13. Drabble 13 Water

Ch.13 Water

POV: Mia

My teachers told me: water is a survival element. If you have water, you can survive because you can drink it. I had held out hope that I could use it as a weapon against Strigoi. Then Rose said that water wasn't an element used for battles, and I lost my hope.

Then Spokane happened. Christian freed Rose using his fire magic, and I became more and more convinced water magic was useless. What use was water against plastic flex-cuffs?

Mason returned for Rose, and I followed him. Christian and Eddie were waiting for the guardians, and I stood in the doorway with Mason's body on the rug and Rose struggling against Isaiah and Elena. I broke the aquarium that day with my magic, and I'm proud of it.

Now, who said water can't be a weapon?
