Ch.3 Piano
POV: Rose
Back when we were at St. Vladimir's, when Dimitri treated my wounds from training, I would often notice how long and graceful his fingers were. It had crossed my mind before that he had played the piano when he was back in Russia. But I'd never had evidence to support my thoughts.
But now, as we stood in front of the piano in the grand ballroom in Lissa's palace, the result of a dare, he gently touched a key and a note resounded. One of the most peaceful smiles I'd ever seen on him spread across his face. The one note turned into a full-on scale.
When he caught Lissa, Adrian, and I staring at him, he blushed. "My mother taught me," he defended.
My hunch was correct - he knew how to play. And from the way his fingers danced along the keyboard, knew to play very well.
