Ch.57 Flat

POV: Third Person

When Rose and Dimitri finally brought a house, their old neighbours were relieved. Their old landlord, was not.

If you asked anyone around Court, they could tell you that those two were in love - hell, some days Rose sported dozens on wicked-looking hickeys on her neck, or Dimitri would suddenly move his body and wince like something had clawed him. Their neighbours had long learned that while living with the famous couple had its uses, it also has its downsides.

They'd learned that there was rarely a day when they wouldn't hear Rose's moans or Dimitri's growls, that there was never really a day when the walls didn't shake, and there was absolutely never a day when they heard their banter.

They learned to live with it, of course, but when the two bought their house, the people there had parties to celebrate the fact that they would be getting much-needed sleep.

However, no one would buy that apartment. Maybe for the fact that it had been defiled over every inch of the surface, or maybe because there was a very obvious crack in the bedroom wall.
