AN: I don't like how this chapter turned out, but I hope you enjoy it.

Tsuna finds the Squad, safe and sound, a few minutes later.

"Tsuna-chan!" Kana exclaims in relief upon seeing Tsuna, and engulfs her in a strong hug. "Thank Heavens, you're okay!"

"Told you I would be fine," Tsuna says, hugging back.

"You call this fine?" Kana asks with a frown as she pulls away, and sees the bruises. "You look like you have been through a fight!"

"Just the appearance of my clumsiness," Tsuna says with an easy smile - her cousin is worried as it is she doesn't need to know that she hit the nail on the head. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah!" Kiyotsugu-kun pipes up. "We are fine. So!" he says, changing the topic. "Have you seen the yokais?" he asks excitedly.

"Kiyotsugu-kun!" Kana hisses at the boy, sneaking a protecting arm around Tsunami. "Of course, she has seen them. She has just escaped from them! Be a little sensitive!"

"Take it easy, Kana-chan," Tsuna pats her cousin on the arm to calm her down. She's reminded of their childhood days when usually quiet and shy Kana jumped to her defense because bullies bothered her. That hasn't changed even years later, and while Tsuna appreciates it, she can stand up for herself now. She also doesn't want Kana to argue with her long-time friend because of her, so she says, "I'm not offended and will answer Kiyotsugu-kun's questions. But first, let's leave this place before we get in more trouble?"

The group nods and starts to move.

"So," Kiyotsugu says with a spring in his step as he catches up to the cousins. "Have you seen yokais?"

"Yes, I did. Not for long, though. Something scared them off."

"Was it the Lord of the Pandemonium?" there are stars in Kiyotsugu's eyes when asks this.

"Nope," Tsuna shakes her head. "Didn't see who it was."

Kiyotsugu's reaction to this makes them all jump.

"Not fair!" he whines loudly. "While Sawada-kun saw a yokai that could possibly have been the Lord of the Pandemonium, I saw no yokais. Not even one. So unfair!"

Tsuna can't help it. She bursts out laughing. More from relief that they are all safe than Kiyotsugu's reaction at the lack of meeting yokais, though that also plays a part.

"Sorry," she manages to say through the laughter when she sees the Squad looking at her in confusion. "I didn't mean to laugh. It's just…I'm glad we are all safe. That, and Kiyotsugu-kun's reaction is funny."

Maki snorts at that. "You're right, he's an idiot, but a funny one."

"Hey!" Kiyotsugu yells, offended. "Not funny."

"A little funny, actually," Shima admits quietly. Kiyotsugu immediately turns on him:

"Not you too, Shima-kun! You're supposed to be on my side! Traitors," the curly-haired boy grumbles, arms crossed over his chest. "All of you."

They continue to tease Kiyotsugu until they leave the abandoned building and its' darkness behind.

Kiyotsugu continues to whine about the unfairness of the situation on their way to the train station. Thankfully, no one attacks them on their way there, and they board the train without any problems.

"Go to sleep, Kana-chan," Tsuna says as she takes the seat next to Kana. Now that her cousin isn't filled with tension, worry, and fear, Kana looks ready to fall asleep on spot. "We reach Ukiyoe in a few hours anyway. Rest."

"You should rest too," Kana mumbles.

"I'm not tired. Go to sleep."

Kana does, her head resting on Tsuna's shoulder. The others are asleep too, judging by their quiet snores and slow breaths. Tsuna just appreciates the quiet before falling asleep herself.

"Man, "Maki yawns as they get off the train in Ukiyoe the next morning. "Tsu-chan, how are you not yawning every five minutes? We slept on the train, but I'm still tired. You, on the other hand, are chipper as ever. How do you do it?"

"I'm used to it, I guess," the brunette says with a shrug. "My tutor constantly drags my friends and me on various trips. Lack of sleep is a given, so it doesn't bother me much."

"Must be nice," Natsumi notes as she hides her own yawn when she suddenly perks up. "Hey, look! Here are Rikuo-kun and Tsurara-chan!"

Natsumi is right. Rikuo and Tsurara are here, and when the former notices them, he waves them over with a smile.

"Hey," the young Decimo greets the duo as others do the same when they approach. She furrows her brows in concern. "Are you okay, Rikuo-kun? You look unwell."

And that's to put it lightly. Rikuo looks like he hasn't slept at all and he has cuts and bruises on his face.

Just what he was up to the day before?

"I'm fine," he reassures with a weak smile. "Just been busy."

"So busy that you didn't sleep, but not busy enough to meet us at the station?" Kana asks with a raised brow as she crosses her arms over her chest.

Tsurara huffs. "I tried to get him to rest, but he didn't listen."

"Yeah, sounds like Rikuo-kun," Tsuna agrees with a sigh. Then again, she acts the same with her friends in Namimori, so she has no right to judge her childhood friend on his sleeping habits.

"Hey, I was worried."

"Well, as you can see, Nura-kun, we're fine," Kiyotsugu-kun says. "And since our trip was successful, I suggest-"

"Oh no," Maki jumps in before Kiyotsugu can plan another crazy trip. "You don't. We are going home to sleep, and then it's us, just girls, spending time together."

Kiyotsugu huffs a bit, but allows the girls to plan.

"Yeah," Natsumi agrees, eyes bright. "We can have a sleepover."

"Sleepover?" Kana repeats. With the way her eyes shine, she likes the idea. "I love it."

"Then it's a deal," Maki says. "We will figure out the details later. Oikawa-chan can come too."

"I… can?" Tsurara sounds unsure as she asks this. Like she isn't sure she's welcome to join them.

"Yes," Tsuna says. "Meanwhile, make sure Rikuo rests, yeah?"

"I will," Tsurara says. "Come on, Rikuo-sa-kun."

"Yes, ma'am!" Rikuo says jokingly.

After that, they go their separate ways.

Ichiro and Sumiko are given the edited version of the previous night when the cousins come back. The same goes for her Guardians when she calls them via video call. Thankfully, her cuts and bruises from yesterday already healed, and she looked the same she always did, and they didn't suspect a thing.

"Wow, Tsuna, you have quite a vacation," Yamamoto says with a laugh. Like with the previous call, all Guardians are present.

"Tell me about it," Tsuna says with a smirk. "What about you? Destroyed anything yet?"

"We are close to it, kufufu," Mukuro replies.

"You mean you are close to it," Tsuna corrects, raising an eyebrow at him.

Mukuro shrugs, giving her an innocent look which Tsuna isn't buying for a second. "Well, what can I say, Tsunami-chan, it's boring without you, kufufu."

"Sure, whatever you say, Mukuro-kun."

In that moment, Kana pokes her head into the room.

"Hey, Tsuna-chan," she says. "Natsumi-chan called. We're having a sleepover at her place."

"Sure. When?"

"We will go after dinner."

"Okay."

With that, Kana leaves, saying a quick "Hi, nice to meet you, I won't be in a way" to her Guardians.

"Your cousin is nice," Chrome notes.

"Yeah, she is," the brunette agrees. "Maybe I'll introduce you someday."

Hibari scoffs at her words. Clearly, he thinks Kana is an herbivore, and there is no point in meeting her.

Mukuro, however, focuses on another part of the conversation.

"You're going to a sleepover?" he asks, strangely eager.

"Yes."

"Then surely you will talk about boys. Then make sure to mention my devilishly handsome looks, yeah?"

"In your dreams, Mukuro-kun," she says. The teasing remark comes easy.

The resulting pout from Mukuro and laughter from others are worth it.

Tsurara has to admit… This sleepover with human girls is nice. Back at the Main House, she has no time for things like this, too caught up in her duty to Rikuo-sama, and it's not like she has many female friends, yokai or human, doesn't matter, the point still stands. So, it's nice to just forget about the important things for a while and do girl stuff. Currently, they are discussing crushes, sitting in a circle on futons.

"Okay, who goes first?" Saori asks, looking around until her gaze settles on her best friend. "Okay, Natsumi, you first."

"Well," Natsumi lowers her eyes as the blush blooms on her cheeks. "There was this…man. It's been a while since I saw him, but he saved me once."

She is talking about Kuro isn't she, Tsurara thinks with a heavy dose of amusement. Meanwhile, Saori turns to Tsuna:

"And who do you like, Tsuna-chan?"

Tsuna opens her mouth, but before she can answer, Kana jumps in:

"She likes Rikuo-kun," she sing songs.

Tsurara freezes in shock at that as her amusement dries up. Then jealousy flares up in her chest.

Of course she likes Rikuo-sama. Who wouldn't? Plus, they are childhood friends, Yuki-Onna thinks angrily as she glares at the girl in question. What I don't get is why Waka likes her so much. Yes, she's pretty, I give her that. Yes, she has powers, but she's mortal. He's gonna outlive her, anyway.

Tsuna, for her part, blushes to the roots of her hair, too caught in her embarrassment to notice Tsurara's glare.

"You liked him that too," she says to Kana in an attempt to direct attention from herself.

"I did," Kana doesn't deny it. Distraction failed. "But it passed. You, on the other hand, still like him."

"Ohh," Natsumi says. "She got it bad."

"Rikuo-kun is worse," Kana says. "So they are perfect for each other. I won't be surprised if they get married someday."

"I hate you," Tsuna murmurs, her red face hidden in her hands. "You're the worst. All of you."

"We love you too!" the girls respond in a cheeky chorus. Tsurara mumbles something as well, too low to hear. She looks grumpy for some reason.

Sometimes Tsuna really hates her life.

Rikuo knows it's bad to spy on girls when they are having a sleepover, knows he's taking a page out of Nurarihyon's book - ha, like he didn't do that when he snuck into Tsuna's room at Ienaga Household at night all these times before, – but he can't himself. He's curious to know what they are talking about and if Tsuna mentioned him. So far nothing interesting came up. Or maybe he missed that part, considering he only came a few minutes ago.

Kami-sama, I'm turning into Gramps when he met Grandmother, Rikuo thinks when he feels the branch he's crouching on tremble. He doesn't have to turn to know it's Itaku.

He has been found. Damn.

"Spying on your crush again?" his mentor asks.

"Yep."

"Which one of them is her?"

"The one with light brown hair."

Itaku's sharp eyes find Tsuna among the group and look her over. Rikuo can tell by his expression that he's unimpressed with what he sees.

"Seems like your type," Itaku says with a shrug, "Now, have you had enough? Training won't wait for you."

"I'm coming… Oi, Itaku!" Rikuo exclaims when Itaku takes him by the scruff of his kimono, impatient. Itaku ignores him, dragging him away. "I told you, I'm coming, quit being a brute!"

And the two yokais disappear, Rikuo's complaints carried away by the wind.
