Turn 18; Family Duel
With the winds finally blowing a man that looked like David and Aaron, but he had a big backpack on his back, cargo pants, a long sleeve shirt that was rolled up, garden gloves tied to his waist that had a teal lightning bolt on them and all of them were light brown. As for his Duel Disc and Board they had a thunder cloud theme. Once he landed on Hokusei, he said so much cheer and spirit. "I'm home. I'm home!" He then laughed and said. "Alright Lee Fisher, let's go see my amazing queen and princess." The man named Lee then started to fly to Duelist Soul.
On a starry night, Wendy and David were standing next to a gravestone. Both of them smiled until David disappeared in a flash of flames. *That night, as we counted the stars after the rain passed. We saw a wavering reflection of the world in a falling raindrop.* Wendy then blinked and found herself on the hill overlooking Hokusei as the Union Festival was in full swing. *All beings live with ambivalence, each but a flicker amid these days that fly by.* Wendy left the hill thinking it was a dream and then found her friends and their family having fun. *The flowers that so quickly scatter and the gusting wind. Are proof that this passing moment existed.* Then her Ace Monster along with her friends appeared around then and looked for Darkwing's agents. *The song reaching out far and wide to all who live within this moment. Will urge everyone live in freedom to the very end.* Darkwing then got Song, Digi, and his agent got ready to fight Wendy and her friends. Above them was a Pendulum Arc opening and the silhouette of a dragon inside. *We will find the way. We are all travelers, each carrying a seed of hope." Wendy and Darkwing then started to fight with Wendy using Fairy Code Dragon and Darkwing using some kind of cyborg dragon. *Beginning and ending walk hand in hand.* Darkwing then jumped back and appearing beside him was Tiger, Zero, Red, White, and Black Knight. *A true miracle as time continues its journey.* Fox was behind all of them and created a very powerful Link Circuit. Then as days passed they showed everyone getting ready for the tournament.
At Duelist Soul, Olivia was helping Romeo and Sherria with a Duel Disc and Deck. "I still can't believe Wendy, Romeo, and Sherria are for another world." Olivia said as she almost finished Romeo and Sherria Duel Disc. Sofia then said to her mom as she and the others were working on their entry form for the Union Festival Tournament. "I couldn't believe it either Mom."
"You didn't tell them that you were from another world?" Sherria said to Wendy and Wendy said. "I didn't have a moment to breathe after arriving here and when I did, I forgot." Then the bell to the front door of Duelist Soul rang and Lee said as he entered and put the backpack down. "I'm home."
"Dad!" Sofia said as she stopped working on her entry form and ran to give Lee a big hug. Lee returned the hug and said. "Hey my princess. It's good to see you again."
"Sofia, is this your dad?" Wendy said as Lee saw all of them. Sofia then said to everyone. "Yeah. Everyone, this is my Dad, Lee Fisher."
"Hello. I've got to say Sofia, it's nice to see all of the new friends you've made." Lee said to Sofia, and before Sofia could say anything. Maire said to Sofia. "Excuse me, but I have to ask? Why does your dad look like David and Aaron?"
"Tight gene pool. On my Dad's side of the family." Sofia said before Lee said. "Wait? Sofia, do your friends know about David and Aaron?"
"Yeah. Wendy, Sherria, and Romeo are leaving with David. And Maire and Henry are staying with Aaron."
"So David has finally got out of his shell. That's great to hear." Lee said before Olivia walked in and said. "Welcome home honey." Olivia then kissed Lee's check. Lee smiled and said. "Thanks, but what were you doing? I texted you that I was on my way home, but you didn't reply."
"Oh, sorry I was building these." Olivia said before pulling out two Duel Discs, one had a water theme and the other had a fire theme. As Olivia gave the water one to Sherria and the fire one to Romeo, Lee put his stuff away. However, the moment Lee saw the entry form for the Union Festival Tournament, Lee dropped his gear and returned to the others with Sofia's entry forms. They didn't notice Lee, because they were checking out Sherria and Romeo's Duel Disc, until Lee said. "This isn't what I think it is, is it?"
"Yeah, that's my entry form."
"Not anymore." Lee said before tearing it into pieces. Sofia gasped and said. "Dad! Why did you do that?!"
"To protect you." Lee said before Wendy said. "Protect her from what?"
"Yeah, the tournament is safe." Rose said before Lee said. "It's not the tournament that isn't dangerous, it's the per-tournament that is dangerous."
"What do you mean?" Wendy said and then Lee said. "Since anyone who wins the tournament will be the all star for their island. A lot of people do anything to win, and that includes seriously hurting people before the tournament starts."
"We can handle it." James said before Henry said. "Yeah, James and I are more than enough to handle them. Just like when we were dealing with everyone on Ritual Island."
"What?" Lee said before Olivia said. "Yeah, uh… You see Maire is the princess of Ritual Island, and Sofia and her friends save her from a coup."
"What?!" Lee said and then Prank said. "Plus Sofia is strong too. She did stop a major school bully and someone trying to steal from the museum."
"Sofia is this true?" Lee said to Sofia, who then said to Lee. "Yes, Dad."
"And when did all of this trouble start?"
"Not long after I meet Wendy."
"In that case. Wendy, be a dear and stay away from Sofia!" Lee yelled at Wendy. Wendy was in shock and Sofia said to her dad. "Dad, Wendy isn't at fault for my actions."
"No, but the moment you meet, you have been in danger. And as your father, I must keep you safe, even from people who get you into trouble."
"Dad, Wendy didn't cause any trouble. We just happened to find it." Sofia said to her dad. Lee then grabbed Wendy's arm and said. "So, she is a trouble magnet, that's even more of a reason to remove her." Then as Lee took Wendy to the door, Sofia stepped in front of her dad and said. "Dad, stop, I mean it."
"Sofia…"
"No, Dad, listen! Wendy is my friend, and I am going to enter the Union Festival. And you aren't going to stop me."
"Oh…?" Lee said, noticing a fire in his daughter's eyes. Lee then let go of Wendy and said to Sofia. "Alright. Then let's have a duel. You win, then I won't stop you from being friends with Wendy, and letting you enter the Union Festival . But if I win, you aren't going to be friends with Wendy or any of her friends and you won't enter the Union Festival. Deal?"
"Deal!" Sofia said and then both of them got ready for her duel and everyone else moved to an area inside the store for duels. As Sofia and Lee were getting ready, Wendy said to Sherria and Romeo. "Are you two ready to watch your first duel?"
"Yes, but I still have some questions about duels." Romeo said and then James said. "Then pay attention."
"Let's Duel!" Maire and Lee said before starting their duel.
Lee's Hand 5 + LP 8000 / Sofia's Hand 5 + LP 8000 / Turn 1
"Let's see how far your dueling skill has improved since I've been gone." Lee said before Sofia said. "Ok, I'll start by playing a monster face down and also two more cards." (Sofia's Hand 2) On Sofia's field a face down monster appeared on her field and two face down appeared in her Spell and Trap Card Zone. "I end my turn." Sofia said, ending her turn. Then Sherria said to Sofia. "Sofia, why didn't you summon a monster."
"She did." James said to Sherria and Romeo. Romeo then said to James. "What are you talking about?"
"She played a monster in defense mode, and they must be played face down. So they don't appear until they are flipped face up." Rose said to Sherria and Romeo. Then Lee took his turn by saying. "My turn. I draw."

"If that's all you've learned, then this won't take long. First I'll play this face down, and then I summon Tenshin." (Lee's Hand 4) Lee said before a small warrior in angelic armor appeared on his field.

"And since I control a Level 2 Monster, I can summon Spright Carrot from my Hand." (Lee's Hand 3) Lee said as a woman with red electricity appeared on the field.

"Next I play the Spell Card, Spright Starter." (Lee's Hand 2) Lee said showing them a card with electricity forming in the center. "This card lets me summon Spright Blue from my Deck." Lee said a small kid with blue electricity appeared on the field.

"But I used my Spell Card, I must pay Life Points equal to Blue's Attack Points." Lee said as Blue hit Lee with some of his electricity. (Lee's LP 8000 - Spright Blue ATK 1100 = 6900) "It was a small price, because of Blue's ability, I can add Spright Red to my Hand. And thanks to Red's ability, I can summon her." Lee said as another kid appeared, but had red electricity instead of blue.

"Whoa, Lee summoned a lot of monsters." Romeo said before Prank said. "Yeah, but why are they just Level 2 monsters? Lee can't win with them."
"Yes I can, little lady. You see, Tenshin gains 400 Attack Points for each Level 2 monster I control. And last time I checked I have four Level 2 monsters." Lee said as Tenshin started to glow and gain long glowing angelic wings. (400 x 4 = 1600 / Tenshin ATK 800 + 1600 = 2400) "Now Tenshin! Attack my daughters face down!" Lee said Tenshin changed at Sofia's face down, which flipped and was ReSolfachord Dreamia.
ReSolfachord Dreamia / Wind / Level 2 / Fairy, Pendulum, Effect / ATK 600 / DEF 400
"Not so fast Dad. I play my Trap Card; Half Unbreak." Sofia said as a bubble wrap around Dreamia. Sherria then said to Wendy. "What just happened?"
"Sofia's trap keeps her monster safe, and halves the damage." Wendy said before Romeo said. "But does not defense mode protect Sofia from damage?"
"Yes, but she still has protected her monsters." Rose said before Lee said. "No, she didn't." Everyone turned to Lee and Lee said pointing to Carrot. "With Carrot on my field, and you play a Spell or Trap Card, I can send one of my Level 2 Monsters, like Blue, to my Graveyard and negate your trap's effect." The Carrot turned Blue into pure energy that destroyed the bubble around Dreamia. Lee then said to Sofia. "Tenshin may have lost 400 Attack Points, but he is still more than enough power to beat your monster." Lee said as Tenshin charged at Dreamia (Tenshin ATK 2400 - 400 = 2000) Tenshin then punched Dreamia, destroying her. Sofia then said to her father. "I still have my other Trap, Pendulum Reborn." Sofia said as Dreamia appeared on the field. Romeo then said to Wendy. "Didn't Lee just destroy that monster, how is it back?"
"Sofia's trap lets her summon one Pendulum monster that is face up in her Extra Deck or in her Graveyard. That's how Sofia summoned Dreamia again." James said before Lee said. "That won't stop me, Sofia. Carrot, take down her Dreamia." Carrot then fired electricity at Dreamia, destroying her again. "Now Red attack Sofia directly!" Lee said as Red fired some electricity at Sofia and Soifa got a shock. (Sofia's LP 8000 - Spright Red ATK 1200 = 6800) Then Sherria said to Olivia. "Is Lee not going to take it easy on Sofia?"
"Yeah, Lee doesn't hold back on anything. So he thought he's dueling his daughter, but he's not going to hold back." Olivia said before Lee said to Sofia. "Now that about evens it. I will end my turn, so let's see what you can do."

Sofia said as she pulled Dreamia from her Extra Deck. (Sofia's Hand 2) "Next I play Fancia's ability. I can add one of my Solfachord monsters to my Extra Deck." Sofia said, taking a card out of her Deck and placed it into her Extra Deck. "Next I set my Scale 3 LaSolfachord Angelia with my Scale 7 ReSolfachord Dreamia." (Sofia's Hand 0) Sofia said as SolSolfachord Gracia and ReSolfachord Dreamia appeared in Pendulum Pillars.

(ReSolfachord Dreamia Scale 7 + ReSolfachord Dreamia Level 2 = 9) "Now it's time for the show to begin." Sofia said as the Pendulum Arc opened. "I Pendulum Summon from my Extra Deck, TiSolfachord Beautia." Sofia said before TiSolfachord Beautia appeared out of the Pendulum Arc.

"Nice job Sofia." Wendy said before Sofia said. "Thanks. Now Beautia attack Carrot." Beautia then hit Carrot with a powerful musical sonic attack that destroyed Carrot and caused some damage to Lee. (TiSolfachord Beautia ATK 2500 - Spright Carrot ATK 1000 = 1500 / Lee's LP 6900 - 1500 = 5400) "Now Fancia attack Red." Sofia said and Fancia attacked Red with a musical sonic attack too. It destroyed Red and dealt little damage to Lee. (FaSolfachord Fancia ATK 1600 - Spright Red ATK 1200 = 400 / Lee's LP 5400 - 400 = 5000) "And since you lost Carrot and Red, your Tenshin loses 800 Attack Points." Sofia said as Tenshin wings lost some glow. (Tenshin ATK 2000 - 800 = 1200) Lee then said to Sofia. "Well done, but can you keep it up?"
"Yes I can. But for now, I will end my Turn." Sofia said before Dreamia Scale returned to normal. (ReSolfachord Dreamia Scale 9 - ReSolfachord Dreamia Level 2 = 7) Then Lee said drawing his card. "Ok, I draw."

"I'll start this turn with the Continuous Spell Card; Overlay Network." Lee said as a Spell Card that had an overlay network appeared on his field. (Lee's Hand 2) "With this card I can take Blue from my Graveyard and place him on my field in defense mode." Lee said as Blue appeared out of a black portal. "Blue may have lost his ability, but that doesn't matter. I Overlay my Level 2 Tenshin with my Level 2 Spright Blue. With these two monsters I can build the Overlay Network." Lee said as both of them turned into energy and entered an Overlay Network. "I Xyz Summon Rank 2 Daigusto Phoenix!" Lee said as a phenix with green flames appeared on Lee's field.

"Next, I play the Spell Card, Spright Gamma Burst." Lee said, showing a card that had lighting hitting Blue and Red. (Lee's Hand 1) "With these Spell card my Phoenix gains 1400 attack points until the end of the turn." Lee said as electricity entered his Phoenix. (Daigusto Phoenix ATK 1500 + 1400 = 2900) "Next I play my Phoenix ability. By removing one Overlay Unit, then a Wind monster, like my Phoenix, can attack twice this turn." Lee said as Phoenix ate one of his Overlay Units. (Daigusto Phoenix Overlay 2 - 1 = 1) "Now Daigusto Phoenix, attack both of Sofia's monsters with Inferno Storm Breath!" Lee said before Phoenix fired a steam of green fire and blue electricity at Sofia's monster destroying them both. (Daigusto Phoenix ATK 2900 - TiSolfachord Beautia ATK 2500 = 400 / Sofia's LP 6900 - 400 = 6500 / Daigusto Phoenix ATK 2900 - FaSolfachord Fancia ATK 1600 = 1300 / Sofia's LP 6500 - 1300 = 5200) After that was all done, I'll play this card Face down and end my turn. "Before you make a move, let me show you my Trap Card, Gravity Bind." Lee said, showing a Trap Card that had a green net over an energy orb. "With this Trap Card, we both can't attack with monsters that have Level 4 or more." Lee said as gravity trapping Beautia and Coolia. Sofia then said to Lee. "Fine, I'll activate my Field Spell other effects and add Fancia back to my Hand." Sofia then added Fancia back to her Hand from her Extra Deck. (Sofia's Hand 1) "And with that I end my turn." Sofia said before Dreamia Scale returned to normal. (ReSolfachord Dreamia Scale 9 - ReSolfachord Dreamia Level 2 = 7) Then Lee said drawing his card. "Ok, I draw."

"First I use Overlay Network effect, and add Phoenix last Overlay Unit to my Hand." Lee said a Phoenix last Overlay returned to Lee's Hand. (Lee's Hand 2) "And since I control a Rank 2 monster, I can special summon both Blue and Spright Jet from my Hand." Lee said summoning Blue and a new monster with light blue electricity.

"And because I summoned them that way, I can add a new monster and a new Spell or Trap Card to my Hand." Lee said, drawing two new cards. "Now I special summon another Red from my Hand." Lee said as another Red appeared on the field. "Next I play another Spright Starter to summon another Carrot." Lee said as another Carrot appeared and Lee was hit with its electricity. (Lee's Hand 0 / Lee's LP 5000 - Spright Carrot ATK 1000 = 4000) "Now I create my Thundering Circuit!" Lee said making a Link Circuit. Lee then said to everyone. "The Summoning conditions are 2 monsters that include a Level 2 Monster, so I set Spright Red and Spright Carrot in the Link Arrows." Lee said as Red and Carrot turned into tornadoes and hit the top right and bottom left arrows. "I Link Summon, Link 2 Spright Sprind!" Lee said golem with blue and red electricity appeared on the field.

"And when Sprind is Link Summoned, I can send a Monster from my Deck to the Graveyard." Lee said, taking out a Monster from his Deck and pleased it in his Graveyard. But then a Black Portal opened and out came an angler fish.

Prank then said as everyone was looking at the angler fish. "What just happened?"
"This is Nimble Angler, and when he is sent to the Graveyard from my Hand or Deck, I can use his ability to Special Summon up to 2 Level 3 or lower "Nimble" monsters from my Deck. So I summoned two Nimble Beaver's from my Deck." Lee said as Angler shot two beavers out from its mouth before disappearing.
Nimble Beaver / Water / Level 2 / Beast, Effect / ATK 400 / DEF 100
"Now I Overlay my 2 Level 2 Nimble Beaver to create a second Overlay Network." Lee said as both Beaver turned into energy and entered another Overlay Network. "I Xyz Summon, Rank 2 Cat Shark!" Lee said as a small cat that had shark fins for the front pows and a shark tail appeared after the Overlay Network exploded.

Cat Shark was in Defence Mode and then Lee said. "Now I overlay My Level 2 Spright Jet with my Link 2 Sprind!"
"Wait, you can't use a Link monsters to Xyz Summon?" Wendy said before Lee said as an Overlay Network started to form. "I can for this monster!" Then Jet and Sprind turned into energy and entered the Overlay Network. "Behold the most powerful monster in my Deck, the one that rules over all Sprights, Rank 2 Gigantic Spright!" Lee said as the Overlay Network exploded with blue electricity and then a giant suit of armor captured the energy and then it roared at Sofia and the others.

"That's Lee's Ace Monster. Sofia is in trouble." Olivia said before Maire said. "How so?"
"I'll show you. Because I have an Extra Deck monster as an Overlay Unit, like Sprind, his Attack Points are doubled." Lee said as Gigantic got even bigger, while letting out surges of blue energy (Gigantic Spright ATK 1600 x 2 = 3200) "Then by using one Overlay Unite I can summon Pixies from my Deck." Lee said as Gigantic crushed an Overlay Unite and then from his hand came a new Spright, one that was a ball that had many arms. (Gigantic Spright Overlay Unite 2 - 1 = 1)
Spright Pixies / Dark / Level 2 / Thunder, Effect / ATK 1400 / DEF 1400
"Now I create my Dark Circuit." Lee said, making another Link Circuit. "The Summoning conditions are 2 Dark type monsters, so I set Spright Blue and Spright Pixies in the Link Arrows." Lee said as Blue and Pixies turned into purple tornados and hit the bottom right and left arrows. "I Link Summon, Link 2 Wee Witch's Apprentice!" Lee said before a little witch appeared on the field riding her broom.

"Now as long as Witch is on the field, all Dark Monsters gain 500 Attack Point and Defence Points and all Light Monsters lose 400 Attack Point and Defence Points." Lee said as Witch used her magic at Gigantic, which gave him a purple glow around him making him a little stronger. (Gigantic Spright ATK 3200 + 500 = 3700 / DEF 1600 + 500 = 2100 / Wee Witch's Apprentice ATK 1400 + 500 = 1900) "Next I use Cat Shack ability to double Gigantic original Attack Points, and thanks to his special ability, his original Attack Points are currently 3200, which means Gigantic gain 3200 more Attack Points." Lee said as Cat kicked an Overlay to Gigantic and it gave him even more power and size, looking like he was about to explode. (Gigantic Spright ATK 3700 + 3200 = 6900)
"I see why it's his Ace Monster." James said before Lee said. "Now Gaigantic attack Beautia. Crush her with your power." Gigantic then smashed Beautia and a mass amout of electricity hit Sofia. (Gigantic Spright ATK 6900 - TiSolfachord Beautia ATK 2500 = 4400 / Sofia's LP 5200 - 4400 = 800) "And with that I end my turn. Now are you ready to surrender?" Lee said as Gigantic shrunk and lowered the energy output a little. (Gigantic Spright ATK 6900 - 3200 = 3700) Sofia then said to her Dad. "I'm not going to surrounder."
"Yes you will. You always give up after I summon Gigantic."
"Maybe in the past, but not now. I draw." Sofia said before drawing her card.

"First I summon DoSolfachord Cutia!" Sofia said summoning Cutia. (Sofia's Hand 1)

"When Cutia is summoned I can add a Solfachord monster to my Hand, plus I am using my Field Spell to add my Beautia back to my Hand." Sofia said as two card entered from her Hand, one from her Deck and her Extra Deck. (Sofia's Hand 3) "Next I'll raise Dreamia's Scale once again." Sofia said as Dreamia fairy raised her Scale again. (ReSolfachord Dreamia Scale 7 + ReSolfachord Dreamia Level 2 = 9) "With this scale, I will create a show stopper, I Pendulum Summoning back to the stage, FaSolfachord Fancia and TiSolfachord Beautia, plus joining the show is SolSolfachord Gracia!" Sofia said as all three monsters appeared on the field.

Lee looked at all of her monsters and said. "So you have five monsters, so what? Thanks to Gravity Bind, all but Cutia are unable to attack me." Then gravity trapped all of Sofia's monsters, but Cutia. Sofia then said to Lee. "Not after I use Gracia ability. We she is summoned, I can add a Solfachord Spell or Trap card. So I add and play the Spell Card, Solfachord Scale." The Spell Card shows Cutia, Coolia, and their fairy playing together. "Since I control 7 Solfachord with different names, all of your face up cards are destroyed." Sofia said as all of Solfachord started to play powerful music that pulled all of Lee's monsters, his Overlay Network, and his Gravity Bind into a black portal, leaving him with just his face down. Sofia then said to Lee. "See Dad, I'm not a scared little girl anymore."
"No, you're not." Lee said, looking at Sofia, who then said to her monsters. "Alright, Coolia, Beautia attack my Dad deeratly, and everyone else, cheer them on!" Then all of her monsters made a powerful sound attack together. Lee moved his hand to activate his face down, but stopped himself just as the shockwave hit him and knocked him down. (Lee's LP 4000 - DoSolfachord Coolia ATK 2700 = 1300 - TiSolfachord Beautia ATK 2500 = 0)

"That was amazing Sofia!" Wendy said as everyone gave Sofia a hug. But not James. He walked over to Lee and pulled his face down out, and were a little surprised by what it was. James then said to Lee. "Lee, why didn't you use this Mirror Force Trap Card?"
"Because I didn't need to use it."
"You had at the start of the Duel, you could have used it at any moment, but you didn't. Why?"
"Sofia was always scared when she was little. It didn't matter what it was, she would just run away. So to see her standing up for herself. I was happy, but I wanted to see if it was real, or just a show."
"That's why you want to duel. To see if she wasn't just showing confidence."
"Yeah." Lee said before taking back his card, place it back into his deck, and then he walked over to them. Lee then said to Wendy. "Wendy, I am sorry for my actions."
"I understand, Lee." Wendy said and then Sofia said. "So Dad, am I allowed to enter the Union Festival?"
"Yes, but under two conditions." Lee said before Rose Said. "And what are those conditions?"
"That you keep an eye on one another. And if you two end up facing each other, give it all you got, and leave no regerts." Lee said and then Sofia said. "Ok, Dad."
"Good. Now while you finish those entry forms, I'll cook us some of my famous fajitas." Lee said before walking into the house. Soon after everyone was done with their entry form. They all had a nice hot meal with Sofia's parents. However, Lee was right. There would be great danger over the horizon and its name is Darkwing, and he will do anything to get all of their Type Makers.
