Ch.58 School

POV: Third Person

Lissa loved school. Bad enough that the courses she chose were super boring (at least for Rose and her other guardians). But what Rose really complained about was the eight-hour long lectures on political science.

Rose didn't really have a problem with Lissa's choices in languages: Romanian and Russian. Lissa took those classes because she genuinely wanted to connect with her people and solve their problems, and because most Moroi and dhampir lived in Romania and Russia, she felt that it was her duty to learn those languages.

Rose normally paid attention in those two courses - if it helped Rose better protect Lissa she'd do anything, even if it meant twisting her tongue to pronounce the incomprehensible words, then so be it.

Today, she was determined to be on her A-game.

Dimitri was the guest speaker today, and she wanted to prove that she actually paid attention...

She must've tried really hard, because she woke up sore the next day, with bruises on her hips and lovebites decorating her neck.
