she possessed.
Naruto reeled, eyes wide, a grin splitting his face.
So that was why it felt so familiar...she possessed Chakra!
And it wasn't just a little amount of chakra either, oh fuck no it was not! This girl had enough chakra in her to make Madara fucking Uchiha take pause, and he had nearly died to the man!
However... that knowledge only cemented his excitement for the fight as he realized why his gut had been telling him to prepare, to choose what he had accepted before he had entered the arena to do battle...It was to ensure that this moment... was forever ingrained into the minds of this fallen world who relied to much on their little toys what they had forgotten oh so long ago!
With that, he raised his arms up to shoulder height at either side, and opened to silver disks of energy that led to some of the deeper reaches of his collection. And with that, he summoned them~! The twin gauntlets slowly emerging from their place to slide onto his arms with no hassle, gasps of shock and exclamations of wonder filling the air as he dismissed the portals he had called them from.
What William had just summoned is a very easily recognized weapon to anyone on the face of Remnant.
Considered to be not only a unique and powerful weapon, but a one of a kind weapon that could destroy entire armies outright.
As famous as they were infamous on all sides of conflict they had been a part of.
The mere fact he was pulling these out of his gate showed how cornered William was... but the only issue with him doing so, was the simple fact that their creator had personally destroyed them so as to never risk war again... and that same owner had become the founder of the most powerful energy business in the world...
The Schnee Dust Company founded by his own Grandfather;Nicholas Schnee!
These, were known to the world of Remnant as the Meteor Gauntlets...
They were called as such for the sheer force of power that could be unleashed, as accounts told from old stories from the war of the damage unleashed by a single strike would level a small town.
The real name of the Gauntlets had been obscured in myth and legend now by twisting of tales from older veterans of the war.
The unique thing about the Meteor Gauntlets was that they required a even more unique source of power, which made sense as to why he had summoned them now due to the very outfit William had donned before the fight had begun. It is that of a scaly black steel that shaped the gauntlets themselves; which were crafted from one of the strongest metals in the world; Libertas Tritanium.
An alloy that combined nearly thirty different and unique alloy metals to form a singular steel unit that was nigh indestructible in composition.
Nichols Schnee-who had invented the metal through various trial and error runs-had taken the secret of crafting this steel to his grave, and the blueprints for the weapon he used to fight in the Faunus War were destroyed to prevent any recreations of his famous gauntlets. The gauntlets snarled as the energy they released suddenly reach William's biceps. At the forearms are the main systems-sporting two large black pipes on each forearm
A robotic and synthetic speaker fills the air as the gauntlets awaken for the first time in nearly sixty years, 'Unlocking limiters FS-1002 through FS-1005, primary power online. Biological markers accepted. Authorization of use clear.'
Winter gasped in horror as she unconsciously covered her mouth, the crowd exclaiming their own variations of shock and fear of the infamous weaponry brought forth to bear, the world itself came screeching to a halt as various groups and people gazed upon the weapons.
Willow herself was shaking in untold emotions.
Seeing those gauntlets... it opened many memories she hadn't thought back on in decades... But the only ones she could voice were of concern, "H-How did he... when did he... that's impossible! They were destroyed, when did he recreate the Meteor Gauntlet's?!" Willow felt herself cry out.
Seen as the weapon's of ultimate power and destruction for the human side during the days of the Faunus Wars, these gauntlets were forever transformed in the ensuing conflict of the battle that took place.
Their true name was carved into the metal plates of the gauntlets...
"No... way..." Weiss spoke slowly, her eyes widening to critical proportions in her skull. Her entire being was screaming in terror at the sight of the twin gloves her twin had just donned in open view, telling her to run, to flee as far as she could and as fast as she could.
However, the gauntlets had merely turned themselves on, they hadn't secured themselves to the host body of the armor, a golden glow pulsating with each plate of steel locking together to secure the gauntlets to the armor, a resounding roar that sounded almost as if the crashing of thunder filled the air as they activate, swathes of golden electricity snarling around his body as they activate.
'Neural link established, welcome Lord Schnee. Driver and Cellular synchronization is established at 100% strength.'the robotic voice spoke,'Activation Protocol is now complete'
The world was on the edge of its seat now more than ever. It was the mere fact that the simple unveiling of these weapons that had just changed the entire world of Remnant. By bringing them out to go against his opponent-and to use them in order to fight a FAUNUS~of all people-could very likely spark an all out war...
However, there was one thing Nicholas had NEVER-EVER-remotely mentioned to anyone, not friend, not family, not even his fellow soldiers and workers when they asked about his nigh infamous gauntlets...
Nicholas' dear friend Ozymandias never knew the horrifying truth... he had never questioned the sheer depths of their power when he witnessed them in action...
Even his dearly beloved Freya had never known the horrifying truth of his weapons...
The secret about these gauntlets was that they were the first and only successful fusion between human technology, and Grimm remains harvested from the corpse of a ancient and powerful Alpha Wyvern Class Grimm and infused into the weaponry itself to increase their power nigh a hundred fold!
The only weapons of their kind in all the world, said to be so destructive that entire cities would crumble to dust if used at only half their true potential.
None in the crowd were exceptionally happy to see these gloves-much less in action as two kids fought against one another in a simple tournament.
But, if there was an exception, then it was only one...
Quetzalcoatl Draco's own Grandfather. The man known as the Serpent of Ultimate Destruction;Yhwach Draco-which roughly translated to Heavenly Dragon in older forms of language.
He was the very Faunus who had quite literally fought Nicholas Schnee what amounted to a thousand times without a single victory going to either of them-drawing the uncounted battles they had each and every time they encountered one another to a draw time and again for nearly ten years of conflict with one another.
The numerous stories spoken of their countless battles were legendary, as entire countries were evacuated to ensure the populations survival as the two of them tore the world apart for days on end each time the did battle. The battles shared between them scarred the lands, ripping the heavens down and sundering the earth for miles as they rewrote entire landscapes with each encounter.
In fact, it was their various battles against one another that turned the once lustrous landscape of Vacou into a barren desert that it was today
The two had been given the titles; Titan's of Remnant when spoken of in a single sentence deferring to the both of them at the same time. Much like he had been born with his father's Semblance before him, so too did his own son Ometeotl himself hold the SemblanceAtomic Degradation-and it did EXACTLY what it sounded like it did... for it broke down anything and everything at the atomic level-while his old rival Nicholas used his own Ice Based Semblance and seemingly overwhelming power granted to him by his gauntlets to match Yhwach blow for blow, their various encounters and battles lasting anywhere form three days to entire weeks at a time.
Atomic Degradation was considered to be the PINNACLE of all Semblance's in the history of Remnant.
And now, the very weapons used to contest that power had once again come out into the light of Remnant's sun.
For now, the Jörmungandr Phantasma, had come out in full scale.
Up in the stands among the civilian population, Quetzalcoatl's dear grandfather felt himself sit up straighter in his seat. He eyes now fully focused on the boy. He knew those weapons intimately, had fought against their maker countless times and had watched as they had been thrown into a vat of molten metal that melted them into nothingness and the scraps of metal sent to the bottom of the deepest place in the ocean for eternity.
Where had he acquired the metal?
How had he remade them?
For how long did he hide them from all those he know and love?
At the same time; Quetzalcoatl felt her power diminish as she took in the sight of the weapon William had brought forth, her own eyes widening in surprise as well as shock-and dare she say; excitement.
For the first time in sixty years, what could only be concluded-in her mind-as a reenactment of the stories shared to her by her grandfather came forth. A Schnee was about to fight against a member of the Feathered Serpent family line, the grandchildren of those very same men who had changed Remnant permanently, for the first time in a generation of their legacy.
A Clash of Titan's was brought back, and the world would be forever changed.
"How exciting." she said to herself as she looked at the gauntlets, "I had thought they were destroyed, but seeing them now, I can see the power and majesty that Grandfather told me of when he described them, the strength they could unleash was unlike anything ever experienced by a Faunus. I can't help but feel eager to test my strength against them now more than ever." she said as she looked at the gauntlets in silent awe.
William grinned, "Then let the real fight between the two of us, begin."
With his statement and challenge made, William crouched down, his body glowing for a second before he vanished in a displacement of air, the sound of the sound barrier shattering as he charged ahead filling the air around.
Quetzalcoatl had enough time to open her eyes in shock before William's hand grabbed the young woman by the face and took off, ripping both of them across the arena, and then shoving the girl into a wall outcropping in the arena, an explosion ripping through the air as the William slammed her into and through it, smoke-dust-debris filling the air as they hurtled through the air.
Quetzalcoatl tumbled through the air as she fought for control, with William releasing the hold on her face. Finally gaining traction, Quetzalcoatl stopped herself as she planted a hand on the ground to slow herself before she turned when she sensed William's presence behind, watching as he conjured up magenta/black spheres of energy from the gauntlets that shot out as tentacle-like appendages to wrap around her neck, arms, waist and legs.
She was bound in an instant with no way to move or fight back, and William's inner Shinobi definitely had something to say, "Let's see which of us can force the other to say mercy first!" and with a growl, the gauntlets activated as they fed off of William's power-golden electricity sparking around them before the energy within caused the power of the voltage to alter to its more potent form.
With a grunt, he unleashed an entire cities worth of electricity upon the blond, the electricity conjured from the gauntlets was a black/magenta in color and far more powerful than any other forms of lightning ever made using Dust Crystal.
Quetzalcoatl grinned as she channeled her power, "Then I will make sure to have you cry for more when I get you underneath me~"she responded, a shining blue aura covering her body before exploding outwards to rip the lightning apart and dissipate the tendrils that bound her in place in an explosion of flame.
William grunted as he was sent reeling back from the raw force of Quetzalcoatl's power, a hand rising to cover his face. Quetzalcoatl grinned in defiance, "It is inevitable." she told him, a fist clenching as she held it in front of her, assured in her victory over the Schnee heir seeing as she had an all powerful magic power,"It is already written…"she called back as she watched William recover.
With a growl, William leaps towards Quetzalcoatl with the combat lover following suit as the two of them draw their fists back, then throw them towards one another. A massive explosion ensues, a flash of light blinds the audience as they cover themselves from the impact, a shockwave of power washing over them.
William grunted when he landed and had to balance himself as he slid back and stopped. Raising a gauntlet, he clenched a fist while conjuring dark ebony colored lightning in his hands. With a leap he was airborne, and with a spin he threw the orbs of energy at his opponent.
Quetzalcoatl immediately brought up her own blast of lightning and dispersed the first, blocked the second, but was incapable of stopping the third and fourth ones as they slammed into her and caused her entire body to have spasms as the electricity coursed through her bones. Landing in a crouch, William surged his chakra once again, and vanished with a broken sound barrier.
A series of displacements filled the air as William ran around Quetzalcoatl at what could amount to hyper-sonic speeds, a cloud of dust rising up as he circled her, blinding Quetzalcoatl where she couldn't see. As Quetzalcoatl tried to gauge where William was, she was blindsided when William clotheslined her and sent the blond Faunus tumbling through the air, a fist slamming into her stomach caused the girl to stop in an instant before another fist slammed into the middle of her back, planting the blond into the dirt.
Strike after strike, William ran around and laid into Quetzalcoatl as fast as he could, the after images of each blow seen clearly as he laid punch upon punch into his opponents face.
Ten times.
Fifteen.
Twenty.
Forty.
The blows all struck her from various positions and forms. Left jabs. Right hooks. Uppercuts. Rear crosses, none missed their marks whenever he threw one at her.
With a final uppercut that staggered Quetzalcoatl, William slid away and came to a stop as he dug his hands into the ground, tearing it apart in the process. With a growl, he clenched his fist as he called upon the power of the Bijuu chakra he had left and channeled it into the gauntlets, expelling the excess out from his body like a purge of power.
A blood crimson aura shone around his body, and from Shukaku all the way to Kurama's chakra, immense levels of energy charged itself up and readied for battle as it mixed itself into the already indomitable powers that flowed through William's veins. He felt his body hunch over as he crossed his arms, his fists clenching as he fed all he could into the swell of energy. And then, a snarl tore itself from William's jaws as he gazed upon Quetzalcoatl and unshackled his limiters, an explosion ripping through the air.
BOOM~CRASH~FWA-BOOM~THOOM~FWOOM~
William's arms spread themselves widely as his power flowed through his veins and the sheer depths of his raw power pulled him up off the ground where he hovered in the air, the world beneath his feet ripping itself apart in the process, the land rippling as the arena floor was crushed into not but dust as a pillar of crimson light tore across the sky, stopping all forms of chatter among the stands as eyes in the stands went wide as they turned to the sight of the red/gold/white pillar of raw power.
Yhwach hummed in pleasant surprise. This was something he hadn't expected. Now while it was similar to the families own abilities, but he could tell immediately that this was something different...
Something ancient...
Something primal...
He also knew that he boy held a very different Semblance than the current trick he was trying to pull, the variety and different scores of weapons he had used the past week in various battles showed he had good skills for weapons combat, but the way he carried himself was all to like that of his rival. The lad was a fighter, yes, but he was forcing himself to rely on tricks and capabilities that went against his own natural talents as a fist fighter. Nicholas' grandson was handicapping himself to the point his power would dwindle in a few years time if he continued the way he was and didn't fight to the full extent of his capabilities.
Quetzalcoatl felt her eyes widen in shock, "Impossible, but that's-" she wasn't able to finish as the world shook from the sheer force of power being released by the Schnee where she stumbled in place as his immense power washed over her in the process of ripping the ground beneath her apart.
As far as Quetzalcoatl could tell it was her family's ability of Atomic Degradation.
And in truth, she wasn't that far off.
From the stories she heard, father had inherited it from grandfather, and he from his father before, and his own father who inherited it from his father who in turn inherited from his own as far back as several thousand years. Only a male 'Feathered Serpent'(not that she had any room to talk, because that was quite literally her name)could ever awaken the power to literally rip the fabric of creation apart, but this changed everything~!
Quetzalcoatl felt herself grinning more as he continued to impress upon her his limitless powers. Oh she just knew that Papa was gonn alove him~when she brought him home to meet the family!
However, her assumptions on the power she was witnessing was incredibly wrong.
By dying to Sasuke Uchiha in the war, allowing him to use his Rinnegan powers in the way he saw fit; all the Tailed Beast's had been destroyed, but what Sasuke had neglected to look into, was destroying Naruto's body. Even after killing his best friend, Sasuke couldn't bring himself to dishonor the one person who had believed in the good of people, and honored Sakura's wish-before he in turn killed her-and allowed himself to bury Naruto with honor and dignity.
The remnants of the Bijuu chakra had dispersed into the world around, waiting and seeking compatible hosts for their powers over the years, coalescing and increasing their power through sheer force of will until one day, they came upon a host with physical prowess so incredible, that the semi-sentient energy couldn't help but latch onto the young man. The young man in question had been a direct descendant of Gaara no Sabaku himself. Having been married to his own wife and unknowingly siring a child before he had been murdered in his Infinite Tsukuyomi state, Gaara himself had created potentially one of the most powerful bloodline's in all history.
As the pillar of light blazed through the sky, piercing the atmosphere above, a dome of energy roared into being around William before the explosion of energy expanded, the sights and sound of pure destruction followed, the crimson energy expelling itself from William's body, tearing the remnants of the central ring apart, followed by the ground beneath, and surrounding sections of the walls as the energy crashed into the barrier and rocked the entire stadium and rattled the world for miles.
Quetzalcoatl was given no remorse as the energy slammed into her body and engulfed her body as William's power tore an entire area apart with extreme ease.
If he were alive, Kurama himself would have been damn impressed by the display of raw power.
As for Yhwach, he approved as well.
Hmm, maybe he could talk the boy into wedding little Quetzi? Now there was an idea!
A/N: Aaaand scene~!
Would you like this bad boy to receive weekly updates? Yay or nay!
As ever, we're sticking with the tried and true "Embers" Rule for this story.
If folks don't like it...well, it won't be continued. So speak up! Make yourself heard! Your voice matters! That's no joke!
I have very little time to write these days, so feedback plays a large part in this. Daily updates ensure that I'm constantly busy working on one project or another. I cannot afford to stop and write something that folks don't like; if only because I feel that would a cold disservice to those of who who have stuck with me for so long.
So in the Immortal Words of Atlas...Review...Would You Kindly?
