The episode referenced in this one-shot is Season 1, Episode 12: The First David Job.
No direct quotes in this one! It wasn't until I was typing them up that I realized that all of the one-shots I wrote referencing the First David Job did not have direct quotes in them. Which is odd for me.
Also, this is a part 2 for the last one-shot, "Heading to Eliot." And yes, I did write it as such.
On an entirely separate note, as I was typing this one up, all I could think about was the song by Josh Groban entitled "Bring Them Home." Slightly fitting for the title of this one-shot. And no, that is not where I got the name of the one-shot.
The legalities. I do not own any of the Leverage franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au. Rated M just to be on the safe side.
Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!
Hope you enjoy!
Prompt: "Bring them home. All of them."
"But…"
"All. Of. Them."
"How many times are you going to ignore whoever is calling you?"
Pru rolled her eyes as she continued to wrap Eliot's ribs in the motel room that he had gotten. "We both know that it is just Nathan ignoring what I told him before and is calling me before the ten or fifteen minutes are up. Are you still holding the ice to your eye?"
"Yes. You know, you are rather good at patching people up."
Pru scoffed. "Yeah, I've had a lot of practice."
"Really?"
"That is all that you are getting out me on that, mister. I'm not about to spill all of my secrets to you right now. Partially because you won't remember it all with that concussion you've got. And there, your ribs should be good now."
Eliot lowered his arm and nodded. She really did do a rather good job. "We should probably learn the plan now."
"Yeah, yeah, let me grab my phone so we can call the drunk one again."
~~Bring Them Home~~~ Bring Them Home~~~ Bring Them Home~~~ Bring Them Home~~
After they hung up with Nate and Sophie, Pru sighed and leaned against the headboard of the bed as she watched Eliot begin to work a tank top over his head before she scooted forward to help him. Biting the corner of her lip, she looked up at the hitter, who raised his eyebrow at her before he went to grab a flannel shirt. "Eliot?"
He didn't even look up from what he was doing. "Hmm?"
Pru inhaled deeply before she spoke again. "Bring them home, please. All of them."
Eliot paused with the shirt in his hand before looking over at her with his brows furrowed. "But Sophie conned us, P."
Pru got up and took the flannel from his hand with one of hers and placed the other one on his shoulder. "I don't care, El. She is part of this messed up team that has become my family of sorts. So, please, bring all of them home. All. Of. Them."
Eliot sighed before nodding slightly. "Alright, but don't expect me to be all happy to be around her or anything. Now, can I have my shirt back?"
"Yeah, here. And I'm not expecting you to. Do you need a ride, or can you get to the offices on your own?"
"Are you offering me a ride on your Harley?"
"Well, since that's how I got here, what do you think? Come on, let's go."
"Right behind you."
