Ch.36 Pole
POV: Dimitri
"How'd she walk into a pole anyway?" my charge asked into the phone.
He listened, then said, "We'll be there."
"What happened?" I asked him.
"Apparently Rose walked into a pole and now has a headache or something," he shrugged.
"What?" My brain couldn't comprehend that. Rose was observant - why had she walked into something she would have seen?
Unless she was distracted.
What had she been thinking that caused her to walk into a pole that she should have seen in front of her?
I must have said that aloud, otherwise, Adrian wouldn't be opening his mouth now. "Maybe she was thinking of what you were going to do to her when you get home... You know, in the bedroom?" He wiggled his eyebrows.
"Go to hell, Adrian," Christian said. "Though now that I think of it, it makes sense..."
Both of them looked at me, then started laughing.
I almost walked into a pole yesterday, unlike poor Roza. Oof.
What's your favourite book? Seems a pretty normal question...
