Fear not citizens!
Hope has arrived, because I am here!
…
Sorry guys. Couldn't resist. It's been a while, we've finally arrived at the stage…
Naruto versus Erza. Now we already know that our boy easily claps her but! It should still be interesting to Watch or read in this case since Naruto would obviously be holding back.
Hope you all enjoy.
Start:
The excitement in the air was almost palpable.
A feeling that was shared without exception across all the members of Fairy tail around as they gazed with high levels of eagerness and anticipation for what was assuredly going to be a most thrilling match.
Standing in the clearing, undaunted by the stares on his person, Naruto sent a small grin to his opponent as the thrill of an upcoming battle got to him.
Likewise, Erza Scarlet wasn't a stranger to the feeling as she returned the blonde's grin with a small smile and nodded.
Having heard numerous tales about the blonde's ability from her fellow guild mates and assuming that they weren't exaggerated, which she highly doubted to be the case since everyone's story she questioned was almost similar in nature, The queen of the fairies requiped into her flight armor, knowing it would be a fatal flaw to underestimate the blonde.
Every ounce of speed was going to be needed in order for her to win their bout.
"What are you wearing?" Naruto couldn't help but question, a pink tint spread across his cheeks as he instantly took notice of her… assets.
The red-head was certainly well endowed, with two large shapely orbs for breasts, a trim waist that broadened into mouth-watering wide hips, and unbelievably thick thighs clad in dark stocking.
"Oh, this is my flight armor." Erza answered nonchalantly as she stretched, suppressing the urge to smirk as she noticed his eyes briefly glance over her form.
'It does not look like armor.' Naruto sweatdropped as his gaze flickered to the set of cat-like ears on either side of her head.
"Elfman, I want you to referee the match." Erza demanded, her voice firm and authoritative.
Said giant had no issue as he ste- "No. I will."
Gasps immediately followed before the thundering noise of cheer emanated from the crowd as Makarov walked into the clearing with a gait fitting for a wizard saint. He stopped once he was between the perplexed Naruto and surprised Erza, looking them over with a critical eye.
"I don't want this spar to get out of hand so I will be the one who will oversee this match."
"That's perfectly alright with us, master." Erza swiftly agreed with the shinobi giving a thumbs up in agreement.
Satisfied, Makarov nodded. "Then here are the rules, nothing too destructive, keep the damage to a minimum." The wizard saint sent a pointed glare to a fidgeting Erza. "All attacks should not be the kind that would cause permanent or severe injury. And the first one to tap out or fall unconscious loses."
"Now…" The guildmaster thrust a fist in the air and jumped away. "Begin."
Within milliseconds of hearing Makarov's declaration, Erza leapt at the startled blonde with frightening speed, one leg raised and thrust forward for a brutal kick.
It was only due to his numerous years of fighting that helped Naruto polish his combat instincts and allow him to dive away just in time to avoid getting a boot to the face.
He stood up and appraised her much more critically as she readjusted herself, had he been just a split second late, chances were that he would have had more than just a busted lip and a broken nose. The woman in front of him was no joke.
Readjusting her course, Erza sent her opponent an impressed look. "Truly extraordinary, I was coming at you with full speed and had the element of surprise and yet you still managed to dodge me."
"You almost got me." Naruto admitted. "I wasn't prepared for that."
The red-head only smirked before she charged once more at the blonde, her form but a blur to all but the strongest of wizards (and shinobi).
With unrivaled eagerness, the pair engaged in hand to hand combat.
Ducking underneath a palm strike, Erza counteracted with a punch that Naruto sidestepped before he jumped as the woman performed a low-sweep kick meant to rob him of his footing.
But even in mid air, Naruto was forced to cover his face as the kneeling Erza maneuvered around so her palms were on the floor, allowing her to carry her body weight with just her hands as she thrust both feet towards her opponent for a two-legged kick to the face.
The soles of her boots connected to his forearms and Naruto was sent flying back from the sheer strength behind her attack.
Letting his feet skid across the dirt, the shinobi shrugged away the slight pain he felt in his arms as he came to a stop then proceeded to dash at the similarly charging redhead.
Parrying a blow aimed at his liver, Naruto used that same hand to deliver a punishing cross that Erza had luckily jumped away from. Not giving her the luxury of time, he leapt towards her and brought his right elbow down for a diagonal slash that Erza bobbed underneath, not knowing that the blonde anticipated her move.
With the same arm, it came to a sudden and complete halt before Naruto snapped his arm back into place and connected a brutal backfist right into Erza's cheek, drawing out first blood as she spat the red liquid.
Still, this hadn't been the first time Erza had been brought to the point of spitting out blood mid-fight and she knew how to defend herself in that brief moment of vulnerability.
Acting quick, Erza thrust a low kick at the inner side of his knee just as the blonde had been readying to strike once more, bringing him down to his knee.
A highly dangerous position that Erza quickly made sure to take advantage of.
With widened eyes, Naruto quickly parried and blocked away at the strikes Erza sent his ways.
Left hook, right kick, jab, cross, right uppercut, low hook kick, elbow, switch kick…
Naruto's arms and hands ached as he blocked one strike after another, each blow powerful and fast in it's own right, each of the mentioned attack and several more melded together in an unending combination that was executed flawlessly, not allowing the shinobi a moment of reprieve so he could stand on his feet once more.
This continued on for a bit over half a minute, the crowd cheering and jeering at the awesome display of hand to hand combat as Naruto excellently defended just as Erza excellently struck.
However, despite Naruto's awe-inspiring capabilities of defending himself well in the vulnerable position he found himself in, he couldn't maintain his absolute defense forever.
And he came to that daunting realization as Erza feinted a hook that had him scramming to protect his head, only to leave his front exposed and ripe for the taking as Erza quickly stepped in just to raise and slam her knee right into his jaw, violently tipping his head back until all he was an expansive blue sky.
The world around him became even more hectic, passing images of his surroundings flashing in mind as Erza promptly kicked him in the chest, causing him to be skidding on the floor back first.
Groaning, Naruto pushed himself back up, a knuckle raised to wipe the dribble of blood that emerged past his lips while he sent her a look filled with respect. "Erza, I know it's been less than twenty-four hours since we first met but I have to say… you really are amazing."
A light dusting of pink colored the red-head's cheeks before it swiftly washed away as she sent him a pleased nod and a similar look of respect and amazement. "Thank you for the kind words and let it be said that I think of you the same way, if not even more."
Naruto grinned. "Reall-" "Can you two stop flirting!"
Immediately the pair blushed as someone from the crowd roared that sentence.
"Yeah! Continue the fight!"
"We want to see more!"
"Kick his ass, Erza!"
"I placed all my money on you, Naruto! So win!"
Many more explosive exclamations followed and Naruto chuckled alongside an amused Erza.
Erza's eyes twinkled, excited at the prospect of continuing to fight a worthy adversary. "You've heard them, let's continue."
"Before that." Naruto raised a palm in the multi-universal stop gesture. "Let me just release the gravity seals weighing on my body, you certainly are more than deserving of fighting me without those pesky seals holding me back."
Humming, Erza nodded and waited patiently, questions forming on the back of her mind and what was a gravity seal, even if she did find the name to be rather self-explanatory.
Sighing contently, Naruto cracked his knuckles before sending the redhead a nod.
Brimming with eagerness for more, Erza rushed in once more with incredible speed, entering his personal domain with the intent to draw blood.
A flurry of quick and powerful blows were exchanged between the two as they struck, weaved, retaliated, and dodged the other's attack.
To the eyes of the average user, nothing seemed to change as the pair seemed evenly matched as they traded blows.
But to Makarov's experienced eyes, eyes perfectly capable of following their movements unlike the remaining of the spectators, the wizard saint could see just how much Erza struggled to keep up with the blonde, her every move and physical attacks now all but inferior to Naruto's own beyond-impressive physical abilities.
Naruto didn't even seem anywhere close to being exhausted while droplets of sweat clung everywhere around Erza's form, even his posture conveyed that even though he was fighting with great effort, he wasn't exerting himself nowhere as much as he had been earlier.
And there was no forgetting the fact that Erza's speed was already boosted quite dramatically thanks to her flight armor.
Yet Naruto still had her on the ropes…
'If I had to say, Naruto's abilities are slightly below Laxus in terms of both pure physical speed and strength.' Makarov thought calculatingly.
But despite that, it was a gut feeling on Makarov's part that told him that if a fight were to ensue between the two blondes, it would be Naruto who would emerge victorious.
His guts had rarely led him wrong and Makarov had yet to see Naruto utilize and display any of his magic abilities in his fight against the strongest woman of Fairy Tail.
With that in mind, Makarov didn't doubt his guts at all as he proceeded to analyze the ongoing spar that was not in Erza's favour.
Still, Erza was an S-class mage for a reason and despite the gap of strength, speed, and even skill that existed between her and Naruto, Makarov could see how her battle instincts allowed her to overcome her shortcomings and stay in the fight for as long as she had.
Swiftly raising a forearm to protect the side of her head, Erza grimaced painfully as Naruto's shin connected and had her rocketing back until she was body slammed into a tree.
Getting back up briskly, Erza threw a cautious glare at the still blonde. 'I can no longer win against him in a purely hand to hand bout.'
With that in mind, Erza's body glowed before she was requiped into the exact set of armor that gave birth to her reputation as queen of the fairies.
Doki-Doki!
'She looks like an angel…' Naruto thought, mesmerized by her new appearance.
Now clad in silver metal, nearly all of Erza's body was covered from head to toe with the exception of her collar, the top side of her breasts, the front of her stomach, and parts of her bicep.
Silver-plated boots, a long skirt with large, decorated plates reminiscent of feathers that reached midway down the skirt, a small breastplate with six much smaller plates all pointing upwards to form a flower petal, metal straps that ran across her biceps before two large plated gauntlets covered her hands and arms.
And of course, the two large metal wings composed of those feather shaped plates that built off one another to become edgier and larger in appearance.
That was how he would describe what she was wearing.
Something that he had never ever seen in his life but was made good thanks to the woman who was adorning the unique set of armor.
"This armor is a favorite of mine, I call it Heaven's wheel armor!" Erza proudly declared.
Regaining his bearing, Naruto mentally chided himself for allowing himself to get distracted even as he sent her a smile. "You look beautiful." He couldn't help but admit.
The heartfelt admission along with that damningly cute smile of his nearly caused Erza to break out in glee before she clamped down on the impulse. She had an image she needed to maintain and present to unruly masses of Fairy Tail after all.
Scoffing, Erza sent the blonde a challenging glare. "Flattery won't win you this match." She declared.
Unknown to even the Titania herself, a small, almost unnoticeable pool of pink tinted her cheek, witnessed only by Makarov who only smiled knowingly.
Young love.
Chuckling, Naruto nodded before his countenance grew serious.
The crowd buzzed with excitement, expectant eyes trailing upon the pair. Suddenly, the shinobi's eyes slightly widened in surprise as dozens upon dozens of swords materialized in the open air with two more appearing on either of the red-head's palm.
Raising one hand in a silent display of challenge, Erza eagerly awaited his response.
Naruto didn't disappoint.
With a soft mumble of Kage Bunshin, exactly one hundred clones appeared from thin air much to the surprise of everyone present.
A few seconds filled with silence and bewilderment passed by before the members of Fairy tail roared with excitement.
Erza smirked excitedly at the sight. "Not bad, but not as impressive as this!"
With a telekinetic command, the swords flew with startling speed towards the clones who charged back towards the red-head.
In a manner of seconds, the clearing was filled to the brim with smoke as numerous blades pierced into the flesh of countless clones, only the noise of blades shattering alerted the mages watching that the concealed scuffle wasn't one-sided.
Inside the smoke, Erza looked around cautiously before whirling around, swinging a blade to slash at the chest of a clone who attempted to sneak up on her.
The clone dispelled and five more suddenly took their place.
Quickly flying to the air to escape them, Erza stopped her ascent to look down, eyes carefully scanning the surroundings for any clones or the original still masked by the gas.
Twenty swords materialized in the air around her and they spun around rapidly in a circle formation, blowing away the smoke to reveal twenty stationary clones who each pulled out and brandished their own kunai.
"Circle Sword!" She thundered before her swords flew down with the intent to skewer.
In one synchronous move, all the clones threw their kunais, forcing Erza to defend herself with her swords, dodging and weaving and parrying the numerous short blades with her own blades.
One clone, far away from the rest, held a shuriken in hand and observed as his sibling clones not skewered by Erza's weapons, continued throwing their kunai as planned, allowing the sole clone to watch and wait for an opening to exploit against the scarlet haired woman.
'There!' With a flick of the wrist, a shuriken cut through the air with impressive speed.
Erza spotted the flying projectile from the corner of her eyes, tilting her head far left and allowing the shuriken to whiz past her.
Only… she was unaware that it was what the blonde clone wanted.
With a pop, the shuriken transformed into the real Naruto who grinned as Erza gasped in shock. Taking advantage of her surprised state, Naruto grabbed her arm, spun her around before he hurled the redhead into the ground.
Boom!
Groaning in pain, Erza cracked a blurry eye open and attempted to sit up just to feel a razor sharp metal on her skin, a few seconds passed before her sight eventually steadied enough for her to know her predicament.
"It's my win." Naruto said with a small grin.
Erza chuckled and nodded as the blonde repocketed his short knife into his pouch. "Indeed, you have won our bout and I thank you once more for humoring my request."
The shinobi only smiled in response as he stood up, offering a hand to the titania who accepted and was pulled to her feet.
"And the winner is Naruto Uzumaki!"
The crowd, silent and stunned for the last minute, broke out into an ear-deafening cheer as Makarov announced the victor.
Before Naruto or Erza could utter a word, they were suddenly swarmed as everyone rushed in to congratulate them on a well earned fight.
Amid the incomprehensible noise and screams around, a bellow pierced through the air. "Fight me Naruto!"
The shinobi sighed before his eyes zeroed in on a head of pink hair. "Fine, but wait a week then we'll fight."
Nearly everyone cheered with Natsu pumping a fist in the air, excitement surging within him at the prospect of fighting a strong opponent.
The same one who just beat Erza!
Before anything more could be said, he and everyone suddenly cried out in surprise as they were all moved away several feet courtesy of Makarov picking them up with his enlarged hands. "You brats!" A pulsing tick mark formed on Makarov's forehead. "Give the two of them some space to breath!"
His admonishing tone and wrathful eyes immediately scared everyone into submission. "We're so sorry master!" They all yelled simultaneously.
A giggle pierced through the air, striking the ears of everyone present.
Gray, who had turned around like everyone else, was shocked beyond belief.
Just a few feet away from the crowd, a woman, positively gorgeous in her outward look, walked into the scene.
Dark purple hair, a shade darker than the most glimmering of amethyst stones, danced in the breeze, mid-back in length and surrounding a visage that was otherworldly in its beauty.
Chocolate brown eyes sparkled underneath fluttering eyelashes, a milky white complexion, smooth and without imperfections, helped draw attention to the plump pink lips that lay beneath a petite nose, her jaw was sharp and the lines across her face merged to form a face that was heart-shaped in appearance.
She was undeniably beautiful.
And was easily up there in the same league as the few other girls who, coincidently were from fairy tail, that Naruto considered to be as the most attractive women he had ever seen in his life.
Ultear's eyes twinkled as she nodded at the fifth ranked wizard saint before her eyes flickered to the current source of her intrigue. "Hello Naruto… May I call you by your first name?"
Her voice, soft and melodious, retained a tint of seductiveness that nearly caused Naruto to blush on the spot.
"I don't mind but…who are you?" Naruto questioned, gulping slightly as the woman, clad in a sleeveless white yukata that stopped at mid-thigh, strutted to him with a suggestive sway to her fertile hips.
Letting loose another giggle, the councilwoman stopped once just a feet away from the blonde and laid a hand on her ample chest. "My name is Ultear Milkovich, and I have to say… It's nice to meet you in person. That was an impressive match by the way."
Hearing her last name confirmed it, Gray at this point had no idea what to do, suck was the shock that was going through his system. 'How is this possible!? I thought master's daughter was dead…'
"Oh, Thank you." Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and looked away on instinct, still not used to such earnest compliments.
"Councilwoman Milkovich, what brings you here?" Makarov questioned sternly, posture tense as he professionally eyed the woman.
Nearly everyone tensed in surprise at Makarov's admission.
'Councilwoman!?' Everyone excluding a select few shuddered in horror.
Ultear smiled as she tossed her gaze to the elderly wizard saint before they snapped right back into the blonde's eyes. "To extend an invitation on behalf of the council to this handsome man." She announced while raising a hand to trail a finger across his jaw.
Off to the side, Erza frowned at the display, gripped by the urge to beat and assert her dominance over this skank.
The redhead wasn't the only one who experienced the same impulse. Mira, Cana, and even Lucy felt the same bloodlust coursing through their veins, a bloodlust that compelled them to put the councilwoman in her place.
Naruto nearly shivered at her touch, only the experience of having been put through only God knows how many brothels and strip clubs due to his pervy Godfather stopped the blonde from being putty in Ultear's hands.
"What do they want?"
Her small smile widened a tad, transitioning into something sinful. "To award you for your heroic work and to also make you a most compelling offer."
The shinobi quirked an eyebrow. "And what is this offer, Ultear?"
"Nuh uh huh." Ultear playfully booped his nose. "That is classified and won't be revealed to you unless you are before the council in person."
Makarov's eyes narrowed dangerously in suspicion yet remained quiet, as much as he wanted to interfere and shut down their offer, at the end of the day, the choice wasn't his to make.
Seeing no harm in hearing them out, Naruto came to a decision. "Very well, I'll meet them."
"Excellent. I am happy to hear that… Still I know the prospect of standing before the council alone must be intimidating so as a token of my trust, I'll allow someone of your choosing to accompany you if you'd like."
"I'll do it!"
A surprised Naruto turned and locked eyes with a determined Mira, the one who made that declaration.
Shaking off his surprise, Naruto gazed at her with concern. "Mira, are you sure? I don't want to burden you with this."
Mira smiled gently at the blonde. "It would be my pleasure to come, Naruto. I want to come, if you'll have me."
"I have no problem with you coming with me, happy to have you actually." He replied in earnest.
His response caused Mira to beam happily before she unintentionally locked eyes with Makarov. Words were exchanged telepathically between them before Makarov nodded in approval.
Knowing that someone responsible like Mira, someone who he frankly thought was too intelligent at times for her own good, was going to be there to help Naruto. It helped Makarov put his nerves at ease.
The guild master knew that he could wholeheartedly trust Mira to look after Naruto.
Excluding Yajima who he trusted explicitly, everyone else in the council he viewed with distrust…
That included councilwoman Ultear Milkovich.
Perhaps he wasn't being fair to her, or to any of them for that matter.
But countless interactions with them had successfully conveyed what kind of people they were, and it was laughably easy to deduce that the council would likely try to exploit or cage the young man who had saved his family and the people of magnolia.
Makarov would be damned before he'd let such a thing happen.
Unknown to the wizard saint, Mirajane mirrored his thoughts to the letter. She didn't trust the council or the purple haired harlot. She would rather die than do nothing as this Ultear or the magic council try to take advantage of him.
Seeing the knowing glint and the condescending smirk plastered on Ultear's visage as she looked her way, Mirajane knew for certain that she wouldn't get along with this woman.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Three hours later.
She called it!
In fact, she understated what she knew to be factual.
If Mirajane had to use three words to describe or sum up the woman known as Ultear Milkovich, this is what she had in mind.
A fucking bitch.
Throughout the entire time she and her blonde friend had boarded the train to Era alongside the purple-haired woman, then had boarded a carriage. Ultear had done only two things.
Engage in conversation with Naruto and just Naruto who began to warm up to her.
And needlessly ignore or antagonize the cover model of Fairy tail.
Seeing Naruto converse with the annoying bitch, Mira had begun to feel the telltale signs of guilt at seeing Ultear just behave as another woman. With that in mind, Mira tried to give her a chance by injecting herself into the conversation with them.
Only to be ignored or rudely rebutted against… twice.
The final icing on the cake… was when Ultear blew her a sarcastic kiss towards her in that brief moment that Naruto looked out the window.
Naruto, bless his soul, had tried to include her in the conversation multiple times and tried his best to not let her feel ignored or neglected. His actions were something she had easily noticed and was grateful. That was probably the only reason why Mira still held her nerves and not exploded on the woman whose personality was shaped like a cunt.
Despite her anger, Mira still managed to enjoy the trip thanks to her blonde companion and as far as she was concerned, he definitely earned boyfriend points when he was considerate enough to try to include her in almost every conversation he and Ultear had taken part in.
Not that she was thinking of him as a boyfriend!
Mira felt a warm fuzziness on her cheeks and quickly shooed away the thoughts before they could grow downright terrible.
"We've arrived." Ultear announced.
Exiting the vehicle within seconds, Naruto took a good look at the headquarters and had to admit that he was impressed with its design.
It did look majestic.
"Now a three hour ride can be exhausting in its own right." Ultear began to walk ahead, prompting Naruto and Mira to do the same. "So I will lead you both to your rooms so you can get some rest until we reconvene in two hours for the meeting. Of course, you are more than welcome to explore at your leisure."
They walked in silence, Naruto curiously looking around until they had finally arrived at their very temporary quarters.
Gaze drifting to the blonde, Ultear allowed a smile to creep on the edge of her lips as she stepped into his personal space much to the barmaid's silent annoyance. "Naruto, before I leave, I wish to inform you of the council's true agenda."
Naruto crossed his arms. "And what is that?"
"They wish to make you a wizard saint."
As expected, Mira immediately reeled back in shock at the admission. "A w-wizard saint?"
The shinobi wasn't as startled by the reveal, simply waiting for her to continue.
Ultear nodded, her countenance serious as she eyed the two. "On the surface, the reason is that they're filling the vacant position with someone who's powerful, reliant, and immensely capable. But there lies another reason for them wanting you to be a wizard saint and it's so they can keep their eye on you."
"That doesn't surprise me." Naruto said with a frown. "They haven't heard of me till recently so it's obvious that they would want information on me. Knowledge is power and all that."
"That reasoning makes sense to me." Mira grunted before her gaze narrowed in suspicion. "But why reveal this Ultear? Obviously there is a reason for why you'd inform us of this."
Naruto remained silent, blue eyes expectantly locking onto a confident and mischievous brown.
Eyes that sparkled with something that he couldn't identify.
Raising a hand, Mira bristled as Ultear flat out ignored her and cupped the right side of Naruto's slightly blushing face. "It's because I want to be your friend, Naruto."
"H-huh?" Confusion washed over his embarrassment as he eyed her in bewilderment.
Ultear giggled as she retracted her hand. "You see, I know the value of having connections, the right people can get you far and I want that for the both of us."
"I see." The shinobi nodded in understanding. "Well in that case, from today onward we're friends."
"How delightful." The purplette smiled, an upturn of the lips that was both dangerous yet seductive in its nature. "I look forward to spending more time with you in the future, preferably without your friend or my colleagues in the council."
Naruto returned her smile with a more genuine one. "We'll make time."
"I'm counting on it." Ultear purred, playfully patting his cheek before she walked away, stopping just to wink at the fuming supermodel before she resumed her departure.
Waiting until that dreadfully annoying woman was out of sight, Mira turned an incredulous gaze to the shinobi. "You're not actually taking her seriously about being her friend, right?"
"I am."
"Naruto." She called his name exasperatedly. "She is most likely going to try and use you."
"I know that there is a large possibility that she will try." Naruto admitted. "But there's no knowing for certain if she's the kind who would try and take advantage of others, so I owe it to her to give her a chance."
Mira felt her anger begin to swell, a result of having to endure the presence of that bitch for three hours and her concern for the blonde and how he was needlessly inviting danger. "And yet you still want to give her a chance when she's most likely the kind you just described!?"
The ex-jinchuriki only smiled gently. "You took a chance, you and everyone in Fairy tail… with me."
Her anger lessened considerably, eyes softening as she gazed into his kind orbs. "What are you talking about?" She questioned softly.
"I'm talking about the fact that I could have been the kind who would try to take advantage of you and everyone in Fairy tail… There was no way of knowing if I was that kind of person but despite that, you all still took me in and looked after me when I was unconscious."
"That's because it was the right thing to do. You needed help so we helped you. We don't need a reason to show kindness and compassion to others."
Naruto's smile only widened.
"And that's why I'm so grateful… where I come from, it's a dangerous place where death is constantly around the corner and people are wary of helping one another because most of the populace were cold-blooded killers. The place I came from has gotten much, much better recently but I grew up in that environment where trust and compassion was scarce."
His jinchuriki status prior to Pain attacking didn't exactly help him with the situation either.
The opposite in fact but he wasn't going to reveal that anytime soon.
A horrified Mira shuddered at the thought before she quickly embraced the blonde. "I'm so sorry you had to grow up like that."
"Don't be." The shinobi waved off the apology just as he returned her hug. "That kind of environment only made me more grateful for when I met you guys, people who would show unconditional kindness to others without a thought in mind."
Pulling away from the hug so he could see her face, Naruto held her hands in his grip.
"I know I've already thanked you all, but please let me do it again." Taking a moment to collect himself, he continued. "Thank you for showing me so much kindness and mercy when so many wouldn't have. I am beyond grateful."
Squeezing her hands, Naruto smiled gratefully at the beaming model. "And thank you Mira for also coming here with me, I really appreciate the fact that you're looking out for me."
Just like that, any lingering irritation was extinguished away as Mira turned away from him, unable to wash away the biggest smile that appeared on her features. "You're welcome." She voiced softly.
A comfortable silence descended on the pair before the blonde's stomach suddenly rumbled much to his embarrassment.
"Would you like to join me and find a place to eat? I'm starving." Naruto sheepishly admitted.
Mira giggled. "Sure."
End.
