Ch.30 Essay

POV: Third Person

Lissa, Jill, Christian and Dimitri watched amusedly as Rose threw a fit. Over an essay from LeHigh she damn well didn't know how to do.

"-it's cruel how they assign such a large load of homework for the holidays, I mean, holidays are meant to be for relaxing, for God's sake! How anyone can relax with this much homework beats me -"

Eddie choked from the wall, trying to smother his laugh before Rose noticed, but she heard it.

"And you, Edison Castile, finding it funny that Lissa and I have to suffer from homework, and you not having to just because you're not in university -"

"Little Dhampir!" Adrian said brightly, walking in. "What are you yelling about now?"

"The homework load for this holiday is hellish and Eddie was laughing at me for complaining!" Rose huffed indignantly.

Adrian couldn't help it. He doubled over, tears streaming down his face, clutching his sides. "The great Guardian Rosemarie Hathaway complaining about homework," he chortled.

Rose glared at him, looking about ready to beat him up.

Though Dimitri would love to see her do so, she couldn't hurt a royal. Also, Adrian and Dimitri had a bromance of sorts, and Dimitri could hardly let her touch him, right?

He placed a hand on her arm, and whispered into her ear. "How about I help you?"

She smiled up at him. "Thanks Comrade!" she squealed. "I'm gonna go find food!" she added chipperly.

A short Author's note please, I have a question I've been dying to ask.

How old are you all? I know it sounds creepy, but I want to know if I can more mature scenes if you are all like, around Rose's age in the Vampire Academy books.
