"Haa…Haa…That…was overwhelming…" Furue stumbles a bit as she catches herself on the rail, stabilizing herself. She just managed to overcome the overwhelming number of Robots that gang on her, but right now…she felt as if her hand would break if she used any more of her quirk, it was trembling hard, and just the touch alone would send shock to her brain.

She couldn't even move it without feeling pain. At first, it wasn't bad…just a bit of tingling numbness but slowly, as I used my quirk, it started to get more noticeable to the point I couldn't lift up my right arm now.

The damage slowly accumulated, and that was why I never felt it like this, I never used it so much like this before…

Furue finally has a taste of her own quirk side effect and honestly? It didn't look good, without her arm she wouldn't be able to create her shockwave ball anymore, and it seemed the arm would be gone for a good 10 or so minutes from the look of it.

"I gotta conserve my energy and the use of my arm, huh? Well…first is to catch up with the front." Many students were still stuck on the robots but a lot more had already passed by, so Furue needed to catch up so she would have a chance at the second round.

After a round of dodging random things, and taking down Robots with the smallest shockwave ball possible to conserve herself, Furue found herself at a loss.

Just as it was about halfway through the race, a hurdle appeared, a large cliff that was filled with robots, people were climbing up, and when one fell down, Furue moved instantly but she almost fell down due to not being able to balance herself with only one arm.

She groaned in pain as her right arm was now in intense heat as if it were burning. Her eyes looked up, the boy was falling and no one was going to be able to catch him in time.

Her leg froze as her eyes were unable to take away from the falling boy, just as she waited for the sound there…nothing. The boy bounced a bit before he got up again as if nothing happened.

"You there! Be Careful! I won't be able to save you all the time!" a Female voice, Furue turn to look to the side, to see a group of Familiar Hero, Wild Wild Pussy Cat!

One of the best hero agencies that specializes in search and rescue operations! The one yelling just now dressed in a blue uniform with cat paw and ear, is Pixie-Bob!

Beside her are the full squad, Mandalay, Ragdoll, and even Tiger! All in their hero Uniform!

Right now, Furue really has a bad case of Fan Girling, she wants to go and ask for their autograph but this is not the right place nor the right time, right now. It was the challenge in front of her that was deserving of her attention.

The cliff was tall, sure, but there were several ledges to cling to, while it would be hard to do one-handed, Furue didn't have a choice.

She ran up at full speed before jumping and managed to catch the first ledge! Pushing her left arm to its limit, she pulled herself up just enough to use her leg and climb up on.

"Ha….That was-"

"Kyaa!" Before Furue could finish, several screams from the girl come out so she turns to look, only to face away in embarrassment.

"S-sorry!" The voice of Togata Mirio rang loudly as he yelled out, he struggled to pull his pants up and Furue decided to try and erase the image of it away from her brain. As they say, sometimes, not knowing anything is the best way to avoid trouble.

TREMIS

After struggling for 5 minutes straight, Furue finally managed to climb down the cliff, about halfway through he managed to regain control of her right arm so it became much easier with two arms than one.

And after running for 5 more minutes, she arrived at the last hurdle and challenge. Furue waits for a bit as she watches the other contestants as they all run to the finish line. She already heard from the announcement that there were 10 people finished already, meaning there were only 30 more or so till it would be full, and from the look of the front runner if she took it easy, she wouldn't be able to be in that place.

"Fuuu…sorry about this in advance." She mutters out before she focuses her attention on her left hand, there is a weird feeling of cracking and shaking in her left arm and she feels drained as the light gathered in her hand becomes larger and larger to the point it envelopes her hand, in that instance, Furue slams her left hand down with a force.

The silence was loud, she could feel the confusing stare of her fellow students, Furue Stood up and took a huge breath.

"YOU BETTER START RUNNING! IT'S ABOUT TO COLLASPE!"

That was the only warning she gave before Furue made a run for it, she moved past the confusing Students who turned to look at her, even running past Haya-chan who got a terrific look on her face as she started to speed up too.

Before they can get a chance to ask, the answer is already coming to them, the ground starts shaking as it splits into two, and the panicked students quickly fall into them, and several loud booms are heard.

So they even put a mine bomb in here. She didn't look back though since it would make her lose balance.

"Seriously Hirano-chan! That could be dangerous!" Haya-Chan said behind her.

"Don't worry, I tune enough power to know that it won't hurt them, Just enough to make the ground rise and split, is all." That was all Furue said before she focused on the gaol and within a minute, she ran past the goal with Haya-chan and saw that there were already 20 or so people ahead of her.

"Ha….ha…Ngh!…" Finally able to breathe again, Furue focused on her left arm, lifting it up to feel like lifting a truck, it was so heavy, her left couldn't stop shaking and the pain was intense as if it was breaking on the inside.

"Y-You ok, Hirano-chan?" Haya-chan asked her, so Furue turned toward the girl and saw that 5 of her classmates were there, Senko-san and Keno-san looked at her with worry, and Ningyo-san looked with the same impassive eye as always, while Kageyama-san just…act weird? She looks worried but then stops herself and then starts acting like a… middle-grade schooler. Covering her face with her right hand and then doing as if she tried to stop it with her left…

"N-no worry. I just use a little too much is all." Furue voice didn't have any energetic tone left as it now returned to the same slow voice she always had. "Recovery Girl already warned me of this but…it was the first time I got the side effect of my quirk, that's all. No worry, no worry."

Furue quickly dismissed the concern of her fellow classmates, they didn't seem to be satisfied with her way of dismissing them but still let it go, after a little talk, Furue decided to sit down a bit as she waited for the new arrival. It was a long 5-minute wait, which gave Furue enough time to at least recover.

Once the 42nd Student arrives, a bell rings signifying the end of the obstacle race.

[ Finished! The obstacle race is over! ] Furue opens her eyes as she looks forward toward the stage that Midnight-sensei stands on.

"Good Work All of you! That was the very spirit of youth that I imagined! As for those who didn't make it, Don't worry! We got a new program just for you!" Midnight-sensei said, then she focused her attention on the passing group.

"Now then, for all of you, it's time to move up to the second round! And the program we come up with is!" She whips the air, creating a cracking sound as the screen starts rolling, it slowly slows down as the screen comes to a stop, the New program they need to pass is…

Flag Defense!

"Flag… defense?" Furue tilted her head in confusion, the video from last year's event didn't have this, even from 1st to 3rd year so…this is not something she studies.

"Now! Let me explain the rule to you! You all will split into teams of up to 4 and will get an area to plant your flag and defend it from the other! But, each minute one of your members stays on the flag, you will get a total of a hundred points! With 4 members that was 400 points per minute! Each flag you collect from the other team will result in a double point gain, meaning it went from 400 to 800 and will continue to double with each Flag you take! So not only will you have to defend your flag but also take other flags too! Oh, and the team that gets their flag stolen can steal their flag back but they will lose all the points in them, You could move the flag around but they won't gain points! so you better take good care of it!"

"Oh! One more thing! Each of you will get assigned a point according to your placement during the race. Start from the 42nd is 5 and continue to double until the 2nd which will be 225 points but for the first place. The point will be…1 million points!" All eyes turned toward the one in the middle who was just chilling before suddenly started sweating, Senko-san was that person, she blinked into the first place after all.

"That is all, I will now give you guys 10 minutes of preparation!" Midnight now walk off the stage.

"O-oi! Sensei! You just painted a target on my back, didn't you?! Is it payback for that fruit that I got you!? It's just a bit sour! Oi! Don't leave me like this! Come back here sensei! Come back and fix your mistake!" Senko-san cried out as she got to the stage to protest but it was a bit…too late on that.

Senko-san turned around nervously. "W-well…uh." Everyone turns their face away from her. Furue was about to find the other she missed during her power nap but then, her arm was pulled Furue looked down only to see a Teary eye from Senko-san who was clinging to her arm.

"Please Hirano-san, Join my team!" Senko-san said tearfully, making Furue flinch a bit, the tearful appearance of Senko-san who is quite well…strang, along with Kageyama-san, talked very fast to the point it was hard to understand.

But she is also very cheerful and often comes off as weird so seeing her tearful like this hurt Furue a bit, Furue knew that she had a bleeding heart, she was often weak in these types of situations, maybe because she desired to help people making the scene in front of her even more…powerful in her mind.

"Ha…I understand, then who will be our mem-"

"This one is delighted to see that you have decided to join us! This one shall present you, the Promising Youngling, the most exquisite reward there is!" The voice, the strange-sounding way of speaking, it was Kageyama-san. Furue turned to her side and tilted her head a bit in confusion as she didn't understand what Kageyama-san meant.

"U-uh, Thi- um- Ahem! Here is the reward This one promise!" Kageyama reaches for her pocket and offers her a piece of candy. Furue stared at the piece of candy before she let out a little laugh.

"I see, so Kageyama-san is already joining Senko-san's team, is it? Then please take care of me." Furue said slowly as she took the candy and popped it into her mouth, the sweet that rushed in was very good, though it was a mint flavor which she quite disliked but she wouldn't complain.

"Then, do we go with only 3 members or get one more?" Furue asked, as she looked around, Well, people already forming groups and were slowly distancing themself to find a place to set their flag in.

"Eh? With Hirano-san here, everything would be fine, isn't it! I mean, you were so strong, ya'know! And you really fast and also you very durable and surprisingly flexible and also-"

"No, I'm not that strong…or at least as strong as I once thought I was." Furue cut off Senko-san who started to speak in a very fast manner. "I thought I didn't have any weakness besides stamina and long-range fight but…" She shows the two girls her left arm which still shaking a bit. "I discover my weakness now and beside me, there are plenty of strong people around, even back then, when I first fought Ueki-san, I was very…happy that I lost myself. I never thought I would find someone so strong after all, not after her…" Her last sentence was a quiet whisper.

"Well, the point is I am not invincible, not like All Might, I am just one person so if we want to win this, we will have to work together, you can't rely on just me alone. In fact, our chance of winning actually falls on the two of you, Kageyama-san and Senko-san." The faces of the two of them show signs of confusion, which Furue thinks is quite cute.

"Senko-san, You have 1 million points, isn't it?" Senko-san nods at Furue's word though she is still confused about why Furue even brings it up. "Midnight-sensei said that We could move the flag around but we wouldn't gain points. So If we move the Flag with your quirk, nobody could catch us."

"Oh! That's a good plan! I can…uhh….I can't move around that much….My quirk works by pushing me to the front kind of burst which I can't control the direction…it also hurts my leg when I do it consecutively." Senko-san said that was the side effect of her quirk that Furue didn't know about but that ok.

"Then, when you are tired, we can move to the other person. Kageyama-san, could you take the object into the shadow with you?"

"That is one of this one ability! I could even pull someone into the shadow with me, although they wouldn't be able to move, This one can stay in the shadow for at most 1 minute before one needs to breathe again, and when this one comes out, this one won't be able to enter the shadow for more than 10 second."

"I see…Did Amajiki-kun pass the first phase?" Furue asked but the answer she received was a head shake from Senko-san.

So he didn't pass, huh? Ha…that's quite disappointing

"What about Hado-san?"

"No, she didn't pass either, it seems she was stuck on your last move so she didn't get in on time."

"Oh…well, that…unfortunate. Well…Is there someone else to, ah, nevermind, everybody already got into position…it seems we will have to do it with only the 3 of us." Furue got up from her seat and stretched a bit.

Beside her, Senko-san was mumbling nervously while Kageyama-san got a smile on her face, though that was just the facade as her back was a full-blown sweating feast.

"Now then…Let's pick the middle to plant our flag."

"Eh!?" The two of them yell out at the same time, shocked by Furue's Decision, "W-why?! We will be making enemies out of everyone, y'know!? Uh- it also bad- and it -uh and it was-"

"That is exactly why, They will be focused on us either way, and this way, we will have many more options on where you decide to run away to, and I will be the one drawing attention, so don't worry, just run the best you can, even if you lose it then we will change our strategy."

"Eh! No that-!"

"Time's up!" Midnight-sensei came up before Senko-san could protest Furue's decision and suddenly, a staff robot came pouring out and handed them the flag with the number of their point on. Since Furue is 23rd and Kageyama-san is number 2nd their total point is 1,000,465 total.

Furue planted the flag straight in the middle, and she could feel the stare from other Students which she didn't mind.

"Now then! For the next 15 minutes, go and have as much fun as you want! Start!"

In that instance, Furue gathered the light in both her hand to the point it was envelope her hand and slammed both down to the ground, the time seemed to stop as Kageyama-san watched her and Senko-san grabbed the flag and was about to blink away.

Others who had seen her quirk stopped their advance and tried to get away, but it was too late, the ground trembled, as it split apart and a shockwave blew up from the inside destroying the large ground they were in.

Furue's arm twitch as it trembles roughly, but her hand is still moving.

"Alright…this will work…" Her hand was hurting like hell but…it was still moving, meaning she could still fight, right now, her job was to create a distraction.

So…now that she literally destroyed the arena, her opponent was quickly trying to protect their flags while some opportunists managed to capture one other group's flag during the commotion she created.

[Team Endo lost the flag! Score resetting to Zero!]

Present Mic's voice rang loudly throughout the Arena, gathering her opponent's attention since one of them had already gotten their flag stolen not 1 minute in.

Using this moment, Furue moves toward the one nearest to her, which, unfortunately, is Haya-chan's team.

She teamed up with both class A and B. And their flag is just in front of Furue after they scrambled to get it.

"Eh!? D-damn it! I won't hold back!" Haya-chan screamed out as she aimed her hand at Furue, Haya-chan's hand quickly covered in electricity before it shot out in the shape of an arrow toward Furue, the lighting arrow was fast, and it almost left no time for Furue to dodge, though she manages to avoid it head on, it still hit her in her left arm, sending electrical shock toward her whole body, stunning her in her place.

Before she could even recover, the ground around her shook as suddenly, a wall of earth covered her in a dome.

It's not one of my class's quirks…Then, class B is it? Without a second thought, Furue gathered light in her right arm and slammed it toward the wall, destroying it, when the light hit her face, something also came her way, smoke.

Furue quickly covered her mouth and nose but that was a mistake, the smoke entered her eyes, and instantly, her eyes felt so irritated to the point that tears were coming out, she resisted the urge to rub her eyes and try to force her eyes to open.

Only to meet with a giant that was Kyodai-kun in front of her.

"Sorry." That was all he said before his fist met Furue's stomach. The blow was hard, it sent her flying through the wall and hit the unfortunate bystanders.

It hurt like hell, her body felt as if it was hit by a truck, Furue slowly got up and coughed out a little bit of blood.

"Damn…he didn't hold back, did he? But…so he makes it too, huh?" Furue slowly stood up, her legs were shaky and she even needed to hold her leg to keep it steady.

Furue looked around the battlefield, she scanned them slowly, there were 7 people from her class including her, Haya-chan, Senko-san, Kageyama-san, Ningyo-san, Keno-san, Kyoudai-kun, and Kiko-kun.

It seem Kiko-kun managed to get the robot in here, after all, it was the 3-pointer robot. Well, as for the others….Furue didn't know them but she vaguely remembered some face from when she gave the athlete's oath. At least 2 from class B, is what she is sure.

Well, enough of that…What about our flag…she still dodging them splendidly.

Furue looked toward the place with the most commotion, right now, Senko-san was running for her life as she blinked from place to place as if her life depended on it, and 10 people were following her and trying to corner her but Kageyama-san quickly drag the Senko-san and the flag away before she could get capture.

"Alright…I need to do my part too…" Furue walked forward, her step was a bit unsteady as the punch from Kyodai-kun still affected her, though it wouldn't stop what she was about to do.

"If I can't move then…I will just make everyone move." light gathered in both her hands, this time, it was just as large as the hand itself, and her stamina was going to be completely drained after this.

" Five Minutes Remaining! " Midnight-sensei yelled out, and Furue's hands touched the ground gently and she digs her finger into it, as the light moved away from her hand toward the ground, her surroundings shook, Furue looked toward her target, a group of students chased after Senko-san and is just right behind her.

Her smile deepened, though she didn't know if this would work or not, It was a completely new move she thought it up on the spot after all.

Furue's arms tensed up as she lifted the ground, there was a sound of something cracking as the ground quickly split apart in a straight line toward Senko-san.

She managed to blink away just in time.

Suddenly, Furue sees black for a moment as her feet stumble backward. Her body felt as light as a feather, Furue tried to look up, but her eyes were just a moment from closing when she saw Kageyama-san grab the flag and then, everything turned black.

"Time UP!" That was the last thing she heard before Furue fell asleep.

Author's rant of the day!

AHHHH! This was such a lengthy chapter! I want to split it into two but I can't find the moment where to split it! So here you go, a very long chapter! Anyway, I got no rant today, other than I got into playing some game which make me feel quite good, ya know? Well, then, I guess it time. C ya in the next Chapter! Jestly...OUTTOOOO!
