"We're approaching the drop point, no sign of connie activity" the pilot said as Sector 7's VTOL flew through the cloudy skies. "Visibility is near zero, switching to enhance detection" he said flipping a switch above his head making the cockpit's windows turn green
"Understood, keep up the good work pilot" Hisashi said as he went back, walking past all of his men who were checking their gear. He took his seat next to Burns and across from Endeavour. "So Matchstick, what do you think?" he smiled "Cozy enough for you?"
"I'm not liking this Hisashi;" Endeavour growled "Do you even know where this thing is?" he asked
"We're using several global positioning systems, a Global Hawk to help us with RADAR. And we've also have several on board energon detectors" Hisashi explained
"Energon?" Endeavour asked with a frown on his face.
"Their life blood, basically their fuel, they use it for basically everything; but there is a shortage of it on Earth. Lucky for us" Burns said
"I see, that is a good thing isn't it?" Endeavour asked
"Yeah it is. Pilot go ghost" Hisashi shouted
"Copy that Dragon" the pilot said switching to electric engines and activating a cloak system
"Anything on radar?" Hisashi asked concerned
"You think we got Cons incoming?" Burns asked
"Yeah, they're usually not this quiet or this slow" Hiashi frowned
"Nothing on radar close range or extended"
"I'm liking this just about as much as a mouse like being in a cat shelter." Hisashi frowned.
"Pod ETA five minutes" the pilot called out, Hisashi nodded then turned to the back.
"OKAY! Switch to ATRS and prep for deployment!" Hisashi said
"YES SIR!" his unit shouted back
"ATRs?" Endeavour asked watching them
"Anti Transformer Rounds, something Terminus developed to fight Decepticons" Bunrs informed him
"Sir, who's out first?" a soldier asked
"Thank you for volunteering Witwicky" Hisashi shouted making the unit laugh
"Son of a bitch!" Witwicky grumbled.
"TOUCHDOWN IN 3...2..1!" the piloty shouted
"HIT IT SECTOR 7! Hisashi shouted as they all exited, Witwicky leading the charge.
"Scanning the area" Witwicky shouted as he looked around
"Anything?" Lennox asked
"Negative" Witwicky frowned as he lowered his weapons
"Understood" Lennox nodded.
"Sir! The pod is 20 meters in front of us, but we can't see it!" Epps shouted
"Shit, this might as well be a trap" Hiashi said
"Where?" Endeavour asked, his fire giving them light
"Thanks for giving us some light" Hisashi said as he and the rest of the group stalk forward.
"What are we looking for?" Endeavour asked
"That" Witwicky said as the pointed out a alien cylindrical looking object, and it was open!
"Check it for an insignia" Hisashi ordered. Epps and Witwicky nodded and moved forward, their guns ain the ready position.
"You go left!" Epps shouted, signalling that he head to the left
"You got it" Witwicky said going left, shining their torches on the pod
"Shit" Witwicky said "Con sign confirmed!"
"Great, we have to be extra careful!" Hisashi said
"Why?" Endeavour asked
"Because if that pod is open and its branded with the Predacon insignia, that can only mean one thing: The thing in there is now out" Hisashi said
"GROUP UP!" Burns shouted as they all went back to back
"ACTIVATE SCANNERS!" Hisashi ordered, "Ghost-1, get that thing in the air now!" Hisashi said
"Already done" the pilot said, taking off
"Call it in" Hisashi said
"Sector 7 to Jungle Beat, come in" Burns radioed in.
"Jungle beat here, what's wrong Agent Burns?" Rhinox asked
"We got an empty pod" Burns said
"Do you need assistance?" Rhinox asked
"Yeah" Burns said
"I'll see if we can send someone, but we're dealing with something" Rhinox frowned
"What's that?" Burns asked.
"We're trying to find the source of a signal" Rhinox said
"Maybe one of the dinobots?" Witwicky was heard
"Like I said we've picked up a ship's signal so Optimus is checking it out, there are also two more pods dividing our forces any more, I'll see who's here and send them your way" Rhinox said
"Thank you" Burns said.
"Now who's left here" Rhinox said "Rattrap, I need you and Armadillo to head out to a new location, its seems a new Pred has popped up"
"Time to play, I haven't been on a mission in ages" Armadillo said "Ya'll coming Rat"
"Do I have a choice?" Rattrap asked
"Nope" Armadillo said as he walked to the bridge gate "besides, this could be fun."
"We're all going to die" Rattrap sighed.
"Oh shut up Rattrap!" Armordillo exclaimed.
"Where is it?" Terrosaur asked as he and Scorponok were in the area looking for the pod
"Tarantulas said it was around here, so it is around here, understand?" Scorponok asked
"Yeah yeah" Terrorsaur groaned before spotting a light "There"
"Then let's getting moving" Scorponok said before scuttling along, Terrorsaur shrugged and took off.
"So, which one of our brethren is this?" Terrorsaur asked
"How am I suppose to know, Tarantulas didn't say" Scorponk grumbled
"Well good thing I'm here, and the one we're rescuing is Jetstorm" Blackarachnia rolled her eyes
"A seeker?" Terrosaur asked
"No he isn't, he was a Decepticon Spy; One of the 2nd generation born on Earth. Anyway they placed him on Iacon to spy on the Autobots, only he was captured" Blackarachnia said
"So, what form is he taking here?" Terrorsaur asked
"I'm not sure, but keep it down" Blackarachnia scowled as she spotted the Sector 7 unit and the pro hero Endeavour "Interesting" she said
"What is?" Scorponok asked
"They brought a pro hero with them, but I can't help but wondering why" she said.
"No visuals!" Lennox said
"Nothing on radar" Epps sighed
"Oh come on this is the most boring mission yet" Witwicky kicked a rock "Are we even going to need the Maximals?" Witwicky asked as the two Maximals showed up
"So who is it we're be facing?" Rattrap asked
"We're not sure, like I said the pod is open but there is no sign of them, must have gotten away" Hisashi said
"So much for showing me" Endeavour scoffed
"Oh shut up Matchstick" Hishasho groaned
"GOT SOMETHING!" Epps shouted "three cons, looks like Blackarachnia, Scorponok and Terrorsaur!" he told them
"Any sign of the one from the pod?" Hisashi asked
"Nothing yet" Lennox said
"I can't smell anything" Rattrap said
"Hang on" Armadillo said as he looked at the pod, frowning "Oh scrap"
"What is it?" Hisashi asked
"I recognise this pod, since I was the one to contain the Con myself" Armordillo said "And it was a major fight, but enough that I needed to go into my pod"
"Which con was it?" Hisashi asked
"Jetstorm, another Decepticon turned Pred" Armordillo frowned
"So what form did he take?" Lennox asked
"A bug of some kind, and I think he was close with them" Armordillo said
"Them?" Endeavour asked
"The original Insecticons, there were three major ones and the rest were drones" Armordillo said
"They were some of the nastiest cons in the great war, and that's saying something" Rattrap said
"So we shold be on our guard" Hishashi said
"Yeah" Burns frowned before a slight buzzing was heard
"Not good" Rattrap said.
"I agree Maximelts" a voice said as a massive Dragonfly hovered over head "Oh, is that you Armordillo?"
"Jetstorm!" he growled "I'm going to shove you back into that pod"
"I don't think so" Terrorsaur shouted as he landed with the other cons. "Good to see you Jetstorm"
"Ah so they sent you guys to back me up, very well. Digging the femme" Jetstrom smirked
"In your dreams" Blackarachia said disgusted.
"OPEN FIRE!" Hisashi shouted as the soldiers fired with ATRs, , The cons took qcover quickly and started to fired back.
"RATTRAP MAXIMIZE!" "ARMORDILLO MAXIMIZE!" the two transformed said transforming and quickly firing back at the cons with the humans. Endeavour threw several fireballs at the Cons making them dodge.
"Stupid humans" Blackarchina snarled before unleashing her leg machine guns, forcing them all to take cover.
"This is bad, where are the others?" Epps asked
"I'm not sure" Lennox cried out before Terrorsaur and Jetstorm opened fired from above, acting quickly Armordillo pulled out a grenade and lobbed it at the cons, where upon landing it blew up and knocked Scorponok back.
"Oh great" Scorponk shouted as he fired his missiles
"DUCK AND COVER!" Hisashi ordered as the missile exploded
"Maybe we should call for a bridge, this battle is lost" Rattrap said
"It just started you rat" Armordillo said as he whipped out his mace and threw it at Jetorms.
"I don't think so" Jetstorm said as he dodged it and landed on the ground, kicking Armordillo in the tors knocking him back, giving Blackarachnia and Terrosaur to get some free shots on the group.
"Oh man, oh man" Rattrap shouted as he pulled out a bomb and activated it, throwing it at them and getting back under cover before it exploded
"WHOA!" the cons shouted.
"FALL BACK!" Hisashi shouted making everyone look at him
"WHAT!" they all shouted
"We have to fall back, we have no reason to stay here" Hisashi said
"YES SIR!" the all shouted.
"On you six" Rattrap fired at the cons, only to have them fire back.
"Don't let them get away!" Blackarachnia shouted as she fired at them more.
"Ghost-1 We need EVAC NOW!" Hisashi shouted
"So you're just going to run?"Endeavour asked
"YES!" Hisashi said as Ghost-1 touched down and opened the rear hatch
"Rhinox we need a bridge back to base NOW!" Rattrap shouted
"You got it" Rhinox said over combs, making a bridge open up allowing Armordillo and Rattrap to head back while Ghost-1 took off in stealth mode, preventing the cons from seeing them.
"That has to be the first time that the Maximals and their bloodbag pets ran" Terrosaur said
"We'll call that a victory" Scorponok said
"Tarantulas, we've got Jetstorm with us, and we drove them back" Blackarachnia told him
"Very well" Tarantulas said as the bridge opened allowing the four to return.
"You guys okay?" Rhinox asked
"No, we got our afts handed to us!" Rattrap exclaimed "And now they have Jetstorm, who can lead them to the other Insecticons. Man it was bad enough for Crabcake to be one of the original Preds, they have a way to find the bugs" Rattrap groaned.
"Don't worry we have time, besides Optimus may have found the Xantium" Rhinox said
"The Xantium?" Rattrap asked "Wait you mean the Maximal Navy Corvette, the one that took down the Insidious during the final days of the Battle on Eukaris?" Rattrap asked shocked
"Indeed, but he's having trouble. Meanwhile the Dinobots are checking up on what could likely be the an Autobot outpost" Rhinox said
"Great, just great" Rattrap sighed
"Plus the two pods, we may need all the help we can get at the moment Rattrap" Armordillo said
"Indeed" Rhinox nodded
"No kidding, you think the big guys would be strong enough to do it" Rattrap said
"We may have to be careful." Rhinox said
"Ah Jetstorm, how good to see you" Megatron said
"thank you" Jetstorm said "It will be an honour serving under you Galavar, and hopefully you will do Megatron proud" Jetstorm said
"Thank you" Megatron smirked as he looked at the scanner. "Two more pods, and they've sent the Maximals. I think it's time we got them instead' Megatron smirked
"Yes sir!" they all said
"Terrorsau, you Scorponok, Jetstorm, Blackarachnia will head to the pod in the forest while Waspinator, Inferno, Manterror and Tarantulas go to the one by the ocean. We must recover them" Megatron ordered
"Yes sir" the cons said as they went through the gates
"The time of you winning the Beast Wars is over, Optimus Primal" he gloated to him. "Yesssss"
"I am impressed" Tigerton said as he and Ironhide were patrolling the forests.
"It is indeed, a lot better since we were last here, you had to be careful that some bug con or Seeker weren't going to attack you from above" Ironhide smiled
"Fascinating, really" the pro hero Mirko was with them while lazing on Ironhide's head "When are we going to find this thing?" she asked
"Well if you were helping to scout it would be done a lot faster" Pixie Bob said annoyed
"Yeah yeah" Mirko said as she started to jump tree to tree.
"Good lord, that rabbit" Pixie Bob said making Ironhide laughed "What's wrong?" she asked
"Nothing, you just remind me of Agent Tsuchikawa. A ball of energy and stubbornness" Ironhide laughed
"I'm glad you were able to help him" Pixie Bob said before she frozed "Something's wrong"
"HEY OVER HERE!" Mirko shouted making the group run to where she was
"What is it?" Ironhide asked as he and Tigertron appeared, Airazor landing near them.
"That the thing we're looking for?" Mirko asked
"Yeah it is" Ironhide said "And great it's a prison pods that's already been open" Ironhide growled "Stay on guard"
"Well hello there" a tortoise said slowly making everyone act on guard. "my name is Snapper" he said smiled
"Well, this is a regular Tortoise and the Hare situation" Mirko said
"Oh, I like that story, my favourite part is when the tortoise beats the living shit out of the damn hare" Snapper shouted speeding up his speech as he tried to slam his foot down on Mirko, who jumped out of the way
"MAXIMIZE!" the maximals shouted
"SNAPPER TERRORIZE!" he shouted switching to robot mode
"PREDACONS TERRORIZE!" Scorponok shouted as he showed up, he others transforming and firing at the Maximals, forcing to take cover.
"This is ridiculous" Mirko said as she leapt out of cover and attacked.
"MIRKO!" Pixie bob shouted using her quirk to make Earth Monsters to fight back, the dirt constructs being ripped apart by the different weapons of the Predacons
"LUNAR ARC!" Mirko said as she delivered a kick to the head of Snapper, who quickly switched to Beast Mode and grabbed Mirko's leg in his beast mode's jaws.
"NO RUMI!" Pixie bob shouted as Snapper bit Mirko's leg off, causing her to crash into the ground and roll along. She was trying to get up when Snapper transformed and almost stomped on her
"Get her!" Tigertron shouted
"RHINOX OPEN A GATE, WE GOT A HUMAN DOWN!" Ironhide shouted as a bridge opened. Airazor scooped up Mirko and got her through the bridge Tigertron and Ironhide fired back as they to fgot in the gate, it closing before the Predacon could attack
"Damn Maximals" Snapper shouted
"Who cares, they're on the run. Now come on" Terrosaur said
"Yeah, yeah" Snapper said.
"We're here" Cheetor said
"Ah good, we're in my element now" Cybershark said
"It would have been nice to have some of the others come" Cheetor said
"Well between the outpost, the ship and the pods there were only three left at base. Besides, you have the best swimmer here" Cybershark said
"So where is it?" Cheetor asked
"I have some idea, Beast mode" Cybershark shouted as he transformed mid air landed in the water
"Oh man" Cheetor said as he laid down and swayed his tail. What he didn't noticed the predacons.
"A cat and a fish; Oh man this is going to be too good to be true" Razor Claw chortle before he went into the water
"So when do we attack?" Manterror said
"Waspinator suggest we attack now, with the element of surprise!" Waspinator said
"Yes the Royalty will be please" Inferno shouted "ATACK!" he shouted
"HUH!" Cheetor shouted in surprised as he transformed and started to fire back "Cybershark; we got company!"
"I read you I'm nearly to the pod, and luck is one our side. It's an unopened pod" Cybershark said
"Sweet" Cheetor cheered as he got a shot on Waspinator, sending him into Manterror who bumped Inferno, making his missile explode in the sky
"ENOUGH, BURN MAXIMAL!" Inferno shouted firing his flamethrower at Cheetor.
"Okay the pod is secured" Cybershark said
"Not so fast sardine!" Razor Claw said as he appeared and knocked Cybershark away, then scuttling over to activate the pod. "Ah good, this one feels strong"
"Crabcake, heard you were a lion, what happened got sick of the desert?" Cybershark laughed
"Oh hah, you Maximals made me this way when you tried to make Porotoform X!" Razor Claw growled
"My bad" Cybershark said before firing at Razor Claw
"Nice shot bozo" Razor Claw laughed, only to fire at a rock above him, trapping him "Now for the pod" Razor Claw said as he swam over and activated it.
"Cybershark, I'm pinned down, Cybershark do you read me!" Cheetor shouted over the radio
"I'm the same kid, and what's worse Razor Claw is activating the pod!" Cybershark shouted, watching as the Crab Predacon activated it, making a burst of bubbles appear before it went shooting off into the air.
On the surface the combat stopped as a Rhino Beetle flew in the air
"Oh no" Cheetor panicked as the Predacon landed and announced
"HARDSHELL TRANSFORM!" he shouted shifting to Robot mode.
"Impossible" Manterror said
"An Insecticon from the great wars?" Tarantulas asked "I did not anticipate this" he said
"Ah, so you are my new Predacon brethren are you?" Hardshell asked
"We are, the royalty will be pleased," Inferno saluted
"And this pile of fluff?" he asked looking down at Cheetor
"A Maximal!" Inferno said
"Very well, time to end him" Hardshell said before a dark bridge opened up
"Why would Megatron call us back?" Tarantulas asked
"I'm not sure" Manterror said
"But it has to be important, Let's go" Tarantulas said
"You got lucky kitty" Hardshell scoffed.
"It seems you all were successful" Megatron said as the teams came back in, this time with Jetstorm, Snapper and Hardshell with them.
"Indeed we were" Blackarachnia said as Tarantulas chuckled
"And it was all thanks to my brilliance, piggy backing off the human's satellite making it easy for me to pinpoint the ones that had already land, as well as being able to choose which ones were landing next. Which will give us an advantage over the Maximals" he laughed
"Ah yes good work Tarantulas" Megatron smiled "So what is next?" he asked with a devious smile. Tarantulas started up his program and started to laugh as he brought another one down.
"Now Optimus Primal, watch as the Beast Wars and this planet are ours" he loudly laughed.
G'Day Guys Grizz here and well crap, three new cons and two of them were Decepticons. That's not good especially with what Tarantulas is doing, especially since he has access to satellites; an idea I got reading a different fic. So Snapper finally shows up, heck the chapter of the original I was working on was going to feature him, but like I said it fizzled out and I shifted to different fics. But he's back now and he chomped off Mirko's leg like she had happen in teh manga only more painful, I bet you guys are dreading what comes next for them
