Ch.22 Temptation

POV: Dimitri

Temptation. Such a meaningless word. And yet, it wasn't meaningless.

Temptation, the feeling I experience every day at training with Roza...

Temptation that reminds me I could never have her. Never be able to play with the silky locks of her dark hair, never be able to kiss her soft, soft lips and explore her glorious body...

I want her more and more everyday, and I cannot have her. I want to be able to do everything I have ever wanted to do to her, show her the inappropriate things I have imagined doing to her during training.

I cannot.

Rose is the forbidden fruit, and I am not allowed to taste her... until Satan whispers into my ear to do so.

So I have to swallow up my pain and desperation, and resist the sweet - but forbidden - temptation that makes my heart ache.
