Kinda glad we took up Yuugi's offer as this was quite an upgrade from my usual stays. Red satin and jewel blue cloth like this would be hard to come by. Though we're wearing the onsen's yukatas commando style. Unfamiliar with wearing such a thing though as I had mine awkwardly tied.

"Come over here." Yes dear. Atleast one of us knows how to wear these things. After a few tugs Satori was done.

"There. Now people won't see that bullish appendage of yours." Yeah well they'll see your rear bounce everytime you take a step.

"I suppose I deserve that. Still Yuugi has out done herself. Only one issue." We both look down to see only a large futon in the middle of the room.

"Can't be anymore awkward then this." I checked our matching jewelry on a nearby small table. The steel and gold mixing between the metallic flowers. Mother's gift was more a proposal of things to come.

"She's quite eager to see us officially together." Which reminds me, Urumi and the other me are an item. Turning around I took notice of Satori's slight agape expression. Yeah, who could've guessed that a dark copy of me ended up with an ex-murderer.

"Most youkai gave up human eating a hundred years ago. I never asked though. But the way to count youkai years is additional to your human years." So I'm... a hundred thirty? I think?

"I'm 125, though that might explain why they look at me differently. I didn't think I'll end up as one of the most important youkai given my weak disposition." Well life surprises everyone. I took notice of a Mahjong set nearby. Wanna give it go?

"Sure. You know how to play?" Some of it, you start from the top and go from there right? Satori helps with setting up the board.

"Sort of, but since theres two players with a clear handicap though." Right. Mindreading? She chuckles as I watch her close her third eye and gave me a wide smirk cupping her eye with a leering gaze on her face.

"I'm quite good at these types of games without the need of my mindreading."...Hehe, I'm in danger.

"Arasaka? You wanted something during Venus's stay correct?" Eirin eyed the child youkai he started helping the bamboo cutters so his overwrapped hands and arms and slight cuts told her he was physically cutting bamboo with his hands. He got more aggressive after seeing probably the only other man he look up to in such a state.

"I...Even strong youkai like that can become weak?" Eirin sigh, her millenia of time reminded her not everyone knows what to follow in their uncertainties. Even immortals have emotions. She got up from her desk and kneel down to his height.

"Yes, you only saw the physical strength and felt it yourself. Venus is very special but not invincible, even someone like myself. Anyone is capable to be seen as weak." Despite her explanation, the uneasy look in his face didn't waver.

"I don't think you're weak, or him." Eirin put the pieces together what he was implying.

"Sweety, you shouldn't rush things like that. The path of grief and revenge that binds you shouldn't be the main reason to get stronger. Remember when I said bad youkai can become good people?" He nodded.

"And good people can become bad youkai, I remember. But look what they did to me, to others. It's, hard to not be mad at humans." The unfortunate reality to ask a child like him to let go of that hatred is gonna be a tough and delicate road that Eirin and the others took upon. There was a time she despise humanity for being impure beings. Her hypocrisy wasn't lost on herself. She did things that were indicative of betrayal to the moon as well as Gensoukyo itself.

Never again, never again will I be blinded by such thoughts. My real family is here.

"You know, Mokou is kinda like me and the princess. She's however, a human. Do you hate her like you hate those pesky hunters?"

"No! She taught to do better flame tricks and she helps out at the edge of the bamboo forest and makes really good manju."

"See, not every human is bad. But everyone here is capable of bad and good things. I feel at times... I saw that a bit too late." Eirin pull him into a hug and could feel that anger inside him calm down a bit.

"I'll try to be good mama." Letting go, she realize that Tewi was at the doorway.

"Yes? What is it?" Tewi just smirks showing a familiar frog pin in her hands.

"TEWI!" A certain poverty goddess was running towards them.

"See ya!" With a hop, skip, and a bound away as everyone watch Shion-

*KRAWWK*

"AUUGHH! Little rabbit is getting cooked tonight!" She crashes sideways into the doorframe a clear red mark on her forehead and a bloody nose for her troubles. The realization on Eirin's face as she quickly move to the hall to see Tewi gloating at the very end of it.

"She didn't!?"

"Yes! The puffball stole it while I was asleep this morning. I only notice when I started crashing into everything!" A hurraph sound came from Shion as Eirin materialize her bow.

"WHHHOOOOA! That's cheating Eirin!"

"Can't dodge this one as I made it specifically for you white rabbit." She pulls back the string and Tewi already left her sight. Unfortunately, the spell doesn't need to see it's target.

White Rabbit's Luck ends.

*Thwip*

Despite the sudden but subtle sound the tracking arrow was already going at subsonic speed following Tewi's magic signature.

"She'll be back momentarily, for now don't move from my office." Shion got up and nodded taking a vacant chair and checking her face in the nearby mirror.

"Can I get some water and cotton balls?" Arasaka quickly left the two to search for the items in a nearby medical counter. Eirin went inside her office to look at Shions injury.

"While you landed hard enough to bleed it looks like you might just have soft skin on your face. Tilt up." Shion tilts her head only for the luminous lights blind her slightly.

"Ahhhgh!" Still she stay in her position.

"I know, I know. The more you stay like this the more you're ability will affect all of us. Tewi's good luck effects us all but only if she allows it." They waited until they heard a shrill cry.

"EIRIN!"

"Wanna try again?" I won a few times, but her puzzle brain is really good at recognizing matches quickly. Even without mindreading it's hard to go against her.

"This doesn't bothered you?"...In the case of board games? Not really. Besides, I'll probably be even worse at shogi than a matching game. Satori, seemed to hold her laughter in.

"...Mph! No! You don't move that piece like that you clueless farm boy." Yeah yeah, ride the high.

"Sorry, sorry. I just never seen someone so inquisitive is so clueless about such games." Playing mindgames via memorization isn't a fun time for someone like me. I'd rather put into the puzzle aspect of it and not care about the outcome. Losing is frustrating when it's something you care about deeply about, not when your apathetic to certain stimuli.

"Things that don't interest you makes you lazy to them?"...

"Too close to home?" Can you really blame me? I wasn't motivated by normal ambitions. I prefer my own way to things.

"Sounds like you really have a disinterest in following others and prefer your freedom and individualality." Well, it's nice to follow when possible, but I just hate following without reasons. Plus, boredom makes the best motivator. Satori made a thinking pose. Until, the lightbulb show up in her face.

"What was your favorite hobby?" Before this? Games mostly and reading, I had a high capacity to learn. I used to write in my spare time actually. Satori seemed elated at this revelation.

"I see that we both love to record our daily actions."...Yeah I've been writing in both english and basic japanese for a while in my spare time wirh help from medicine and forcing my reading passive to be off during it. So I know the gist of the language. Anything else? Satori gazed at me with her third eye and it slightly squinted before going back into it's neutral state.

"Magic huh?" I mean, we all use it here.

"Yes, but there is differences, for example. You assumed all Youkai are unholy and incapable of light type magic but that would be false."You're saying youkai can harness holy or godly magic?

"You're talking to one."What? Satori sighs, and holds out her left hand.

"I trust you." I realized what she wanted me to do and I clasp her hand slowly.

"1...2...3-!?"

*CRACK*

In a swift motion I watch her hand get completely crushed from a simple action of closing my hand around her's. She focuses for a moment until a pinkish energy surrounds her injury.

"Heal." Pretty soon her fingers and wrists corrected itself and she flex her healed appendages soon after. So your magic is?

"I'm a unique youkai among the usual aggressive types. I specialize in healing, support, and illusionary magic. I don't get hurt by holy items as easily, and I have an immunity to moon or as they say here, dark magic." Illusionary magic? So you can mess with people's mind not just through copycating abilities and spells? Satori nods.

"This is what makes me so pivotal to the underground, a leader who can heal her subordinates over and over again is a formidable opponent and ally. I can even force mood changes if I wanted to but I don't like it. You should know that in actuality there are 5 types of magic in Gensokyo." I know that Iku called them Defensive and Aggressive types but Patchouli said it's far more complicated than that.

"She's right, we only put it all in those two because magic can do anything and if we share it's full capacity to humans it'll be so much more chaotic." So, what do you called them?

"Active, passive, defensive, utility, and support. Most can only accomplish active magic. The type that is use to throw a fireball. Passive magic, is low continuous effects that we're borned with and can't be easily read at a glance. Defensive, is the most interesting, it's not like support magic where healing and light magic go, instead it's more like enhancement magic where anything related to the physical body goes, anything that enhances our attributes is defensive in nature. Utility is anything that is more tool base like flight, teleportation, mindreading; so basically anyone can learn day one of magic training. Support, is almost impossible for most youkai, and even most humans, why bother learning to heal if you can self heal and what not right?"...

"Venus?" I shooked my head abit to think about this discovery.

"I think I know what type you're best at?" And that's?

"Defensive magic suits you best. You train with enhancement magic more than your basic active magic. Yeah, it's flashy but is it as effective as your heighten speed and senses?" You said you was bad at this type of stuff. She shrugged.

"Bad at physical fighting, not my actual fighting style. I have potential to be much worse than even Okuu. However..." You're content to being where you are now. She smiles.

"I could never asked for more, right here...right now."

"There, now we're safe. Tewi this is a dangerous prank." Tewi struggle fruitlessly to get off the spectral arrow that kept her lodge in Eirin's office room's wall. The spell became ethereal when her hands reach towards the arrow shaft and still kept her pinned. Eirin walks over and pulls the arrow out effortlessly with a heavy thud, Tewi falls to the floor roughly.

"Absolute worse doctor in Gensokyo." Tewi huffs as she got up from the floor.

"Boo hoo white rabbit." Eirin adjusted herself back into her chair. As a vacant inaba came in.

"Report."

"No casualties, or abnormalities in the vicinity Miss Yagakoro." A small smile crept to Eirin's face.

"Good, that's good. Shion, you may be on leave to heal for the rest of the day." Shion bowed and left promptly. Tewi began to leave however.

"White Rabbit."

"Yes, Eirin?"

"May your luck be plenty and your harvests full. My patients aren't invincible. Please, do remember that." Tewi turn slightly and could see that Eirin's face was stern.

"Will do Eirin. No one got hurt too badly." Tewi was about to take a lightfooted step out.

"Yet." Only to stop in mid step.

"This is a warning, it's hard enough caring for the lost and broken. We're fortunate and also filled with misfortune a plenty. Please, inform all staff of our soon cleansing rituals. We do not know if evil spirits are gathering again after the winter passing." Tewi nods and bounds away noisily down the hall in a polyrhythmic fashion. Reisen soon enter eyeing the door frame with splatter signs of blood on it.

"Master?" Reisen watch as Eirin's open hand shot out to gesture to give her the recent reports.

"About those draconic tests you've ask for."

"Undonge, while I said I was certain there wasn't any compatibility to be made between dragons youkai, and humans. The fact the two of them have a 99% chance to receive and concieved children with almost any species is astonishing." Reisen fidget about trying to find the words.

"It's about their blood." Eirin stopped looking through the reports.

"I've already ran those tests multiple times."

"I know but Yuuka's son. He has actual DNA of Kazami in him but he's a pure dragon? Are we certain Yuuka is just a regular youkai?" Eirin mull over her assistant's words. The possibility of what was said by the doll during her visits was clear.

"It's possible he was made not just by the will of dragons, but a mix of Yuuka's as well to form a child of nature and life in one. None of this matters now, we've already accepted him as her kin. Nothing changes by confirmation. It's reality now that in some way Yuuka has made a being fit to be her own flesh and blood. Just as Alice is Shinki's." Reisen took in the information the best she could. Looking around Eirin with unease

"But the results. It suggest Yuuka gave birth to him nearly 15 years ago. We would've seen him much earlier if that was possible. We know our land of fantasy can do unexplainable things but he's fully a dragon and one with nature? That would make him a veritable god in the eyes of public. Not only that, the magical readings are almost incalculable as if his potential hasn't stopped rising. Even Meiling's was less but it wasn't by much. There's other tests as well. A blood splatter collected during the massacre. It matches with a decayed body, or something close to one as well. It matches with 50% to Venus's blood. There's no trace of dragon though or Kazami. However, there were confirmed traces of hundreds of known youkai including myself in the other half. I know you wanted to be thorough Master but this isn't mere coincidence." Eirin stops going through the reports and looks up at Reisen.

"No doubt, there are twin souls. It means that someone here has blood relations with the dragon. No matter, the scary part is the possibility of stealing one's form or abilities with the other half of that DNA. We have enough doppelgangers as is with your illusion spells, and the Banki Tanuki as well. Shapeshifting at the molecular level though? If it's that man during the Festival as well as during the massacre." Eirin hums lowly to herself.

"It'll be best to tell the bamboo cutters to stay alert. I heard they met a man claiming to be Myouren Hijiri." Meeting with Reisen's eyes they glow for a moment.

"Yes, Undonge. You're thinking it's an impossibility, yet we have dragons walking among the riffraff." Reisen stammers trying to figure out this new development.

"Were those magic signatures you felt really that unique Master?" Eirin nodded with confidence.

"Interesting developments lately assistant."

"Ugh, so now that Doctor is gonna be on my tail." Mumbling to himself as he trace his blood trails throughout the surface of Gensokyo. He looked down at his feet to see the mangle remains of a youkai hunter. Pulling out the oversized needle embedded in what remained of the hunter's sternum and look at it.

"You liquified from the inside out from this poison needle. That means an insectoid type youkai kill ya. Welp, gonna eat the rest of ya." Vector grunts as he pulls the rest of corpse into himself and felt the remaining thoughts and pains of this older hunter.

"Suicide? Man these outsiders turn hunters are crazy. They always look for a way out and sometimes they choose to be eaten." Vector knew hunting now will be most profitable if he wasn't being follow.

"Tengu! I know you're there!" The quicken rustles of leaves and the vacant sound of wind meant only one thing.

"You got good senses stranger, such a strange power too. Speaking of, did you kill this person?"

"I wish you had good ears. Man wanted to die by youkai and got sucked bone dried by a giant bee youkai. My guess it's a hive queen in the forest that's looking to nest and mate." Aya wrote down everything she heard from Vector.

"You're different from other demons, what mafia bound youkai hunts other youkai?" Vector had to wear the head family emblem on the sleeve of his yellow snakeskin jacket. Only other crime syndicates and youkai would recognize the Blazing Wolf and Horse of Saki's symbol.

"You can watch me do my job. I'm a exterminator of the extreme kind. If we leave this queen alone it'll harrass the bystanders with its young. Shouldn't take much of this day to end her existence."

"You have zero issues killing our kind?" Vector was asked that so many times and so many years he gave the same answer.

"Our kind are human enough that I don't want to hurt you. The kind I kill are too far gone to be even called youkai. They're just food and monsters to me. However, I also get rid of sinners too." Vector starts walking in a direction vaguely seen the newly vacant memories he gain and stopped seemingly at random. He reels back his arm back and materialized a tachi.

Bloodletter's Curse

*BREWMM*

The thrown tachi would've hit the treeline if it didn't seemingly went through the trees as if they weren't there and then fully disappeared from Aya's sight. A black and red trail permeated from the area it was.

"A tracking spell?"

"A tracking spell that kills the target even if I can't see them?" Aya took a step back and pull out her steel leaf shape fan.

"It's aimed at a feral, not you." Aya still kept her guarded stance.

"It's hard to trust someone when they're cover in the smell of hell." He shrugs and begins walking into the thicket and felt the tachi embed itself into the Queen's head. Instantly falling over half dead and half conscious. Fully paralyzed from the neck down from the angle the blade lodged itself. Being able to see the scene fold with the eyes of the dead implanted around gensokyo another blood skill of Vector is surveillance skills. With them being fairly low energy and fully dead no one can notice them are any different from the vacant magic in the air. Vector was tired of walking and starting feeling himself tear apart harshly.

*Fwush*

To Aya she watch him take a step and then disappear without a trace of magic to follow except the short red and black aura that also was quickly dissipating as well.

"WAIT!? Damn it, guy was too interesting to let go. The way he uses black magic is fascinating. Trouble is, that he's too good at hiding. How have we've never seen a guy like that before?"

He felt... familiar too.

"So then Orin came back degected again because she couldn't catch some rare fish with her cat form." For a few hours we talk through our pasts to get outta the air properly. Some of it far from friendly but at this point. We're both never gonna share what we heard here anyways.

"So, what's tomorrow gonna bring?"A good question. When's the flower viewing?

"In a few days I think. I don't usually go cause I think I'll get a complete overload of minds clashing." Right, She gets tired quite easily in a crowd as even passing thoughts will eventually reach her. Me and Satori started cleaning up our board game extravaganza as we haven't eaten anything since early morning. Satori steps out for a few minutes and came back a slight tinge to her cheeks.

"Yuugi's thoughts were wondering why we didn't go down on each other already. She was hoping to say that we should keep my voice down."...

"Yep."...

I huff as I thought about it for a moment. No, it's just not the right time. I have alot to do and fix. When it's a bit more quiet in this life. I'll give you my honesty.

"Putting that aside how do you feel eating prehistoric fish caught from the Sanzu river?" Lovely. Does that mean Tulley's monster is here too?

"Fascinating creature. A mix of insectoid and early aquatic animals. It could be an early cephalopod." Possibly, it has the beak structure of one.You know your hornets around here are huge.

"All the more to deter outsiders. If the youkai and magic doesn't stop them. Maybe our bigger than average grove of bugs will." I think various types of diseases will kill them faster than insects. Though, the suicide rate out here must be quite high to cover all the feral killings.

"It's only nature running it's course. Kinda like the dead tree of Saigyouji, they said if you sleep under it. It takes your soul." So you know about that? A passing look at Yukari or was it me? Cause I have a feeling you can't read the undead as there is no brain activity to follow.

"You're correct, the true undead and ghosts can think but I can't see their thoughts. I saw your passing thoughts and it came up, but I didn't understand the concept of demon tree." Nature can be quite dangerous, but beautiful nonetheless.

"You sound like your mother when you speak like that." Nature begets nature. Actually do you wanna eat out tonight and come back? I haven't had many cuisines I don't know about normally. Satori bit her lower lip in response.

"Sorry, but you'll have to meet the unsavory groups unless we personally go to the lower basement restaurant under this establishment." I was wondering where that second door went. Do we got to get dress up again or? She shook her head.

"Robe's are good enough Yuugi said. We'll probably see her and the other's too today."Cool, what's the problem that I can't handle?

"Will you stopped me from getting to drunk? After some embarrassing moments with Rin and Yuugi when I last partied hard a few years back." I promise, that I'll watch over you before you get into a bender. Besides, I don't drink.

"Good, that's good."

"There you are my paralized Queen." Vector smile at the frantic bug like eyes focus on him. The multiple limbs twitching from the broken spasms and constantly burning nerves that kept reconnecting then burn away upon contact with blade lodged in it's neck column.

"You know the thought of taking your ability here is tempting, hyper speed, high reflects, 360 spatial awareness, egg laying to some extent." He inspected the hunter's memories. He moved her gently to her back and eyed the swollen abdomen.

"Goddammit. You killed him after doing the deed? Queen's your size only lay a dozen eggs and stayed within those numbers if they're smart." One thing was obvious, she had heighten brain activity that was indicative of non ferals.

Welp, killing her would be better, but if she's already crossed over to our realm.

"Whoaaaa! A wasp queen youkai out here? Wait, she kinda looks like us." Vector sigh as he swiftly pull out the tachi and did a quick reconstruction of the Queen's spinal column. Instantly she crawled away rasping away in frantic speech patterns.

"Please!...Atleast until after they're born!" She finds herself at a stump gripping it tight enough to break it.

"In normal circumstances I would kill you. But...Aya?"

"Eh?"

"You know a shelter for new sentient youkai?"

"We can take her in until she gives birth. Up to that point we can teach her to be more civil. Hopefully she'll have a full human form by then." Vector eyed the red and black coloration of the chiten skin, with the only thing human was the blacken void of eyes closing and the strawberry blonde long hair.

"Welcome to your new life child." Vector turns away and thinks back to the fact his hesitation is only there cause it's not in good faith to kill pregnant women in his line of work. Too many times a foolish exterminator or youkai causes a chain of spirits to get themselves killed and possessed. Or worse, the spirit of the child haunts them until they kill themselves from guilt.

Never take a chance with a mother's child.

"WOOOOOO!"

"DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!"

"Honestly they're kinda noisy tonight." Everyday is party day here in the underground and we found Suika downing a 20 gallon barrel of Oni made sake.

"I'm jealous of your big butt." See, it's the perfect a-aaaargh! Ear! Ear!

"Shut it you. This rear isn't that pretty Parsee. I wish I had your slim but tone figure." Parsee seemed to appreciate the compliment as she dug into her beef ramen silently. I like you the way you are Satori. However, if you do become slim. I don't think I'll dislike it. But I like to hold and squeeze the current you. My soft and squishy Satori.

"Don't be too harsh on him. If he's with you right now, I don't see how adding more will change that." Yuugi must of overheard our conversation.

"I don't see how a man like this. I always get comments about my eye and my smaller than normal size." Well, they're not me, I think you have mature qualities that makes me like you more. The bonus is just the size of your downstairs is the perfect amount to love and hold unto. Isn't it more important that I get to love you in all forms?

"Not, the smoothest man. But the confidence and conviction of your words really tells how you're heart is really visible regardless of if I read you or not.". Don't they say women love a confident man over a wary man?

"Confidence and a bit of a stupidity. You're more curious like a happy but old dog." Old!?

"That gets a reaction?" I'd rather be called a puppy. Satori chuckles at me.

"I suppose you're more of a lost puppy since you're far away from home." Not that far, It's just an hour away if I go full speed back.

"Yep, definitely a puppy in a sea of wolves, best not lose him or someone else will take him in." You gotta have some strong treats to get me away from where I am right now.

"You're quite loyal to each other. Now if I could find a man like that in this vale of disobedience you see here in the underground." I hope Yuugi finds someone that can appreciate such honesty. Oni are nothing else if stubborn but headstrong group of people. Anyways, I should finish this beef bowl and sake. They don't usually give water here and Yuugi would tanned my hide if I didn't drink atleast once. Rice made wine doesn't sound appealing but if it's your national 24/7 food might as well do whatever you can do with it. It's just kinda mild tasting minus the enthanol that gets you drunk in it. I watch as the pitcher of beer on Satori's side disappear instantly.

"ANOTHER!" That's three. Well, I'm done for today. Let's get you out of here. Picking her up bridal style and heading to the door.

"WOOO!" How much percentage was in those?

"180 proof"...

"What the fuck."

"You're sake was 200 proof." Fucking christ. I waved to everyone we knew and quickly went back to our room to sleep.

Author Notes: Really late, really shouldn't took this long either. I got stuck helping a friend for a few weeks on his writing ideas. Merry Christmas to all on a very late gift.
