POV: Lucas (Christian's father)
If someone had told me ten years ago I would turn Strigoi with my beautiful wife Moira by choice, I would have laughed at them and called them delusional. There was no way it could happen, to my young mind.
But then, of course, I wouldn't have known why. Wouldn't have known the deaths of my best friends, of the thin line between life and death.
I stared into Moira's eyes in the back mirror. It's time, I thought, watching her sink her fangs into the feeder's neck.
No regrets, I told myself. I wasn't a victim to die at the whims of Strigoi. It was time to create a future for Moira and myself.
Have you ever wondered why Lucas and Moira turned? I was re-reading my copy of the Untold Stories the other day and put my book down wondering that. Tasha provided her opinion, but really, I think it has more to do than what she thinks it is. (I hate that bitch - she just doesn't know where to stop!)
