"You can call me Yoru."

It's a lie, her Intuition whispers. It's isn't his true name.

But Tsuna ignores these whispers. Yoru - or whatever his name was - already gave his word that he wouldn't hurt her family. Not to mention, Giotto said she could trust this yokai, a relative of his friend, and Grandpa never steered her wrong, so she will take his word on this. And If Yoru wants to hide his true name, she will allow him this secret until he is ready to share it.

"Nice to meet you, Yoru-kun," she says truthfully. "Make yourself comfortable."

Rikuo simply nods, setting down on the bed. Noticing his intense gaze on her, the brunette asks with confusion:

"What? Is there something wrong?"

"No, nothing's wrong!" he hurriedly assures. "It's just… You're calm for a person who found out about the yokai world only yesterday."

"What, you prefer I say "Hiee! Ayakashi!" and faint?" Tsuna asks with a laugh, mirth dancing in her eyes.

"No, but I expected something like this," he admits. Before, Tsuna would have certainly reacted this way to the knowledge.

Whatever happened in the year her Flames awoke, it had changed her. She had become braver, more strong, more determined to protect what was hers. But underneath it all, she was still the same Tsuna Rikuo knew - kind, gentle, sweet, a bit shy, and encompassing.

"I faced things scarier than you. Plus," Tsuna's voice returns Rikuo to the present, "It didn't take me long to accept the fact that yokai exist because weird is part of my life now. I mean, I wield the fire. The yokai is just a new part of that."

"I see," Rikuo says slowly. He could see her point. It was the same for him - he grew up among ayakashi, creatures of myth, was a one-quarter yokai himself, so getting used to the idea that Dying Will Flames existed didn't take time at all.

"Hey, Yoru-kun," she speaks up suddenly.

"Hm?" Rikuo hums, looking at the in question.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Shoot."

"Why did you visit me the night before and today? I'm an ordinary girl, albeit the one with fire powers. We barely know each other. Is this just a curiosity?"

"You're much more than "an ordinary girl with fire powers" and it's more than just a curiosity. I truly want to get to know you."

Tsuna knows he means every word he has just said. He truly wanted to get to know her. Just her. He didn't desire her for her Flames like Byakuran of the future did, he really wanted to get to know Sawada Tsunami.

And she doesn't know how to feel about that.

"You sound just like my friends," is all she can say in reply, "They say the same thing whenever I feel unsure of myself."

"The ones you spoke to via video call before I arrived?" Rikuo clarifies.

Tsuna nods. "Mhm. And Kana-chan. And Rikuo-kun. And Reborn. I'm very lucky to have them, though the latter is a total sadist."

"And now you have me," Rikuo adds. His heart skips a beat at the look in her eyes when Tsuna's mentioned his name. Could she be… "You should listen to your friends more often because they are right and you are amazing."

"I'll try," Tsuna's cheeks grow hot at the compliment.

Yoru chuckles at her reaction before sparing a glance at the clock. He needed to get home, otherwise, the Clan will start to worry.

He stands up. "Well, as nice it was talking with you, I need to go and you need your beauty sleep."

"Wait!" Tsuna suddenly calls out, standing up from the chair. Rikuo stops on his way to the window to look at her in question.

Tsuna hesitates for a few moments before asking:

"Have we… met before? I have this feeling that we did meet before. But I just can't remember where and when!"

Oh, Tsu, he thinks to himself. If only you knew.

Out loud, he says:

"Yeah, we met before. In your dreams," then adds with a cocky smirk and a wink, "Night, Princess. Sweet dreams and see you soon."

And he is gone before Tsuna can come up with an answer.

"Did he just…"Tsuna blinks in disbelief at the spot where Yoru was a moment ago, "flirt with me?"

"Yeah, he did," Daniela confirms, appearing in the room along with Primo. "That was cheesy."

"Cheesy as it was, at least he didn't propose right away as his grandfather did back in the day, "Giotto adds. He snorts in amusement. "Yeah, we met before. In your dreams," he mimics the young ayakashi before shaking his head. "The boy is a Nurarihyon through and through."

Tsuna has to agree with her ancestor. She may not know about this world the amount of time he did, but one thing is certain: the yokai are weird.

"We met before. In your dreams," she mumbles to herself as she closes the window. "Flirt or not, he knows how to avoid the question."

She falls asleep to the Hyper Intuition whispering that she already knows this yokai.

When Rikuo comes back home, he immediately goes to sit on the Sakura branch, lost in thought and analyzing tonight's meeting with his childhood friend.

Tsuna surprised him, to say the least. Like he told her he expected a more emotional reaction to the knowledge that yokai were real. Like, telling him to go away and never return or turn him to ashes with that Flame of hers.

Instead… Instead, he got acceptance after the promise he wouldn't hurt the Ienaga family. And even though she could tell he had given her a fake name, she accepted it too.

Tsuna really is amazing, Rikuo muses to himself with a soft smile.

Then, there was a look in her eyes when she talked about his human form. It was soft and full of love.

Could she also have a crush on him?

Or it's just friendship and he looks for something that is not here?

Rikuo smirks at himself. Geez, he sounds like a lovesick idiot.

"What are you doing to me, Tsuna?" he whispers, looking at the moon as though it could give him answers.

But alas, it couldn't give them, and just shined on the young yokai in love as he thought about his beloved.
